INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI failed ?

Hi Guys,
when i test this RFC connection and i am getting internal server error 500. What is the use of this RFC connection and i dont understand why this is giving error as it is generated automaticallly when we have run the CTC template as part of post installation in PI 7.0
any help woulkd be appreciated How to make this connection work ?

Hi,
1)Check out the following SAP Notes 807000, 928038 and 804124
2)This error might occur if you are using lower version of JRE/J2SE.
3)Check the logs from the VIsual Admin -> server -> Services -> Log viewer.

Can you tell me which is your Default PI client. Generally when you install PI, the default client will be 001. Later we need to change this to 100 or 110 as per your clients standards. You need to follow Note:940309 to change your default client.

We have installed PI 7.1 and were going over our check list to make sure installation is complete and system is ready..
However, going over the standard check list we found that the following RFC connection failed:
INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI : When we clicked test connection; it had the Status Text as "Internal Server Error"
However, our messages are flowing fine thru PI ...
Would like to know where the INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI is used; as it seems to have an error when tested...but, we haven't seen any problems in terms of message flow through PI.
Please, let us know the purpose/functionality of INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and how we can fix this error.

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI Connection test fails

Hi ,
I am trying to configure INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI but the connection test fails as user cannot be authenticated. I found out that I need to put user XIISUSER in the logon tab. Now problem for me is that I do not know the password for XIISUSER.
Then I tried to search the user XIISUSER in SU01. For my surprise it was not there.
Can anyone tell me the steps to create XIISUSER and what roles I need to assign and where I have to register this user.

Try to use PIISUSER instead.Its default password is the master password that you can be given from the basis.

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI: Connection fails

Parameters are the same like in Installation guide
except Client. This parameter is empty.
SICF -> default_host -> sap -> xi -> cache shows client parameter empty too.
XIISUSER is in roles:
 SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR
 SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER
 SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER_MAIN
When I am trying to access URL(http://xiserver:50000/dir/CacheRefresh) directly (as XIISUSER)
I see
Application error occurred during the request procession.
Details: javax.servlet.ServletException: REQID not found
Could anybody help me?

Connectivity failing from Integration Engine to Adapter Framework

We are facing in issue for Idoc to file scenario where the messages are failing in the Call Adapter step in sxmb_moni with the error

Which means that the connectivity between IE and AE is failing for the user PIISUSER, which basis has confirmed is repeatedly getting locked.
Can anyone please suggest where all this user needs to be maintained in the exchange profile, specially for calling the AFW url.

Apart from INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, check any RFC Destination type H if you have proxy communicaiton in your landscape. You might have used the same user there. If there was recent password change for this user, make sure that it was changed in the RFC destinations as well.

HTTP request failed :Error code 500 internal server error

In PI 7.0 system we are getting http error for rwb and exchage profile portal function
Detail:
HTTP request failed : Errro code 500 internal server error
( http://hostname:50000/adapterframework/rtc)
If I do a connection test for ping(sap >bc >ping) from SICF, I am getting HTTP error.
Please help me out to resolve this problem.

from SM59 I tested the connection of INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI(HTTP connection to ABAP system)

Connection Test issue with newly created INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI in PI7.0

Hi Pals,
Due to change in password for user "PIISUSER" in our system, i changed the login credentials in sm59 -> INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.
But the test connection failed, popping up the username/password login dialog again and again.
So i deleted the RFC Connection "INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI" and recreated it with all the care mentioned in the XI installation guide, manually, step by step.
But again the test connection failed, popping up the username/password login dialog again and again.
I tried this exercise for almost 15 times but without success.
NOTE: I am able to login with "PIISUSER" from SAP system Login successfully.
Looking forward for your kind suggestions.

could be the problem with password..we also faced the same problem while using an alphanumeric one.
after changing to a completely numeric one it started working fine

RFC: INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

Hi all,
 We are facing a problem with opening IB main page.
We restarted J2EE server yesterday. after restart the "SXMB_IFR" is NOT working. the URL is
"http://icfxi1:50000/rep/start/index.jsp". we checked Telnet IP address with service 50000. message saying "TEST FAILED". Whereas in SICF port information for HTTP only 8000 port is available. this port is recognizing in Telnet.
at the same time, while testing
the RFC connection "INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI"with connection type "H"
status bar message saying "ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED"
What could be the possible reason?

