Integrated Webcam not found anywhere on Laptop

Hi, I have been having an issue with my integrated camera. I've tried to install, reinstall, and even update my Cyberlink Youcam software, and each time it gives me the same Error "Warning, no webcam detected on this computer, try plugging in a webcam to your computer, or if you are using an integrated camera please make sure it is turned on."
Now, I know that there have been other questions like this, but here is where my problems take a different turn. Having reinstalled the Cyberlink Software as I saw suggested in the forums, I began to explore my device manager only to find that my integrated camera was not listed anywhere in it. I also do not have the HP Support Assistant, nor do I have the HP Recovery Manager as my OS, Windows 7, was installed on my computer as an Aftermarket Product.
The initial OS of my computer was Windows Vista 64-bit, however, As this computer was given to me I have no idea exactly what needs to be installed, updated, or fixed, as the auto detection tool from hpsupport.com said that I had no updates or anything else needed for my PC. I have an external camera, but would prefer to use my integrated camera as the external is rather cumbersome to have to bring with me, yes it's small, but it's one of the older models that you just sort of prop on the monitor screen with an abnormally long cord leading to the USB port.
Please, any help would be appreciated, and I am open to try nearly everything. I'm not adept enough with Hardware, however, to try and take the laptop apart, I fear I would break something, and before someone wishes to be cute and suggest I buy a new computer, I would if I have the money, so please....be serious when offering help, I appreciate the time that you take to help me in advance.

The technician does not quite finish the task but this shows how to remove the plastic frame around the screen and what you will see when you open it.

See page 5-39
Just be careful as shown in the video while removing the screen frame. You can use a plastic spatula to separate the frame from the screen casing and just go slowly. You do not need to replace the cable or go any further. Just remove your webcam and plug the new one in place. No guaranties in electronics but for $5 there is about a 90% chance you will have the webcam back.
Remember before you order this give me the full model number of the laptop so I can check it against another manual. There is actually another series also called dv6000 which is a little newer and perhaps uses a different webcam module.

I recently had to reinstall windows onto the Lenovo x201 tablet laptop and I can't get the integrated webcam to work on Google+. I tried downloading the integrated camera driver but during installation it stops about 3/4s of the way and the installation cancels. After that please perform the following steps.
1. Press Fn+F6 to enable the camera.
2. Click the Manage Settingsbutton. The Communications Utility window opens.
3. In the Communications Utility window, configure the camera settings depending on your individual needs.

Dv9000 laptop dvd drive and webcam not found. drive initializes on boot but does not show up.

The DVD/CD-Rom drive will initialize and will read a CD when inserted but it does not show up in the BIOS or in Windows. It's a Lighscribe drive. The webcam was not found either. I recently reloaded this machine for a friend back to the factory setup. Installed all additional software and everything is working but the drive and the camera. Is there any way to actually test these devices for failure? Or is there a patch or a software package I may be missing? It's a dv9000 but it has dv9007 on the bottom. And an AMD processor. If anybody has any ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.

It does not show up in either one. The camera or the DVD drive. No X's or error Triangles. I guess they could have gone bad at the same time but that's not likely. It would be one heck of a coiencidence. I am wondering if there is an alternate chipset driver or patch. Maybe a controller driver? The system has dv9000 on the display and dv9700 on the model # tag. I believe 1 is Inter and the other NVidia. But the Factory image installed the NVidia drivers.

DV6-1375dx Webcam not found

This laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit, and I cannot get the device manager to find the webcam. I have tried to manually add the device drivers and updated the BIOS. I have also tried to manaully add the device throught the "Imaging" category within the Device Manager Add Legacy Hardware wizard.
Any Ideas on where to go from here, other than buying an external WebCam?

I realize this thread is over 12 months old. But I just encountered the same problem with my DV6 1375. The webcam stopped working, and it doesn't show up in Device Manager Imaging.
I've installed the new BIOS and chipset drivers, but the webcam is still not found.

