I'm looking for solution to enable Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 integrates with Oracle Fin apps. I'm not familiar with Oracle Finance, please advise the most common scenario applied. I knew Compaq IOrchestration can do this integration, but if possible, I'd like to prevent the use of other 3rd parties product.

In our project we are trying to protect a applicaiton via Oracle entitlement server. And the login page for the same is hosted on the Apache server. But we are facing issue with the Log In page.
My apache is installed int he c:\apache folder.
The ssm folder for apache is c:\bea\ales32-ssm\apache-ssm\instance\asm1\config
the wles_module is at c:\bea\ales32-ssm\apache-ssm\lib\mod_wles.dll
I have added the follwoing lines in my httpd.conf file

When i connect sqlfire with oracle using DBsynchronizer It shows the error message as Wan is not supported for default license
When i connect Sqlfie(my system) with oracle( another system) using JDBC Rowloader .nothing is happening after some time it shows the error like"time out for pool connection to archive database.When i increase the time out also nothing is happening.
what is the reason for above two errors(I stated in the pragraph.)
is it beacuse of wan netwrok not supported by default evaluation license?

1)Portal is an integrated component of 9iAS. You need to download all of 9iAS and select the minimal install option.
2)We haven't tested this configuration, but as long as you set up apache appropriately to use different ports than the existing software it should work.
3)Portal requires 8.1.6.2 Enterprise edition or 8.1.7 Standard edition. Personal Edition will not work.

Iam facing a problem with visualage 3.5 persistence name server with Oracle DB. I configured PNS with oracle driver (thin driver).
I could start the pns server, Servlet Engine.
I loaded my application with PNS and oracle thin driver is not executing any queries.
Without PNS, directly interacting with Oracle DB thru JDBC also works fine.
Has anyone tried to use PNS with Oracle successfully?

check these things in u r mac before launching PNS..
1: Is OracleDriver is there in the path i mean in the PNS path..
2: Right click and check the properties...
3: and also check the env properties and launch the PNS if PNS is launched then u can work on it...

I have stopped IIS and restarted HTTP server
i get the default page when i enter http://<server>/dev60html/runform.htm
but when i enter port of forms server and web host as the machine name it takes along time

Configuring Apache HTTP Server with Oracle Weblogic Server plugin

I have a scenario of OIM 9.1.0.2 on Oracle Application Server 11g and Weblogic Server Apache HTTP Server.
Oracle WebLogic Server is configured in cluster (node1 and node2), also use the Oracle Weblogic Server plugin for integration with Apache.
One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead.
When the mode is node1 and node2 stop start mode and try to access the management console of Oracle Identity Manager, the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node, and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel.

Note that the plug-in does a round robin load balancing, for example, in the case of three server (1,2,3) it does 1-2-3-1-2-3-1...
with server 3 going down it does 1-2-1-2-1...

This is somewhat strange, do you have session binding turned off?

I have found that Exchange will frequently take 4 hours to send notifications and 2-4 hours to process notifications that are replied back to it. Outbound messages generally fail with 451 Timeout waiting for client input errors, but finally send after about 4 hours. Installing OMS 10.2.0.5 on server with Oracle 11.1.0.7

IBM w/AIX 6.1
I am wondering if there would be any expected issues to download and install the latest version of OMS (Oracle Management Server for Grid Control), 10.2.0.5 onto a server that already has Oracle 11.1.0.7 running on it.
I intend to use the 11.1.0.7 for the actual OMS repository database, (as well as my RMAN catalog database).
While I am fairly certain that there are no compatibility issues with running the 11.1.0.7 for the OMS repository database (and RMAN catalog databases), but what I'm concerned with is the order of installing.
As noted, I have already installed the 11.1.0.6 and upgraded to 11.1.0.7.
Can I simply download and install the OMS 10.2.0.5? I'm assuming it would just put everything into a separate Oracle Home such as /oracle/product/oms (or something like that), while the 11.1.0.7 is located in /oracle/product/11.1.

Does anyone have any experience with installing latest version of OEM (10.2.0.5) on a server already having a later version of Oracle RDBMS (11.1.0.x)?

Integrating portal/identity server with netegrity siteminder?

Has anyone integrated identity server/portal server with Netegrity Siteminder for single sign on?
Both products seem to support SAML and the Liberty Alliance project. Can a new auth module in the identity server just exchange the appropriate messages to create a single sign on token in netegrity and then validate the token on each request?

We are running Identity Server 6.1 on Solaris.
The logs are in /var/opt/SUNWam/debug/
The most useful one is amAuth. You might also want to look at amAuthInternal, amSession, amAuthLDAP, and amAuthContext.
If you are seeing these, checkout AMConfig.properties (in /opt/SUNWam/lib). It should have the log level set to warning or message for you to get all these logs. Here's the setting from my AMConfig.properties:
