Integrating Google Earth with OBIEE

Hi
Does anyone know how to integrate google earth with OBIEE ? I know how google maps work, but i am not looking for that.
Any help would be awesome !!!

I have created a server under admin server. Actually i was trying to integrate weblogic server with obiee.. as i am very new to weblogic i cudn't find the reason for the error.

Integrating google maps in obiee 10g

i am using IE and after filling the boxes in narrative view in preview it is showing "retrieving view"...
but even after long time it displays nothing...
do help me.

Integrating Google Calendar with Ipod

Since you can view ICAL files on your ipod, but it is a pain to download them one by one, I wrote a little script in perl that lets you, with one click, download multiple Google Calendar calendars directly to your ipod (use as disk needs to be enabled). It sure beats the 6-7 clicks per calendar otherwise to keep your Ipod synced. I put it in my blog at http://johnnygizmo.blogspot.com if you are interested. Feel free to ask questions here or there. You need an installation of Perl on your computer for it to work. Enjoy!

I just put up a new version that is not a script, rather and exe file, that fixes a little problem with the ini file. I have reports that this works well with both 5th gen ipod and ipod nano.

Issue in integrating Essbase cubes with OBIEE

I am trying to use Essbase cubes as datasource in OBIEE for generating reports,but the issue is in generating , No columns in fact table of cube in BMM layer.

in that case it's as I thought:
Or did you just not specify any measure hierarchy?You tried this...
In BMM layer i made this dimension as fact and tried to create reports but not use....which isn't the way. First of all your cube seems to be built quite bizarre since it doesn't even provide a default measure hierarchy so I'd have your Essbase guys check that.
As for the OBIEE side: the key is the physical layer. BMM's already too late. In the physical cube object, you must define one of the hierarchies as the measure hierarchy (since your cube doesn't seem to provide it; see above):

Problem with Integration Essbase cube with obiee

Hi Everyone,
I am in a OBIEE where i need to use Essbase cubes as source for generating OBIEE reports.I am able to import the cube successfuly into Physical layer and when i drag it into BMM layer its getting splitted up into Facts,dimensions and hierachies. No measure in fact table of cube in BMM layer. What i got to know was all the meaures what all needed for reporting are into one hierachy and when i get it into BMM layer its getting converted into Dimension. Here i tried to generate reports by making dimension as fact but no use.
Please suggest me ,any other ways to get it.

Remove Zoom scale of Google maps in OBIEE 11g Mapviewer

Hi,
While integrating Google maps with OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 , we are able to see two Zoom scales one for BI layer and another for Base map layer (Google Map).
When we select the former Zoom scale (BI Layer) , our views have been placed in exact countries. But when we select latter one, only base map i.e., Google map is zooming without upholding the views(Color fill,Image,Bar Graph,etc.,).
So is there any way to bring synchronization between two layers with one zoom scale.
Kindly help me to sort out this issue.

Can I open google earth file (kmz) in ipad (with google earth app installed) with any html dps trick?
I tried with "HTMLResources/file.kmz" and don't work…

You might want to try having a hyperlink in your document that links to a web location that has the .kmz file located. Make the hyperlink open up in Safari, and you should be good there.

Over query limit while integrating google maps

I am getting over query limit error when i want to display more than 11 records while integrating google maps in obiee. I can display upto 11 records in the map.If i increase the row limit its throwing the error.
Error: Geocode was not succesfull for the following reason: Over_query_limit
How to overcome this error,in order to fetch more than 11 records in the map?

This gives the count as per the state in the google map, if we click a state it will show us the count, but its holding good only for 11 records in the map

I had a look at the
cf_googleMap
Documentation out of curiosity. Apparently, putting
<cf_googlemapshow/> at the end, just before the closing body
tag, solves a number of Javascript issues.

Lion + Safari made Google Earth stop working properly

Upgraded to Lion now Google Earth Plugin won't work on Safari anymore. It works perfectly on Firefox, Chrome and Opera. I would like to keep using...please help. Thanks.
It worked FLAWLESSLY (Safari & Google Earth) on Snow Leopard before upgrading to Lion.

No problem using Google Earth with Safari 5.1.1 on Lion v10.7.2 here.
Perhaps the preferences are corrupted.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the following files to the Trash.
com.google.GoogleEarthPlugin.plist
com.GoogleEarthPlus.plist
com.GoogleEarthPlus.plistlockfile
Restart your Mac. Try launching Google Earth.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

On Arch64, a standard install from AUR succeeded, but GE crashed on startup (error = "unknown graphic card")
I then recompiled the package with _64=1 : GE did launch, but 2 issues remained : no panoramio and search not working.

Question about Google Translator with flags for BC website

I am looking for a solution for my website , I am using Business Catalyst as platform to create the website. I am looking for simple one code/plugin/HTML solution which I can copy paste in the website for the translation. I want to put google translator with flags on my website in the top right hand side. I want to translate my website in 9 languages and want to put 9 country flags on the top right hand side, which translate languages on click event on "same page" , I want the translation must take place at the same page after clicking on the flag. How-ever I successfully integrated google translate with dropdown option but want to integrate google flag translations on my website.
Please let me know what can be done here.

Don't use google translate, it's the worst user experience you can ever give a user and makes the site look like it was designed by a 12 year old with a grammer problem. Machine translation is no were near anything good for a production website currently and even more so for non latin languages like Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc.
Case and point, throw a few lines of text into google translate, then reverse the translation back to english, you'll see my point.
