Integrate BC Ecommerce site with Royal Mail Label Printer

Hello,
Hope everyone is ok.
I am building an e-commerce website and want to use a Royal Mail Label Printer to print all shipping labels directly from the Admin > Orders section.
Ideally when a new Order comes in I would like to be able to Print Invoice & Label at the same time, this will tehn print a customer invoice via a normal Printer, and a Royal Mail Shipping label via a different thermal printer, is this possible??

Hi Luca,
It is not really designed for that and more advanced stuff. It calls Blog advanced and that is pretty basic.
Muse is a stepping stone into the web world, its not the ultimate tool.
You need to do layouts and for BC to work well in eCommerce you need to break out some extra javascript etc to get it working well. You have payment forms, shopping cart, product layouts etc all needing to setup and be managed by the client in the admin and the web company or designer/developer they work with needs to provide them with the features they need.

Can anyone tell me how to forward a web site with verizon e mail without typing out the address, if I go to file, send, page by e mail is grayed out.

Triple click in the address bar (the http address) of the browser window with the site whose link you want to pass along is open.  This should highlight the entire URL string.  Select Edit -> Copy from the menu on the browser (or hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the letter "C").   Then in the mail window click on the spot where you want to insert the URL link in your message and select Edit -> Paste from that browser window or hold down the "Ctrl" key and hit the letter "V".

E-commerce is a very large topic that requires much experience with web security, databases and processing credit cards safely.  If you are not an expert programmer, you might be much better off using a 3rd party shopping cart system that is both secure & PCI compliant such as Shopify or UltraCart.

  • Mail label printing from Address Book

I am trying to print labels for Christmas cards using the label printing feature in Address Book (Tiger version). The cards in my group include First and Last Names as well as the Spouse Name. Sometimes the label prints with the person name and the spouse in the form: John Doe and Jane. Other times the spouse is left off. I would like consistent behavior. At this point it truly seems random. I've tried deleting cards, rebooting and reentering new cards without effect. Can anyone help?
Does anyone know if the problem is resolved in Leopard? If so, I could convert my MacBook and print from it. I can't convert the MacPro yet because some 3rd party software that I rely on is not yet compatible with Leopard.

I encountered the same issue last year around Christmas time. This is what I learned about how Address Book works when printing labels:
If you have a spouse or child listed on contact card it will print them all on the mailing label IF the first name of each person is unique to your entire address book. For example, if the contact is John Brown and the spouse is listed as Susan Brown and the child is listed as Chester Brown, the expectation is that the label would print as:
    John, Susan and Chester Brown
This assumes that there are no other contacts in your address book with the first name of Susan or Chester. However, if, for example, you have another person in your contact list named Susan (the last name could be anything), Address Book will print:
    John and Chester Brown
This is because Address Book looks at all the first names in your contact list and if it sees a first name that is also listed in one of the spouse or child fields then it looks to see if the the other contact shares the same address as the contact you are trying to print. If the address is the same, then it prints properly on the label. If not, then it doesn't print on the label. So if you have two Susans - Susan Anderson and Susan Brown - Address book looks at the address on each card and determines that Susan Brown has the same address as the contact you are trying to print (John Brown) and therefore prints her name on the label.
So, to make a long story short, if you want consistent and predictable results when printing your labels you should assign a unique card to each person that you want to appear on the label and make sure that the individual cards have the same address listed on each. So, in the above example, there would be a card for John Brown, a card for Susan Brown, and a card for Chester Brown. On John Brown's card, Susan Brown would be listed as spouse and Chester Brown would be listed as child. Print John Brown's card and you should get:
    John, Susan and Chester Brown
Although this makes logical sense, it's not incredibly intuitive and not very well documented by Apple. I was hoping they would enhance Address Book in Leopard since this seems like a feature that a lot of people would use around this time of year. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time around.
The next issue that you will probably encounter is what I'm dealing with now: I want to send Christmas cards to the home address of some people on my list and to the business address of others. When printing labels, you can choose to print home addresses, business addresses, all addresses (prints two labels, one for home and one for business) and Distribution List. You can choose your preferred/default mailing address for each contact in your group in the Edit Distribution List menu item. I did this and picked the default address that I wanted for each person on my list. The proper address for each contact should print perfectly when I print labels using the "Distribution List" option. Indeed, all my contacts print to the proper address BUT spouse and child names don't print on any of the cards - they only print when you choose All, Home, or Business!
    Good luck!

