Running it since yesterday. Hardly a long or complete assessment yet, but seems smooth. No glaring bugs noticed yet. It'll be nice to get a de-binged, de-bloated version.
At this point who really cares whether we get it or not! Verizon is soooo slow to give us updates that as soon as my contract is up I am gone! They keep blaming Samsung but it's not them. All the other Galaxy devices get their updates! Goodbye Verizon!
Then why do we see Motorola/HTC updates on a regular basis? I think it is both of them, I do not put anything past Samsung, their track record has shown it.

I can deploy Oracle XE for production in the Web?
I can deploy Oracle XE for production on web site with support for 100 users or more?
I run Oracle 10g XE on a home computer with 2GB of memory, and when I have a web browser, email, and SQL Developer open I am using more than 1GB of memory. If you're running Microsoft Office and other software on this machine while multiple users are accessing the database, my guess is that you're running out of physical memory and the operating system is running on swap/pagefile space (using the hard disk to emulate physical memory, which is extremely slow in comparison).
You could take a look at this by opening the Windows Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC), watching the graphs/numbers in the Performance tab, and seeing if the "Commit Charge" number at the bottom is exceeding the amount of physical memory you have installed (check by viewing System Properties: WINKEY+BREAK).
My suggestion is, at the least, to run the XE database on a standalone PC/server (probably one with better CPU than a Celeron, which doesn't have much CPU cache), and make sure all the switches in your workplace are running at 100Mbps or 1Gbps speed, so that users pulling large datasets will have decent response times. -
For what does the BPEL Manager need a domain ?
For what does the BPEL engine need a domain ?
Where (in which file) is specified to which domain the BPEL Manager
connects to?
Is it a difference if the domains are defined in table
orabpel.domain
or just
domain
? With which user/password/service does to BPEL Manager connect to
Oracle DB to search for its domain?
Background: My domain "default" exists in table but BEPL Manager could not connect hereWe currently have 3 domains for BPEL. We use them because they a) serve different purposes, b) we tweak the domain level threads.
I believe bpel manager will, by default, connect to the which ever domain starts with the letter closest to A.
I also think the user account is orabpel, which connects to the bpel schema. -
Insurance for MBP in the UK?
Does anybody have any sugesstions for a good insurance in the uk?
Welcome to Apple Discussions!!
My computers (including two notebooks) are covered by my normal household contents policy. If you want to just insure the notebook, I think you'll need to call around, or visit a site such as Moneysupermarket.com to compare quotes (that is how I found my last Car and Home Insurance deals).
Good luck with your hunt! -
Installing OVS 3.3.1 for use without the VM Manager and /dev/mapper
Hello,
I've done an install of OVS 3.3.1 on to a standalone server with a local disk.
When I do an fdisk -l I see the following output
[root@SYS-VMServer1 ~]# fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 1000.2 GB, 1000204886016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 121601 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x0001e3a5
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 64 512000 83 Linux
Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.
/dev/sda2 64 6591 52428800 83 Linux
/dev/sda3 6591 7063 3784704 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda4 7063 121602 920035328 83 Linux
Disk /dev/mapper/OVM_SYS_REPO_PART_350024e9003518d34: 942.1 GB, 942116175872 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 114539 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000000
What I'd like to do is remove the /dev/mapper/OVM_SYS_REPO_PART_350024e9003518d34 partition (I think this is using the /dev/sda4 partition)
I tried deleting the partition /dev/sda4
then
kpartx -d /dev/mapper/OVM_SYS_REPO_PART_350024e9003518d34
However when I re-create the /dev/sda4 partition and then reboot the /dev/mapper/OVM_SYS_REPO_PART_350024e9003518d34 re-appears!!
I want to create a standard partition formatted as an EXT4 file-system and start/stop vm's from using the xm command's (we create our VM's on another OVS 3.3.1 + VM Manager that's on another server).
The reason for this is that we want to use DRBD + REMUS which is included with OVS 3.3.1 (just type modinfo drbd)
I know I could probably download xen on to an appropriate OEL Distro but I like using OVS as it's simple, straight-forward and it works!
Thanks for your helpSuggestions…? Well yes… simply forget about that! Oracle treats OVM server as an appliance - or least they'd like to and sell us the hardware as well. Since they can't do that, they decided to "craft" the system to their likings and omit lots of things one might consider either necessary or nice to have.
Oralce did intentionally leave out all the gcc stuff and a lot of the other tools as well, to make sure mortals don't mess around with the system. If you want to use OVM then you will have to live with that or risk breaking any part of OVM and rendering your installation unsupported by Oracle.
Besides, I don't actually see, why one would need to install libvirt/virt-install on a OVM server? -
Why should I continue to use your product after the way you treated your former CEO?