How to find the table name on which integrity constraint not found

How to acheive this
I have a lot of tables with lot of primary key - foreign key
relationship.
In plsql
when any inserts happen in the child table & the corresponding row is not present in the parent table, we get an exception
ORA-02291: integrity constraint (user1.ppk) violated - parent key not found
On this exception , in the exception block i want to trap teh name of the parent table on which the primary key for the particular child table was not there
Is it possible to retrieve the parent table in this way. I am looking for a generic plsql code block which can help to acheive this

With Windows 7 or 8 on my 2710p (built in webcam), the camera driver says "HP Webcam not found"

I had the webcam running on my 2710p with Windows 7 for quite a while, but after I plugged in an external webcam once (I think it was Microsoft branded), it's almost as if my built in webcam dissappeared. I tried formatting the computer to Windows 7 and now Windows 8 (both 32bit), hoping it that a fresh install would fix the issue, but when I try and install the sonix webcam driver from the hp drivers page for the 2710p (using W7 Home Premium 32bit drivers), it says "The HP Webcam has not found! Please plug in the HP webcam and then run installation again." The only unknown device in my device manager is the PCI controller, which I don't really care for.
What's going on here? I'm pretty tech literate but I'm kind of stumped here.

Webcams are fragile and I suspect yours has died. I think the fact that it happened while you were using an external webcam is coincidence.

Error in integration Log not found (in main memory)

Hello Experts,
We are facing an error at the moment when we send a contract from CLM to the ERP, we run the transaction BBP_ES_ANALYZE and the error that we got is Log not found (in main memory).
We already reviewed all master data integration, any other suggestions?
Also, this integration was working fine at the beginning, but Basis team applied an update to our ERP system and after this it generates this error.

Unless the activate log is set, BBP_ES_ANALYSE will not be able to provide much information.

Time Machine Issue -- Error not found anywhere

I am having a Time Machine issue in which the error displayed cannot be found anywhere: Google, Bing, Apple, etc.
The error message is: "Time Machine couldn't find some of its settings on the backup disk "BACKUP". Make sure the backup disk is connected, and that other connected disks don't use the same name as the backup disk. Last success backup: 6/21/10 at 2:52 PM"
The other odd thing is that my Time Machine folders are empty. The directory structure is: BACKUP > Backups.backupdb > TIGERMASTER > {empty}. (TIGERMASTER is my MacBook Pro's name.)
When I do a Get Info on the directories, it reports Zero kb on disk with 0 items. When I do a Get Info on BACKUP, it reports 833GB used, with about 140GB free (it's a 1TB external HDD).
Disk Utility sees folders and files, however: "Number of Folders:583,061 / Number of Files:3,725,350"

I tried to mount the disk, but it gives me the error: "The disk BACKUP could not be mounted. Try First Aid on the disk and then retry mounting." Of course, I can't back up any of the files because I can't mount the disk.

My hp pavilion dv6-6c13cl entertainment notebook pc - webcam not found in device manager.

I am a technician working on this unit for a neighbor, and it is having some issues. She has kept this unit in very good condition, never been dropped and has functioned very well. Recently she went to use voice chat on facebook as she has several times in the past and it told her it couldn't find a webcam. I tried the youcam software and it also said no webcam detected. I have tried to update devices, run all updates from HP, pulled the battery and power cord and held power button for 10 seconds and hooked it back up, reformatted and reinstalled fresh....nothing seems to work, do you have any other solutions? I see it is under warrantly so I'm not going to take it apart and make physical repairs as I do not wish to void her warranty.

Take a look at this document, which provides troubleshooting steps for the webcam not being listed in Device Manager. Hopefully, this will take care of the issue. If not and it's still in warranty, I'd suggest calling in.

