  • Dashboard Prompt - Integer field (material number) - remove commas

    Hi all,
    We have a problem with one number field that added as a prompt in the dashboard. This is an integer field contains Material numbers shows commas and we need to remove commas. Problem is we cannot cast it because we need to keep it as ineteger field to sort the column. Please advise to correct this either repository area or in the dashboard prompt sql statment that applicable to an **integer** field to remove commas.
    Appreciate all your help!!
    Thanks,

    Thank You Svee. I have already tried override and treat number as number but that still showed the commas.
    What I was missing was clicking on save as the system-wide default. I never tried that before and this worked. I appreciate your help.

  • Materialized View with Join for FAST Refresh

    Hi Gurus,
    Facing issues in MV with a simple join for FAST Refresh.
    2 sample Tables:
    1. employee
    empid integer PK
    empname varchar(50)
    deptid integer FK
    2. delta_employee
    empid integer PK
    empname varchar(50)
    deptid integer FK
    dmlflag varchar(2)
    watermark integer
    Code is as given below -
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW LOG ON work.employee
    WITH SEQUENCE,rowid(empid)
    INCLUDING NEW VALUES;
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW LOG ON work.delta_employee
    WITH SEQUENCE,rowid(empid)
    INCLUDING NEW VALUES;
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW work.MVEmployee REFRESH force on
    demand with rowid AS
    select e.empid,e.empname,e.deptid,d.empid t1
    from work.employee e, work.delta_employee d
    where e.empid = d.empid;
    Able to perform Complete Refresh. Not able to use Fast Refresh for
    incremental refresh.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    J Kumar

    Found a solution,
    As per oracle documentation rowid fileds should be included in the Select statement. Even though I included the rowid fields, empid in this case it still didnt work.
    The implementation of the rowid column should be included with tablename.rowid instead of the tablename.columnname !
    Modified script is as given below.
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW WORK.MVEMPLOYEE
    REFRESH FORCE ON DEMAND
    WITH PRIMARY KEY
    AS
    select e.rowid "empid",d.rowid "t1" ,e.empname,e.deptid
    from work.employee e, work.delta_employee d
    where e.empid = d.empid;
    And It really WORKS

  • Problem with MATERIALIZED VIEW (snapshot)

    Hi,
    I've any problem with creating MATERIALIZED VIEW (snapshot)
    My table is ROOMS:
    SQL> DESC ROOMS
    Name Null? Type
    LS_ID VARCHAR2(32)
    BL_ID NOT NULL VARCHAR2(32) PRIMARY KEY1
    FL_ID NOT NULL VARCHAR2(4) PRIMARY KEY2

    3 FROM ROOMS
    4 GROUP BY LS_ID, SITE_ID);
    COUNT(TOT)
    11673
    I'd like to create one MATERIALIZED VIEW that refresh every 30 seconds when I insert, update or delete on ROOMS table.
    I tried this:
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW ROOMS_SNAP
    BUILD IMMEDIATE
    REFRESH complete
    START WITH to_date(sysdate,'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
    NEXT sysdate + 30/86400
    disable QUERY REWRITE
    AS
    SELECT LS_ID, SITE_ID
    FROM ROOMS
    GROUP BY LS_ID, SITE_ID
    but when I insert, update or delete one record on ROOMS table, ROOMS_SNAP not refresh.
    What I wrong?
    How Can I write MATERIALIZED VIEW to maintain synchronization

    Hello,
    I had similar problem standard seq reached max limit. I could not book sales order. Solution from metalink was simple alter seq.

  • ORA-03120 :two-task conversion routine:integer overflow Vendor code 3120

    Hi,
    I got below mentioned error message, while i run the procedure in sql developer
    ORA-03120 :two-task conversion routine:integer overflow Vendor code 3120

