Integrate BODS with SAP PI

Hi
Has anyone extracted data from SAP PI web services using BO Data services 3.2. Is there any documentation how to do this?
We tried to create a standard Web Service DataSource, but we are receiving the error message:
An error occurs while browsing the meta data for the web service. An error occurred while importing meta data. Unable to resolve import document at url. Server response code: 401for url.
We also looked into using a adapter DataSource using the WSDL file we got from the SAP PI people. Then we can see the input and output schema of the web service but when we try to use data DataSource, we get the error message: XML parser failed.
What is the correct and best practice way to communicate with SAP PI using Data Services 3.2? Is there any documentation on this?
Kind regards
Erik

  • I want to integrate oracle with sap netweaver.

    Hello friends,
I want to integrate sap netweaver with oracle backend system.I've Sneak Preview trail version.. how can i do that?? need steps..or screen shots..and also that can we display that pulled data in a graphical manner like bar chart or pie chart or graphs..
    Regards,
    Murugan a

    Hi murugan,
To do this scenario there many ways from Netweaver Developer studio. You can use a web project or a webdynpro for this. For all the steps are similar.
1.Copy the Oracle DB driver file in the "lib" folder of your Webdynpro or Web project perspective.
2.Create a conection for the DataSource.
3.Use ur Statement to excute ur DML query.
    4.Iterate through your result set.
5.Finally,since your requirement is being Graphical manner,I suggest you to go for Webdynpros.
6.You have Business Graphics UI element in Webdynpros.
7.Bind the value attribute node of the Business Graphics Elements directly to the result set column from the oracle Database.
8.For this you have make sure that IGS (Internet Graphical Services) has to be deployed in your WAS.
9.You can go for any kind of charts like Bar charts or pie charts using the above.
10.After you have shown your result in Webdynpros, close your connection to your Oracle Database.
    Hope the above steps helps.

  • Integrate nagios with sap solution manager technical monitoring

    Hello,
We are using nagios to gather the alert from the CCMS of the solution manager 7.1.
Recently we start using the Sybase ASE DB 15.6 and 16 on SAP solution manager and Business suite. As the CCMS is not provided to monitor Sybaseand the only way to check sybase info is through the dbacockpit and the technical monitoring I would like to know if a concection is possible between nagios and the system monitoring in Solution manager so we can gather the needed monitoring informations.

    Hi,
As far as I know there is no standard way of doing this at the moment.

  • How to integrate XI with SAP TM

    Hi Experts,
I am currently working on SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP TM integration. According to notes in internet, as these systems cannot talk to each other directly, the message needs to be send through SAP XI. I am trying to send DELVRY03 idoc type from SAP  ECC 6.0 to SAP TM via XI. The message is successfully passing on to XI but we are not sure how to send that from PI to SAP TM. (DELVRY03 message type doesn't exit in SAP TM and an attenpt to send the document as http to SAP TM failed)
Any suggessions! I am not able to find any documnet in the net relevat to this. Appriciate any help on this.
    Regards,
    Hari

    Hi Hari,
Communication between XI and SAP TM works via ABAP Proxy. SAP provides a standard XI content "SCMTM 6.0/7.0" for SAP TM integartion. You can find it either in your SAP TM installation cd or get it from service market place.
The interface "ShipmentRequestRequest_In" is used to post delivery information from ECC as shipment request in TM system.A standard message mapping is alreday provied in the XI content.

  • JBOSS with SAP r/3 using XI 3.0

Guys I wanna integrate JBOSS with SAP r/3 using XI 3.0 SR 1, Please tell me guys where I can find appropriate guide to execute this project.

    Hi Manish,
There is no guide to execute your project, but i can give some hints how to start. From the sceanrio you are talking below you have to do the following:
    1. You can use Webservice of Java Proxies to establish communication from JBOSS to XI.
    2. From XI to R/3, you have to use Idoc Adapter.
    3. You can find more info on help.sap.com

  • WeighBride Integration with SAP

    Hi Experts,
We have a scenario to integrate WeighBride with SAP.In WeighBridge using Avery-Digitizer and MS-sql for weighing vehicle weight.
Once the vehicle entering into WB the weight reading get in to the VB application automatically. we need to capture the weight data in to SAP.
Can you suggest me how to find the .exe file in the system for execute the file from sap to capture the data.
Orelse give me some other way to acheive this target
    Thanks & Regards
    Raja Mohamed.

