Integration between CRM-cProjects-PS-SD

Hi everyone!
We are implementing CRM Services and SAP ERP PS, MM, SD, HCM, FI and CO. The customer has projects in which they sell hardware, software and offer different services (that can be offered with internal or external resources). Every project has many practices involved.
We are presenting the following solution. We would be planning the whole project in PS, creating the quotation in SD based in ths PS costing. The billing plan would be created based in the project milestones.
The customer is requesting the implementation of cProjects in conjunction with CRM services for the solution of their requeriment. I've been analysing cProjects, and don't really see this feasible. I could execute the internal activities with cProject, but don't find a suitable way of executing the logistic scenarios. For example:
-In the case of the materials requeriments, how can we execute the cycle? Should we create CRM service orders to procure those materials? In the case of PS, I can add materials and trigger the purchase requisition or the reservation, but in the case of cProjects?
-In the case of the milestones-based billing, how can we connect the cProject with the billing? In PS  can we link the milestones with the billing plan, but in the case of cProjects?
-In the case we use CRM service orders linked to the cProjects and the service order suffers a delay, how does this affect the project? Does the activities of the cProjects suffer also a delay due to the delay in the service order?
-In the case we implement cProject like I mentioned, do we need CRM Sales to invoice the project?
Thanks in advance to all!!
Regards.

In addition to Pramod's inputs, do note that materials and services for the quotation items can be determined in 'Easy Cost Planning' in cProjects.'Easy Cost Planning' enables you to quickly calculate planned costs in the SAP System for Internal Orders or WBS Elements.Do peruse the scenario in the following link for an improved understanding:

  • How does the integration between CRM and SD occur

How does the integration between CRM and SD occur?  Is only via ALE and are there config steps in CRM to ensure the correct data mapping between CRM and SD?
So, if I create an order or quote in CRM how is it then created in SD?  Or do they share the same data store.
    thanks

    Hi John,
Here is good documentation regarding Data Exchange for Sales Transactions: the CRM Enterprise and the ERP System are two different repositories, If you create the Sales Order in CRM then they will be replicated into SD (using CRM Middleware, BDoc's)

    Dear SAP Experts,
I have a same requirement with Neeraj about how to integrate CRM with RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management).
As I know, the Business Partner is one of the integration points between them. When we use Opportunity Management (CRM), the opportunity will be transformed to a sales order in SD module (ERP).
Would you please help me on the following queries:
1/ Can we transform the opportunity (CRM) to a contract in RE-FX module (ERP)?
2/ Is there any link between Product (CRM) and Rental Object (RE-FX)?
Any replies/suggestions will be high appreciated.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you very much in advance.

How can i connect the 2 systems?
And how can i make the import?
Do you know the steps that i have to follow? there is a guide concerning this topic?
    thank you

Usually in this case you use IDOCs to get the integration done between ERP and CRM. However, you need identify what are the business process, and which IDOC's need to be used for the same.
Here are couple of documents which will tell you what configuration needs to be done.

  • Integration between CRM OnDemand and OBI EE

Does Oracle provide out-of-the-box ETLs, data mapping and everthing else required from the Siebel CRM OnDemand application to the Oracle Business Intelligence applications ? What does the customer need to do pull out data from the Siebel CRM OnDemand and use the data from the OBI platform?

CRM On Demand has an inbuilt Analytics reporting object which is developed off OBIEE or the traditional Siebel Analytics. Having said that, it is not possible for you to run complex SQL queries and get complex reports within the CRMOD UI. R16 of CRMOD does have some more added features but I wouldn't think you can do things like - built complex SQL Structures, or schedule a report etc.
If you want to use OBIEE and to pull data out of CRMOD, I would suggest use the existing WSDL's provided within CRMOD and develop web services that would dump the data into the OBIEE data structure and use OBIEE for all your report needs.
Hope this helps. If you find a better way, please let me know. I would like to explore that.

  • Integration between SAP business one to SAP CRM, CRM to ECC 6.0

Scope: We have been told to prepare Integration process which is a part of out project plan. Here we have 2 business cases where our SAP XI comes into picture.
    1.     SAP business One talks to SAP CRM through XI to exchange DMS business data.
    2.     SAP CRM talks to SAP ECC 6.0 through XI to exchange master data.
Suggestions:  What kind of adapters (includes proxies) do we prefer to get the data transferred in both cases with high performance level.
Appreciate your response with proper reward points.
    Thanks,
    Kumar.

