Integration Engine Issue - PI 7.0 !!

Hi Experts,
In sandbox we have 2 clients 020 and 030 .
We have configured 030 as PI integration engine .
We ran couple of scenarios . It worked fine . For configuring alerts i made few changes in Exchnage profile and instance profile .
In exchnage Profile for alerts :
1. I made entry of FQDN
2. Changed the client everywhere to 030 from 001 .
Now i was able to see alert inbox.
In instance profile at RZ10 :
1. I made the entry of FQDN .
surprisingly after all this when i ran the scenario it is showing client ID 020 in SXMB_moni in my messages . and on clicking it is saying integartion engine not exists . that is true as integration engine is with client 030 .
Please help me on this !!

Hi Sanotsh,
If i understood properly, you want your PI default client to be used as 001 instead of 030.
I hope before u changed the default client from 001 to 030, you followed note 940309.
You can use the same to revert.
Revert if you still face issues.

- Configuration Wizard: PI-AEX initial setup
- Configuration Wizard: PI Self Test for AEX
However when we were Checking the AEX Configuration as per help.sap.com
Check the registration of a business system for the Integration Engine Java in the SLD:
    Enter https://<host>:<port>/sld .
    Choose Start of the navigation path Business System Next navigation step Integration Engine Java <SID> Next navigation step Integration End of the navigation path.
    The pipeline URL must be: http://<host_fully_qualified>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?ximessage=true .
More information: SAP Note 1435392
for us the Pipeline URL is as below
http://<host_fully_qualified>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet
and the rest " ?ximessage=true " is not there.
Also we ran the below wizard
Configuration Wizard: PI Self Test for AEX
and it finished successfully without any issue.
Any Suggestions what could be missing.

Hi,
I found the below SAPNOTE which confirms that the Pipeline URL should be
http://<host_fully_qualified>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet
1564449 - PI CTC Wrong Pipeline Url after AEX Initial Setup
However on help.sap.com it is different.
Any one experienced the same ?

Auto Cancellation of Messages in the Integration Engine.

Dear all,
Issue: Auto Cancellation of Messages in the Integration Engine.
Description: Actually Today, I'm facing Problem in message mapping and its showing error "JCO_SYSTEM_FAILURE". Finally the message is Auto Canceled and showing the status in the Message Monitoring as Canceled with Errors.
I have doubt here how the messages are Auto Canceled with Error? Is there any system or ABAP program which cancelling these messages?

Two report program are there to cancel error msgs automatically..
1) RSQIWKEX
2) RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES

Hi All,
In integration Engine im getting error as "Exception occurred during XSLT mapping of the application".
when i tried to test the mapping its showing the warning as "javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.util.NestedException: Could not execute operation on Java Object. -> java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException at "

If yes then can u copy the source payload and check it in the Message Mapping once??
If problem is coming from mapping... try to analyze.. else u can put now vtz exactly the prblm is..

HTTP error 403 from Integration engine

Hello,
Problem a)
While posing data from eSourcing to PI box by HTTP , we are getting HTTPerror 403.
The error message states:
ID: E-Sourcing was unable to publish PROP-00090--2010 to ERP. class java.io.IOException Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL:
Problem b)
In another observation the sender file adapter after polling the file is unable to send the message to Integration engine and gives a Connection Time out error. it gives the following error.
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://<Host>:<Port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error transmitting the message over HTTP. Reason: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect.
I believe that both the errors are for common cause and possibly the Integration engine is not accepting HTTP request.
It looks like these error due to security reason, it seems some authorization profile is missing or may be some other issue,kindly help us at that front.

Thanks for the update.We had checked the URL before posting this message,it is picking up correct URL with namespoace, UID and PWD.Exact error that we are getting is as follows:

Please contact your system administrator.
Here all information are correct.We have checked the SLD check, that is also working fine.Also it is not connectivity related issue, as we are able to transmit XML file to E-Sourcing.
It looks like security issue, but what authorization needs tobe given exactly for HTTP call, we need to know or may be some other issue.