    What version of the database are you on? 9.2.0.8 for a guess?
    >
    ORA-03120 is associated with bug 5671074 on Oracle Enterprise Edition; Version 9.2.0.8, occurring on any platform:
    After applying the 9.2.0.8 patchset, compilation of functions and/or materialized view refreshes that reference remote databases via database links start failing with:
    ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object OMS.PREMISE@JEAUSER_OMPR_L.WORLD
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-03120: two-task conversion routine: integer overflow
    ORA-02063: preceding line from JEAUSER_OMPR_L
    Bug 5671074 "ORA-4052/ORA-3106 on Create / Refresh of Materialized View", can cause this problem. Contrary to the bug abstract and description, this bug does not just apply to materialized view creation and refresh. It can occur for any PL/SQL that references a remote object via database link where the 'Endianness' of the two platforms differs. If one platform is 'Big-Endian', and another platform is 'Little-Endian', then this bug can be triggered between them. A list of the endianness of different platforms can be obtained from the following query (note that the v$transportable_platform view is only available in 10.1 and above):
    To resolve ORA-03120, this solution is given:
    To implement the solution, it will be necessary to apply the one-off patch for Bug 5671074 to the 9.2.0.8 database. One-off patches to 9.2.0.8 for most platforms are already available for download on MOSC. Bug 5671074 to the 9.2.0.8 database. One-off patches to 9.2.0.8 for most platforms are already available for download on MOSC.

  • Function modules to create material master

    hi guys! i know there are function modules to create material master but is there any standard program to process mass uploading of data to create material master? thanks.

    HI
    these are all the different function modules that are availale in abap
    ABAP_DOCU_DOWNLOAD     Download ABAP documentation in HTML format.
    APPL_LOG_DELETE     With this function module you delete logs in the database according to specified selection conditions
    APPL_LOG_DISPLAY     With this function module you can analyze logs in the database.
    APPL_LOG_DISPLAY_INTERN     With this function module you can analyze logs in local memory, e.g. when you have only collected log records at runtime and do not want to write to the database.
    APPL_LOG_INIT     This function module checks whether the specified object or sub-object exists and deletes all existing associated data in local memory.
    APPL_LOG_READ_DB     With this function module you read the log data in the database for an object or sub-object according to specified selection conditions.
    APPL_LOG_READ_INTERN     With this function module you read all log data whose log class has at least the specified value, from local memory, for the specified object or sub-object.
    APPL_LOG_SET_OBJECT     With this function module, you create a new object or sub-object for writing in local memory. With a flag you can control whether the APPL_LOG_WRITE_... messages are written in local memory or are output on the screen.
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_DB     With this function module you write all data for the specified object or sub-object in local memory to the database. If the log for the object or sub-object in question is new, the log number is returned to the calling program.
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_HEADER     With this function module, you write the log header data in local memory.
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_LOG_PARAMETERS     With this function module, you write the name of the log parameters and the associated values for the specified object or sub-object in local memory. If this function module is called repeatedly for the same object or sub-object, the existing parameters are updated accordingly. If you do not specify an object or sub-object with the call, the most recently used is assumed.
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_MESSAGE_PARAMS     With this function module you write a single message, with parameters, in local memory. Otherwise the function module works like APPL_LOG_WRITE_SINGLE_MESSAGE.
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_MESSAGES     With this function module you write one or more messages, without parameters, in local memory.
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_SINGLE_MESSAGE     With this function module you write a single message, without parameters, in local memory. If no header entry has yet been written for the object or sub-object, it is created. If you do not specify an object or sub-object with the call, the most recently used is assumed.
    ARFC_GET_TID     will return the IP address of the terminal in hex.

    data:  lc_directory         like bdschko16-target_dir value 'C:\TEMP\',
           lc_filter(20)        type c default '.'.
           li_file_count        type i,
           li_dir_count         type i,
           ltab_dir_table       like sdokpath occurs 0 with header line,
           ltab_file_file_table like sdokpath occurs 0 with header line.
    call function 'TMP_GUI_DIRECTORY_LIST_FILES'
      exporting
        directory        = lc_directory
        filter           = lc_filter  importing
        file_count       = li_file_count
        dir_count        = li_dir_count
      tables
        file_table       = ltab_file_table
        dir_table        = ltab_dir_table
      exceptions
        cntl_error       = 1
        others           = 2.
    UNIT_CONVERSION_SIMPLE     convert weights from one UOM to another.
    UPLOAD     upload a file to the presentation server (PC)
    UPLOAD_FILES     Will load one or more files from app or presentation server
    WEEK_GET_FIRST_DAY     For a given week (YYYYMM format), this function returns the date of the Monday of that week.
    WRITE_LIST     Useful for writing out the list contents that result from the function LIST_FROM_MEMORY.
    WS_DOWNLOAD     Save Internal Table as File on the Presentation Server

