Insufficient memory 6230

i keep on getting insufficient memory when i try to transfer music to my 6230. i know that i have about 29Mb memory free. why do i keep getting this message??? please help

My guess is you're transferring the files to phone memory not card memory - the 29MB will fill up real fast when you do that
With your phone connected start music manager/transfer music, and go to:
options .. settings
And select the last tab which is probably called 6230.
There should be an option called something like "path to music files on Nokia 6230". Click the "Browse" button and select:
E:\Sounds\Digital
Next time you send music to the phone it will be written to the card.

  • Data Federator:  Insufficient memory : Operator 'HashJoin' cannot execute

    Hi,
I'm using: SAP BusinessObjects Data Federator Designer XI 3.0 Service Pack 3 - 12.3.0.0 (Build 1011241842)
I have a virtual view on top of sql server 2007 and teradata.  I am using a view on sql server 2007 that joins against several tables and querying a single table from Teradata.
When I try to query the view I get the error:  [Data Federator Driver] [Server] Insufficient memory : Operator 'HashJoin' cannot execute because it cannot allocate the minimal number of memory pages. Please contact the system administrator to change system parameter settings. (0)
This happens when I try to query the view from data federator or from an odbc connection.
I tried playing with the configuration settings for core.queryEngine.hash.maxPartitions  and
core.queryEngine.hashJoin.nbPartitions  and nothing seemed to work in terms of changing/increasing the numbers.  The help guide also gave no help:  http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexi3SP3/en/xi3_sp3_df_userguide_en.pdf
I was using a very similiar query against a materialized view on Oracle and Teradata before and that worked.  But I'd prefer not to have to materialize the view in Sql Server.
Any thoughts as to how this can be fixed?
    Thanks,
    Kerby

    This means
    - verify whether the local administrator is in the ora_dba group and sqlnet.authentication_services in sqlnet.ora has been set to (NTS)
    - in absence of these, there should a password file be present in %ORACLE_HOME%\database, named pw%SID%.ora

  • Why do I get "Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program" in SQL Service Report Services

    Hi fellas,
I'm facing some serious issues with SSRS. I've tried to create a map report in SQL server reporting service 2008R2. I've insert a map using ESRI shapefile and connected it to my Dataset. Everything seemed to be fine up until I've tried to preview the results
    and I got this:
I've tried to resolve the problem by increasing the "MaximumTotalPc", but then I got this:
Ever since this happened my SSRS is acting like it has gotten a virus. I've tried to delete the report, but it doesn't let me and the window I've posted above keeps on popping up every few seconds while the program is open.
Any idea why do I get it and how can I deal with it?
P.S. I'm not any kind of developer and I'm not really familiar with the technical language. I need an explanation written in user friendly language, please :-)

    Hi Ellie55,
According to your description that you are experiencing the issue when you are creating the ESRI shapefile map on the SSRS 2008 R2, you got some error “the number of map point elements for “Map1” exceeds the maximum limits for map” when you click  to
preview the map, you trying to set the properties of “MaximumTotalPointCount” to fix this issue but cause another error about the “insufficient memory”, right?
By default, a map can have 20,000 map elements or 1,000,000 points. If your map exceeds these limits, you can increase the MaximumTotalPointCount and the MaximumSpatialElementCount, but it may cause the insufficient memory because of the too much points
and elements. So I recommend you that you can use one of the following approaches for you have got problem increase the limitations:
    Remove a layer.
    Decrease the map resolution.
Decrease the map viewport coordinates to view a smaller area.
If the spatial data comes from a report dataset, set a filter to limit the data from the dataset. The filter must be set on a field that is not a spatial data type.
If the spatial data comes from a SQL Server database, change the query to use spatial functions to limit the data to a smaller area.

As you this error also caused you can’t delete the report, please try to close the program in the task manager and find the path of project in your computer to delete the .rdl file in your workspace and redesign the map again.
Any problem, please feel free to ask

  • BODI - Job Error " blank message, possibly due to insufficient memory

Ending up with below error while executing a DI job. The job uses a file of size 37 MB as source. As the error looks something related to memory. I have tried splitting up the input file into and executed the job. The job completed successfully without any error.
Could someone help me out to find any memory setting which needs to be investigated in the dataflow level to get a permanent solution for it.