  • Problem printing horizontal text in smartform with zebra Z6M label printer

    hello,
    The situation is this:
There is a Z smartform wich prints a label to a zebra Z6M label printer with the text and barcodes vertically.
The form have a command in the main windows with the parameter: S_LZPL_SETUP     '^FWR'
This label works fine, but the client want to change the form, they have told me to create a new smartform and print the info horizontally, using the same printer.
The tests i have done are the following:
create a smartform from ground and write a template text and a barcode with a new font of system barcodes. the bardoce is shown ok(it is shown horizontally), the problem is that the template text is shown vertically, as in the original smartform.
then i tried on another zebra ZM600 label printer, similar model, but not the same, and the smartform printed was ok (text and barcodes shown horizontally). So i think is a configuration setting problem, but i dont know where to search.
i have checked the label printer parameters in SPAD, but didnt find anything souspicios.
    have you any idea?
    thanks in advance.

See these if they be of any help.....
    BARCODE:
    goto smartform styles-> create a style-->
    create a character format.
under standard settings give the bar code name
use this style in ur smartform. select the data field which u want to barcode print and assign the character format
    Similarly
    SAPSCRIPT
open the form and click the character format button and
    repeat the step as above....

Go to Character formate in your form.
create a new char formate with enable BAR code AND
you can give its type too.
To Create a Bar code prefix:
    1) Go to T-code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save
    2) Now when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
The place where you are using the field value use like this
    <C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.
Which barcode printer are you using ? Can you download this file and see.
    http://www.servopack.de/Files/HB/ZPLcommands.pdf.
It will give an idea about barcode commands.

    Detailed information about SAP Barcodes
A barcode solution consists of the following:
    a barcode printer
    a barcode reader
    a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
    in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. The most important aspect is to place a parameter in the line of the form that points to the data element that you want to represent as barcode on the form, i.e. material number. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.
    Creating Bar code:
) Go to T-code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save

  • HP LaserJet P1006 - Won't print mailing labels

I just got a new computer at work and it won't print my mailing labels.  If I create a word document and print, it will print on the label paper, but if the document is a label template, I keep getting a pop-up telling me to insert the correct paper and hit "go". On my old computer I would get this warning, but when I hit "go" it would proceed to print.  Now, the printer blinks red (like the job is pending), and then the pop-up comes up again telling me to insert the correct paper again. I have attempted to change the settings in Properties to automatically expect label paper, but I keep getting the same warnings.  Please help! I need to resolve this issue because my coworkers will eventually have this same problem as they have all gotten new computers too.

    Hi there!
Thanks for your reply with all of your troubleshooting efforts!
I  have looked into the mailing label printing some more and I would suggest posting the issue on the Avery Help Center to see if they can provide a better answer. We've determined the printer will still print, so I do believe the problem is within printing the mailing labels.

  • Problems with Apple Mail and Gmail

    Hiya
I'm keen to integrate my Gmail Account with Apple Mail via POP3, however having followed the instructions given by Google - it doesn't seem to work correctly?
I would appreciate if someone would kindly help me. I look forward to hearing from someone.

