Integration of ERP with Office365

Hi,
Is there a way in which we could integrate a third party ERP system into Office 365 using SharePoint, so that we could have data from ERP to be populated in SharePoint apps?

One possible option is use Business connectivity Service (BCS) to connect to third part data store. However you may have some limitation and may not support connector framework
To connect to SP, your Data store should have a connect framework like ODATA or by creating custom connector you can connect to your data store.

AD Integration With Office365

Our Current Scenario:
We have Active Directory with 150 users (Single Forest & Single Domain) on Windows Server 2012 R2.
Our Current Email Server is Google Apps where we have 150 users already so basically our user does not have facility for Single Sign on they have two password one for computer login (Domain Password)
and one Google Login (Email Password).
What we want To DO:
Now we want to migrate all of our users on Exchange Online (Office 365), we also want to enable Single Sign On (Example users have only one password for both computer login and email Login Just be
like Exchange on Premises.
I have following question in mind.
How can we integrate our current Active Directory with Office365?
I Google it and found that AD can be integrate with Active Directory Federation Service is this true? What are Pros and Cons for ADFS?
Should we need to take extra subscription of Windows Azure for integrating our Active Directory with Office365?
What happens with those users who have account in AD and also on Gmail like UPN names are same

ABC (Domain Account)
Will these two conflict with each other or what happened if we integrate AD?

So, let's tackle each point one-by-one
First, as you found in your research, you would establish integration between your Active Directory and Office365 via Directory Synchronization, and this is established by using Active Directory Federation Services.
As for Pros and Cons, I am not really sure what you mean there. The pros would be that you are able to achieve the functionality that you seek out. You would be able to set up Directory Synchronization and SSO with ADFS, and once that is done, you conduct
all your user management from your On-Prem Active Directory Users and Computers when it comes to user management. The Cons might be that you should not deploy ADFS on a Domain Controller, so you will need to launch another server in your environment to accommodate
this. You will also need to obtain a public SSL certificate for the ADFS deployment.
There should be no additional Office 365 subscription purchases needed to enable and use directory synchronization.
As for your Gmail users, if you are looking to migrate them to Office 365 using Exchange Online, you will need to perform a IMAP Migration, which requires that you set up the Exchange accounts in Exchange Online in advance. This should work out well for
you, because you can set up the Exchange account as you migrate your users into Office 365 with Directory Synchronization and then assign the proper licensing to each user. Then, once the Exchange mailbox is in place, you conduct the IMAP migration,
which moves mail-only items from the users' existing Gmail inboxes into their new Exchange Online mailboxes.
I hope that helped answer your questions and alleviated some concerns. Obviously you will still need to do a bit of research for the details on conducting the directory synchronization and email migration from Gmail, but there is great documentation
out there for both. Actually, supplies unused are assets of companies. Otherwise we don’t need an account called supplies at all. In the given example, I think we should credit $500 to bank account and debit $500 to supplies account. If at the end of the fiscal year, we used only $300 supplies, then we credit $300 to supplies account and debit $300 to supplies expense account. This is the typical process of supplies accounting.

Duet Configuration - MySAP ERP with Outlook

Hi,
I am working on Duet Add-on application in my company. The Installation has been completed successfully with the latest patches. I started with the configuration of MySAP ERP with Outlook. Firstly, did the Leave management with the instructions as provided by SAP and then the Team management. Successfully, created a Organization unit, defined the reporting structure and assigned the Communication ID's too.
In Outlook, when logged in as the Employee ID, unable to find the team data or colleagues under contacts nor the leave management details are being reflected.
I tried to choose the Duet options and restored the fields in the Leave management and Team management.
Receiving the Error:"The system is working offline or not connected to the Mendocino server, so unable to restore the Auto Fill settings".
Can anybody please provide me instructions on how the data is getting imported as in the previous versions of Mendocino?
And where is the connection lost while restoring?
In the Duet panel, the errors is the Time management which is a Dump error.
Please provide me the pointers for the MySAP ERP configurations.

SAP press book should be okay,
more you should prepair on the business process and integration question.
Question will be like multiple answers and single answers, means they will give some case check box and some case radio button for question.
you should also know integration of MM,QM, PP,PS BM and so on...
they will be question like can we do this not this is not there for TO,
... can we change the Bin when we confirm, yes which relevant setting we should do?
so on.....

From tab "Accounting" on the project level, it is only possible to integrate cProjects elements (project, task, phase etc) with either WBS Elements, or Internal Order. It is programmed under DPR_ACCOUNTING web dynpro component. Unfortunately I think this is all when it comes to accounting integration in cProjects.
We personally in our scope have a requirement to integrate under Accounting tab with other ERP Modules (like for example more WBS Elements per cProjects task, CS Order, QM Order etc). We solve this by making a lot of programming as enhancements to DPR_ACCOUNTING.Another thing are changes/enhancements to CATS so that it is possible to book hours / work on that elements.
From the other side there are object links. In standard there are a lot of documents allowing to "integrate" cProjects with other ERP Elements. Unfortunately I think this is not coming with for example with CATS integration. These are simply links, which allow to save many elements per cProejcts task (for example). Then it is possible to view it etc. But it is not accounting integration.

