Integration from SRM 5.0 to R/3 4.7

Hi All,
I have done SM59 configuration settings in SRM 5.0 and R/3 4.7. I am able to test remote login from R/3 4.7 to SRM 5.0 (I am getting new SRM 5.0 Login window when I click on Remote Login in SM59 from R/3 4.7 server). But I am not getting new R/3 4.7 Login window when I click on Remote Login from SRM 5.0 server - SM59 Transaction window.
Kindly guide me what should I do to get new R/3 4.7 window from SRM 5.0 - SM59 settings(Remote Logon test)
Kind Note: I have given correct User ID, Password, and Cliet of R/3 4.7 in SRM 5.0 - SM59 settings(under logon details tab)
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sudarsan

Hi Ramki,
Thank you for ur response.
I am able to login with Logon Pad.
Can we integrate SRM 5.0 to R/3 4.7 because one of basis person told me that we cannot integrate from SRM 5.0 to R/3 4.7 as SAP Kernel is different from SRM Kernel to R/3 4.7 Kernel?
Could you please clarify my doubt?
I am able to login SRM 5.0 from R/3 4.7 window with SM59 - Rmote Login testing, I have done the following for testing:
1. I entered into SM59 transction in R/3 4.7 and completed the required settings.
2. I click on Remote Login (Application Tool bar).
3. I got new window where I can enter SRM 5.0 User ID and Password.
4. I received SRM 5.0 easy access window.
I tried to test SM59 from SRM 5.0. But, I am not receiving any new window to provide R/3 4.7 User ID and password.
Thanks,
Sudarsan

  • SAP HR Org. Structure excluded from integration to SRM

We have not set up the automatic integration of HR org changes into SRM organization (report RBDMIDOC, message type: HRMD_ABA).
In SAP HR some new org units with its positions and employees will be assigned.
We would like to exclude this new part of HR Organization Structure from
integration to SRM. In the transaction BD64 we can filtrer object type,
subtype, infotype and relationship but this is not sufficient for us.
¿How could we exclude from copying to SRM a whole part of the organizatonal tree, for example excluding a root org. unit (one ID) and all its dependets org. units (evaluation path)?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hi Malgorzata Kaminska,
We had similar kind of requirement which we could acheive with
    01)  Write a custom program which calls the standard SAP T-code PFAL or (RHALEINI)
    02)  In the Exit R/3 outbound IDOCs, filter the PERNRs to exclude the list you do not want to.  If the list is static, you can maintain in a custom table one time and in the outbound idoc exit, check an entry exists in the table and exclude the PERNRs.  If the PERNRs are dynamic, then when the PERNR gets created, write another exit to populate in this custom table for PERNRs exclusion.
    03)  The custom program of point 01) will pick all the necessary PERNRs for replication and submit in the PFAL as select single.
    04)  The variant in the PFAL can have an evaluation path as P-S-O and executed under update mode.
    Hope this helps!!!

    HI,
1.With SRM 7,0,can we use CCM oor MDM is the only option???
You can use any catalogs which support SAP OCI interface.
2.Is it better to have MDM as a seperate server and enable SRM MDM catalog content?
MDM Server(contents) and AS Java(for UI) are required. Please check the installation guide.
3.We have 2 punch out catalogs for 2 vendors. How to enable the punch out catalog links in SRM 7.0???What is the path for IMG config??
Same as SRM 5.0. Define External Web Services.
    4. We have around 20 internal supplier catalogs .Now should we upload few of the supplier catalogs and then upload rest or can we upload all the suuplier catalogs at once through IMPORT MANAGER in MDM ???What are therestrictions in terms of the no of catalogs or catalog data that can be improted and mapped ???
Yes. You can use Import Manager. No issues.
6.The backend master data such as Supplier/Porg etc.....how is that synchronised from SRM to SRM MDM catalog???Is it through some scheduled programs???
      MDM Extractor is available.
7.What is the use of PI/XI in enabling SRM MDM catalog??Why is it mandatory??
      Mainly for contents mapping.
    8. What are the allowed file types for cataog data upload in MDM???Like it was CSV in CCM...
Any. Even for DB interface is also supported. You see all options when you run import manager.
    9. Where can I find some sample catalog files for test upload?
Sample repository definition is delivered. You can manually create 1 entry by Data Manager.
10.What are the lastest SP for MDM available for integration with SRM 7.0??
You can find it SAP Service Marketplace. http://service.sap.com/swdc
    11. after price changes from supplier(thru negotiation),are these price changes to be updated manually for indiavidual items/products through MDM data manager or is there any way to automate this delta update for price in MDM???
You can use contract and contract items are transfered to Catalog.
12.Also maintaining catalog data in MDM for SRM procurement will be a seprate actibity just like maintaing catalog in CCM??
      Yes. Catalog is just Catalog.

