Installing UK software version for s930 phone
Lenovo S930 I bought this phone via a Chinese website (deals extreme) and made the assumption that as it was ordered for the UK it would come English/ I have managed to get most of it in English but it is still pretty much a mess. I downloaded the open source file S930_Open_Source_20131112.zip from the Lenovo UK Support website, hoping that this would install and I would have the UK version of Android 4.2.2 which is the phones current version but it is a Chinese version.
I’m OK with PC installations but am pretty clueless when it comes to phones and android.
I have done a factory reset and tried to upgrade from a external sd card which is where the downloaded file is but it keeps on coming back failed.
I have looked at the README file with the download and it contains no instructions on how to install the software.
I would be grateful if anyone could help, please bear in mind that my technical knowledge of phones and android installations are limited.

Fourth post on that thread, it says how to install Google Apps (gapps in short which include google play as well).
Chinese applications can be uninstalled via Titianium Backup https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup (you have to root your phone though)

I just bought a new printer for my iMac version 10.7 Lion but I am able to install the software but for some reason I am not able to view the printer under system preferences to add the printer. Hi,
I just upgraded to Mavricks and get this when I try to launch Remote Desktop:
The Remote Desktop administrator software does not match the installed client software version.
I tried removing the application and reinstalling it to no avail. Any suggestions?

I am unable to access the iTunes store for the last two months, I've tried removing the software and re-installing the latest version for Windows XP and still no access; is there a solution that would allow me to get access again?
If you haven't got a backup copy and if it's still in the store then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download (there is no guarantee that they will) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

You can't expect an update for your phone which was launched almost 3 years back. Anyways Symbian is in 'Maintenance Mode' which means no more major updates but only Bug fixes for the devices released much later ..

Make sure you read the system requirements. Also install Rosetta if you want Power PC applications to run.

Unable to install a software driver for Canon film scanner on mac OSX 10.6
I am unable to install a software driver for a Canon film scanner FS4000US. I have downloaded it from Canon then open the package click the install and it asks for a location namely the Applications folder. Then it says it has been installed re -start etc, but still no driver.
I am using Mac OS 10.6. Any suggestions greatly received. I have repaired/disk and permissions and it still does not work.Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

I have a WLC4402 currently running software version 4.2.207.0. With 802.11n just getting officially ratified I was wondering what is the "Cisco-recommended" software version for 802.11n? Should I stay at 4.2.207.0 or move up to 5.x/6.x? I have 1252 access points that are using 3560-E switches for ePoE (20w for powering both the 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz radios).
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to stay at version 4.2 if I could. Reason being is that 4.2.x has been very stable and reliable for me while I cannot say I have had the same experience with 5.x. If 4.2.x will support 802.11n then I will continue to use it. Being that the ratification was just announced a couple of weeks ago I didn't know if Cisco had version of software that they recommended for 802.11n deployments.

X220i wireless radio and hotkeys won't work after hibernation