You need to decide which communication partner is going to start the process. This depends on whether the WeighBride is pregnant or not (how fast do you need to react?):
If not, then keep the data on the WB and schedule a job on the SAP side to collect it (often these are jobs which read the data in a file accessable to the SAP system shortly after midnight).
If yes, then you can create an RFC (or look for a BAPI) to call from your WeighBride to send the data which SAP needs as soon as the vehicle rolls onto the WB and records the data there.
In the unlikely event of SAP not being available (or loosing cabin pressure if it is a dual stack system), you might also want to consider an incremental or ping-pong approach --> WB sends the data to SAP realtime via RFC call. SAP responds by flagging the files it has processed. SAP does not process duplicate records and WB sends everything not flagged (or keeps a log of it).
You need to provide more information about your expectations. Also I suspect that the functional spec is likely to change for you in the next months...
    Cheers,
    Julius

    Hi,
As I understand, you want to integrate SharePoint with SAP.
SAP SharePoint integration enables frequent interaction with SAP processes, which means that systems are constantly being updated with newer, more relevant data. This timely interaction helps ensure the reliability of business information, and strategic

  • Integrating Webservice with SAP

    Hi Experts,
How to integrate Webservice with SAP ECC6.0( RFC)
    webservice : .Net
    regrads,
    stephen

    Read the below details
. When we use *Sender SOAP Adapter how the connectivity is happening with Remote Clients.
A:SOAP is an XML-based protocol for exchanging information in a decentralized, distributed environment.SOAP is a technology that allows XML to move easily over the Web. SOAP does this trough an XML envelope for delivering XML content and specifying a set of rules for services to follow when they receive a SOAP message. The fundamental change brought about by SOAP has been the ability to move data anywhere across the Web.
When ever XI needs to talk to a webservice you will go for SOAP adapter. If you need to enable some functionality as webservice using XI you can use SOAP Sender adapter. If you need to send request to a webservice you will go for SOAP Receiver
    SOAP Message Structure :
SOAP Envelop: The outermost element of SOAP message. The envelope element is the root of the XML document that defines a SOAP message.
SOAP Header: An optional, yet key element in architecting a distributed system around XML. The header element provides a modular way of directing SOAP servers to do processing before passing the SOAP message on. For example, it is possible to add SOAP header information that instructs a server to add transaction or authentication information. Header are also important in building piped architectures where processing is done in stages and data is modified as it is passed from handler to handler.
SOAP Body: An element that must appear in a SOAP message. The Body element is where the transported XML is loaded. SOAP makes no assumptions about the kind of XML transport in the body of a SOAP message. XML or it may take the form of remote procedure call.
also these weblogs can give you a view where you can use SOAP adapters

2.How sender SOAP Adapter get those webservices from remote clients and when exactly Remote clients will send webservices to SOAP Adapter?
It purely depends on ur client & if ur client provides WSDL file then u no need to develop it in ID and use that WSDL.WSDL describes a particular web service. Using a wsdl, we are requesting the broker to point the exact system, application, message interface. Once it is found, the SOAP channel is opened between the provider and the consumer. So the WSDL is a must to access web services.
in XI, we have to define the Web service which we want to use for the Sender SOAP channel. It is done by choosing Define Web Service from the tool menu of Integration Directory.
There is no need to code any thing. Here, what you are doing is, just exposing the sender service, channel,Message Interface as a web service.
In XI, we need to map the incoming messages to the target message( to the actual web service from the provider) format and to maintain the technical and logical routing between the sender and receiver.
Check this blog to generate WDSL file...
Exposing BAPI as Web Services through SAP XI
    Configuring a SOAP Sender Channel:
When we create a SOAP sender channel we have to define the namespace and the name of a message interface (values can be taken from Integration Repository).
Select the Quality of Service according to your interface type. If you are using a synchronous interface, select Best Effort. Otherwise, select Exactly Once or Exactly Once in Order.
    Transport protocol : HTTP
    Message protocol : SOAP 1.1
    Adapter Engine: Integration Server
    3. I need exactly how the webservices request is passing through sender SOAP Adapter.
After completion of ur scenario u can use XML spy for testing ur scenario.