  • PI Development  to Transfer PO  from SRM to Suppliers through PI 7.1

    Hi,
    PI Development Question:
I have requirement to Transfer PO Document(XML) from SRM 7.0 to PI and PI to Suppliers in cXML format. In PI , SLD I have created Technical and Business System for SRM System. I am planning to use HTTP adapter in cXML format to Suppliers. I have URL from Supllier Where to Post this PO Document. But When I am trying to Configure in SLD  for Suppliers( As Third Party Systems) its asking System Name and Host Name.
Do I need to request Suppliers for Hostname and System name too regarding their system?
For each supplier do I need to create a seperate Technical and Business System? If yes, When PO sent from SRM, based on Supplier on PO How to identify for whom I need to sent the PO(Purchase Order).?
What is the complete process from SRM->PI -> Suppliers? If you have any steps or documentation for this please let me know.
    Thanks for your help!
    Thanks,
    Monica

    Hi Monica,
Create one business system for SRM and for cXML suppliers. Use them for all the suppliers. For SRM you can assign the technical system giving the techincal details for SRM and for all suppliers you can create busniess system something like Sys_DCorpcXML  where D is for development and for Quaity you can give Q and P for production (you can cahnge according to your naming standards). Now assign the role as application system and the corresponding xi as integration server.
    > Do I need to request Suppliers for Hostname and System name too regarding their system?
    No need to ask them
    > ( As Third Party Systems) its asking System Name and Host Name
    Specify as I mentioned above
    > For each supplier do I need to create a seperate Technical and Business System?
Use teh same business system for all the suppliers
    > how to identify for whom I need to sent the PO(Purchase Order).?
Configure and route them in receiver determination based upon supplier no. etc.

  • UNSPSC code from SRM to PReq

The Manufacturing Part Number field on the purchase requisition (field name: MFRPN) is populated with the UNSPSC code for catalog orders from SRM. However, I am unable to bring this data over to the PO. I have checked config to make sure the field is not suppressed. While it is set as optional, no data is visible. Am I looking in the wrong place? How do I get the field from the requisition to populate a corresponding field on the PO?
We are not a manufacturing company so I'm not sure if there is something else I need to activate in order to populate the field.
    Please Help!

    Hello Monique,
what is your SRM scenario (classic, ECS ?) and SP level ?
You talk about PR: Are you working on ECC 6.0, with catalog integration in MM ?
If yes, this is an MM issue, and not an SRM one.
Try to post the same question in the ERP forum.
And check OSS notes for MM + MFRPN: there is a lot...
    ex:
904632 ME21N: MFRNR not filled with info record data
823058 ME51N: MPN mat not deleted when you change source of supply
812809 External Mfg(EMNFR) not populated for internal material
744799 ME51N/ME52N: MPN material in PReq is overwritten

  • How to check a list of users whether integrated to SRM Org Structure

    Dear SRM Gurus,
I am using SRM 4.0 system with classic scenario.
We are not using the HR system integration for org structure setup.
I have a list of users to be checked, whether they are integrated to SRM Organization structure.
Normally, I use the "Check Users" option under, Users_Gen tcode to check a single user.
Is there any way to check multiple users(almost 300 users) at once.
Any Table or function module is avalable?
    Thanks in advance.
    Loka

    Hello Loka,
Run same transaction. When you are on screen "Object Synchronization and Repair", set "User" but do not populate any value, then execute.
You will get all users: when user has a red icon in column 'Object links', this means he is not integrated in the organizational model.
In same transaction, if you can also set "Branch from Organizational Unit" and "Users only". Here, you will get only users integrated into organizationl model.
    Regards.

  • PO from SRM to supplier via PI 7.1

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario where I need to send PO request from SRM to PI 7.1 via proxy and then from PI 7.1 to third party supplier via HTTP port.
I have imported all the ESR objects from market place and are available in my ESR. Many scenarios are there with many Integration process, actions and all.
Now I am confused which one to use from the above available scenarios during the creation of integration scenario in ID. Since my scenario only needs to send PO create, change and cancellation request.
    Please suggest,
if I have use Service_Procurement_SupplierEnablement from ESR
or I have create manually the configuration with only oubound interface Send_PurchaseOrder_out.
    I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Madan Agrawal

    Madan,
If  I am not mistaken then EBP (Enterprise Buyer Professional) is nothing but a part of SRM and SUS (Supplier Self Service) is for the supplier.

  • Central contract information from SRM to ECC

    Hi everybody,
I´m working with an integrated landscape (SRM 7 with ECC 6), and i´m configuring the central contract, but i have a doubt about the information that is sent from SRM to ECC (the leading system about the contract is SRM). The contract description written in SRM is sent to the contract created in MM?????
    Thanks for all.

