Integration Components DATEV HR

Hallo Zusammen,
ich bin gerade mit der Übergaben der DATEV HR Daten unter 8.8 PL12 dran. Leider wird bei mir keine Übergabe-Datei erzeugt. Laut Doku ist im Vorfeld auch nichts einzustellen bzw. zu konfigurieren, außer natürlich die Installation von den IC generell.
Hat das bei euch reibungslos geklappt?
Hat jemand eine Idee?

ja, die Pfade wurden bei der Installation hinterlegt und sich auch bekannt. Leider taucht die Datei dort nicht auf.
Laut den mir vorliegenden Dokus soll es nach erfolgreicher Dateierstellung auch eine Nachricht/ ein Alarm geben welcher den Dateinamen ausgibt. Dies ist leider auch nicht der Fall.
Die Datenbank in der ich aktuell teste ist die DB die bei der IC Installation angegeben wurde. Ich war aber neugierig und habe gerade mal einen zusätzlichen Test-Mandanten angelgt und ja, du hast Recht: Der "Übertragen" Button bleibt ausgegraut.
Es ist mir ein Rätsel. Vielleicht muss der Message Wizard herhalten

Did you try to install integration services offline ?

2 Fragen an die SBO 8.8-Spezialisten:
a) Wir haben die Outlook-Integration installiert.
Dabei bin ich auf ein Problem gestossen, zu dem es bereits einige Foreneinträge gibt.
Aber ich muß nochmals nachhaken:
Gibt es in SBO 8.8 PL 17 die Möglichkeit, für die E-Mails der einzelnen User deren
eigene Signatur zu hinterlegen?
Oder kennt jemand einen "Workaround"?
b) Für die iphone-Anbindung ist die Installation der Integration-Components erfolgt.
Aber die Verbindung zum B1iserver funktioniert nicht.
Wahrscheinlich liegt dieses an dem Dienst SAP-Tomcat, der sich nicht starten läßt.
Ich habe bereits lange im Internet geforscht, bin aber bisher nicht fündig geworden.
Hat vielleicht irgendjemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?
Es wäre schön, wenn sich zu diesen Themen jemand melden würde.

Hallo Marielen,
schau doch mal in die Windows Ereignisanzeige. Dort sollte eine Fehlermeldung abgelegt werden, wieso Tomcat nicht startet.

Using DISM Cmdlets to upgrade Hyper-V Integration Components

Hi guys,
I'm using the Deployment Imaging Servicing Management (DISM) Cmdlets to programmatically upgrade Hyper-V integration components as VMs move about my environment. My code works fine, but I have a little issue:
I'm using a call to 'Add-WindowsPackage' to slipstream in the CAB package in. This works, but sometimes 2008 R2 VMs will immediately boot into the system recovery console -seemingly for no reason. This never happens with 2012 R1 or R2 VMs. This obviously
makes this process not unattended, and I want it to be totally unattended (with reporting to catch stuff).
Does anyone know a.) when this is happening and b.) can I somehow remove this recovery boot flag, is it like the dirty bit?
The weird thing is if I just progress into the recovery console something is changed in the VM and then it will boot just fine. There isn’t a problem with the IC upgrade, but something thinks there is. The logs for the DISM cmdlets are no help.
I don’t have System Centre and wont be using it, FYI.

Just a little clarification, Please also make sure you had added the right Integration Services package version to WIM file, because each version has a different installation package, it is very important that you select the correct package for the appropriate
OS.

Can't install Virtual PC Integration Components wXPSP3 virtual machine

Install fails when trying to install one of the drivers - vpcgbus.inf. I tried installing the driver manually and I get this error:
Fatal error during install. The device status in the properties of the devices are:
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
Any ideas?

Integrating components

I am using a tilelist to select an image. The image then
directs the text area to display relevant text, but I am unable to
get the FLV player to perform the same action.

There are lots and lots of 3rd party components and libraries in Java. All you have to do to use 3rd party components is to add jars to the classpath and write some code which uses the classes.

Hyper-V 2012 R2, integration services issue on multiple VMs

I came to you because we encounter a technical issue on one of our Hyper-V (2012 R2).
Our backup (Veeam backup in last version) are still failing with error :

I already try to disable, then enable the operationalStatus :

MBAM 2.0 with SCCM Integration: Recovery Audit Reports errors.

I have installed MBAM 2.0 with SCCM integration according to the following website:

Components installed:
Integration components on SCCM 2012 server
Compliance and Audit Reports on SCCM SQL Server
Recovery and Audit Databases on MBAM SQL Server
Self-Service and Administration Monitoring on MBAM Server
Everything is running correctly: SCCM sees compliance reports, keys are populating into the Recovery database. Self-service works correctly as tested.
However, the Recovery Audit Report in the /Helpdesk webpage reports an error:
"Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
Browsing to the /Reports page on the MBAM SQL server (with reporting) yields an empty page.
If I install the Audit and Compliance reports onto the MBAM SQL server, those populate (but are empty, as SCCM is handling that component), however, the Recovery Audit Report still yields the same error.

You can put the Audit Reports on the SSRS instance on SCCM Server. But it has its own limitations. What if you want to configure the encrypted configuration within the MBAM environment using SSL certificate. In that case you have to take special
care while using the SSL certificate for configuring the reporting Point as it has been also used by the SCCM.

We have hit recently a situation with some customers who would like to migrate integrator related metadata from one instance to another (integrator, components, mappings, layout, parameter list).
They are doing this using FNDLOAD. For example

The problem is that after trying to create a document using the new BNE elements they are getting various errors.
No parameter list definition at parameter list idor No Mappings exist for the specified Content.

