Instruction for running proscenium in flash prof CS 5.5

Is there any tutorial/intruction on how to run proscenium in flash profressional CS 5.5?
I installed FP 11 but can't seem to configure CS 5.5 to use FP 11 and prosecnium proplery to compile the sample code.

The following article describes how to make CS5.5 use AIR 3.0 (instead of AIR 2.6). After following the steps  in the article you will find that AIR still appears as if you were publishing for AIR 2.6, but it is really publishing for 3.0.
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/908/cpsid_90810.html
Please read the disclaimer though. Adobe doesn't provide any support for this method of "updating" Flash CS5.5. But I can say I've followed the instructions carefully and that it works fine.
There is also this article - but instead of using the release candidates referred to in the article, use the actual Adobe releases instead:
http://priyeshsheth.wordpress.com/2011/10/05/how-to-use-flash-player-11-air-3-with-flash-p rofessional-cs5-5/
Addendum:
Under Windows I was able to get Flash CS5.5 to target both AIR 3.0 and FlashPlayer 11 using the above methods. However previewing in Flash CS5.5 doesn't work, as it is using some other flash player for the preview. The published swf file is, however, fine. There may be a way to change what player Flash CS5.5 uses but I haven't pursued how to do that. If using Windows, an alternative is to use FlashDevelop, where you can specify the player you want to use.

Happens when going to print.coupons.com. I click the "learn more" button on the message that the plugin has crashed, and I get sent to the Adobe Flash plugin crash info page on Firefox. They say just to reload the page. There is a button for this. I click it and the page tries to reload for 5 minutes before freezing.

  • Additional Instructions for Creating USB Installation Media

    Greeting Everyone,
I have been trying to install archlinux on my Acer c720 chromebook.  The instructions have been posted on one of the forums and I have been following them and ran into a bit of a problem.  For some mysterious reason using Syslinux as the bootloader (I think I got that right) puts the C720 into reboot immediately.  The forums indicate that I should use GRUB instead of Syslinux.  Great! That is exactly what I want to do, and here is the problem:
The instructions for creating the USB Flash Installation Media give step by step instructions for getting archlinux.iso and Syslinux on to the USB memory stick - which I followed and succeeded- but no instructions on how to put GRUB on there instead of Syslinux.
Could someone give me instructions on how to do that.
I am following the "Manual Formatting" --- "In Windows" section of the wiki titled "USB Flash Installation Media."
Just so everyone knows this is my first venture into linux world and away from point and click windows world.....

    Steef435 wrote:
Those instructions are about the installation(about what you choose to install on your harddisk). So they aren't important yet if you haven't managed to boot up the usb drive. What three images did you try? You should get the image from here:
    https://www.archlinux.org/download/
Did you try booting the drive on other machines and how did that go? Did you go through all the instructions described in the wiki(enabling developer mode and enabling legacy boot) and did you get to the boot menu?
Were you able to select the usb drive in the boot menu?
On a side-note, I don't have a Chromebook so I'm not able to confirm the instructions on how to enable developer mode etc.
Yes I used the following images from archlinux.org:
    archlinux-2013.10.01-dual.iso
    archlinux-2014.01.05-dual.iso
and the third was from a random selection from the drop down menu in LiLi USB creator.
Yes I have followed the instructions from the installation wiki and was able to get the developer mode and to the boot menu on the c720 and able to select USB to boot from.
As I mentioned earlier I had success using the method for creating a USB Installation in the wiki (under  "Using manual formatting", "In Windows" https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/US … tion_Media ) I was able to get the archlinux splash screen and it tries to install but resets.  And I figured out that this happens because following the instructions I end up with archlinux and Syslinux on the USB and I need arclinux and GRUB.
Hence my request for additional instructions for getting archlinux and GRUB onto a USB for installation.
I will try the USB installation created using LiLi on a different computer - it is much older though and I am not sure it has enough memory for it.

Need instructions for downloading/installing Flash Player in my PC

Hi, This is the Adobe Flash Player Uninstall link:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
This is the Adobe Troubleshooting Guide which you may want also to review. I would suggest using the Manual Installers which you can download and SAVE to your Desktop. Pay attention to any apps using Flash, you may need to Disable any Anti-Virus. Be sure to use the Administrator Account and check Settings. Be sure to Reboot after running the Uninstaller and also after Installing.

  • Install instructions for CS6 upgrade for WIndows missing - in what order should files be run?