    Hello,
you can use Proxies for performance benefit for transsferring data between CRM to XI and ECC to XI system.
Also you can use ALE -IDOC communication between your ECC system and XI for master data communication

  • Very Very Urgent Please help me  Integration between OIM and Siebel CRM

1.The system is proprietary of nature and hence not out of the box provisioning agents exist to integrate the system.
    Integration options for COPS(Customer Organisation Profiling System) ) is a proprietary CRM system holding contact, billing and other profile information as the authoritative source on customers;
I need complete solution. Please help me its very very urgent.

As mentioned in your Subject, if it is integration between OIM and Siebel CRM, we have an OOTB connector available for it. Even if your application is similar to Siebel CRM, you can refer the OOTB Siebel connector and do some reverse engineering on it to make a similar one..
Hope it helps.. otherwise .. all the best and go ahead with writing a new connector and share your exp with the other forum members.
    cheers

I need help in the area of VMS Integration with CRM 5.0 system and the necessary settings for this.  Here VMS is going to be the Back-end system for CRM and the Data Flow between CRM and VMS vise versa.  We are using IC winclient as a channel for the pre and post sales processes.
suggest me some documents and links in this regard.
    Thanks and regards,

    Hi,
Yes, You can create one system object with 3 different "Alias name" so one alias name used on one client ans so on...
    In user mapping  like
    alias name1=Client1
    alias name2=Client2
    alias name3=Client3

  • Integration between "SAP PI-Lotus Notes/Domino"  "SAP PI-PeopleSoft"

    Hi all,
I have been working  with XI (most of the time integrating SAP systems and third parties) for years but now i face following situation, i have to integrate SAP systems with Oracle systems, Lotus systems, Peoplesoft systems and so on, using XI.
I have achieved SAP-XI-Oracle integration using JDBC adapter but i do not know what is the best practice when trying to do the other integrations.
I ve read that adapter engine XInotes is a good approach in PI-LOTUS scenarios, so the JDE adapter (iway) for the PI-PEOPLESOFT. But, is there a way to achieve my requirements with the standar adapters without too much effort in the backends and not too much programming in XI?
i know there is no perfect solution but any help will be much appreciated (and of course, rewarded with points)
Thanks in advance and best regards,
    David

    Regarding Peoplesoft
think it all depands on the amount and types of interfaces and data needed needed to be transfered between the systems.
We need to go over the Iway solution and see what are the featyres given by the adapter.
(from a brief read of the iway pdf) i saw they use the same methods (XML,SOAP,IDocs) to interact between systems.
the adavtage of Iway might be the fast implementation (out of the box maybe) and that there might be no development needed...big adavantage.
But some times the use of XI fits better because of the costs of the adapter or the ability to be a hub and send this data to other systems as well (again I'm not familiar with I-way solution so maybe they can do it to if they have a development enviorment for the adapter).
I reccomand you to contact I-way and get as much info as possible then decide wether its better to go with XI or the adapter.
I give you an example from SAP...
the CRM solution comes with an application called data migrator or something like that, this tool synchronize master data betweenn the SAP CRM and SAP ERP...this tool was written for the CRM and becasue of that fits well for the integration (4000 software developers can't go wrong.... )
For this integration between the systems XI is not a match for my opinion and it will take some developments in XI (the easy part) and in ABAP for the CRM and R3(not so easy part) to integrate thouse two.
    So......
Go over the Blue print or understand the customer integration needs and scenarios.
Then decide according to the I-way information on the adapter which way is the best..XI or 3rd party adapter.
By the way webmethod is an instegration tool like XI and as I recall they dont have a Peploe soft specific adapter.

    hi

A more detailed call list generation program for CIC.
New ERMS (Email Response Management System)
    More object oriented
No webserver, no portal... stuff directly run from CRM Server.

  • Integration Opportunity CRM with Quotation ERP without Material integration

    Hi Experts,
We have a partner with a SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP CRM 5.2
The systems SAP are uniquely integrated into the customer master.
Now they ask us to integrate the sales flow between CRM Opportunity with ERP Quotation, but without item data because the material master data are not integrated.
Is this possible? What problems can we find for the implementation? would be helpful if someone could guide me in steps.
    Thanks a lot,
    Regards,
    José Manuel Romero

In this case what you can do is to follow the reply that I posted to your other query on this and you can then skip to maintain the copy control settings for the Item to Item copy. That is, maintain only the Header to header copy control in ERP.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks & Kind Regards,
    Neeraj Sharma