I couldn' find anywhere this process being documented in an official document or Note.These customers have used some external non-oracle references fordoing so.
Is there anywhere a document giving more information on how this export/import is supposed to work?

For mapping there is a possibility that you might have migrated wrong content. You need to migrate content which is none instead 'text'

Integrating Struts, Tiles, and JavaServer Faces

I have tried some sample applications in jsf. They are working properly. Basically, our application is based on struts. We fee that that it will be difficult to convert struts based application into jsf. So we plan to integrate jsf components into struts application. I found a site http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/j-integrate/ where jsf-struts integration material has been given. For this integaration, struts-faces.jar is required. when i try to start the server after struts-faces-1.3.8.jar placed in Tomcat 5.5\common\lib folder, server is not started properly. I have found struts-faces-1.3.8.jar in struts-1.3.8-lib. Should I user struts-faces.jar? if it is so, Where to find struts-faces.jar Please provide a solution for this problem.

Wow, Srikanth. What a great contribution! I'm right at the begining of the design phase of a project that will hopefully go live in March and while I had already settled on a Tiles/Struts approach, I was really wanting to bring in JSF as well. I'm glad to see that someone is actively working on the integration components. I hope that the code modifications you propose make it into the Struts-Faces libraries soon.
One question. While I've been deveolping J2EE webapps for a couple of years now,
I'm still a little new to the Struts/Tiles arena. After reading your article at IBM developerWorks I wasn't able to ascertain whether or not what you proposed worked with the idea of individual controllers for each tile, which is a pattern that my project will need to adopt (I read about it in the short article here - http://www.theserverside.com/resources/article.jsp?l=Tiles101).
Can you shed some light on the subject? Will the modifications you proposed allow Tiles to continue to work in that fashion?

Currently JSF, Struts and Tiles cannot work together
out of the box.
Craig McClanahan has come up with Struts-Faces which
lets you integrate Struts and JSF. This is ideal for
projects who want to protect their code investment in
Struts and also want to take advantage of JSF once it
is final.
Unfortunately if you are also using Tiles, this is not
possible because of some showstoppers on your way. I
started on this venture a while back and ran into the
same problems and decided to write some code - on top
of Struts-Faces and was pretty successful.

Integrating Hire/Terminate employee between EBS and Fusion HCM

We are exploring EBS and Fusion co-existence model. e.g. co-existence of Core HR, Payroll in EBS with Fusion Talent Management.
We have following requirement - "When an employee is hired in EBS R12, the integration components should be triggered and employee should be shown as Hired in Fusion with the same start date."
Are there any existing integration components in EBS/Fusion to accomplish this?

Your requirement seems quite function specific, and as such I would suggest you also post to the HCM forum as there could be people doing the same thing there.
Most of the packaged integrations are based around moving and sync-ing data between systems periodically, whereas I think you want a live invocation, such as the public WebServices might offer. As such please review content on http://fusionappsoer.oracle.com where you'll find all those listed with lots of supporting material as well.

I have been searching for a fix for this issue for sometime.

this error have been posting on the host server 2008 R2, with a hyper-V running server 2012 R2, which is the eval version vhd from Microsoft.
I have tried the patch on the server 2008 R2 host and the nic delete and rescan option with varied reboots and such between each step of the process just to try every possible combination.
The error persists. Are there any other suggested solutions for fixing this problem. Also the drivers have all been updated along with the system firmware.

The hotfix states Server 2012 in the VM. You stated Server 2012 R2 in the VM. MSFT is very precise in this language - Server 2012 != Server 2012 R2.

In this case the N = the running release of Hyper-V. In this case your Hyper-V Server at release version 2008 R2.
The +2 = the current version of Windows. In this case that is 2012 R2. Two releases ahead of the version of the hypervisor you are running.
I tossed in the link to Ben Armstrong's blog article as that is the ONLY (and still definitive statement) support statement regarding this configuration. He posted that article at my request after many folks posting in this forum with strange behavior
in this configuration.
"supported" in this context means that if you call CSS, you will be told the following: 'yes, you have errors in the event log. We will not fix that. This is an unsupported configuration. But that does not block the OS in the
VM running. If you want the errors to go away, we suggest you upgrade your Hyper-V Server to 2012 R2. That configuration is supported.'
That said, it can impact other functionality of the VM that rely on Integration Components in the VM and the Services of the hypervisor. There is most likely small things that will not work.

Webcenter Portal integration with ATG

Are there any webcenter portal implementation where the ATG storefront features have been been exposed through the webcenter Portal. Are there any plugins or interfaces to enable the integration between portal & ATG.

OOTB you can publish assets directly to disk using Export to XML, but you realize that by doing that, you're essentially using Sites as a very expensive GUI over a database. By using a combination of Java classes and JSPs you can create very rich markup (or XML, or JSON, or whatever you like) and render that, then export that data to disk. That way you can traverse asset relationships and write much more complex data to disk for consumption by external systems.
As for your options of #1 vs #2, you need to think carefully about what your goals are for using Sites and for using ATG. There are a number of other integration options between Sites and ATG, including the reverse of #1, which is to have Sites render most pages and then consume data from ATG in service form. There is also the efficient and decoupled approach of standing up ATG and Sites side-by-side and selectively integrating components together. So Sites would drive marketing content and ATG would drive commerce content, and the two would leverage service APIs between the two when needed (for example, to render an ATG promo in Sites, or to render a detailed product description from Sites in ATG).
Each approach has pros and cons and there is no Correct Way To Integrate ATG and Sites, but there are, as you can see, several common patterns.