Discover Integration - EUL Not Found

I'm trying to integrate a discover worksheet into Oracle Portal 10.1.4 but keep getting the error
"- An error occurred while establishing the requested connection : cf_a101
- EUL 'symdm' not found. " when attempting to specify my publisher connection details.
if i go to discover plus these connections are correct, but portal doesnt like them.
Any suggestions on how i can fix this?

inorder for the dvd drive to work please click on the start and then go to run and type regedit in it and open the registry editor then after that
1. Click plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
2. Click plus sign next to System
3. Click plus sign next to CurrentControlSet
4. Click plus sign next to Control
5. Click plus sign next to Class
6. In the left hand window pane click {4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} to select that key
7. In the right hand window pane select the UpperFilters registry key and press the delete key on the keyboard Confirm with an OK
8. In the right hand window pane select the LowerFilters registry key and press the delete key on the keyboard Confirm with an OK
9. Click on the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the Registry Editor window to close it
restart the laptop and the dvd drive should start working.

I guess ons is a replacement of opmnctl on version 10.
I could not find opmnctl on my SUSE installation neither.
Now, I tried to experiment with em by using different URLs:

netscape 8.1.2 ( by the way problem started when i - stupid me - upgraded it from 8.1 to 8.1.2)

On netscape: all 3 commands do not work.
ie: first two commands work and display all em functionality and the last one which uses my pc name - does not.
I did not mention to you that my pc uses dhcp and from what I read em DOES NOT like it. It likes permanent address.
I beleive I came accross of 2 problems:
1. netscape 8.1.2 is an uncompatible browser for em application.
2. name resolution does not work well with em. The proof for the last is error when I use http://n513gg0_d1:5501/em on ie, it does not trunslate it to ip address.
I also went to page: http://n513gg0_d1:5501 and displayed page:

At the end of it I found test examples for:
JSP
servlets
Each group provides multiple exampls. It's interesting that no netscape neither ie are not able to work with all JSP examples.
For now I will be working with ie for em and I beleive problem is solved - you should be progmatic because dhcp/em/browser compatibility is too much to worry as long as it works.
My only concern - and I only study oracle - that I view it as a major architectural flaw in Oracle 10 - this dependence on em windows interface.
One can say: "you can do the same from command prompt" But how many of us who is learning Oracle or who used to use an old ie will be able to use command interface efficently specially when you need to react fast?
And, if Oracle provides such a great tool and wants you to use it heavily, don't they have to provide a separate installation option for just a re-installation of em itself ?
I was about to scratch my test installation and re-install it again. Would it be an option in production environment?

Webcam not appearing anywhere?

Well I searched some other posts with the same problem and asked questions but the one who was helping stopped replying so I'll make my own post. I have a HP Paviliong6 with Windows 7 and recently I got my computer back from Best Buy for screen repairs (no hardware problems). As soon as I got it back I got it back I went to Skype to realize my webcam was not there. When its not there I mean it will list my CyberCam software in available webcams in Skype and when I open CyberCam it doesn't have the regular HP webcam to use with it. I looked in Device Manager and under Imaging Devices it only lists my HP Photosmart Printer. So any solutions? Oh and another thing that might help solve the problem, my free trial of Werboot Secure Anywhere virus blocker has ended its free trial and I have been trying to remove it because I don't download any bad looking files plus t has these annoying popups telling me to renew even after I uninstalled it.

That model came with a webcam, as you indicated, but since something has been done to the computer lately, that is where I would start.
Just what was done at Best Buy? "I recently I got my computer back from Best Buy for screen repairs (no hardware problems)." leads me to wonder. What kind of screen repairs are not hardware?

Integrated Webcam Not Detected

For about 5-6 months, my webcam hasn't been detected on my Pavilion dv4 4141us notebook. It wasn't that big of an issue, as I didn't use it much, but I thought I better get it fixed at some point. This error occured when I still had Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit), and I'm currently on Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit). If I go into computer management, the only device listed in imaging devices, is my HP Envy printer, and not my webcam. Both my integrated and my logitech webcam don't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both drivers and they both show up in the device manager all while "working properly". the microphones function, but not the cameras.
Any suggestions that don't involve a clean installation of windows 7?

Integration Server not found while creating Business system

While creating Business system, "integration server" name is not displayed in the drop down box. and
I m getting the error "Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "XXXXXX:50000"" while importing software components in Repository from SLD.

Please check if you have assigned the correct Integration server to the business system in SLD.
and for the the software component error check if the user has required access (roles assigned) for importing the software component.