    Hi,
loading a 37MB file shouldnt be a problem without splitting it. i´ve loaded GB size flatfiles without problems.
Did you checked the error.txt as stated in the message? Whats in there.
If you split the file and you can load it, you have enough space in your DB.
Please check the memory utilization of your server during executing the job with one file. Maybe the Server is too busy...what would be strange with a 37MB file.

    -Seb.

  • I upgraded my iBook G4 from 384MBytes to 640Mbytes and upgraded from Tiger to Leopard. After a few weeks the HDD failed. New Leopard install reports: "insufficient memory". I need Tiger install disks so I can install

I upgraded my iBook G4 from 384MBytes to 640Mbytes and upgraded from Tiger to Leopard.
After a few weeks the HDD failed. I bought a new disk, installed it and trued to install Leopard, but the  install fails reporting "insufficient memory".
I assume the installation requires more memory than the OS actually needs to be able to run.
I need Tiger install CD/DVD so I can install Tiger first and then upgrade to Leopard.

Call Apple Customer Support 1-800-767-2775, provide the Serial Number and specifications of the Mac, and for a reasonable fee, they will supply a replacement set of system discs (if available).
The discs will be for the original version of the OS that was pre-installed when the Mac was manufactured.
You need much more RAM than that.

  • Why is my ipod touch saying there is insufficient memory to take a picture or download a new app, even after I have deleted lots of pictures and apps?

My ipod touch memory doesn't seem to be working correctly.  I tried to take a photo and it said there was insufficient memory.  I deleted all my pictures but it still said the same.  I cannot take pictures or download any apps or the latest systme update despite having now deleted several apps and all my photos.

    - Try a reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Connect the iPod to the computer and sync
    - Next, click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes. How much storage is used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargraph? How much is used by "other".
    - Sometimes when you delete items and do other things files get put in the "other"category and use up storage. If the "other" is >0.75 GB or so then restore the iPod.

  • Database msdb cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space - in recovery pending status

came in this fine monday morning and it looks like developers were running some kind of trace that filled the primary DATA folder with about 80,000 5mb trace files.  now that process has stopped and the logfiles have been cleaned up, but when attempting to connect to the server using the management console i get the error:
Database 'msdb' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space.  See the SQL Server errorlog for details. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)
when i check the status it is in recovery pending mode.  i have a backup from yesterday but im not sure if this database became corrupt before that backup or not because this process was ongoing over the weekend.  the last timestamp on the msdb and log files is 7am this morning..
I am not sure how to proceed recovering the msdb database with limiting interruption to the users.  any advice is extremely appreciated.  this is sql server 2008.  i can login via sqlcmd and see it is in recovery pending status:

    3> go

For someone experiencing a similar problem this answer is unacceptable. You're basically telling me to reboot the server to fix this.  You vaguely mention using process explorer to find out who is using the file.  Can you please provide
some more information on that?  I have a similar problem and rebooting the server to fix it is not an option.  This problem keeps reoccurring.
OS Error 32 means file has an open handle by someone else. If that is a user process then you can catch it via Process Explorer. If it's a kernel mode object then it's difficult to catch that and restart is the only choice.

  • Why am I getting an insufficient memory error in Illustrator?

I am getting an insufficient memory message on my illustrator program when I try to work on a particular document.
I remember long ago when I used to install my programs on my Mac there were memory settings for the graphics programs.
Does the pc work the same way? I am really at a loss as to why this error is coming up. In 5 years of working in Illustrator on the pc here, I have not gotten this message before now.
Now I get a new laptop and suddenly I get these errors. I am using Adobe Illustrator CS4 14.0.0 on a new Dell Inspiron 6400 running Windows XP with the latest service pack and patches.
Is there a memory setting in the application I should be looking at?
    Steve

you didn't mention about the job size do  u working on small scale and about how much ram you are using currently, mostly these type of errors occurs when you are mutitasking and working on big file sizes in illustrator

  • Trying to update my GPS app i get an insufficient memory memory which is not true.  I cannot seem to reinstall it; getting same message.  Advise?

