Integrated SOA Gateway or  SOA Suite  in this Scenario

iam having a client Query
The scenario of integration goes like this .
2 way direct XML Calls by calling web services not much of orchestration required during the xml flow from end to end . e biz and third party API web services .
1) The question comes which will be the best way of doing integration using xml gateway , soa integrated gateway . do these comes as deffault part of ebiz .?
2)Using SOA Suite .
3)Cost between them .
Thanks in adavance,

I tried the following as per Oracle support and able to generate the wsdl though, but not invoke the webservices.
1. Applied the patch 8607523
2. Took the translator.jar file from the patch 8857799 and replaced the current translator.jar file
3. Deploy the adapters.

  • How can we use Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite given this scenario

    I have a question regarding a very specific scenario as it applies to Adobe Digital Publishing that I am having trouble finding an answer to.
    We are a small design firm that produces small-run, proprietary-information, official documents.
    Each document is branded to one of our clients, but each document title's design is entirely unique even when done for the same client.
    Our clients then selectively distribute these documents to a small number (max 200) of their propective clients (NO GENERAL DISTRIBUTION -- NO APP STORE or iTUNES -- NO CHARGE).
    It would be nice that each of our clients could have a branded Adobe Viewer with which their selected prospective clients could view only those documents sent to them (PUSHED); NOT everyone with a client-branded Adobe Viewer would be PUSHED the same document.
    And similar to the documents being PUSHED to only specific prospective clients of our clients, that our client could subsequently PULL / delete a document from the prospective client's viewer when the document has expired (besides being promotional documents, they are legal as well, and when expired, need to be withdrawn from readership).
    So, how is something like this done?         What Adobe DPS pricing plan applies?
    Would it be a Single plan, but for each client branded viewer?  The Professional and Enterprise pricing setup is excessive given our extremely small scale of extremely specific directed distribution for no revenue from that distribution.
    Please help me understand, since I cannot find such an answer online.
    Thank you.
    Mark

    If I understand you correctly, you would need an Enterprise level account for that.

  • Oracle SOA Suite vs oracle Application Integration Architecture

    HI,
    Oracle soa suite provides the environment to make use of existing service by providing oracle adapters including Legacy,package and application adapters. futher which suituation and why need to use oracle AIA in order to make use existing resources. am little bit confuse both of this approach over integration.
    can anyone clear my doubt
    regards
    ashok.v

    when your integration is for integrating standard applications such as EBusiness uite,Siebel,SAP,Fusion Apps etc.For those application either the standard PIPs are available or at least industry specific or application specific EBOs are delivered by Oracle,then you can go for AIA.
    For small integrations SOA suite is sufficient.

  • Integration Scenario with Oracle SOA Suite and SAP

    Hi to all
    I have the following integration scenario:
    The customer have some applications in the integration landscape. All of this applications are integrated with Oracle Soa Suite.
    This customer, want to buy SAP ERP (ECC 6.0), and they want to integrate SAP ECC in their infrastructure.
    I told to them, that is necesary have Process Integration (PI), by have a services oriented architecture.
    But, I want to hear options, possibilities and comments. Where I find information related ?
    Thank you very much
    Dario

    Hi Rodriguez  ,
    you can use Oracle AS Adapter for SAP for integrating SAP system to oracle .
    some step you need to do in SAP ECC side for data transfer - like create TCP/IP RFC connection ,
    for TCP/IP RFC config. you can generate program ID in Oracle AS Adapter ..Also Oracle provides a SAP JRFC library  for integrating SAP system .
    you can find more information in given link -

    Looks like the error is in the data sent to or expected from the service in your composite. Check that audit logs and composite flow to make sure your soap message when using soapui matches what you are working with in soa suite.

