Integration Builder Locks Up when choosing target message

Hi all,
I have a xsd file which I have uploaded to XI as an external definition. When I try and select it as a target message in message mappings the program locks up. I get as far as as selecting my root node but as soon as I hit Apply the program locks.
The schema is valid (I have validated it in XMLSpy) and I have used it successfully on a different XI box.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Alistair

Duncan,
What do u mean by Integration Builder Locks Up? You are throwing out of Integration builder or what?
It should not happen. If that particular XSD is only locking then can you check are there any lock objects under your name for the same object. If yes please unlock and try once again. Also check if the same object is under any other change list?

  • KMail locks up when composing/sending message

When composing a message KMail will lock up and become unresponsive. This can also be caused by clicking the Send button.
This is a real pain since I can't reply to any e-mail. I've reported the bug here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/22254
    Package version: kdepim-kmail 4.4.9-1

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.

  • Safari Locks Up When Choosing "Browse Files".

Hey there. Every time I click Choose File, or Browse for files, for example while uploading images, Safari locks up and freezes. If I leave it alone for say, 5 minutes, it will fix itself, and sometimes it works fine. If I drag the image into the choose file area, I can upload, I just can't browse for files.
Any idea how to fix this?

I'm running Safari 4.0.4. By the way, this happens with all browsers I have (Opera, Firefox, Chrome) when searching for files.

  • Siri locks up When responding to messaging

Windering if anyone else is having this issue as both my father and I are experiencing complete iPhone lookups when using Siri to create or respond to messages that come in.  It is not completely consistent, but most often, if we receive a text or iMessage and attempt to "reply" via Siri, the phone locks up on the send portion. Siri goes through the prompts of what would you like to say, then reads the message back and prompts to send. When we reply to "send", Siri then states "Alright, I'll send the message, but the mic indicator keeps circling and the entire iPhone 4S locks up where only a hard reboot will clear it. This can happen when on the lock screen or home screen.
This situation also happens when you ask Siri to generate a message, but typically not until a couple of messages have gone back and forth leveraging Siri then the phone again locks up on the "send" portion in the same way.
Simply odd and frustrating behavior. There are a few times it will go through ok, but most often it will lock the phone up.  That said, the dictation feature never hangs.
    Thought anyone?

This might be a sensitive question, but are either of you jailbroken? Both my father and I are, but before the anti-JB stigma pops into this thread, I was trying to see if this was the possible issue with or without being jailbroken.
From our side, we have taken a couple of steps in the last week and the problem has greatly diminished or may be completely gone. It does involve the JB, I would be happy to share the information if you are interested.

  • Unable to import Basis (R3) objects to Integration Builder

I am trying to import RFCs and Idocs to the Integration Builder, but am getting the following message.
Unable to establish connection to R/3 system sapdtdb (system=00, client=010) Troubleshooting tips:
    Is the target system online?
Check the connection data (note that server names and groups are case-sensitive)
Tips for administrators (see the configuration guide for more details):
Does the user have the required authorizations in the target system?
Is the target system configured correctly in "etc/services"?
I have checked the radio button on the software component for allowing Import Of RFC and Idoc interfaces.
I have checked on both the PI and the R3 system that the entries in SM59 are correct and that login and connections are permitted.
On our old XI system, I am able to import objects, but on our new PI system I am getting the above error.
Does anyone have any other possible solutions to this please?

    Chris,
Please check whether have done all the steps given in this link or not for your new PI system:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/xi/sapR3%28Idocs%29ToXI--Steps+Summarized&
If you done all this you should be able to import the IDocs and RFCs without any problem.

    Hi,
check whether your xi server is working fine or is it down. If you are not able to open the integration builder, what is the exact error message you are getting.
How are you trying to open your IB.
Are you able to login to SAPGUI for the XI client.
If so try to provide the tcode sxmb_ifr and check whether you are able to open the IB.

I could Create a Name space, Message types and Interfaces in Integration Builder - Design
But When I open Configuration Wizard, Internal Communication in Integration Builder- configuration, it is giving a exception : java.lang.NullPointerException.
Can any one help me in resolving this.

    Hi,
In Exchange profile chack the SLD , http port for Integration Bulder properties.like IR,ID , i hope it will try to check for the SLD info , if it is the first time of XI using , you need to check in Exhcnge profile .
if it is not the first time then refresh the SLD cache..

Do you have the values in the exchange profile setup correctly...

Check the exchange profile parameters in url

  • Flex Builder Locks up on Shutdown

    Hi All,
I have been having trouble shuting down flex builder.
I eventually after several hours of pulling hair and teeth
out tracked it down to having the environment variable "CLASSPATH"
    set without a trailing ";"
If the problem was causing FB not to start I might have
looked at the classpath variable earlier, (it stopped StarTeam
    starting)
    Setup :-
    IBM T43 Laptop 1GB RAM
    Windows 2000 SP4

  • Integration Builder - runtime data cache - Error when creating cache list

    All,
When I go into the Integration Builder --> Administration --> Runtime tab --> Data Cache
I get a message saying "Error when creating cache list".
All cache areas look ok and I do not see any other error.
    Also, RFC INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI looks good.
    Please advise.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
Use transaction SXI_CACHE to update the Integration Directory cache. Alternatively, you can use the following URLs to update the CPA cache. Use XIDIRUSER to refresh the cache.
For complete cache refresh u2013 http://<hostname>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
For delta cache refresh u2013 http://<hostname>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=delta
If this does not solve the issue, check transaction SLDCHECK to ensure that connection to SLD is available. If the connection fails, check the configuration in the transaction SLDAPICUST. Make sure that the password maintained is correct and the maintained service user is not locked.
Now in the Integration Repository go to Environment u2192 Clear SLD Data Cache. Also go to Integration Directoy and clear the cache using menu Environment u2192 Clear SLD Data Cache.
Open the XI Start Page and click on Administration. On the Repository tab, choose Cache Overview. Refresh the cache using the buttons/icons on the right. Use XIDIRUSER to refresh the cache. Carry out cache refresh in the same way on the Directory and Runtime tabs.
    regards,
    ganesh.

if you are using the correct host name and port (5<SYSNO>00)
try and go to home page@
    http://host.fqdn;5<SYSNO>00/index.html
try and add the /rep/start/index.jsp instead of index.
Also maybe worth trying to run the RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES from se38.
