Hi Peter,
PeterSteiner wrote:
*"Insuficient security privilege to load module.Agent in remote server contex"*This has nothing to do with the security of the root user you're logging in as. Every Agent you install shares security with a single SunMC Server: although out-of-the-box it's visible (read-only) to other SunMC Servers. What that error message is telling you is that the Agent thinks the Server you logged into (i.e. from the Java Console or web interface) isn't the same primary Server the Agent shares security keys with. So it gives you read-only access... so you can see the existing modules but not load new ones.
Look at the "Info" tab for that Agent in the Console. There's trap and event sections. Those sections show the hostname/IP that the Agent thinks is its primary Server. You likely logged into the wrong Server (if you have more than one) or the Agent is configured incorrectly.
If the Agent is pointing to the wrong hostname/IP as its server you can re-run setup on that Agent, or edit the trap+event sections of the /var/opt/SUNWsymon/cfg/domain-config.x file and reseed/restart.

  • (SunMC agent: Mx000)Insufficient security privilege to load console info!!!

    I create a user "smcuser" on SMC server, it is in group "platadmn" and "dom0adm",
    In SMC console, it can monitor a M4000 agent, but it cannot monitor M5000 agent.
    PS: i have created "smcuser" on XSCF of M4000/M5000 server.
    When i click "Platform View", there is a error info "Insufficient security privilege to load console info!!!"

    This is usually caused by incorrectly seeding the agents or when a user does not have the appropriate access to the system.
    Was the agent seeded with the same seed value used on the Sun MC server?
    Is the smcid userid in the /var/opt/SUNWsymon/cfg/esuers file and part of the esadm group?
    Can you create a esmaster user account in UNIX and try logging in using that userid. Note: this is the Sun MC superuser account.

  • What is this agent in remote server

    Hello
    I am really not able to understand when experts are talking
    1. "you need to create agent in remote server"
    What I understand: creating standalone agent in remote means, we need to install ODI there 1st. then we will configure the standalone agent. without installing ODI how can we create one agent?
    Am I right?
    2."using this agent you run your job that can process file in remote"
    What I understand: How could I access this remote agent in local system. In my local system I have configured one agent but this for my local system. So should I create another agent in my local which one point to my remote server (I mean i need to give remote master repository credentials.).
    Please help.

    Am I right?What you need is to do , choose Agent install only option when installing ODI at remote system. This will create the needed files/scripts etc on that remote system . Then you need to invoke ODI topology and create a agent . Specify remote system's details here .
    Login to your remote system ,. find the scripts needs to be run for the agent , execute the same .
    From topology , try to test the agent running on remote , you should get a success messege which means your remote agent is up and running.

So should I create another agent in my local which one point to my remote server (I mean i need to give remote master repository credentials.).ODI designer connects to repository and finds the Agent related information.
    While running the job it will prompt you to choose the agent available .
    Ofcourse the systems shold be connected via LAN .

  • Can SQL Loader load files on a remote server?

    Hello,
    I normally use SQL loader on my PC to load an 8i database located on an NT server in another state. The input file is rather large and takes several hours to load-- even with all the contraints, etc. disabled. I assume this due mostly to all the network hops between my PC and the server. I now have an FTP that can place the input file on our Oracle DB server itself. It seems to make sense that if the files were located on the server, it would load much faster. My question is: is it possible to create a sql loader process to load files located on the remote Oracle server that I can initiate or control from my PC?
    Thanks in advance for any help.
    Jeff

    Windows Terminal Services will allow you to interact with the server where you are loading the data. You could FTP the file to the remote server, start a Terminal Services session, and type or run your parameter file at a command prompt. One thing to be aware of is setting the ORACLE_SID environment variable. When you set ORACLE_SID and try to connect to the database withconnect / as sysdbayou will get the following errorERROR: ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter errorbut if you connect withconnect /@<connect_string> as sysdbathe connection works perfect. Don't really know the details on why it does this but just a issue to look out for.