How to retrive the old messages in sxmb_moni (integration engine)

Hi Expert,
We were trying to call RFC and send some messages through XI. Due to some connection issue the message was failed in integration engine(MONI). As this messages had failed last week. We are not able to see the messages in MONI.
Now we wanted to get the payload of the messages which had failed.
Can you please suggest how can we see those messages and get the payload which is now not visible in MONI.

I am able to see some messages in the mentioned table but I am not able to open those messages in MONI with the message id given in the table SXMSPMAST2 (SXMSPMAST) and SXMSPHIST to get the payload. (I have given date selection critaria as 1st of Nov 2011 till date). As this is very important for us would you please help us.

So if I have correctly understood you, then you mean to say that these messages which is not visible in moni we can not retrive the payload.
Would you please help me to understand where can we see the settings to mention the number of days for which these messages should appear in MONI. (So that we can increase or can see the current settings for our project)

Error In Runtime Workbench (Integration Engine)

Hi All,
I have an issue with the PI Netweaver 7.0 SR3.We change the client from 001 to newclient by following SAP NOTE.
Everything is happening fine except while i use Transaction SXMB_IFR and then Run Time Work Bench in component monitoring Integration Engine is not in Healthy State,Its showing Yellow Signal and a message is like this
Is Web service security available?
Description :Communication error Proxy calls are not permitted on sender or receiver side on the IS (client)
Also Business Process Engine is also Showing Yellow Signal as
Schedule Background Job for Missed Deadlines
    Schedule Background Job for Work Items with Errors
    Schedule Background Job for Event Queue
    Schedule background job for clearing report
    Schedule Background Job for Shared-Memory Update of Container Fa
    Schedule Background Job for Deadline Monitoring
So please suggest how to proceed to fix these issues.

I trigger an interface and get the error " System not configured as XI Integration Engine ". I get this error at the Call Adapter stage. How do I check in the receipient system ?

File-File: Message are in Waiting state in Integration Engine

Hi,
I am trying to execute File-File integration scenario and the message is in Waiting state in Integration Engine.
I am getting the following error in sxmb_moni:

I am getting the following error in the Visual Admin Trace:
<b>com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (123) JCO_ERROR_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND: Server repository could not create function template for 'SMPP_CALL_JAVA_RUNTIME3' caused by: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: User SAPJSF has no RFC authorization for function group SYST .</b>
Can any one tell me how to provide RFC authorization to SAPJSF user.

that is the reason for your problem
The user entered for LOGON in that does not have the requisite privileges.
Would sugget you contact your basis team and ask them to make the connection going. Then, this problem will be resolved.
To add more, SLDAPI and the rest are used for the connection between your ABAP and JAVA Stack. As, your mapping gets executed in the JAVA stack, during the execution, as this connection failed, so did your process.
Get this onnection up and reunning and it willsolve this issue.

HTTP Response code 404 - RFC Adapter des not connect to Integration engine

I seem to have problem with XI Integration engine. My integration process does not go beyond adapter engine and it fails with the following error,
Begining of the erorr report -

HI Anulraja,
Your Adapter Engine searches the pipeline url of the integration engine from the SLD.
Check the Bussiness System in Sld , which you'll have defined for XI Server.
It should have ROLE : Integration Server And
pipeline url: http://ux0800:55300/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
should be this if your http port is 55300.
Check if this url is right in SLD-Bussiness System.
You can check the exact http port in transaction sxmb_adm.
Go to Integration engine configuration and then click on check icon(F7).
It should match with that provided in the BS in SLD.
By default it should be 8000.
Check all these things and then try.

