Integrating Excel Sheet form with SAP

Hi, we have a requirement that we created custom excel sheet form for invoice entry and upon click of a button in excel sheet, it should start SAP logon screen and after entering user id and password it should start invoice creation screen with default data that exists in excel sheet. If any of you have implemented a similar kind of scenario earlier, please let me know.

  • Integrating EC organizational structure with SAP OM

    Hi experts,
    Do you know if someone has successfully integrated EC Organizational Structure with SAP HCM OM Structure? I mean cases when the organizational struture is created and maintained in SuccessFactors and then transferred to SAP HCM OM (organizational units, positions, holders) in order to avoid double maintenance in SAP. Is there for instance an iFlow delivered by SAP to help with the integration? Just wondered if this kind of integration is worth trying or if it would too complicated.

    You should read the EC to SAP ERP integration handbook (found at http://service.sap.com/ec-ondemand) as there are certain caveats regarding field lengths, etc. Ensure that your enterprise structure in Employee Central makes sense from an SAP perspective, because certain objects (e.g. a Department) can be shared by multiple parent objects (e.g. Divisions) and you need to ensure it will make sense in SAP in terms of workflows etc.

    Dear Ritu,
    I can only assume from your Question that you are talking about advertising for job vacancies in a company through a recruitment tool like eRecruiting.
    If so, then you would be defining a posting channel wherein you would be sending the details of the job (Job posting & publishing) to the website in question.
    The frequency of sending the data, the format of sending the data & the mode etc will have to be decided with the website & an class will be written (posting channel) to take care of these details.
    I do not think SAP can control what happens at the website end for this but can only send the relevant data to be advertised there.

  • Integrating Dynamic Adobe Form with BSP: SAP Objectives setting &Appraisal

    Hi all,
    My users ask me whether wecan use Adobe Form to replace SAP standard BSP appraisal form (generated by HAP_DOCUMENT).
    I konw that it's possible to integrate Adobe Interactive form with BSP.
    But my Adobe form must contain dynamic table, with ability to insert/delete row on the form. This is just like what's there when you can adding objectives by client scripting in SAP OSA.
    Please tell me if the integration of dynamic Adobe form with BSP is possible?
    (We are on ECC 6, EPH2).

    Do you plan to replace "only" the standard non-Adobe form or to develop a whole custom application?

  • Integrating third party recruitment with SAP

    Hi folks,
    I had a question regarding intergrating the third party system with SAP HR masterdata. I am basically looking at transferring the applicant data from the Recruiting (third party tool ) system into SAP HR Masterdata. I found using the feature PAPLI something like integration could be done. I do not know how ???
    Right now, at the click of button something like Data transfer (entering the applicant id) can be manually imported into SAP Masterdata from the SAP recruiting module on the same system.
    Can such a process be achieived using  a third party tool? Is direct transfer process from the thrid party tool into SAP Employee Masterdata possible? Is the feature PAPLI (found from IMG) something like this can be accomplished?
    The version we are using is SAP 4.6C
    Any thoughts or leads in this area will be highly appreciated.

    I am not sure of any standard integration programs specific to recruitment, but through customization we can integrate third party rectt systems like People click, HRP etc.
    Develop inbound programs with ALE-IDOC system to transfer the data to Rectt tables.
    The switch will control activation of integration between the systems.

  • Se16 down load into excel sheet problem with PO number

    Dear All,
    While I download vbak table data using se16 from table VBAK ( using System > List> save --> local File --> Spreadsheet ), I get the PO number converted as error like at it's end, the last digit is becoming zero when po number is of 16 digits.  means only the last digit is converted to 0.
      For example : se16 -> vbak table -> the po numbers
    1238643210249039, when I down load in the excel sheet it is appearing as 1238643210249030
    (I means the last digit of the PO number is downloaded with error, it is always a u201C0u201D.
    if the PO number is of less than 16 digits... the above problem is not there )
    How to correct the error ? How to tell solution to functional consultant ? Can you please suggest me
    Do we need to apply any OSS message ?

    Just found that 'Numbers in Microsoft Excel can never have more than 15 significant digits'.

    What i can suggest is, put a apostrophe (') for the value of first cell content at the beginning.
    Use Format painter to apply the same for all values in that column.

