Hi Nishit,
You are asking about how to integrate the iPPE with Project Systems or Why we need to integrate iPPE with PS in an NPDI scenario.
In an NPDI scenarios, generally at each phase the deliverables are need to be tagged with your project created for that. And second reason to integrate maintaining the cost in WBS mode.

I found that when I pull data from SAP through Ariba TIBCO and SAP Adater, the Thai character showed as unreadable character like a garbage character.

Integration betwen TIBCO and SAP R/3

Hi all,
we are going to intigrate TIBCO and SAP systems first time ,
SAP R/3 : maintained file port and Partner profile,
TIBCO : they configured necessary steps from TIBCO end and sent Idoc to SAP R/3,
but in SAP side we are not recieved an y IDOC's .
help me if any necessary step missied out?

how TIBCO is sending IDoc to R3?
thorugh IDOC adapter then i guess you need to use tRFC port instead of file port.
I am not sure if you can receive IDoc directly through file port.
if TIBCO is sending IDOC txt file then by FTP receive the file in AL11 and use file port to process the IDoc.

Integration of ALE and SAP XI

Hi All
I am working on a project that uses SAP XI as middleware. XI reads flat files , converts them into idocs and posts them to SAP system. The inbound functions are designed to handle one idoc at a time whereas SAP XI is sending all idocs created from a file in one stretch to SAP R/3. So when the inbound function is reached, it processes for first idoc only and exits process. Because the system does not get any status records for other idocs, it rolls back processing of first idoc as well.
I would like to know if there is any way where any settings in SAP XI can cause the idocs to be split into individual ones before they reach the inbound processing.

I haven't faced this issue before but you may want to try the following
1) In partner profile (backend SAP system), set the option 'Process in background' instead of 'Process immediately'.
2) Then, in the backend SAP system, schedule a job which runs program 'RBDAPP01', which will actually post the IDOCs.
Since IDOCs are anyway async. operations, I don't see any benefit of posting the IDOCs immeditely. Infact, for performance reasons, it is suggested to have the IDOCs posted by the background program as it has options for processing the IDOCs in parallel.

Integrating SmallWorld(Gis) and SAP

We are trying to integrate SAP with SmallWorld. Whenever we are sending the request1 to XI server from SOAPUI, then it shows LOGON ERROR because we are not supplying username and password explicitly.

The standard way for SOAP authentication is the HTTP User Name and Password only. If you dont want rhis you can probably go for digital certificates.

OSB and SAP integration using XML web services

Hi Team,
We are designing solution for asynchronous and synchronous scenarios integration between OSB and SAP using web services.
Can you please provide some pointers which tells about how OSB and SAP integration works.
For an example:
If we are designing the above scenario between SAP PI and SAP ECC, we know the below communication protocols are avilable:
1.Proxy
2.RFC
3.IDOCs
And also we know how adapters will get connect.
Now ODB wants to connect to SAP to send and receive data. Please help me with information like:
1. Is Proxy, RFC or IDOCs are applicable for OSB as well?
2. How webservice scenarios can be implemented?

business connector has both IDOC and RFC adapters so it can
receive data from SAP (IDOC, RFC), send data to SAP (IDOC, RFC)
and pull data from SAP (RFC only)

MS Analysis Services and SAP BW

Hello!
I need to solve the following problem:
The data for analysis is kept in MS Analysis Services. That data must be exported from it to BW.
But the primary task is to create appropriate InfoCubes in BW. Can that Infocubes be created in BW automatically on basis of cubes in MS AS or the appropriate InfoCubes in BW must firstly be created manually and then that InfoCubes can automatically be filled with data taken from MS AS as data source?

I have a requirement like getting data from SAP R/3 system and make it as Xcelsius Dashboard.
So i have installed BOXI3.0, SAP Integration Kit, Live Office, Crystal Report and Xcelsius. In this blog explined about how to connect BI System but i want to connect SAP R/3 system.
1. What is purpose of Role import option?
2. What is the type of role i need to import for connecting R/3 system?

If you need to have Business Objects and SAP work together in conjunction you need to have the Business Objects Integration Kit for SAP. Integration Kit provides the database drivers and other features for reporting off SAP.

MS Active Directory (LDAP) and SAP Integration

Hi all!
don't know if I'm right here in this forum, but:
I'm using MS Windows Server 2003 and installed Active Directory as LDAP-System on the one hand side, on the other I'm using a 6.20 ABAP Web AS.
I'd like to synchronize the User Storage on these two systems.
Does anyone have experience in doing this? I'm facing a tricky exception in depth of my customizing too complex to explain right now. The problem concerns the mapping of LDAP-Fields and SAP-Fields.

Business Objects and SAP BI Integrated Planning

Not too sure if this is in the correct forum...but I have question.
Is there a way to use the integrated planning functionality with a Business Objects Front end tool? As I understand BEx will at some stage will not be supported...so I guess there must be a tool. If so which one?

Crystal Reports and SAP Integration Issue

Gurus,
I am in the process of reinstalling my SAP B-One(2007 A) Server, after SQL Server and SAP Server and Client installtions and its related patch PL10. My machine is fully loaded and to go, but I am stuck with Crystal Reports Basic 2008 installtion.
After installting the below for Crystal Reports:
1) .NetPlatform SP1 setup (dotnetfx35sp1)
3) Crytatl Runtime
4) Crystal Setup
5) Crystal SAP Viewer
6) CR2008_SP3
My integration between SAP and CR are fine but after first log off and log on of SAP B-One.
Shows the below messages:
- "The new version of Add-on Crystal Reports for SAP Business One is
installed. Upgrade the Add-on in the current Common DB."
followed by the below one.
"Wrong Executable digital signature for Add-On".
Any advices on how can I upgrade the Common DB.

Re-installation meaning that you had installed aprevious version and now upgrading or is it a full installation.