  • How to load jar files from remote location

    Hi all,
    I am trying to load jar files from remote server, from a servlet which is running on OC4j.
    For doing this,First I am getting ClassLoader by using ClassLoader.getSystemClassLoader() and then type casting it to URLClassLoader.
    But by doing it I am getting ClassCastException,because oc4j returns oracle.classloader.PolicyClassLoader instead of java.net.ClassLoader.
    Appreciate if anyone can tell me how to load remote jar files using oracle.classloader.PolicyClassLoader .
    Thanks
    Harish

    Hi,
    I suppose you know about this, but just in case.
    I have used jnpl to load jar files from remote location.

  • How to load module info

    hi,
    i cant load module info of a host into the SunMC server, is it from the agent of the host
    any suggestions
    thanks.

    Hi Astroveny,
    i cant load module info of a host into the SunMC
    server, is it from the agent of the host
    any suggestions What? :)
    Do you mean you can't load a module in an Agent (i.e. you get security errors)?
    Do you mean you can't see the "Info" tab of an Agent?
    Do you mean when you double-click on an icon for an Agent it opens a new window... but the window never fills in or shows an error?
    If it's the last one, either the Agent isn't running at all (or is locked up), or the port/IP settings for that icon are incorrect, or your SunMC security is messed up (i.e. the Agent is actually running fine, but it doesn't trust your SunMC Server so it's ignoring requests for data to display in your Console).

  • Loading modules from different domain

    when I load modules from the same location where is main application, everything is fine. But when modules are loaded from different adrress i got following error:

    thanks for any help in advance

    This is a link to testing application:
    http://michalnpe.homeip.net:55001/bin-release/LoadModuleApp.html
    you can see source code of this app.
    Let's say we want to run module from different domain.
    so insert following address for crossdomain.xml and module (into TextInput in the applicataion above) .
    http://a2s.pl/crossdomain.xml
    http://www.a2s.pl/npe/softmgr/Michal/wymiana/TestModule.swf
    here is the code that loads the module:
    protected function loadModule(event:MouseEvent):void
                                            testloader.url = moduleAddress.text;
                                            //testloader.loadModule();
                                  public function setup():void { // run before loading modules
                                            Security.allowDomain("*");
                                            Security.loadPolicyFile(crossdomain.text);
                                            var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest(crossdomain.text);
                                            var loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
                                            loader.load(request);

  • "load module" is grayed out in the "Tools menu" (SMC 3.5)

    Hello,
    I've installed SMC 3.5 Update 1 on a Solaris 8.
    There is no problem when creating a new node. But when selecting the "Tools" menu to load a module, the choice "Load module..." is grayed out. So I can't load modules into any node.
    When I try a "right-click" on the node, and select "Attribute Editor", I only have "Infos" and "Security" in the new window, but no "Module Manager" and other things as specified in the Sun docs.
    During the installation, only the "Advanced System Monitoring" add-on has been selected.
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Can you tell me what kind of files can be
    missing on the server? When you ran the SunMC install script (es-inst) it would have prompted you to install several different bundles (Advance System Monitor, Performance Reporting Manager, etc...). The bundle you need to say "y" to is the "Workgroup Server" package. (http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/817-4071/6mjke3qv6?a=view)
    If you're not sure how you answered, es-inst logs to a /var/opt/SUNWsymon/install/(es-inst+timestamp) file you can grep through.
    If in doubt, simply run /opt/SUNWsymon/sbin/es-inst again on your SunMC Server (it will prompt for the location of your install files) and the script will re-prompt you for any packages you said no to last time.
    If that doesn't fix it, or if you just want to get it working now, there's a workaround to the blue-folder issue:

  • Loading Modules [FAIL] after updating to kernel 2.6.39

    During startup, I see that the Loading Modules part fails. It was doing just fine prior to the update. I fear that some modules are not loaded. So I want to know:
    (1) How to fix this
    (2) How to determine which module failed
    Thanks.

