  • SAP Workflow integrated with Microsoft Outlook

    Hello All,
I have the following question. When an work item comes in the SBWP inbox, as soon as the work item is executed by the user
the workitem disappears from the SBWP. Now my question is if SAP Workflow is integrated with Microsoft Outlook (so that email containing the work item as a link reaches Outlook), is there a way to make the email disappear from the Outlook as soon as the SAP work item is completed.
Can someone throw some light on the same.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi,
Duet workflow scenario is available. SAP Application sends workitem to Duet Server and Outlook client has Duet add-in. You need Duet Server and user license.
Also SAP MAPI Service Provider is available. You can access SAP Inbox items from your outlook client. I think SAP MAPI Service provider is free.

  • I need help integrating Microsoft Office, Outlook and Calendar with my job and is it possible

Ok guys I am new to the iphone 4s. I just dumped my Blackberry after 10 years. I need help integrating Microsoft Office, Outlook and Calendar with my job and is it possible? Also I need it to automatically push email and appointments to my phone? I will buy any app just need to know which is best for work environment. Here is what I am thinking about doing. http://www.groovypost.com/howto/apple/sync-iphone-or-ipod-touch-calendar-and-con tacts-with-google/ Is this the best way? For personal use I am using paid G whiz app

I use Google Calendar Sync to sync my work Outlook calendar to a gmail account, then sync that to my iPhone.  It works well for me for the past couple of years.
As far as mail itself, just ask your it folks for settings for remote access to your exchange account, and then set it up on the phone.
As far as working with Office docs, to be able to actually edit them and such, look in the app store for DocsToGo or QuickOffice - they both are good but each has it's pros and cons, so on balance it's down to mere preference i think.

    Hi Balaji,
No, a sap user who wants to send mails to outlook users and the user sending the mail to outlook must get all the users of outlook in sap,in auto look up mode.(When using outlook for sending the mails, when you want to send a mail suppose to user"balaji" if you click type "b"on address bar you can see all th users name starting with b...like balaji, balram, basker etc......)
We need a way to have an e-mail address look-up/auto-complete (preferably from the Exchange Global Address list) feature anywhere that you would put an email address into the SAPGUI interface
Something like the email address auto-complete feature in Outlook (never mind that this is a client-side feature).Another possibility is the address lookup feature (pressing crtl-k in Outlook).
Please see the attached document for the actual scenario.
I tried using the distribution list (so23),but we have thousands of users in outlook. It is not apprciable to make those many entries in the list, and more over the user will not be sending the same po to same individuals at every given time.
Please share with me any docs which can give clear picture about this prosedure to be followed to either get this done or integrating outlook with sap(the last option i supppose)

  • SAP -DMS Integration with MS-Outlook

How it will possible to attach originals in DMS to Ms-Outlook. (Just Click on originals and send it to email directly without checkig out and saving that on local drive).we have SAP ECC- 6.0

    Hi,
Install EasyDMS software available freely from sap market place. It is  MS explorer integration with sap. After creating document record in it, just select the file which you can send it to MS Outllook as similar as you do to send file from MS explorer to MS outlook.

  • One-to-One Email Integration and slow Outlook performance

    Hey All -
I am working on configuring the one-to-one email integration for CRM 2007 and having issues when CRM accesses the Exchange mail store from my outlook client.  All necessary components have been installed and configured on the client as I am able to view the inbox and transfer these messages into CRM and save as activities, but the performance is VERY poor.  It seems each time CRM has to access the mail store through the MAPI client, the CPU utilization on the client shows 25 - 40% utilization (on a dual-core CPU).  This slow performance results in response times of at least 10 seconds for each mail store access that CRM has to perform.  I have tested this with both Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. Also, all systems and client are local, and network performance is not an issue.
I would like to demo this functionality to the business users, but am afraid that these response times are not accetable even for a prototype/demo session.
Has anyone else experienced these slow access times using the one-to-one email integration?
    thanks,
    John

    Hello John,
We seem to have the same problem as you do.
When we open a mail in CRM via the button "transfer to CRM" everything is still fine.
However if we would do any interaction  on the page with the opened mail (like using the back or cancel button, selecting a reference form the dropdown list, using a link on the navigation on the left, etc.) the page will look like it stopped responding  and after some time (5-40 seconds depending on the pc) will continue with it's (CRM) proccessing.
When we used the taskmanager to see what's happening we can clearly see OUTLOOK.EXE is starting a process when we used a button. And when that process is done, the page seems to respond again and the CRM processing continues.
So it looks like we have to find either what is triggering this outlook process and why it happens on every CRM action on the webgui in that page. Or why this outlook process takes so long to complete.
Using the buttons on the mail component itself does not seem to have this problem (find, save as local file, etc.)
Have you found any further clues to your (and probably our as well) problem?
    Regards,
    Joram

  • SAP Fax : Integration of MS Outlook and Genifax

    Hello SDN Users,
For our R3 System (SAP_BASIS  620 0067), we have a third party connector named "Genifax" for sending/receiving faxes from SAP.
Cuurently we have a requirement to check the possibilty for return receipt message , for every failed fax attempt from SAP, in user's inbox.
    Is this possible ?
Please provide your inputs , how can we integrate Genifax with MS Outlook.
    Thanks

    hi,
after the CDO, you should run 'office diagnostics' in your Outlook (only in Outlook 2007, but honestly, I think next step is more important)
    Next, run fixmapi.exe
look it up on your computer, right click on it and choose 'open'.
You won't see a program running or so, opening it suffices.

    Hello Gurs,
I have to integrate an SAP workflow for the approval or rejection of Shopping Carts in the SAP SRM. The mail has to go to a microsoft outlook inbox. Following which the user will have the hyperlink to log-in to his SAP inbox where he will approve or reject the SC. I have to capture the event of the creation of the SC and do the above mentioned procedure. Can any one of you kindly guide as to how this workflow is to be setup.
    With regards,
    Alok Bhardwaj

First of all , you have almost asked 3 questions in one post. and let me try to explain in brief, how can you fix it.
    1. To send mails to the outlook , ask your basis consultant o make the appropriate configurations in txn SCOT.
    2. To send mails , wher the user has the option of executiong the workitems then you have to make use of the program/ report RSWUWFML2.
    3. The workflow has to be get triggered when ever the shopping cart is  for tha you have to actiavet the event linkage or make and entry in the Txn SWE2 BOR Object Type     BUS2121     SAVED     WS14000133