It says that J2EE server is not configured and the values for J2EE HTTP port is blank.
What does this data indicate?

Bit locker drive encryption failed due to power failer and hard disk corrupted

I ran Bitlocker drive ecryption drive D. My pc is windows 7 ultimate, while it was in progress of 1% due to power failer the encryption failed, when power resume the drive didn't showed the file format nor the size but it shows the size in disk management.
It showed like this in My computer
I do Have the recovery code password and back of recovery password so I ran the "manage-bde-_unlock D:-rp[my code ]
and my pc got hang no other option rather than to press the restart button.
then I used commang "repair-bde -force D:I:-rp[my rp] and following info showed but it stucked in 1% about 8 hours, and there was no increase in the pecentage
I also connected the hardisk to mac but all othe partation showed but didn't showed the encrypted one.
I had lots of memorable picture and other backups so any one kindly help me to get out of this problem. Thanks for help

The BitLocker encryption and decryption processes can be interrupted by turning the computer off, and it will resume where it left off the next time Windows starts. This is true even if the power is suddenly unavailable.
Bitlocker-repair (repair-bde) tool
can't repair a drive that failed during the encryption or decryption process.
In addition, could you please explain a bit for what drive you are trying to deal with? external one?
When you first restart your PC, have you seen any signs that indicate that the encryption is in process?

Cannot send email from my Touch (connection to smtp server fails)

Hello,
I have a new iPod Touch with 1.1.4 and the January apps. I am having a problem setting the Mail application.
I am trying to connect to the IMAP/SMTP servers at my university. I am using the exact same settings and passwords I use on my laptop, which works fine. I can receive email fine on my Touch, but every time I try to send one it fails tellings me "the connection to the outgoing server smtp.myuniversity.edu failed".
If I on purpose write a wrong password for the outgoing mail, the error message I get is different ("check the account settings for the outgoing server smtp.myuniversity.edu").
The university IT people confirmed my settings, and told me that there is nothing blocking any handheld device from using the server.
Does anyone know why this would happen?

Installation of IPC AP 7.0 Jar is getting Failed when uploading in CRM

we did some changes in the previosly uploded version of IPC AP 7.0 customer user exit Jar file in eclipse.
While uploading the new modified jar through transaction /SAPCND/UE_DEV in CRM we are getting error :" installation of module <Jar file name > has failed ".
when we checked the logs in SM 53 we seen the below mentioned error:

Yesterday after Posting the thread we found the same Note ,Issue occured because of JAVA write access was not enabled on the table ,After enabling it as mentioned in SAP Note, Jar file get successfully uploaded.

During an upgrade from 4.7 to ERP6 I get the following error
message in phase STARTSAP_NBAS:

-2: the test rfc did not work.

When I try to log on to the system as user DDIC, I get the following

DB-Error -0 indicate problem with kernel, try to upgrade kernel.

Running workbook from .bat fails to start application missing CORE40 dll

I have been running several workbook via windows task scheduler / vbscript &/or bat files.
I now have a new box which I access thru Remote Desktop Connection, so I can run all these automated updates without having my screen blinking everytime a shedule workbook starts.
If I click on the actual Discoverer icon, or the discoverer workbook shortuct, all works well.
If I click on the .bat file, or try to run the workbook via the cmd , it gives me the following error:
DIS4USR.EXE – Unable To Locate Component
“this application has failed to start because CORE40.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”
The dll is under c/orant/bin/core40.dll, which is where I've read it should be, and it works fine in my regular box...
Please help! URGENT :)

Check the PATH environment variables for the machine you are on and the one you are connecting to.
You might not have Discoverer's objects in the PATH.
Another possibility is that you have more than one piece of ORACLE software on the machine and you may need to also set the ORACLE_HOME within the BAT file.