  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g vs jdevstudio11.11

    In reviewing the SOA Order Booking Quikstart Guide it requires that you download and configure Oracle SOA Suite. Prior to starting this Guide, I had already downloaded the Oracle SOA Suite 11g Technology Preview which included two downloads (JDeveloper and the update to the design and runtime). I followed the install instructions from the same site.
    1) Having completed these two downloads and installs do I still need to install and configure the Oracle SOA Suite to run the SOA Order Quickstart Guide?
    2) My understanding was that the Oracle SOA Suite 11g Technology Preview included the Oracle SOA Suite, is this correct? If not correct, do I need to also install the Oracle SOA Suite (my downloaded version is soa_windows_x86_101310_disk1.zip)?
    3) When configuring the SOA Suite, per the guide, it states that I should go to http://loalhost:8888 but I do not get a connection. If I still need to install the Oracle Suite then I expect that this will solve this issue (per questions above) but if it already is isntalled with the SOA Suite 11g Technology Preview then I confused as to how to get this location to show up? I can get the SOA Console to show up but I don't know if this is the same?

    The SOA Orderbooking Quickstart is for SOA Suite 10.1.3.x. If you want to run this sample, you do have to install SOA Suite 10.1.3.x. This is the current released version of SOA Suite.
    The Technology Preview 3 is SOA Suite 11g. This version is in a pre-beta/preview status right now. It has the SOA Suite with the JDeveloper. This version has its own tutorials/samples.
    In reply to your specific questions:
    1) the two downloads for the TP3 do not apply to the 10.1.3.1 SOA Orderbooking Quickstart.
    2) The 11g TP3 does include the 11g SOA Suite and you do not need to install the 10.1.3.1 zip to run the preview.
    3) When you run the SOA Suite 10.1.3.1, the default port is 8888. When you run the 11g SOA Suite inside JDev, the default port is 8988.
    Heidi.

  • Regarding Oracle SOA suite patch

    Hi All,
    From the following URL I find that :-
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/101310.html
    SOA suite patch set 10.1.3.4 has been released.
    However not sure whether this patch set can be applied on top of 10.1.3.1 version and that too on standalone Oracle BPEL 10.1.3.1. So will it upgrade 10.1.3.1 directly to 10.1.3.4?
    Again if I am using the metalink for the 10.1.3.3 patch against patch no:-6906880, I am finding that the product name is only Oracle BPEL and not soa suite patch. So will this patch upgrade all soa suite components of 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.3?
    Again for installing Oracle SOA suite on third party servers separate installers are available from:-
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/101310.html
    so will only this installer be enough to install soa suite on third party servers or again according to the Installation guide we need to install soa suite 10.1.3.1 version also?
    Please advice me which one to use to upgrade to the correct stable version from 10.1.3.1?
    Thanks.

    6906880 is for the entire SOA Suite. This specific version is 10.1.3.3.1 MLR 8
    They are now up to MLR 12, patch 7167518. If you read the readme for these, you'll see that they patch ESB as well as BPEL.
    These patches are used for either the "Advanced Install" of the complete suite or will work with a standalone installation of BPEL or ESB.
    From other notes I've seen, you should be up to at least 10.1.3.3.1 MLR 9.
    Supposedly 10.1.3.4 is only up to the MLR 7 level so keep that in mind.

  • SOA Suite 11g OWSM (no Gateway)

    Hi
    I am currently looking at a new high level design for a SOA implementation using the Oracle SOA Suite 11g.
    We have a small issue around how to secure our externally facing web services that are exposed out to the WWW.
    Previously I would have placed an instance of the OWSM gateway in the DMZ secure tier of our infrastructure seperating this from our Application/ SOA tier with firewalls.
    However in the 11g version of the SOA suite there is no Gateway component which means that although we can still use policy enforcement points to secure the services in the SOA tier we have to let messages into the SOA / Business Tier before we can perform this validation.
    We are looking at 3 stage validation of incoming XMl validation
    - Encryption / Signing SOAP Messages using digital certificates
    - Integrity check of the XML structure
    - Username and password authentication
    Ideally we would like to perform this validation within the DMZ before passing the messages to the SOA / Business Tier but cannot see how to perform these actions within the OWSM. Does anyone have any ideas of how we can perform these actions using the 11g Suite.