Problem in Integration of Apex with R12

Hello,
I followed the paper apex-ebs-extension-white-paper-345780.pdf to do Integration of Apex with R12. but stuck on one step.
I am done with all the steps in R12. Now if i click the menu in R12, its going to my existing Apex aplication but still asking username and password.
Can anyone help me out in what exactly I need to change in Apex Authentication scheme in Apex. Right now I am using Authentication scheme as Application Express.
Please help me out

Using Integration Repository might cause performance overhead based on the operation you are doing, I have never used Integration Repository for 3rd Party integration therefore I am not able to make any comment on this.
Calling directly as a Java Client is an easy approach and you can use ATG component framework to support that by making the endpoint, security credentials etc as configurable properties.

Integrating Portal Server with MS Exchange Server

I am trying to outline a solution for integrating MS Exchange with Portal
Server. I realize that this can be done through the Exchange Netlet in iPS
3.0, but this will enable Outlook client access on the users machine through
the portal, and is not what we are looking for. What we would like to
provide is calendar (appointments, tasks, etc.) and mail information within
a channel on the portal. We would then provide a link to the web-based
interface for Exchange within the channel. The interface is simple, since
web-Exchange provides a URL, although any insight on providing SSO to the
application would be helpful.
Is there a way we can interface with Exchange using Java-based wrappers to
retrieve the calendar and mail information for a specific user? It seems
like the NetMail and iPlanet Calendar Server implementations would be
overkill for what we are looking for.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Here are some of my
thoughts:
1. Since Outlook has a web-interface(provides a URL), we can obviously serve
the web application up through the portal.
2. iPlanet Portal Server 3.0 NetMail. This will provide us with an IMAP
interface to the contents of the mail server, allow a user to send emails,
read emails, create folders, change folders, etc. This seems to provide a
full-fledge email application, which may be more than we actually need. Is
there any way to use the Java NetMail Servlet or the NetMail Lite version to
get what we are looking for?
3. Using iPlanet Calendar Server for the appointments and schedule, although
I believe that Exchange does not conform to the iCalendar protocol
specification? Again, this is a full-fledge calendar application, and seems
to be overkill for what we may need.
4. Using a netlet to connect to Microsoft Exchange server, which can be done
with Portal Server 3.0 because it implements the Microsoft Exchange/DCE
protocol. Again, this provides Outlook client access, and I am not sure if
this is what we want. Can we use the NetLet to capture the information
being retrieved from exchange and display it using JSP rather than s
5. Writing a Java wrapper to the contents of the mail server using the Java
Mail API, although this does not solve the calendar problem. We can then
display whatever info we want on our JSP pages using the wrapper classes.

Outlook 2013 with Office365 exchange Scheduling assistant not retrieving free/busy information

Hi, we are using Outlook 2013 with Office365 Exchange and when using the Scheduling assistant in Outlook users are seeing "No Information. No free/busy information could be retrieved". The scheduling assistant works fine in OWA.
I have spent time trying to find an answer on the web but most answers involve different exchange variations.

Since the problem only exists on Outlook Client, we can try running Outlook with the switch "/cleanfreebusy", this will clear and regenerate free/busy information:
outlook.exe /cleanfreebusyin the blank box, then press Enter.
You can also switch between Online and Cached Mode to check if there's a difference.

Test inside the table is truncated when integrating Adobe forms with WD4A

Whenever the pagination happens the text in the table row cells is truncated and it starts from next row in next page. Is there any properrty of table in Form builder which I can use to allow the test to go to the next page?

Database mail configuration is not working with office365

I' looking for some help debugging a blocking error in our DEV environment.
We're currently using Windows 2008 R2 Standard, with IIS 7.5 and MS SQL Server 2012 Standard.
We're experiencing troubles while trying to use database mail in conjunction with Office365 SMTP.
We've generated our self-signed certificate, via IIS, and configured SMTP Virtual Relay Server with local (machine-name) and remote domain, following a step-by-step tutorial from configureoffice365.com.
We've also checked at the original MSDN tutorial, but it's been of little use (at least for us).
We would like to use our Office365 SMTP server to send out notifications and we're currently using Office365 working credentials to try the SMTP authentication, but we're stuck with this error (x is used to hide sensible data):

According to your description, when you configure database mail in your SQL Server Management Studio,
Please note that you enter the server to send to as localhost and the email address as the email you have on the office 365 Exchange online for the same account you used to configure the delivery configuration of the local SMTP server. And
you should choose anonymous authentication for SMTP authentication. Once finished the configuration, you can test the email sending, check if you are able to send emails to any external recipient using you Exchange online.

Integrating WebLogic Server with CA SiteMinder Web Agent R6

Hi I have searched on the topic of integrating WebLogic Server with the CA SiteMinder Web Agent R6 to provide single sign on services, and have been unable to find anything. Does anyone have any experience with this that could provide some tips, or could direct me to some documentation?

It definitely can work. We have done the same thing in several installations. The question is "How secure does it need to be?" You will be using SM to do authentication. You will configure SSO to trust the SM header variable. If you really want to be secure you need to configure your boxes so that the http server on you SUSE box (for Portal) can only be accessed from the Reverse Proxy. If another machine can access it someone could spoof the header variable and log in as anyone they want.