After over 14 days of dealing with the idiots at Adobe Support, opening and closing of 2 cases multiple times, promised emails not being sent (and being blamed for having my email set up to filter out Adobe emails), attempts to charge me for the already approved "free" upgrade, and then having an order for a physical disk version of the CS6 upgrade cancelled by some bonehead, I finally was able to download the CS6 upgrade files.  Only to discover that there are no installation instructions for Windows if you did not use the Akamai download manager (which I did not).
There are a total of 6 files in the download directory, all downloaded from the CS6 upgrade download page.
    - In what order should the files be run?  Just run the .exe files, or do some files need to be extracted/unzipped first?
A second question: my CS5.5 version was never installed, and never registered.
    - Will the CS6 upgrade accept its serial number directly, or do I have to do something else through Adobe Support?

Which files: all of them on the CS6 Production Premium upgrade download page.

    PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.exe

    The last one is useless.
The Speech Analyzer Models were downloaded separately, from another page.  I assume they should be installed after everything else is installed and working.

It all started when itried to update flash player as recommended, I havnt been able to download the update because i dont understand the instructions. The instruction appear on Adobe's site that firefox links too. The instructions say that firefox wont allow the download unless allowed. I go to instructions for adding Adobe to the list of approved sites and the very first step 1 of the instruction talk about locating a u yellow bar "at the top (the top of what?) that apparently says "edit options:" in it. I see no yellow bar The direction seem incomplete or they begin somewhere in the middle of the steps i need to take. This shoild be easy. Will loading flash player stablize my system?

The instructions on the Adobe site are outdated and do no longer apply to current Firefox versions and you can ignore those instructions and save the Adobe installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that file.

  • Where are _correct_ directions for installing the Adobe Flash Reader plug-in

There are directions for installing Adobe Flash Player in its new Firefox incarnation as a plug-in rather than its old incarnation as a stand-alone program. Unfortunately, the directions are not for the current versions of either Firefox or Adobe Flash Player, and not only don't work, but don't even make sense. Are there _correct_ directions somewhere that will let a reasonably naive user install this plugin? • Basic instructions for installing Air?

    Hi
I'm use Flash CS5, and want to learn Air.
    I installed Air 2.5.
Do I need to istall the SDK?  If so, where do I put it, and how do I set it up?
What is the difference between the runtime and sdk?
    Thanks for your help.
    Shaun

    Hi Shaun,
Thanks for showing interest in AIR 2.5.  To start, it sounds like you've installed the AIR 2.5 runtime, which by itself will let you install and run AIR applications on your computer.  To start developing, you'll need to get the latest SDK.  You can grab a copy of this for Flash CS5 here:
Adobe Flash Professional CS5 Extension for AIR 2.5
There are instructions for installing at the bottom of the page, along with a link to the beta forum.  I'd also like to encourage you to check out the Adobe AIR Quick Starts for Flash Developers, the video tutorial series Designing an AIR Application, and the pdf Developing Adobe AIR 1.5 Applications With Adobe Flash CS4 Professional.  While the video series and the pdf are a bit dated, they still contain great information and you can information on the latest 2.5 API's on our Adobe AIR Developer site.
    Hope this helps,
    Chris

  • Installation instructions for .tar.gz a weird fantasy?

On Linux (Debian Lenny) the installation instructions for the *installer*.tar.gz download file say:
    Unpack file.
Navigate into directory or folder created.
    Run install program.
But no directory created; no install program - what the hell is going on??
What you get is a single *.so file.  What do you do with it?
I got it to work in the past, but perhaps by a different method.  So the system can do it.  Thanks any help.

    Worked it out:
    apt-get purge anon-proxy
(this program seems to be the problem??)
Then did, do not know if necessary:
    export HTTP_PROXY=
    export http_proxy=
(To loose these environment variables if they are present, I assume.)
    wget -O - http://backports.org/debian/archive.key | apt-key add -
(This is the step that would not work before.  It worked alright now.)
    apt-get install --reinstall --purge flashplugin-nonfree
(Simply installs the adobe flash player into iceape, presumably.)
Look - this is sinister:  Why do the install instructions bear no relation to any sort of reality?  Are the microsoft dirt up to something?

  • Step by Step Instructions for Installing Self Signed Certificate using Certificate Modification Tool

I am looking for some step by step instructions for installing the self signed certificate from my Microsoft SBS 2003 server on a Treo 755p and 750p.  In particular I need some help with the form of the actual certificate and how to use the Certificate Modification tool.
Some questions I have are as follows:
    1. When I install the certificate on a Windows Mobile device I used an exported version of the certificate.  This export is done using the DER x.509 format.  Is that the same form I’ll need for the Palm?  Do I need some other form? Can/should I just use sbscert.cer file that is generated when SBS is configured?
    2. Does the self signed cert need to be installed on the computer being used to update the Palm or do we just need to be able to access the appropriate .CER file?
    3. There are three things included in the PalmCertificatesTool.zip file:
                                    Trusted CAs (folder)
                                    Cert2pdb.exe
                                    PalmCertificates.exe
How do I use these tools?
    4. It looks like the PalmCertificates.exe file opens an interface that will allow me to browse to the desired .CER file.  Then I suppose I use the < Generate PDB > to create something that needs to then be uploaded to the Palm device?  Not having any real experience with a Palm device how do I upload and install this file?
    5. Once uploaded do I do something on the device to install it?
If there is some white paper that provides step by step instructions on doing this that would be great.
    Thanks,
    Walt Bell

