Installtion of Informatic Power Center 9.0.1 in Solaris Sprac 64 Bit

I want to know how to configure and which file required for Informatic Power Center 9.0.1 in Solaris Sprac 64 Bit setup.
Please help to how configure server and client in solaris sprac .

I have installed OBIEE version 11.1.6 and OBI APPS version 7.9.6.3. I am using informatica power center 9.0.1.

I have checked all of the Mappings, Mapplets and Workflows as well as generating parameters for attempting the load, but it still errors. Does anyone have any ideas?

Was the Workflow or the DAC task been modified. Because the Out-of box customer dimension task would look like:

Import from planning missing in Informatica power center

I'm using Informatica Power Center 8.1.sp5 , and trying to connect to hyperion planning 11.1.3.
Created the connection under application connection browser, but now when I go to target designer, I don't see Import From Plannig Option. Please let me know if anyone has seen this before. Thanks

Can I install IDQ 9.6.1 with Power center 9.5.1 HF4

Nope. The binaries are tightly bundled, you cannot install one without the other. The only alternative you may have is to install 9.6.1 in parallel to 9.5.1; under Unix/Linux that's easier to do than under Windows, but even under Windows this should be possible (because the Windows services installed by both versions have differing names). Hello, Currently I have installed informatica power center 9.5.1 HF4. I need to install IDQ 9.6.1. I did get the install for the IDQ9.6.1 but it came with the complete install with the power center 9.6.1 HF1. Is there a way to just install IDQ 9.6.1 and not the complete power center using the install file given. Thank you for your help in advance.

Need an efficient solution using Informatica Power center

Need an efficient solution using Informatica Power center-
I have a requirement-
1-I have a database which gets refreshed everyday.
2-I have a workflow which gets started only if the database gets refreshed.
So I have to design a workflow-- which will do the following things-
a- Checks if the database has been refreshed today or not(Not hard coding...as this workflow will run everyday to check that)
b- If the database has been refreshed then only start the workflow wf_XYZ
( SUGGESTION-may be after the session/task finds out that the db has been refreshed it can create a trigger file which will eventually start the next workflow) else can wait to get the db refreshed.

Just implement the change capture process to load new data.
That would take care of it, and you can relax.

45N1125 "health unavailable" error in Power Center on T440s

Hello,
I have run into a problem with 45N1125 batteries on the T440s. Somehow, Power Center is unable to read their health. I don't know if this happens on every machine or not, but it has happened on at least 8 so far in my own experience.
All I'm doing is a clean install of Windows 7 Pro. Then I run every driver and other software update imaginable via Lenovo Update Utility.
Simply put: Power Center shows "health unavailable" on 45N1125, so I've just been swapping that number out for 45N1127, which works fine.
What's the deal here? 45N1125s are listed as compatible with these machines. Why (apparently) aren't they?

As per the query we understood that you are facing the issue with battery on ThinkPad T440s.
Please check with uninstalling Power manager and Power management application from the system and check with updating it manually.

I am facing tough time finding Power Center Client in the above list.I hope Informatica PowerCenter and PowerConnect Adapters 9.1 relates to Informatica Server alone(Or) Does it include Client too? Can you please help me finding Informatica Client for 64 bit Windows.

hi, Informatica PowerCenter and PowerConnect Adapters 9.1 is a combined version with both server and client tools

Loading Hierarchies from Informatica Power Center

Hi Guys,
I am getting the error when I tried to load the Hierarchy from the Legacy system using Informatica Power Center. The structure of the data which is coming from the source system is in the same structure which we normally load it from the flat file.
NODEID | INFOOBJECT | NODENAME | LINK | PARENTID | LANGU | TXTSH | TXTMD | TXTLG
I was able to load the data from the flat file source system without any errors, but if I use 3rd party source system I am getting the follwoing error.
Node ID 00000080 has not been included in the hierarchy
Message no. RH207
Diagnosis
The node with the ID 00000020 and the node name ZMC is not specified as
child, next, or parent in any node in the hierarchy. It is also not a root node (parent ID is not equal to 0). Therefore, the node is not used in the hierarchy.
Procedure
Delete this node or insert the node into the hierarchy.
Anybody loaded the hierarchy from 3rd party systems into BW. Could some one tell us where we are missing something

Thanks for your reply. The problem is, system has to create the TLEVEL automatically if the hierarchy data is coming from the Informatica. If I download the same data and load it through the flat file, its working fine because for the flat file source systems TLEVEL is automatically creating by the system. We are planning to implement a custom solution.

The OBIA 7.9.6.4 requires Informatica Power Center 9.x, but Oracle has not provided the support end dates for the Informatica.

Can anyone help me finding the right key ?

Green Power Center +fan controll

Is there a way to have the settings adjust automaticly when Windows opens? Because if I need to decrease the fan speed to "Max Power Saving" I need to enter this software and do it manually every time I log into Win. Is there any other way to control the fan speed, or any other software for download?

Power Query Update 2.16.3785.242 (64-bit) has Corrupted Excel

The most recent update to Power Query has rendered Excel useless. Any use of the Ctrl key (copying, pasting, etc.) will cause Excel to crash and restart.
A co-worker had the same problem yesterday and we were perplexed in its origin, though it became clear the update was the source after updating this morning.
We need a fix ASAP!

Hi W. If you can still repro the crashes, can you please do the following to get a crash dump and then send it to us? (You can use the Send a Frown functionality on the working version of PQ.)
Edit the registry, open the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting and change the DWORD value ForceQueue to 1
Open %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue in Windows Explorer to monitor it
Reproduce the crash – at this point something should appear briefly in the ReportQueue folder