Hello erqerq, thanks for taking the time inquiring about the issue instead of just silently turning your back on us. You might spare a minute or two to go through these bits of information trying to clear up a some of the misconceptions that are flying around. Unfortunately some media outlets will rather publish sensationalized stories generating many clicks and increased revenue by ads than perform the most basic fact-checking:

If it were for Mozilla alone Brendan didn't have to leave - we would like nothing better than to rehire Brendan. In fact, we didn't want him to leave in the first place. However it was his personal decision to resign among all this ongoing frenzy, threats and mischaracterization of him as a person and the Mozilla community coming from third-parties, in order for the constant bombardment to end and to avert any further damage to Mozilla and its mission that he helped build for many years in such an essential role.
So in this sad process we have lost a co-founder and brilliant technical mind and now the "other side" of the political spectrum also comes along, again very quick rushing to judgement, bashing our community and some voicing calls for boycotts against our products.
<br>In my opinion Mozilla has not deserved to be in the middle of all of this and getting entangled in the politics of the day certainly isn't the right place for us to be in. Our community exists to advance the state of the Web by promoting openness, innovation and opportunity, which should be the one goal we can all unite around, no matter which views we might have otherwise.

After upgrading my iphone 4s to 7.1.1 the Maps application does not work properly. It updates very slowly and is constantly "locating". Why is this happening after the upgrade? I also tried SCOUT App it is does the same thing. It seems like it is losing the GPS position. Is there a fix for this?
Any change after turning Airplane mode off and on and/or or after turning Location Services off and back on?
If not, any change after doing a reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release? -

Control cycle for production staging SAP WM
We currently have control cycle for kanban purchase orders. Do I need to create new control cycle production staging. Actually I will be using fixed bin for production consumption. Kindly confirm whether existing control cycle of purchase order can be used.
Material Staging Indicator for Production Supply
The material staging indicator defines the method of how needed materials can be supplied for production with the assistance of the Warehouse Management system.
As with the location coordinates (warehouse number, storage type, and storage bin), the system files this indicator in the control cycle.
The following staging types are supported:
"1": Pick parts
These materials are picked according to the required quantity specified in the production order.
"2": Crate or kanban parts
These materials are always removed from the warehouse in full cases. These can be ordered, for example, as soon as a case of needed parts is emptied in production.
"3": Release order parts
Release order parts are scheduled individually and the quantities are supplied manually to replenishment storage bins based on the requirements of production orders and the stock levels in the scheduled production supply areas.
"4": Manual staging
Materials are staged manually. For example, you can transport individual components using manually created transfer orders, or you can use the bypass method to transport them directly from the goods receipt zone to production. In goods receipt posting, postings are made to the production storage bins from the control cycles.
"0": Not relevant to WM-PP
These materials are not relevant to WM staging. They cannot be requested using the WM system. -
Sales Order in PCUI: Search for products based on BP?
Hello,
my customer wants to migrate to PC-UI and has the requirement that when creating a new sales order the search for products only returns those products that are defined by a partner-product relation PPR, as is possible in standard SAPGui. Unfortunately I do not see a way to restrict the search for products in a way like this, is there?
Thanks
ThomasHello thomas,
If it is not available in standard, you can always enhance the query method of your MAC to show select only products based on your parner-product relation PPR.

Searching for products via Product Hierarchy ID in CRM Webclient 2007
Hello,
When creating a sales order in CRM Webclient 2007 I would like to be able to search for products by using the Product Hierarchy ID. When clicking the search help for product in the order entry screen in the webclient UI, I get a pop-up with the available search criteria. I select Product Hierarchy ID and click on Input Help. A new pop-up is displayed with the three Hierarchy ID:s:
R3MATCLASS Material Group
R3PRODSTYP Product Subtype
R3PRODHIER Product Hierarchy
I select R3PRODHIER. When hitting the search button, I get all materials which have Hierarchy ID R3PRODHIER assigned as a product category in the material master data. I can however not search for materials which belong to a certain hierarchy node in the product hierarchy.
In transaction VA01 in ECC it is possible to drill down through the three levels of the product hierarchy to find the desired material. Is the same type of searching possible in CRM?
Any help much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Johan WigertHi Johan
I want to know if finally you have found the way to deal this problem.
Thank you very much,