Hi, do you mean the texts in contract item ?
This text transfer functionality was delievered in SRM 7.0  and it was linked to ERP 6.0 EHP4.
For contracts overview, please check link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm50/helpdata/en/43/05c0c685da6e72e10000000a422035/frameset.htm

  • Transfer of Product Master and Contract data from SRM server to CAT

    Hi,
We are using XI system to send product master data from SRM system to CAT (catalogue authorising tool) wherein both the SRM and the CAT add-on have been installed on the same web application server.
On the SRM-> XI part, we are going to use ABAP client proxy. My question is can we use ABAP server proxy to send data from XI to CAT ? In other words, is CAT a part of ABAP system so that we can use proxy ??
I am new to SAP environment and hence this question.
    Regards
    Ramesh

    Hello Ramesh,
for uploading SRM master data to CCM u need not do any developements in ABAP , u have to just import SAP predefined SWCV's in Integration repository and configure required scenario "MasterDataInclusionInCatalogOnWAS" for u r corresponding WAS version.
U can download configuration document from service marketplace named " Configuration Fact Book CCM 2.0 "

  • Migration of Transaction Data from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0

    Hi
We are upgrading from SRM 4.0 to SRM7.0.
In our old release, many Shopping Cart woul be in the status of Approved, Awaiting Approval and Held. When the same data is migrated to the SRM 7.0 Productive system, how should we take care of the same. We would continue to use the Old Workflow (Application controlled) in SRM 7.0. However we have made changes to the Workflow steps in the new system.
Alo while moving to the new SRM 7.0 Production system, how should we manage the Transactonal Data migration overall.
The client has not agreed to close the Open SC, PO or the confirmations.
Any inputs relating to the Transactional data approach would be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi Masa
All said and done we have lot of issues with regard to the data migration. The issues are as below:
    1. The POWL doesn't reflect the old data at all in the Upgraded system. I was expecting the "Check Status" functionality to be integrated with POWL so that all the existing Shopping Cart and Purchaser Orders could be seen and the follow on actions could be taken.
    2. I am not able to do a generic search on "Advanced Search". For example if I try to Search on the old Shopping Carts, until and unless I give the specific Shopping Cart number, the Search doesn't yield any output.
    3. Since POWL doesn't reflect the exisitng Shopping Cart we are not able to proceed ahead with them to create the Follow On documents like Confirmation.
    4. The Work Flow in the new system remains Application Controlled only. However we have added few extra steps. The existing "Awaiting Approval" Shopping Carts is not picking up the workflow correctly in the new system.
    Any ideas about the same?
    Regards
    Raj

  • Integration PS - SRM

    Hi Experts,
I am designing a PS system in a landscape where SRM system is already deployed.
We need to create our requests for purchasing from PS system into the SRM system, for them to follow the process defined and customized in the system, which works with both scenario A and B.
Let me provide more information on our business scenario:
We want to start our procurement processes not only from SRM, but also from SAP PS module. That is posible in the case of integration with MM, since PS creates a PR in this module in an automatic way.
In our landscape, the procurement is driven exclusively through SRM, where both classic and extended classic scenarios are deployed with approval workflows.
Has anybody implemented or worked with this scenario before?
Can someone provide, or tell me where can I find a detail process flow on how will this work? (from the creation on PS to the data generated in SRM)
I have already checked the information there is on Plan Driven Procurement, but is not very specific to PS processes and I cannot see the flow...
    Any suggestion may help!
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Kind regards,

  • Sending Bids from SRM to suppliers and receiving responses

    Hi Experts,
Help me with a suggestion for sending Bids from SRM to suppliers and receiving responses - preferably through email adapter.
    Regards,
    Hemanthika
Edited by: hemanthika patnaik on Apr 28, 2008 2:24 PM

    Sorry for the delay,
I have worked in a similar integration with SRM - XI, but the only difference is that we used Proxy -- HTTPS for Purchase Order Request.
In your case it would be:
    1. Create custom IDOC and Message type.
    2. Find the triggering process from the SRM side, trigger the IDOC from SRM.
    3. Generate the partner profile and ALE config.
    4. Import the custom IDOC in XI.
    5. Use a map in XI to convert the IDOC data to customer format.
    6. Use  HTTP adapter to connect.
    7. In the HTTP adapter you can use url method or the RFC destination to do the connectivity. ( I would recommend using the RFC destination to do it.)
    8. You should be receiving an acknowledgment from the customer when the document is posted at their end.
    9. The response is either 200 for successful transmission. It would be 400 or 500  for errors.
    10. Use the response message to do a message map with the mail adapter.
    11. Generate the content of the mail adapter using the message map.
    12. In the message map ideally you should use Value mapping to generate the   TO and FROM data. (This enables you to change the receipients while in development and production without changing the message mappinng program.)
    13. Use mail package in the Mail adapter to send the mail content to the business users.
    Hope this helps.

  • PO replication from SRM 4.0 to R/3 4.7

    Hi,
What is the program from where the delta changes are replicated from SRM 4.0 to R/3 system. I want to check the data that is passed to R/3 from SRM in runtime.
    Regards,
    Rav

    Hi Rav,
I guess you have extended classic scenario.
In this case please use the function module BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC_V2.
This function module calls the plugin BBP_PO_INBOUND of the R/3 backend via RFC for updating the PO changes (or at the first time during the PO creation).