    We’re implementing SuccessFactors’s Performance Management Solution only at one of the client location in Saudi Arabia and trying to integrate with the On-Premise SAP HCM and Push the employee data to SF.
    However, due to security concerns customer doesn’t want to store any data on SucessFactors cloud solution to run the PMS cycle.
    During the purchase of license for SuccessFactors SAP has demonstrated client that, in SF a unique Id will be created for each employee, which will not be the actual UserID(PERNR)from SAP, and with this unique ID actual employee data will be tagged/linked  in SF which will fetch the data from SAP On-Premise system to run  the PMS cycle.  Once the user logins in SF, based on the unique ID data will fetch from SAP On-Premise system to SF on a real time basis and when the user logged out from the SF system, data should be cleared/deleted and nothing will be saved or stored in SF with respect to employee Master Data.
    I understand SAP has provided the standard add-on for the Employee Data Scenario between SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, which could have been leveraged here for integration using PI, however with the above limitation this solution is absolutely out of scope.
      Please advice, is there any solution where with PI if we can achieve the above requirement of client.

  • Offline Integration of Adobe Forms with CRM System using Web Service

    Hi Experts,
    I have a business requirement in which the end user us given an Application Form.
    The user can save the form locally and fill the data.
    Now the requirement is that when the end user clicks on Submit Button on the form, a web service is called and the entire data in the form is sent to CRM System.
    I want to know is it possible to capture the entire data filled in the form in a web service???
    Also the other major requirement is that i need to send the application form also to the CRM system.
    I need to store the form as attachement for a Business Partner Record.
    Is it possible to capture the data in the adobe form and still attach the form as attachement in an Offline Scenario????
    Is it possible that a Web Service can be called on click of button in the form and still be able to attach the form itself as attachment???

  • Problem in integration of custom Forms with Oracle POS 13.2

    Hi All,
    I am working on POS 13.2 and it is currently configured with Ingenico signature capture device i6580. This device supports 5 services Pinpad service, signature capture service, line display service, msr service and FORMService.
    Form service is used to display all the custom forms (welcome form, thank you form etc) on the device. The same formservice is not supported by the device isc250 which need to be integrated.
    Could you please help me how can i display welcome or thankyou form on the device?

    unfortunately you can't call into a running Forms application. This will be addressed in a future release of Forms (don't ask me for the version of it because calling into Forms with JavaScript requires us to handle asynchronous events first). For now all you can do is to write an separate Applet that creates s ocket connection to a Java Bean running in Forms on teh Web. This is a bit of a hack and may have a security impact. I am forwarding this thread to some of my collegues who knows this better than I do.

    No, a sap user who wants to send mails to outlook users and the user sending the mail to outlook must get all the users of outlook in sap,in auto look up mode.(When using outlook for sending the mails,when you want to send a mail suppose to user"balaji" if you click type "b"on address bar you can see all th users name starting with b...like balaji,balram,basker etc......)
    We need a way to have an e-mail address look-up/auto-complete (preferably from the Exchange Global Address list) feature anywhere that you would put an email address into the SAPGUI interface
    Something like the email address auto-complete feature in Outlook (never mind that this is a client-side feature).Another possibility is the address lookup feature (pressing crtl-k in Outlook).
    Please see the attached document for the actual scenario.
    I tried using the distribution list (so23),but we have thousands of users in outlook.It is not apprciable to make those many entries in the list, and more over the user will not be sending the same po to same individuals at every given time.
    Please share with me any docs which can give clear picture about this prosedure to be followed to either get this done or integrating outlook with sap(the last option i supppose)

  • HTTPS communication for Adobe Offline form with SAP ABAP WAS

    Hi Experts,
    Can we use HTTPS communication method to call a SAP ABAP Web Service from an Adobe offline form?
    Example : I have a SUBMIT button in my Adobe offline form and when clicked, it populates a sales order number in the form.
    Here my SAP ABAP server from where it reads the info is using HTTPS communication method. Now if i use the same service with HTTP it works fine but if i switch the service to use HTTPS it shows me an error "Error attempting to read from file. <https://FQDN/<service name> .
    I am using self-signed SSL server certificate from SAP ABAP server. But here i also see a certificate error in my browser (IE 7.0) saying "Untrusted Certificate". Is this the reason for my above issue?
    I could not find any post in SDN giving me the answer.

    Hi,
         The Certificates are already imported into the Trusted Certificates Section. But the real Issue is regading the Adobe Offline forms. If I open the Adobe Offline forms in the Adobe reader 9.0 and the Web Service call is made based on the Https:// . It saying "Error attempting to Read the file". The Fully qualified domain name is also provided VA. I have tried to import the certificates to Adobe Reader's -  Trust Identities but still it is not working . If I switch the webservice authentication method to Http:// then it would work. ADS is already configured with SSL. And the HTTPS:// based WebService embedded in the Adobe Interactive Form is working ,if the form is Online in the Browser (integrated in the Webdynpro Abap UI element).
    Is there any other way to Add SSL Certificates to Adobe Reader , so that Https:/ based webservice will work if the Form is opened in Adobe Reader 9.0.