    Hi,
I want to setup gmail as the default email.I've tried almost everything..google notifier, don't like to have gmail inbox in my mac apps inbox ( I could do that successfuly ).I hate it actually that I have to use entourage to send photos first to my gmail and then forward to friends. There is nothing wrong with mac mail or entourage but I just love my gmail...help please!
Apple needs to fix two things to make their mail more popular ( infact the features are great especially with new iLife'08 ) : one , mac mail should be free like all major email services ( I'll be happy with 4GB free space rather than 10GB which they are offering now with subscription ) and second they should create userfriendly environment to use any email ids as default.
    Thx

  • Barcode and mailing label report

    Hi everybody,
I am wondering if oracle report support barcode 128. If it does, how ?
Another question is how to control the number of copies mailing label printed. For example, I have a report generated a page of mailing labels, but I want some of these labels printed more copies.
    thanks,
    Diana
    null

    Hi Diana,
You have to follow these set up to get the barcode in Report.
    1. Install the barcode font thru the control panel FONT.
    2. Create a query that contains the number for barcode that you want to include in your report.
    3. In paper Design View click the barcode field, and choose Appropriate Format and Font to apply the barcode font to the field.
Regarding to print N number of copies, you can mention the System parameter COPIES.
If you want 10 copies every time you can mention it as 10. Otherewise you can display the parameter in parameter form and you can give the required number of copies.
I think this will help you Diana.
    Regards,
    Siva.

  • G-mail labels syncing with Mac Mail folders

I reinstalled my OS recently (a reinstall of Mavericks), and since have had an issue when trying to move e-mail into custom folders in mac mail.
It seems as though G-mail (which thinks of things in terms of labels, rather than folders) is failing to remove the "inbox" label when it appends whatever custom folder label I'm "moving" the message to. The result is that the e-mail appears in two places in Mac Mail. In the inbox, and in the folder where I want it to be. Logging into G-mail and removing the "inbox" label manually fixes it on a per-message basis, but what a hassel.
I've seen a few answers in the forums like, "make sure you have 'All Mail' turned on in the IMAP label settings." I've tried this and several other things, and feel like I still must be missing a little checkbox somewhere that will fix all my problems, since this wasn't an issue before reinstalling Mavericks. But it also isn't a problem when moving mail using my iPhone, which leaves me thinking that the new desktop mail app just doesn't play well with g-mail.
How can I get g-mail to remove the "inbox" label when moving things in mac mail so it only shows up in the custom folder?

Went into preferences, deleted and then re-added my MobileMe account and this fixed it. I also had some 15,000 pieces of mail in my Sent mailbox. So I archived the mailbox and cleared most of it out.

  • Creating Mailing Labels with Merge in Pages

Thanks for the link- I looked into it and found that in case you've opted to include a company name but there is none for a particular contact, pearLabelizer seems to leave a blank space for that line, which isn't particularly great either. • Can I print mailing labels with a "The ____ Family" as the name?

I know how to print mailing labels from my contacts, but I would like to be able to print the labels showing only the last name of the person inserted into "The ___ Family" in life of the full name.  Like The Smith Family rather than Bill Smith.  I was able to do this using outlook and my old PC.  As a new Mac user, I have been unable to figure this one out.  Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Mailing labels with Japanese addresses

    Hi folks,
It's that time of the year to send the holiday cards with fancy labels
and I'd been using iDress, but they've dropped off the face of the Earth.
Anyway, trying to use the mailing label designer in the Address Book and all
seems to work well except for Japanese addresses. The person's name is printed
on the bottom - after the address. Anyone know how to get around this?

I'm not entirely clear on what you mean by "their own addresses". Would this be email addresses in other IP domains, and you're finding you can't send email "from" those addresses and from those other domains from your ISP connection?
The reason you may be having difficulties here is because these "custom addresses" here are a regular feature of spam. This whether from a compromised SMTP server, or from malware installed on the server or the client systems.
The ISP may well choose to deny altered return addresses; your "custom addresses". (ISPs tend to deny the spoofing of return email addresses, and may not accept email arriving from ISP clients via port 25, as these and other techniques cut down on the volume of out-bound spam.)
If this is happening, you might have to set up forwarding of the mail messages to the target addresses, to get the message from your server along to the target address. But the message(s) will have your domain or the domain provided to you by the ISP as the return address.
Some of the anti-spam techniques -- SPF, for instance -- will also tend to prevent mail from spoofed sources from being processed.