    Eric
    As I put in my previous post we know there is no gateway which is why I am posting a thred on this forum.
    Securing the services at the level you have provided should only be done for internal security vilations and this is not recommended for services exposed out to the WWW.
    Securing services in the AS business tier does not prevent denial of service attacks because the services them selves will be taken down. The OWSM provided the ability to secure the services in the DMZ.
    What I need to know is how Oracle or other people are securing their services INSTEAD of using the Gateway.

  • Is it possible to use SOA Suite 11g with JDeveloper's integrated WebLogic?

    Is it possible to use SOA Suite 11g with JDeveloper's integrated WebLogic? Or do you have to install an external WebLogic?
    Thanks for help.
    Edited by: user7722720 on 07-Dec-2011 02:04

    Hi
    By default, NO it is NOT possible to deploy any SOA Applications on Integrated Weblogic Server that comes with JDeveloper. This integrated weblogic server is very light weight basic weblogic server with single domain (only 1 AdminServer) to deploy a standard J2EE, ADF Applications like EJBs, WebApps, WebServices, ADF Apps etc. BUT SOA (having BPEL, BPMs etc ) cannot be deployed.
    There is an option to upgrade this integrated weblogic server and install SOA on top of this. Like download soa installer that matches with your JDeveloper version and install soa on top of this weblogic. BUT I strongly do not recommend this, because you will not be able to upgrade iin future to the latest versions.
    Yes, its always better to install the standalone Weblogic Server that matches with your JDeveloper version. Then install SOA on top of this Weblogic Server. Then create RCU Schemas in any Oracle Database. Run config wizard and create a SOA Domain. Now integrate this in your JDeveloper to deploy any soa applications.
    Make sure that JDeveloper, Weblogic Server, SOA Software, RCU all these versions should match and they should be same.
    Thanks

  • Integration with PeopleSoft Applications Using Oracle SOA Suite 11g BPEL

    Hi,
    I'm integrating BPEL with Peoplesoft FSCM 9.0 Application on tools 8.49 using Oracle SOA Suite 11g. The BPEL invokes the web service method generated from Peoplesoft Component Interface in a synchronuos manner.
    I have deployed the BPEL in Oracle SOA Suite 11g using Jdeveloper successfully but I have problem in configuring the BPEL node in Peoplesoft side using Oracle SOA Suite 11g(FMW) . I had done the integration of BPEL with Peoplesoft FSCM 9.0 on tools 8.49 using Oracle SOA Suite 10g earlier successfully by configuring BPEL node properties as follows:
    BPEL CONSOLE : http://Host Name:8888/BPELConsole (System with Oracle SOA Suite 10g server for deployment)
    BPEL DOMAIN : default
    Using this BPEL node configuration, I was able to ping the BPEL console of Oracle SOA Suite 10g from peoplesoft and hence complete the integration successfully.
    Now in order to acomplish Business rules and other functionality, the BPEL application has been developed in Oracle SOA Suite 11g using Jdeveloper 11g. This time I'm not able to configure the BPEL node in Peoplesoft for this integration as I'm assuming there is no separate BPEL console in Oracle SOA Suite 11g. All the BPEL deployments are administered in console (11g console used for deployment of BEPL)
    http://Host Name:7001/em (System with Oracle SOA Suite 11g server - Fusion Middleware).
    So when I Configured the BPEL node property in Peoplesoft as :
    BPEL CONSOLE : http://Host Name:7001/em (System with Oracle SOA Suite 11g server for deployment)
    BPEL DOMAIN : default
    I'm not able to ping the Peoplesoft BPEL node to the Oracle SOA Suite 11g. Hence I'm not able to proceed with my integration.
    When I searched the OTN discussion forum on BPEL console for Oracle SOA Suite 11g, all threads point that there is no separate BPEL console unlike Oracle SOA Suite 10g. Also most of the articles for Integration with Peoplesoft Application using SOA 11g do not state any specific configuration setting for property of Peoplesoft BPEL node in order to integrate with BPEL 11g. The examples published in OTN still point towards screen shots of integration using SOA Suite 10g.
    So I'm not able to proceed in this regard.
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Girish