    Thanks for that.
I have one question after reading the article 43375:
The article has you "Turn of AutoSync" and then "Reset the device".  It then indicates the device should be left idle.
The next step relates to running the PalmCertificates.exe, navigate to the certificate file and add it and then run the < Generate PDB > button.  Should the device be connected to the computer during this process? If so, at what point after the reset do you connect it to the computer?
    Thanks!

    Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
         1. Install the Apple Boot Camp software.  Purchase Windows
XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7.  For Boot Camp
4.0 and above you can only use Windows 7 or later. Follow
instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on
installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and
installing Windows.  Boot Camp enables you to boot the
computer into OS X or Windows.
         2. Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business,
Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7.  Parallels is software
virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently
             with OS X.
         3. VM Fusion and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate,
or Windows 7.  VM Fusion is software virtualization that
enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
         4. CrossOver which enables running many Windows
applications without having to install Windows.  The
Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
         5. VirtualBox is an Open Source freeware virtual machine such
as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris.
It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM
             Fusion.
Note that VirtualBox, Parallels, and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc.  There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization.  The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech Labs- Virtualization Benchmarks, January 2013 | MacTech for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Benchmarks of all of the above except Crossover can be found in Benchmarking Parallels, Fusion, and VirtualBox Against Boot Camp - The Mac Observer. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or later. Except for Crossover and a couple of similar alternatives like DarWine you must have a valid installer disc for Windows.
You must also have an internal optical drive for installing Windows. Windows cannot be installed from an external optical drive.

  • Error in the instructions for performing a silent install

There's an error in the instructions for performing a silent install of Photoshop Elements:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/silent-install-instructions-photoshop-element s-1.html
In step 9, the instructions say to use the following command line:
    start /wait "path to Setup.exe" /UL%LangCode% /V“SERIALNUMBER=%AOO volume license serial number%"
The correct command line, however, is this:
    start /wait "path to Setup.exe" /UL%LangCode% /V"SERIALNUMBER=%AOO volume license serial number%"
See the difference? Look closely at the character after the /V. In the instructions on the website, they put in a "curly quote" character. This obviously needs to be a straight quote.
Interestingly enough, the erroneous command line from the web site will actually work just fine as posted if all you are passing in the /V is the serial number. If, however, you wanted to add a "NODESKTOPICON=1" to disable the creation of a desktop shortcut, for example:
    start /wait "path to Setup.exe" /UL%LangCode% /V“SERIALNUMBER=%AOO volume license serial number% NODESKTOPICON=1"
then it fails to run silently.
I post this in the hopes that Adobe will fix the typo in their instructions and save other admins the hours of grief I've been put through today trying to get this working.

Check the response file where you define the SGA memory size for the new database.
You can also choose not to create the database at the installation and do it afterwards, making a specific response file for it. (I'd recommend specially this option. like that you can separate possible installation errors with the ones on the DB creation process).
    Good luck.

I have a G5 1.8 with 3GB RAM; 80/160 internal SATA drives (the 160gb hd has 2 partitions and one with nothing on it) as well as a Lacie external 320 GB firewire drive. The empty partition on the 160gb drive has been created for Linux (if it ever gets installed).
I need to know where I can get a copy (I dont have a preference for any type yet-whatever works for a computer that is just used by me- as I just want to get started); How specifically to install it (I dont know anything about linux except I have heard about it's ease of use and how anyone can install it-except me it seems-I literally don't have a clue how to do it). Please leave out the geek speak (lol or at least just make it understandable for a someone who's pretty much a 'non-geek').

    Hi-
There are a few choices for Linux, but there are some peculiarities when it comes to PPC Macs.
I'll give you this article on Ubuntu Linux which has some general discussion.
Anyhow, Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) may be a good version. Check Here.
For Ubuntu, download the software and burn to CD.
Insert the CD into the computer, and, after opening, there should be a screen asking you whether or not you want to run the Live CD. Select Live CD. After loading, the default Ubuntu desktop will show. Once you get to the desktop, select the icon for the full installation of Ubuntu.
Note that you need to install Ubuntu on the primary system disk.
Might have a look at Debian. Complete instructions for installation are Here.