Error in integration engine prosessing

I am doing proxy to fille interface for testing purpose in RWB in integration engine i test message tab i have given proper entries and send the message.In SXMB_MONI intially status of flag is green i have registered the queues in sxmb_adm then status has changed to red i opened the message it is showing as follow.
In Moni in place of receiver service interface it is showing sender service interface.But i have configured correctly

Error in integration Engine(indicating red color)

Hi all,
I am getting error in integration engine monitoring it shows red in color.
In that below PING status its telling like Unable to log on to system with PIRWBUSER.
Post installation has done in 001 client by default.the user is also existijng in that client its a service user.Anyone can help me out to resolve this issue.

Please check if the system XXX exists user PIRWBUSER.
Check the exchange profile properly configured or not and also check for the Authorizations for the said user.

How to find the IDOC for the archived message in integration engine

Hello experts
In my outbound scenario (Idoc to file), I have a message id got processed from integration engine (SXMB_MONI) but failed in adapter engine (RWB) on 1week back, The same message archive in SXMB_MONI but i found same message in adapter engine.
My question is how to find the archive message IDOC num
We can't find in adapter engine it will show only (sender service, receiver service and interface date and time as well and receiver structure in message content tab) but not idoc no,
Kindly provide the solution for the issue, Is there any alternative to find the idoc?
I can search with partner in sap side but i can get lot of idoc's

Hi,
If solution given by experts in above replies doesn't work then you can try below method.
What you can do is, take some unique values from message content tab (which came in some specific segment from IDOC)
Now in R3 use tcode WE09 and set the dates when this was processed. Set other filter criteria as much as possible e.g. direction, idoc basic type, port, partner etc and at the bottom you can "Fast search mode" their you give the segment name and it's value.
This will help you get you IDOC.

Integration Engine!

Hi Gurus,
In the component monitoring:
under Integration server-->
Integration Engine is in Yellow color.
Remaining Business Process Engine, Mapping Runtime and Adapter Engine are in Green in color.
When I double clicked on the Integration Engine, its showing the message "Is Web Service Security available?"
When I am double clicking on the Details button beside the message its displaying the following message:
Details for 'Is Web service security available?'
Communication error Proxy calls are not permitted on sender or receiver side on the IS (client).
Please let me know what could be the error and also send me a solution to solve this issue and mail me at [email protected]

You can ignore the warning. No problem.
But if you still dont like the yellow color.
Login to https://service.sap.com/notes and search for the note.
I dont remember the Note number but there is a note which tells you how to make that yellow become green .

File to File ------ Message getting stuck in Integration Engine

Hi All,
I have a small issue in file to file scenario .
Once I send the file .Its getting picked up from the source directory but its not getting delivered to the destination directory.
When I check in SXMB_MONI ,message is successfully processed.
Now when I check in RWB. In Message monitring, In adapter engine its showing successful.
but for Integration engine its showing "To be delivered".
I am not able to understand the reason for this. Whether the issue is with configuration of the scenario or some other issues.
So please help me out......

Hi,
Make sure you have set the MaxThreadCount parameter to 350 or higher depending of the case and of the resources available.
To increase the parameter, please follow the instructions below:
1. In the left frame choose Server -> Kernel -> ApplicationThreadManager
2. In the tab Display Configuration (right frame) choose Switch between view and edit mode to activate the edit mode.
3. The parameter MaxThreadCount must be set to 350.
4. You will then need to restart the J2ee

For specific setting to an adapter can be done by going to the Visual Administrator -> Services -> SAP XI AF Messaging
Look at the property 'Messaging connections' here you will see the following queues:
Send.maxConsumers (asynchronous sending - outbound)
Recv.maxConsumers (asynchronous receipt - inbound)
Call.maxConsumers (synchronous sending - outbound)
Rqst.maxConsumers (synchronous receipt - inbound)
Depending on where the bottleneck is occurring (i.e. too many entries in the Send.maxConsumers) you can increase these parameters.
Example of parameter value syntax (sample for FILE adapter):
(name=FILE_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, Send.maxConsumers=10, Recv.maxConsumers=10, Call.maxConsumers=10, Rqst.maxConsumers=10)
