Instant Messaging HIDDEN in the Help folder on N86...

I have just found the IM (instant messaging) application in the Help folder on the N86. The odd thing is that it is not an "application" per se. In the help folder, one searches for "instant"; then a collection of Instant Message help topics appear. By clicking any one, following by clicking the "IM" icon, the application is launched. One can create an identity, select a server, user name, etc. Hence, one can use the phone for instant messaging. But there is no application from which to launch this in the 'Application' folder. Nor is there any documentation in the extended users' manual that is located at Nokia website or the manual bundled with the phone: at least I cannot find any documentation. Has anyone discovered this? If so, am I missing something?

I am running Thunderbird version 33.1 Recently, when sending e-mail, I get an error message indicating that the sent folder is full and that I should empty or compress it to fix the problem-- so I emptied it-- problem remains. Also, there is no record of sending the e-mail in the sent folder, even though the mail has been sent. No such problems occur when I send mail to myself.
Any suggestions ???If you deleted some of the messages you have done one half of the process. Deleting a message just marks it for deletion and hides it from view. You have to COMPACT the folder to actually delete the messages and free up the space.
I agree that Thunderbird did a poor job naming this process because it is the subject of much misunderstanding.

I had 8 or 10 messages in the drafts folder. I had Thunderbird open when my isp had equipment problems and suddenly went off line on February 19, 2015. When it came back online the next morning all those drafts were gone. Is there some way I can retrieve them? If so, please send directions on how to do it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

[email protected]The top folder was Local Folders with Inbox, Sent Mail, Drafts, Trash and Archives under it. I had several messages in Archives and they went away when the Drafts messages went. Actually the only folder that wasn't emptied was the inbox. Those messages re-downloaded from the web mail.
What I understand from what you've written is that unless something was done when the mail account was set up, all my mail was on att/yahoo mail and they're the ones that lost my drafts.
If I'm wrong about it being an IMAP account and it was really POP, would that make a difference?

Can't Instant Message Certain People - Please help
I am unable to IM two people on my buddylist. When they IM me it says I have an IM but nothing pops up. When I click the window tab- it shows a few screen names. Now when I got to click those certain screen names on my buddy list to have a conversation- nothing pops up. These people are not blocked, although I have tried blocking and unblocking them to see if it had any affect. The only way I can communicate is by inviting them into a chatroom. Also files can't be sent between me and these people.
I've already uninstalled and reinstalled iChat.

Sent messages only appear in the sent folder after restarting Thunderbird
Hi, my problem is that sent messages do not appear in the sent folder unless I restart Thunderbird. I have the sent 'copies' box de-checked as if not although it syncs I end up with two copies (of sent messages).
I am using Thunderbird 31.2.0 on OSX Yosemite connecting via IMAP to ZOHO mail with STARTTLS on 587 for SMTP.
Hope you can advise, I've tried SSL/TLS on 465 also and it is the same. It's a bit of an inconvenience not being able to view the sent messages.
Many thanksInteresting to know (the RFC violation) but as you say, perhaps not relevant as such, although if ZOHO wasn't auto-placing a copy in sent then I could check the 'place a copy in' option and it would work ok.
Anyhow, I tried your recommendations and yes, I use both an Android and an iPad to also check my mail but with both disconnected from Wi-Fi the problem still persists. There are a few warnings being reported in the TB error console on the Mac but they just relate to 'mso-table-lspace' for my INBOX.
And for info in Thunderbird on my Ubuntu laptop the problem is exactly the same -
'Place a copy' checked - Messages instantly appear in the sent folder but there are two copies.
'Place a copy' de-checked/Cached connections = 5 - Messages only appear in the sent folder after restarting Thunderbird
'Place a copy' de-checked/Cached connections = 1 - Messages appear in the sent folder on clicking out of the folder and back in.
On Ubuntu there is nothing at all in the error console.
I can work with how things are at this stage as I don't live in the sent folder (rather the inbox), and when you click into it (with the connections cache at 1) the messages do appear, so I suppose that's actually ok. -
How to delete the messages in the purges folder?
if the mailbox is enabled the single item recovery, then the messages would move from deletion folder to the purges folder After running the following script,