    I get the same problem at boot time (see a FAIL while loading modules) however,
    modprobe -av "list of modules"
    reports no problems. The list of modules I used is the same as in rc.conf in the MODULES directive, as shown below
    MODULES=(ac battery button processor thermal video cdrom intel-agp intel-gtt tpm_bios tpm tpm_tis tpm_tis dcdbas i2c-i801 i2c-core evdev joydev pcspkr psmouse serio_raw sparse-keymap memstick r592 mmc_core sdhci sdhci-pci pci_hotplug shpchp dell-laptop dell-wmi wmi nvidia iTCO_vendor_support iTCO_wdt crc-itu-t snd-hwdep snd snd-page-alloc snd-pcm snd-timer snd-hda-codec snd-hda-intel soundcore scsi_mod ata_piix libphy tg3 mac80211 rfkill iwl3945 iwl-legacy cfg80211 usbcore ehci-hcd uhci-hcd option usbserial usb_wwan firewire-core firewire-ohci sd_mod sr_mod st sg)
    Loading modules automatically was disabled in rc.conf; thus, these modules should be the only ones being loaded at boot time.

    Anyone have any ideas ?

    1. try passing the non encoded token e.g. BOToken = enterpriseSession.getLogonTokenMgr().createLogonToken("", 120, 100);
    2. try using getDefaultToken() and see if that works.
    3. Have you tried usign openDocument.jsp instread?
    4. are you redirecting to this url? 'http://[server]:8080/BOE/CrystalReports/viewrpt.cwr?id='repId'&apstoken=[token]';
    Java uses double quote " rather than single quote ' for string declaration.

    Just did a downgrade and it's working again, here are my versions.
    linux 3.9.9-1

    nvidia 319.32-2
    nvidia-utils 319.32-1
    bbswitch 0.7-4
    If you have conflicts, I found it easiest to remove those (bbswitch, virtualbox in my case), downgrade linux and then install the appropriate  bbs/vb packages

  • Security error while loading pdf file in jsp in firefox?

    When i type in the following link manually in firefox as " file://///172.16.2.1/copyediting/ELS/mallet.pdf", pdf file is loaded successfully in the firefox browser. PDF file is located in remote server which is referred by IP 172.16.2.1.
    I've assigned the Same link in a String in jsp page and tested it through my tomcat application as
    <%
    String linktotest="file://///172.16.2.1/copyediting/ELS/mallet.pdf";
    %>
    <a href="<%=linktotest%>">link</a>
    when i click on the hyperlink , the pdf is not loaded in firefox and i'm getting the following error in firefox error console
    Security Error: Content at http://172.16.3.222:8080/FMS/source/journal/ProductionEntry.jsp may not load or link to file://///172.16.2.1/copyediting/ELS/mallet.pdf
    can any one please give me the solution.

    Links and forms in HTML should point to public URL´s (with http:// or https:// protocol), not to the file system (with file://).
    If those files are not public accessible by URL, then you need to create a servlet which does the file streaming task. This example may be useful then: [http://balusc.blogspot.com/2007/07/fileservlet.html].

  • Could not load Module... A known bug in Logic Pro 7.3 with Snow Leopard?

    I know this issue has been discussed before, but on my brand new MacBook Pro it's still an issue, so can someone please help me out with this?
    Here goes:
    Loading Logic 7.2.3 in Snow Leopard:
    The previously selected audio interface is not available
    The built-in audio inputs and outputs of the computer will be used instead for this session.
    <ok>
    Could not load Module "FW-1884" (-43)
    <cancel>
    Could not load Module "HUI" (-43)
    <cancel>
    Could not load Module "Logic Control" (-43)
    <cancel>
    Could not load Module "TranzPort" (-43)
    <cancel>
    Logic loads, and everything seems to work just fine.
    <selecting a plugin ---> Bass Amp>
    CoreAudio:
    Resource not found. (-10109)
    This happens no matter which plugin I choose - Bass Amp, EXS 24, ES1 etc…
    <Continue>
    The plugin loads, and works, but the display is in "Controls" Mode. Trying to switch to "Editor" Mode resulsts in the same error as above.
    Is there anyone out there who knows why this happens?
    Thanks
    Warbler

