Integration of New graph type in OBI application

HI,
We have a requirement where in client is interested to add a new type of graph into the OBI Application. No details of the graph type yet.
Can you please let me know the feasibility and the steps involved in integrating a new graph type in the OBI application.

Hi,
You cannot define a payment type as that is based on a lookup defined under the navigation Setup>lookup>Payables.
This look up access level is System whihc implies it does not allow user level values to be defined.
So you have to use the available payment types,

Integration Repository: change XSD type in data types

Hi,
we created data types for our interface where we used the XSD type float and integer. We built on that Message types and Message interfaces and used them as abstract types in a BPM scenario.
During our test phase we encountered errors with these XSD types and found out that it is better to switch the XSD type to string to get correct values.
However the changes in XSD types are obviously only visible in the Integration Repository. XI creates on Application Server side in the XML Object Type Builder an object which doesn't notice this change. And because of that we get still errors.
So does anyone know how to get this XML Object Type changed? We don't want to delete everything and create new message types?

Hi Christina,
First go to SXI_CACHE -> Refresh the cache.
Also check for the Repository Cache Refresh/Notifciations..
You mean you have changed the xsd in the External Definition ...
If so , just go to Message Interfaces and just select the External definition once again and activate the same.
If you change the Data types then , if there is a change in field length/type then try to redo/reselect the datat types for the message types and activate once again.
For BPM just change something.. and activate once again..

Pricing: New condition type not getting listed in options in product master

Hi,
I have created a new pricing procedure and also created a new condition type for it. I am trying to create a condition record in the product master for this condition type but the condition is not there in the list of conditions. How can I inlcude it in the condition list?
Even the new condition type I have created by copying 0PR0 is not getting listed in the options, whereas 0PR0 is getting listed.

you need to enhance the condition maintenance group in the customizing, which is assigned to the product master. Please check: IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Products -> Special Settings for Sales Operations -> Assign Condition Group to Application CRM and IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Conditions and Condition Technique -> Condition Technique: Basics -> Create Maintenance Group.

Hi Emanuela,
When production is based on sales order ( i.e Product cost by Sales order) in this scenario
sales order is created as a cost object.
This sales order is referenced when we create Cost estimate structure in CK51N
In this way sales order is integrated with Product cost controlling in CO module.

Problem while print preview purchase order for new document type

Dear Experts,
I have got the problem as below and need your helps.
I created a new purchasing document type and then created a new PO with this document type. PO was created successfully in the system. I added a message to print out PO with the followed parameters as NEU output type, 1.Print Out medium , VN partner function, dispatch time is 3 ( Send with application own transaction).
Then, I clicked Print Preview button on the ME23n screen, the error message bellowed was shown
"The combination of document type
and Purchasing organization is invalid.
please check the document and change it.
unable to print the form"
I really want to print the PO with new purchasing document type on the existed purchasing organization, Could you please help me identify the problem and solution for this issue?

Please let me know why we check the new document type in Program, Routine and From of NEU output type?
p/s: I compared the version the program, FORM and routine of NEU output type and found that there is no the differences btw DEV server and QAs server. However, An PO created susscessfully in QAs server, but the error was happend in DEV server.
Could you please come with the other posible causes and solutions for this issue?

Using scatter graph type in oracle 10g forms using bi beans

hi.. how i can use scatter graph type in oracle 10g using bi beans..
it seems scatter graph is supported in 10g but it doesnt work at all..
i used to use oracle graphics builder in oracle 6i forms,now i need to convert all my old graphs to 10g forms..the line,bar and pie it work very well but the scatter didnt work..
so please if anyone know how to use it please tell me.. and what versions of bi beans support the scatter graph type

What version of Oracle Forms are you using? If it is 10.1.2.0.2 (10g R2 Phase 2) then the BI Beans version should be 10.1.2.1 (3.2.2.0.24.2).
When you run a Graph, do you see any version numbers?
Regardless of the version, scatter graph should work. What kind of errors are you getting?
When you install BI Beans in JDeveloper, you get access to BI Beans Help. Go to the following topic for setting up data for a scatter graph:

Need help for new message type for PO archiving

I have configured new message type ZARR for PO archiving process. After configuring all the steps this condition is not getting picked to by itself. And after maintaing it manually it is giving red flag without any error message. Here I am listing all the step that I have followed for config. Please help me am I missing something or any parameter is wrong.
Steps for new Message Type for PO Archiving
1.     Defined new Table 513 Purch.Org./Plant.
2.     Defined new access sequence Z513 Access Sequence for Archiving.

the problem is the Exclusive = Yes indicator in the access sequence.
Your other message has this exclusive indicator as well.
so if the first message is found, then no other message wil be determined
to allow several messages in one PO, you must not set this exlusive indicator

To add new file type in SharePoint

I am trying to add new file type for sharepoint site like MSWord, PDF etc.,
Are there any ways to create new file types in SharePoint? My requirement is to create a file type for AutoCAD drawings (.dwg format).

