Installing web app on my iPhone`
Hi:
I am a little new to this.
I find the list of web apps for the iPhone and one I'm interested in...
BUT nothing tells me how to INSTALL it on my iPhone.
I have tried dragging and dropping into the iphone logo in iTunes...nothing.
I"ve tried finding an "install" option in iTunes, etc...nothing
I must be missing something very simple, but can't figure it out.
Any help would be much appreciated!

A web app is not installed on your iPhone.
It is an application that is accessed via a website so web app for short.
If you are referring to the list of available web apps provided at Apple's website, you select the web app and it loads with Safari.
You can create a web clip of the web app on your Home screen so by selecting the web clip icon, Safari will launch and go to the URL for the web app automatically.

I read on the apple web app support page that you can now download more apps into your home page. However, the vague instructions either do not work or the instructions were posted prematurely and I have something else to do first.
I a, told, in a nutshell, to go to the web app page on my phone then view the app and click on the plus sign and it will prompt me to add a button to my home page.
Uh Uh, that just does not happen. There is a bookmark prompt but no "add to home page on iphone".
When I go to my "about" settings my system version is 1.1.2. When checked, it tells me I have the latest version but is there not a 1.1.3 out there? How do I get it?True (as did I). Some have noticed that have USB 1.1 that prior syncs with iTunes 7.5 (or lower) seemed to have a lot of issues with freezeups. With 7.6 it is claimed that it works great with USB 1.1 now. So to just play it safe (especially if you have USB 1.1) upgrading iTunes to 7.6 really cannot hurt you. Plus it is iTunes 7.6 that allows manually mananging files with your iPhone with 1.1.3 on it...so you should want 7.6 anyhow. Not to mention if you want to be able to work with the new Retals feature of iTunes, you will need the update.

I deleted the pre-installed iPhoto app from my iPhone 5s by mistake. And I can't find the same app in the App Store. How do I recover it?
iPhoto for iOS is no longer being offered by Apple and has been replaced by the Photos app. It is not compatible with iOS 8. This Apple document may help: Migrating from iPhoto for iOS to Photos on iOS 8 - Apple Support

OK, So here's the case on my new iPhone.
A friend gifted me this app for my iPhone and it worked fine on my friends phone ( he downloaded it as well from my account and I authorized it temporarily so he could install it) but when I just tried to install the app on my iPhone, I kept getting an error, like I said in the title, either "Unable to download application (app name) could not be installed at this time" or on iTunes, I would get the error "unknown error 0xe000008" on iTunes, and the app would be un-launchable. I have tried many times to delete it and reinstall, I've tried tips from other users, disabling and re-enabling wifi, logging out and back in my Apple Store account, just about everything, even a fresh re-sync, does anybody have any ideas what to do, and what may be causing this?? This is seriously starting to frustrating me!

I installed an app on my iPhone and now all I get on the screen is an image of a USB cable with an arrow pointing to an iTunes logo. I cannot use my phone and if I turn it off, I just get the same image on the screen! I need my icons back!
What version of iTunes is on your computer? What version of OS X are you running? What type of Mac (and how old) do you have?

I installed the App" find my Iphone on my Ipad.. its working well.
But I also need to be able to track my Iphone if lost... I also have the app on my Iphone but when I click on it to find my phone it is showing me where my Ipad is... how can I get it to show my Iphone also? the chances of me losing my Ipad are less then my Iphone.But I need to be able to trac both.How was your wife using the Find My iPhone app from a Samsung phone? But, that question aside, your wife should educate herself on how GPS works, especially on a cell phone. GPS signals can be interfered with by trees, buildings, clouds. Off by several miles would be unusual, though.
If your wife is tracking your cell phone and not believing what you tell her, you may want to consider counseling as there are some very serious issues that go way beyond the technology.

Thx, I finally figure out what I had to do to get it to download, just don't like that it is taking so long to download on the iphone from computer. But thx again for that advice, so far it is working.

My IPOD is already synced to iTunes. My friend just acquired an iPhone and he wants to purchase an app through my iTunes. Can he use my iTunes to install the app to his iPhone without screwing up my IPOD information already on my iTunes? Also, how does he install ONLY that app on his iPhone without syncing my music also? I haven't done this before with just an app. Thanks.
Since you and your friend aren't married or in the same household (I assume you wouldn't have referred to this person as "my friend" otherwise), what you want to do is not permitted by the terms of use of the iTunes Store.
Your friend should create his own Apple ID. He can use your computer; just have him log into your computer with a user account you create just for him, not your own user account. Doing it that way is almost like having your friend use a different computer, since both Mac OS X and recent versions of Windows do a pretty good job of segregating the data of multiple user accounts.
He can then purchase the app using iTunes and sync it to his iPhone. When he's done, he should log out of your computer.
However, be aware that there is no reason to purchase an app using iTunes on a computer and to then sync it to the iPhone. Your friend can use the App Store app that's installed on the iPhone by default in order to download and install any app he likes from the iTunes App Store. -
How do I install an app. on my Iphone again ?
Yesterday I plugged my iphone to the pc, and it said I needed to upgrade it to ios 4.0. I did, and suddenly i pressed on something, and it deleted everything on my phone, including contacts and app.
So how do I install the app. I have bought on my phone again ???All 3rd party apps on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer if you had Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. With this selected for your iPhone sync preferences, after downloading an app with your iPhone the app will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so.
You can re-download 3rd party apps with iTunes on your computer and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally.
After re-downloading the apps with iTunes on your computer, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by selecting the apps below that you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.

HELP!! Getting An Error Message When Trying To Install An App on my iPhone
This is my first time downloading an app for my phone. I have created an Apple Id, and it will let me login on my laptop, but not on my phone. When I go to install a FREE app on my phone, it gives me this error message saying something like "Apple ID has not been used in the itunes store"..I've attached it below....
Then it tells me to review my payment info, I key it in and it gives me a link that leads me to support and it starts all over again. I don't know what's going on....all I want is to install a grocery list app to my iphone that's free, I've got a debit/credit card with the mastercard logo on it, could that be the problem. I Am currently having trouble with my iphone 5. After I update my iOs to 8.0.2 i can't update and install new apps on my phone it always on a "waiting mode". I already restore the setting and its works but after two days problem happened again. Pls help
Choose System Preferences from the Apple Menu.
Choose Software Update from the View menu.
Click Update Now.
Select the items you want to install, then click Install.
Enter an Admin user name and password.
After the update is complete, restart the computer if necessary. -

so:
Application files currently installed:
.\config\mydomain\applications\certificate.war

Despite this, the uploaded web app (in this case collab.war) does not
always display in the left pane under Web Applications.
What makes the difference between one that shows up in one place and
one that doesn't?

As per my reply to your previous posting, barring any platform issues you
may want to open a case with support. However, unless you can regularly
produce this (more importantly, if bea support can't reproduce this
in-house) then there may not be much we can do. What browser/version are
you using?

When you get an app from the App Store, it automatically downloads and installs. The installation process is not separate from the downloading process. I had to reset it to factory settings after upgrade. However it was so painful, I did it and the problem just solved.