LENOVO U310, windows 7, SSD drive showing in bios but not in the disk management
Hi,
I recently installed windows 7.
But after installing I found out the the computer is not waking from sleep. When I enter the password and press enter the screen becomes blank. I have to again restart the system.
Doing some googling I found out that SSD drive does the caching when iRST is used.
So I tried to look for SSD in the Disk management, But I can see only 1 500 GB HHD. It doesn't show the SSD drive.
Even the Intel Rapid Storage technology is not detecting. It shows internal empty port 0.
But when I checked in the BIOS, in the system information i can see the SSD mentioned.
If any one of you have faced the same problem and/or know some work around then please help.
Thanks,
SumitSounds one of the following problems:
1.) The drive is formatted MBR w/ win 8 features enabled / legacy disabled.
2.) A "dynamic" drive is present. -
Should I go utf8 all the way?
I think I need some advise on the topic of encodings. My system right now is a mess: One old Windows partition (NTFS), one shared FAT32 partition, both with files from a long time ago in i don't know which encoding, filenames with and without non-ascii characters, etc.
Then there are the linux partitions with mostly new files created under my current locale, en_GB, although i tried out en_GB.utf8 for a while.
My files are partly English, partly Norwegian/Swedish, so I need to accomodate the special characters of those languages, but I have no need neither for Arabic nor Korean/Japanese etc.
When I would still like to switch to a fully unicoded system, it's partly to avoid the mess, but mostly because some of the programs I need and use on a daily basis, require unicode files (lilypond, etc.). I've had some programs complain about incorrect file name encoding (gwenview, I think, or perhaps gqview), and my file names with non-ascii characters show up in several different ways, and, it seems, differently in X-apps, in consoles, in terminals, in vim, etc.
So, there you have my situation. Does anyone have experience - good or bad - with this kind of situation? Ideally, I suppose, I'd like all my files to be properly unicoded, both regarding file names and contents. But I assume this involves a potentially "dangerous" situation with a batch job with iconv?
What are the pitfalls I need to keep in mind before I do this? Are there other solutions I might consider? What about apps which don't support unicode - would I be better off staying in latin1 - perhaps converting everything to that instead of unicode? As I said, in terms of characters, I really don't need more than what latin1 can offer, but some apps require unicode for the file encoding.
Any help, feedback, pointers to good sites, etc. are appreciated.apps not supporting unicode tend to be rare these days, as most apps are built on qt, gtk, python, java, mono, readline, etc... and thus support utf8 OOTB.
IIRC (some part of) zsh does not support unicode.
you should also make clear distinction on multiple things:
1. display/input uft8
2. utf8 filenames in filesystem(s)
3. utf8 file contents
gentoo has good reference:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Create_an_ … led_system
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Make_your_ … code/utf-8
as for my advice, I'd say go for utf8 all the way. when you're on the rails, it's just transparent, and if you happen to have some file/contents having some 'weird' character in it, you'll always be okay ('weird' being relative, you don't need to go as far as Arabic: that could simply be a simple accented character not present in your ISO-* set). why be restricted when you can just as well be open? you never know what might be your need tomorrow: e.g I'm french (accented chars), I got on to learn japanese (obvious chars), and I may be in relation occasionally with at least spanish (tilda chars), and german (umlauts and ss) someday in my work. I woudn't want to have to handle 5 charsets, or to convert to utf8 at that time, so I took things in hand right now, ready and set.
personnally the first thing I do when I install arch is locale-gen en_US.UTF-8 and set locale to it.
as for windows compatibility, NTFS filenames are stored as utf8 IIRC, and fat32 can have utf8 enabled, though IIRC it makes the fs case sensitive. regarding file contents, most not too old windows software usually handle utf8 correctly (at least never had a problem, when I still had windows). issues arise when files are stored in non-iso windows encoding (cp1252 and the like), which I was never able to convert successfully, yet it can just be my fault for not trying hard enough (because the few files I had being non-utf8 were not that important).
EDIT: some additions

In process Quality for Production orders
Hi Guys,
I am facing issues while doing an in process quality for production order. The usage is In process quality,
can anyone help me to carry out a flow for this usage type.
What are the necessary settings to be done and also explain the workflow for this inspection type.
Thanks,
KrishnaHi,
For in process quality you have to activate "03" type quality in the QM view for the material.
After creation of the order you have to generate inspection lot and based on the inspection lot you have to do result recording.
After that you will do the GR followed by usage decision of the inspation lot.
Hope this will help. Please elaborate the details for further clarification.

kaushik