    Given that so many things are funky, I'd suspect that one or both of the following is occurring:
    1) Your Logic Pro application/installation is corrupt. Logic is failing loading control surface modules which should be in the application bundle. Reinstall.
    2) You have an incompatibility between Logic and the necessary system frameworks because Logic is too old/your system/OS is too new. You can't expect to hold back on an old version of an application and press forward with the OS (or vice versa) forever - eventually, something will break, and you'll have a large leap to get things working again.
    It's probably better to stay on the update train unless there is a specific reason to get off, or at least, freeze your computer/OS version at the same tim as you freeze your application.

  • Errors when using Spark Buttons in dynamically loaded modules loaded by dynamically loaded modules

    Ok ... I have to admit this issue is rather special ;-)
    I have a flex application that loads a list of modules after the user logs in, depending on the permissions of the user.
    One of these modules contains a component, that allows the user to configure settings for different types of objects.
    For each object type (can be extended) there exists one module swf.
    The strange problem I am having now is that as soon as a Spark Button (or anything derived from one ... CheckBox) inside the settings-module. I get the following error (unfortunately in german ... but I'll try to translate).
    This error happens when using a spark CheckBox (Which is derived from Spark Button):
    ArgumentError: Error #2004: Einer der Parameter ist ungültig.
    at flash.display::Graphics/drawRect()
    at mx.graphics::RectangularDropShadow/drawShadow()[E:\dev\4.x\frameworks\projects\framework\ src\mx\graphics\RectangularDropShadow.as:575]
    at mx.skins.spark::BorderSkin/updateDisplayList()[E:\dev\4.x\frameworks\projects\sparkskins\ src\mx\skins\spark\BorderSkin.mxml:174]

    at mx.managers::LayoutManager/doPhasedInstantiationCallback()[E:\dev\4.x\frameworks\projects \framework\src\mx\managers\LayoutManager.as:1072]
    When having a look at the problem the cause is that width and height are not set (NaN).
    If I use a plain Button I get the same error in "drawRoundRect".
    As soon as I change back to a mx-Button/Checkbox, everything is fine.
    In my current Case I wanted to use a custom TreeItemRenderer to display a CheckBox in the tree. This tree Item renderer is included in a custom Lib that is used by all modules.
    I have one Second Level module using this renderer. I have one Third Level Module thas uses the exact same tree definition. If I use the MX CheckBox I get CheckBoxes in the Second- and Third-Level Module. If I use the Spark-CheckBox I get a CheckBox in my Second Level Module and the above Error in the Third Level Module.
    To make everything even stranger: I have a custom component loading my modules and I use this in the Top Level Module to load the Second Level Modules and in my Second Level Module to load my Third Level Modules (So I would guess If my loader is broken, then the Second Level Modules should not work either).
    Help is greatly appreciated :-)
    Regards,
          Chris

    Ok, I managed to find out what was going wrong and to get my stuff working again. I have to admit that I have no idea why my application / flex was showing this behaviour. The only way I could track this down was by undoing the Subversion checkins one by one. Finding out what was happening using common sense seems to be out of the question with this issue.
    My application is built up of a main application swf that loads module swfs and a library swc that contains common stuff and is used in the main application and the modules.
    I now had some custom TreeItemRenderers in my modules. The problem was caused by moving a custom TreeItemRenderer from one module to the library-swc. I could successfully reproduce this. If I add only one class extending TreeItemRenderer to my library (I don't even have to use it), the entire flex system goes haywire. As soon as I remove that class, everything is ok. I checked, if there might be a problem with third party libs containing flex core classes which might be used instead of the sdk ones, but after looking at the catalogs of the third party swcs I couldn't find a reference to TreeItemRenderer.
    Any Ideas? I sort of dislike the idea of being able to run into such strange problems. Is there a tool that allows me to check for class compatibility issues?