  • [Integrated SOA Gateway] Publish Java based web service

    Welcome!
    Lately I have been trying to publish Java based web service through Integrated SOA Gateway. The documentation states that:
    +"Custom interface definitions can be created for various interface types including custom interface definitions for XML Gateway Map, Business Event, PL/SQL, Concurrent Program, Business Service Object, Java (except for Java APIs for Forms subtype) and Composite Service for BPEL type."+ (Integrated SOA Gateway Developer's Guide Release 12.1, "Creating and Using Custom Integration Interfaces")
    After familiarizing myself with $FND_TOP/bin/irep_parser.pl and $FND_TOP/bin/FNDLOAD tools, I have started coding my POJOs. Initially I have come up with three classes - request/response objects and service implementation. Service implementation has been annotated with "@rep:X" descriptors according to "Java Annotations" section of the documentation. While invoking $FND_TOP/bin/irep_parser.pl I have received errors about class resolution. My solution was to transform request and response types to static inner classes. This way I ended up with one *.java source file (see below).
    * Sample ISG Service.
    * @rep:scope public
    * @rep:product AP
    * @rep:displayname My Custom ISG Service.
    public class MyService {
    public static class Request {
    private String id;
    public void setId(String id) {
    this.id = id;
    public String getId() {
    return id;
    public static class Response {
    private String data;
    public void setData(String data) {
    this.data = data;
    public String getData() {
    return data;
    * Sample operation.
    * @param request Request Object.
    * @return Return Object.
    * @rep:displayname Test operation.
    * @rep:category BUSINESS_ENTITY SAMPLE_SERVICE
    public MyService.Response testOperation(MyService.Request request) {
    MyService.Response response = new MyService.Response();
    response.setData("Some Data");
    return response;
    ILDT file has been successfully created and uploaded. However, I could not see the "Generate WSDL" button on Integrated Repository website. Is there any particular interface or superclass that my service implementation should extend? I have reviewed "PurchaseOrderSDO" example posted in the developer's guide (page 407), but I couldn't come up with a working solution. Could you provide me with more detailed tutorial/example? Which documentation sections should I read again?
    After searching through forum, I have spotted $FND_TOP/bin/soagenerate.sh script, and thought that lack of "Generate WSDL" button was an EBS defect. After running the script, I have received an error:
    Error in Service Generation.
    ServiceGenerationError: Interface Type (JAVA) Interface SubType (null) is not supported.
    oracle.apps.fnd.soa.util.SOAException: ServiceGenerationError: Interface Type (JAVA) Interface SubType (null) is not supported.

         at oracle.apps.fnd.soa.provider.wsdl.ServiceGenerator.main(ServiceGenerator.java:419)
    I would be grateful for any suggestions. Has anyone published Java based web service through ISG?
    Best regards,
    Lukasz

    I tried the following as per Oracle support and able to generate the wsdl though, but not invoke the webservices.
    1. Applied the patch 8607523
    2. Took the translator.jar file from the patch 8857799 and replaced the current translator.jar file
    3. Deploy the adapters.

  • Installing SOA Suite on the integrated WLS in JDeveloper

    Hi,
    I'm wondering if it's possible to install SOA suite on the integrated WebLogic provided with JDeveloper?
    If it is not possible, what is the recommended way for provisioning for development? Is it to install a full-blown WebLogic & SOA Suite on each developers' machine?

    Hi Mark,
    No, it is not possible to install SOA on the integrated WLS in JDeveloper. There are some technical issues preventing it now but we would like to get this working in the future.
    So yes, you can install the full WLS + SOA on your own machine for development. After you install, go into WLS and turn off whatever you are not using to shrink the footprint (e.g., you don't need both soa composer and bpm composer, you don't need both worklist and workspace).
    Heidi.
