Installing & Using Elements 10
I installed Elements 10 back in the summer - but haven't had a chance to use it much. However, I use Win Vista - and it only installed disk 1. It seems fine, however - it seems to have very limited themes, clip art, etc. Years ago I used a copy of Photoshop that came with my old Gateway - and it had tons of that stuff included on other disks that I could access at any time. It also seemed more user-friendly - I could tell it I was creating a card, for instance - and it would walk me through - and again I had access to many more artwork themes, borders, etc. The old version even seemed to have a friendlier screen than the Elements 10. Hence the reason I purchased the Elements 10. So far I've been disappointed - now it could be because I've really only started to use it. But, is there access to additional themes, art, etc. on the other disks, or even online from Adobe for free that I can access when I need them? Ideally online it would be a place where I could scan through selections, like a list of other borders, and then download only the one I want at the time.

I have a packardbell laptop with photoshop elements 8 installed from new. I have used it on several occasions but I cannot get it to run now. The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.

I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check. -
I have a large projection system in our family room where I often show photos so I would like to use Elements 13 for providing the slide show. However, I use my office computer to do my of regular computer work and would like to also have Elements 13 installed on there as I learn how to use it and often organize my photos. Can I install a single purchased copy of the program on both computers?

I've installed Photoshop Elements 12 from a CD onto my PC laptop. I'm thinking about buying a tablet, so was wondering if (a) can I install on a 2nd device (b) can I use the serial number online as I won't beable to install from a CD, and (c) will I beable to choose a mac, after the initial was on a PC???? A single user license allows for having activated installations on two machines. An Elements license allows for either platform in many cases (recently not the case from what I've seen). If you have the disc, see if it contains the Mac installation files... if it does then you should be able to install them via a download as well. I cannot answer with certainty for the last question since it relies on the previous question. Personally, I would not let an inexpensive piece of software dictate an expensive hardware purchase decision.

Are you seeing this problem since first launch of PSE13 after installation or recently?
Please try:
Keep Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys pressed while launching PSE13 Editor and click OK on the dialog that comes next.

the problem stated that the internet is not connected, but that is not the case.I had the same issue and I'm running Windows 7. Tried working with technical support for several hours but they were no help. They just had me doing the same things over and over, offering no real answers. I finally got fed up and have decided to return my product for a full refund.

However, the real issue is why the program is not working. Did you install anything recently?
When you tried to re-install from the disk, did you shut off the antivirus program temporarily?
Have you tried a system restore to a point in time when the program was working properly? -
I cannot install Photoshop Elements 2.0 on the iMac I got last year. I have been using the PSElements on my PC OK. What should I do besides getting the latest PSElements?
I think PE 2 only worked as far OS 10.3 Panther. There is no alternative but to get the version that works on your 10.7 Lion Machine, which I think is PE 6 or higher.

Should I re-install Photoshop Elements 10 installed using wrong disk (Disk 1 32bit on a 64 bit CPU)?
I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 using Disc 1 for Windows 32 bit on a Windows 7 64 bit computer instead of using the correct Disk 2. Should I uninstall and re-install using Disc 2 in order to get the full benefits of the program, or does the Disk 1 software detect the correct operating system and install the correct version any way?
Unless you're also installing PRE (bundle) or the PRE trial (PSE only version), you're fine, since PSE is always 32 bits.

I have Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 installed on Windows XP 32 bit, Windows 7 64 bit, as well as Windows 8.1 (previously 8) and no problems.
Are you installing the program from installation files (purchased as a download to a Windows or Mac computer??) or from installation disc labelled for Windows?
After the program is installed, then you install the Premiere Elements 9.0.1 Update and work from it.
Adobe - Premiere Elements : For Windows : Premiere Elements 9.0.1 update
More details first before we go changing any compatibility settings.

I am using Windows XP and just installed Elements 12. When I try to select a different brush or shape the drop down list will not stay open long enough to select a different item. I have used Elements 9 for awhile and have not had this problem

It would appear that you are destined for the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum since your question is related to Photoshop Elements and not Premiere Elements which is the focus program where you have posted.
But, while the arrangements are being made, here are a few things for you to think about if you have not already
1. Reset Tools - Select Brush Tool, then
2. Delete Settings File
Go to Full Editor/Edit Menu/Preferences/General and click on the option "Reset Preferences on Next Launch".