  • PL/SQL Proc, execute immediate and materialized view 9.2.0.6

    Hello,
    Environement description: Sun Solaris 8 , Oracle database 9.2.0.6
    I've a problem trying to execute this PL/SQL Procedure:
    I'm loged in with PMU user
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE PMU.PROC_TEST_PMU_C035 (part_arrete in integer, part_session in integer) AS
    lv_p_arrete number     := part_arrete;
    lv_p_session number     := part_session;
    lv_stmt     varchar2(31000);
    BEGIN
    lv_stmt := ' ';
    lv_stmt := lv_stmt || 'CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW 'PMU''.''TEST_PMU_C035'' ';
    lv_stmt := lv_stmt || 'TABLESPACE PMU_8M_DATA ';
    lv_stmt := lv_stmt || 'BUILD IMMEDIATE ';
    lv_stmt := lv_stmt || 'REFRESH COMPLETE AS ';
    lv_stmt := lv_stmt || 'SELECT * FROM ACTION ';
    lv_stmt := lv_stmt || 'WHERE LIBELLE IN ( ''SOCIETE 1'', ''SOCIETE 2'', ''SOCIETE 3'' ) ;';
    dbms_output.put_line ( lv_stmt) ;
    execute immediate ( lv_stmt);
    END;
    When I comment the line : execute immediate ( lv_stmt); It works fine and my statement appear on the screen:
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW PMU.TEST_PMU_C035 TABLESPACE PMU_8M_DATA BUILD
    IMMEDIATE REFRESH COMPLETE AS SELECT LIBELLE FROM ACTION WHERE LIBELLE IN (
    'SOCIETE1', 'SOCIETE2', 'SOCIETE3' ) ;
    When I execute manually this query it works.
    But when I try to do the execute immediate, it gives me this error:
    BEGIN "PMU"."PROC_TEST_PMU_C035" ( 13, 14); END;
    ERROR at line 1:

  • ID Matte, Coverage, Material ID, Object ID, 3d render elements

    Hi all,
    I've rendered 3d .exr images from 3dsmax and saved the g-buffer channels of MaterialID, ObjectID, and Coverage. After loading them into AE, it seems like an easy task to simply apply the "3D Channel/ ID Matte" effect to it to extract it, right? Only problem is that nothing happens. Nothing on the screen changes, no color mask shows up, scrubbing the ID Selection slider to choose a different ID doesn't change anything. Just the base exr beauty pass stays on the screen, as if there were no channels present.
    I've got to be doing something stupid and simple, right?
    The exr file in AE's Project dialog box even notes that the exr file has 6 channels: R, G, B, MaterialID.ID, ObjectID.ID, and Coverage.COV.
    Why can't I extract the g-buffer data?
    If I save other renderelement passes (such as reflection, diffuse, specular) they are RGB channels and extract just fine with the AE effect EXtractoR. Even MaterialID and ObjectID renderelement passes as RGB channels extract this way too; however, they take up more data and aren't simply g-buffer channels.
    What am I missing?
    Thanks,
    -Matt

    As long as 3DS Max stored the channel in the OpenEXR, you should be able to get it into After Effects. The first thing to do is try the EXtractoR and IDentifier effects. These two effects correspond to the two types of channels you can find in an OpenEXR: floating point image channels (EXtractoR) and integer ID channels (IDentifier). Once you've pulled the EXR channels into AE layers, you should be able to manipulate them any way you see fit.
    As mentined in the Adobe docs, there is a text file you can use to tag EXR channels so that AE's standard 3D channel effects will know which OpenEXR channel names are meant to represent Z-Depth, MaterialID, etc. So if you have a material ID channel called "matID" and a coverage channel called "cover", you'd create a OpenEXR_channel_map.txt file and add these lines to it:
    matID     MATR     UBT1
    cover     COVR     FLT4
    Then when you next launch AE, you should be able to use the ID Matte effects.
    But what I would do is use EXtractoR and IDentifier to grab those channels and apply coverage manually. In my experience, to apply the coverage channel (which should be an image channel, not an ID channel) all you do is place it on top of the aliased ID matte and then turn the transfer mode to multiply. Depending on the renderer, you may have to invert it. This should replicate what the ID Matte plug-in does with coverage.
    Note that applying coverage will antialias the edges of your ID matte, but it still doesn't solve all the problems with using these channels, which for any given pixel can only specify one object.  A better approach is often to render objects seperately or to make a pass where the object is self-illuminating white and everything else is black. The matte you get this way will have motion blur and all the other things you lose when you use an ID channel. You can make 3 mattes at a time by making one object 100% red, another 100% green, and another 100% blue.