Trying to update my GPS app I get a false message sying I have insufficient memory.  I tried deleting the app to reinstall it but seemslike it si trying to charge me again.  At any rate, why, with sufficient memory will it never update this app without reinstalling it?  (I may be off one OS number)

You will need 3 to 5 times the app size in free space during the app's installation.  Once the install is complete, you can reuse that free space.  If I have to update a big app like Navigon or TomTom, I remove my music videos or a movie or two.  After the app is installed, I can sync again to replace the items I removed.
If you are trying to download the app again from the app store, you have to click the "Buy" button and you will get a message about your credit card being charged, but when you continue, you'll get the opportunity to download the app again without charge.  This explains how the priocess works and shows you the screens you will see:

ramdisk device creation failed sue to insufficient memory.
And on the windows boot manger screen they mentioned to :-
inset my windows installation dis and restart my PC.
    click “repair your computer”
but not sure if this will fix the problem , baring in mind that the RAM assigned to the VM

  • 10.2.6 I can't get the update because I "Have insufficient memory"

Hey, I got this Mac used and I don't know much about Macs, but I do know I have about 15 Gigs of memory, and it won't let me install the update from 10.2.6 to 10.2.8 because it says I have insufficient memory. I've had this problem with other programs as well. Any ideas?

Tough call, but here's a basic maintenance tip which might or might not
    help out...
First, to repair the main drive:
    1) Boot your mac into single user mode by holding down command-S while you boot.
    2) At the prompt type: fsck -fy <hit return>
    3) If it find any errors and fixes them, run it again until it doesn't.
    4) Type: reboot <hit return>
Also, I highly recommend you upgrade that computer to 10.3. It'll run faster and smoother on that machine. You could probably find a copy on ebay without breaking the bank. You could try 10.4 too, but I'd recommend more RAM for that. That said, you might want a bit more RAM anyway.
I mention the upgrade because installing it (using the Archive/Install option) will probably clear up system bugs like that and it's worth it for the improved system.

  • Insufficient Memory

Hey! Our Editor is getting this error:
"Insufficient Memory. Specify a smaller recording range, quit any unused application and install more system RAM."
.. when trying to use the Voice Over Tool. She has a 2.5ghz G5 PowerMac, 4GB DDR SDRAM. We're running FCP 5.1.2 and OS 10.4.8. What could be causing this? We're also getting an 'out of memory' error every once in a while, but we figure it's cuz she has too many projects open at once.
    Any suggestions?
    Fraser

Thanks for the responce. It got us thinking s'more. Answers...
    1) No. It happenes various times during the day, and the project and program are usually loaded first thing and they use the VO during the day.
    2) We have three 1.5 Terra drives and we have like 40 gig avail. on the computers HD
    3) Activity mon. is usually around 60% or so, then when she uses it, obviously it jumps to 100%
    4) the only things that are open, are links to our Editshare, and a public server for looking at DPRs/transcriptions, etc.
Is there a way to check if all the RAM is being used? Or if it's skipping over a RAM stick? We're thinking that maybe its not registering the other RAM even tho the 'about this mac' says it has 4.0 gigs. Any other suggestions?

  • Insufficient memory error while installing JRE 1.2.2

At the moment I am having some problems installing JRE 1.2.2 on a HP proliant DL380 G3 machine (with two XEON 2.8Gb processors) with windows 2000 SP 3 installed. The error is Insufficient memory available to run setup. Close any programs.. bla bla. Error 111. While the machine has 4Gb of memory installed and only 200mb is in use.
I have tried 1.2.2.011 (Pentium 4 bug solved) and 1.2.2.014, both with the same result. Unfortunaly I need the 1.2.2 and cant switch to version 1.3 or 1.4.
PS I also experienced almost the same problem while installing Oracle 8.1.7 on the same machine. And solved this by renaming symcjit.dll to symcjit.old and use the next installation options : JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=-nojit -ms64m -mx128m
Has anyone seen this problem and solved it or is there any way to give some additional options to the JRE installer?
    Thanks in advance,
    Frank Zomerdijk

    I found a bug report at: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4643265.html
    And there by the "work a round";
In order to install j2ee onto your server (with 4Gb or more) you might use one of those:
    1) Pull some DIMMs out of your server till the memory is less
than 4g. Install j2ee and than put the DIMMs back.
    2) Install j2ee on the other machine and than just copy
installed directories over to your server.
I will test the second option tomorrow.