As the mailbox is enabled single item recovery.
I just want to make the items neither in deletion folder, nor in purges folder.
So I think there are two ways to achieve this.
Method 1,disabled the single item recovery. then delete the items in deletion folder ,so it wouldn't enter to the purges folder, it just deleted permanently. then enable the single item recovery
Method 2,delete the items in deletion folder,then the messages move to the purges folder, then delete the messages in purges folder.
the Method 1 is not so good ,as it need to disable the single item recovery firstly, then enable single item recovery .
So I want to use the Method 2

Have been running on a Dell PC (Win 8.1) for the past year or so. So far have had no issues with Thunderbird (latest release) until today (4/4/2015). For some unknown reason my PC "action center" suggested that I should scan the "C" drive for potential problems. It should be noted that I was unaware of any system problems prior to this message and I have no idea what the potential problems were. So, as a rooky with computers I followed the rules and scanned the drive as suggested.
The scan took about 20 minutes to complete followed by a normal start-up. All was well, except when I opened up Thunderbird Email, I observed that all files/messages (an estimated 1000) in the sent folder had been removed. All other folders within TB Email appear to be normal and I can send new Emails and receive same OK.
A test Email worked fine with the sent file/message going to the sent folder.
Is there anyway in which to recover the lost sent files/messages and why would the scanning of the "C" drive create this problem?
Please provide the procedures to recover same at your earliest.

Possibly the file system had a problem which got corrected by the scan, and unfortunately the problem did affect your Sent folder.
Do you have a backup of your Thunderbird profile you can restore?

How to make a copy of the IMAP Sent messages when the Sent folder file can not be found?
My Thunderbird works fine. I can also see messages sent in the Sent folder but I wonder are the sent messages only saved in the IMAP server. For the backup purposes I would like to copy the file of the Sent folder but I can not find a local file for it.

That is because they are not stored on your computer they are stored on the server. The Sent.msf file is just an indexing file and does not store emails.

These subscribed folders have been synchronised to get a local copy onto your computer in your Thunderbird profile folder.
You need to do the same with the 'Sent folder.

then go into 'offline' mode to stop further synchronising.
Then you can right click on selected emails and save as .eml files in a folder external to Thunderbird.
You can also copy or move emails into a suitable folder in Local Folders. These folders keep emails on your computer, they are not modified by the server, they do not synchronise with any IMAP mail account. -

During the installation I faced no error messages and the implementation runs without error logs. Unfortunately, the instant messaging does not work. I see the CLP, but the "auto-detect status" is malfunctioning. Online users are shown as offline. Trying to send an instant message there is happening nothing. I did the configurations for the instant messaging as described at help.sap.com:
1) Displaying the Collaboration Link in the Portal Header Area: OK
2) Configuring Collaboration Services in Collaboration Launch Pad: OK
3) Activating the RTC Session Manager: OK
4) Configure the Groupware Framework: Is Not Used and therefore not configured

I have an unlocked AT&T Treo 680 that I am using on t-mobile. I have the AT&T 2.11 software already installed on the device but I have not been able to connect to instant messaging and receive the internal error 500 code.

Cannot connect to instant messaging apps
My batterey recently lost power on my Curve 9300 and since I have recharged it, it will not let me access any of the instant messaging apps such as yahoo messenger, MSN or AIM. The apps are there but when I try to login it never gets past the "Connecting to Yahoo!" stage ~ I have uninstalled and reinstalled, adjusted firewall and encryption and rebooted but nothing seems to work. My internet access is fine, just accessing the instant message apps is the problem ~ if anyone can help I would be very grateful.

DW help folder is missing?
When I click on 'Help' in DWCS6, it tells me the help system cannot be launched because the help folder is missing. Then ' Please install the help folder or reinstall Dreamweaver'. Previously I could view Help online, now it has gone missing. Is this another example of CC enhancements, designed to make life as difficult as possible for anyone not wanting to subscribe to Adobe's new meal ticket?
As an aside, I see I have ended up with a Creative Cloud App on my W8 desktop, apparently installed by stealth when I checked for CS6 updates and a new version of Adobe Update Manager was installed.
Back to the question - is it still possible to download a copy of the help folder, without going to the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling DWCS6?