  • Raw material in decimals in order

    Hi,
    I am facing a problem with consumption of packing materials  .The BUM is RO1(Roll).
    In bom i have maintained in decimals the requirmet for 1 FG. But when i make prod order the quantity  is rounded to integer '1 '
    What are settings which control this  ?
    Regards
    ShankarR

    Hi Shankar,
    I think ur Base unit of measure is not roll, Please check in material master Basic data 1, the base unit of measure is is ROll or kg?
    While proposing in the order system always proposes in BUM.
    If it is roll in basic data. then In CUNI for ROLL, check weather decimal places are active.

  • ATP result as non-integer quantity

    I have a order which i created in UOM CAR.
    1CAR = 150 PCE in my case
    The ATP happens based on the Basic UOM which is there in Material master.
    First UOM in order is converted to basic UOM. In this case 1 CAR = 150 PCE
    Then ATP will be carried out.
    After ATP  100PCE were available. So 0.66 CAR was confirmed in schedule line
    But this is wrong and it should be in integer value only.
    Is there a way i can make that happen. Some setting which i can do to avoid this.
    Regards,
    Aayush Jain

    There is no standard setting to change this behaviour. The system will always exexute ATP in base unit of measure. In your example, if you want the 0.66 to be rounded, you eed to use a user exiot. An extract from the note explains how to do this:
    If you nevertheless want to use a rounding function for the confirmed
    quantities, the EXIT_SAPLATPC_002 function module is provided as a user exit for
    changing the result of the ATP check. In this case, the T006-ANDEC and
    T006-DECAN fields must be analyzed depending on the unit of measure used. The
    T_MDVEX-MNG02 quantity can then be adjusted accordingly.
    So you need to discuss this further with your ABAPers.

  • Duplicate in material no

    Dear Experts,
    We have taken restart of MDM server. Now when we are trying to upload the repository for material it is giving error u201Ccannot set unique constrain on material no because duplicate record existu201D. We remove this condition from console temporarily to find out duplicate record in MDM. We checked duplicate by matching record u2018All vs Allu2019, it has not given any duplicate but still error remains the same.
    We only want to UP the repository with unique constrain on material no. Kindly help to find out duplicate in material no in  master data manager.
    Regards,
    Gaurang

    Hi Gaurang,
    I am detailing the steps from note below and also including my comments in bold:
    As the report mentions, Verify->Repair will automatically perform the following:
    1. Remove the Unique field so that repository can be loaded.
    2. Add a new integer field and populate numbers for the duplicate records only. All records with same number are duplicates for the same value.
    The addition of a integer field is automatic and it creates a duplicate label for duplicate records,it is populated for duplicated records,only for helping you delete those records with problem
    The user should perform the following:
    These are the steps you have to do:
    1. Load the repository (Update indices option).
    2. Inspect the duplicate values in the table with Data Manager with the help of new field
    3. Fix the duplicate problem by removing the duplicated records.
    4. Unload the repository
    5. Remove the new field and add back the unique constraint.This new field is the duplicate label field created automatically,delete that.
    6. Load the repository with Update Indices option.
    This sums it up,dont forget to take backup before you do a repair.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • What are the mandatory fields while creation of material master in differen

    what are the mandatory fields while creation of material master in different views?

    Hi Gopi,
      This is purely depends on the function configuration, which would be done MM consultants.  Kindly check with them.

  • Refresh/Update data in a materialized view

    Hi,
    I have question about the data in a materialized view and how it is refreshed. My mat view has all my dimension-ids and my (for my specialize needs) aggregated measures from my fact table. I used the mat view wizard to create my view - which works perfectly. But now I wonder if I have to create some sort of mapping(?) or some sort of trigger to refresh the data in the mat view. Or is the data automatically refreshed when I start my fact table mappings. I use OWB 11gR2
    thx

    MVs have properties for refresh - you an refresh based on schedules or when dependent data is committed or manually.
    Cheers