Browse to the Central Admin site
Select the Operations tab
Under the Security Configuration section, click the link for
Blocked file types
Select the Web Application that you would like to modify from the drop down list
Each blocked file extension displayed in the list is blocked by SharePoint. To enable the blocked file extension, simply remove it from the list.
Check with your type and if its there unblock it.

I wanna Know is there any way to add new file type (for example AVI Filetype) in S60v3
- I know that Y-Task (Filetype) can modify File Association (But only for Known file types by Symbian os & cant add New file type)
Is there another app or trick?

I don't think there is any trick yet available. But there are 2-3 applications that play AVI media files.

New file type for XCode

Hi!
I want the XCode to apply C syntax coloring to the .nc files, which are not recognized by it. There are settings to change coloring schemes for known types, but i couldn't find anything to add a new file type. Each time I open a .nc file, I need to select the syntax coloring scheme manually..
Anybody has any idea on where to find settings for that?

I ran into this same problem just yesterday and I was glad to even find out that I could temporarily fix the problem by relaunching the finder. It also happened to my while I was renaming files. It allowed it for a few files and then all of a sudden, nothing. I couldn't type, or do any key commands with anything related to the finder, although all of my application files were fine.
I am clueless as to how to permanently fix this problem, although i am thankful to read on how to relaunch the finder to fix it for a bit.
I'll keep checking back to see if some guru stops by with the answer.

Shortcuts don't stick. Hidden shortcut for Graph Type?

I realize there is a glitch that Adobe won't address. Custom shortcuts sometimes don't stick. The only tip I've received is to reselect my custom shortcuts each time I launch Illustrator (this is a pain).
I tried a different approach and assigned an alternative shortcut. But it still doesn't stick for one menu item: Object>Graph>Type.
When I was creating a new graph, I was in the data window and accidentally hit a key that opened the Graph Type dialog. I might have been imagining this, but does anyone know if there's an alternative key to open the Graph Type window?
I suspect Adobe is already preparing CS5 so I don't see a fix coming at all.

I want to create a new inspection type for surce inspection and I will assign it to Miscellaneous insp lot origin.
What is the application of vendor inspection lot origin ? Can be used for source inspection ?

For source inspection.
If existing insp types are not going to solve your purpose , you can create insp type & assign it to insp lot origin 01.
But before that , check whether you can use the existing insp type 01 / 0130.
You need to assign that inspection type in the Q-info record , in the source insp field of insp control.
Also go through the help tips provide by SAP

    Inspection type for the source inspection
Use
    If you enter an inspection type for inspection lot origin 01 in this field, you can create an inspection lot for the source inspection within the lead time before the (scheduled) delivery date.
Dependencies
    The inspection type must be active in the inspection setup (Quality Management view) of the material master.
    If a status profile is stored in the quality info record for the supply relationship, a goods receipt inspection takes place instead of a source inspection.

New output type in PO

Hi Gurus,
We have Created new message type Zneu1 which has to send PO number to the user by email .
But when i try to create the purchase order with that document type it is not showing the new message type in message function.
so could you please explain what setting has do to and how the message function will work in sap?
when will be message function will be executed during creating or changing the PO?

I believe you created new message type but just cross check & double cross check is it Zneu1
OK.
Make default new message type in PO by just fine tune the output (message) type in following path:
SPRO-->MM>Purchasing->Message->Output control>Message types--> Define message type for Purchase Order--->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Now here select the check box corresponding to new output (message) type to have default automatically displayed & save.
Monition condition record with new message type with PO document type in MN04 t.code and save. Also check u201CAccess conditionsu201D check box selected in PO out put type(message type) for application EF in NACE t.code and FORM or PDF/SmartForm Form linked to PO new out put type(new message type).

New output type for billing documents

Hello All,
We have created a new output type (ZD05) for a billing document to send an automatic mail to "send to Party" along with the existing print output (ZD02).
ZD02 is triggered automatically on saving the billing document where as ZD05 has to be added manually to the output of the billing document.
Every time we add ZD05 manually, system automatically adds/trigger ZD02 automatically along with ZD05. We dont want this additional ZD05 output to be triggered on adding ZD02.
It will be of great help if anyone can let me klnow the configuration setting which we can do to stop this.

Hi there,
Check what do you have in default settings. You should have "send immediately while saving the application" to trigger the O/p immediately. Transmission medium should be external send to trigger it as a mail O/p.
Also maintain the condition records. Only then O/p will trigger automatically.
Try checking the requirement that is assigned to the O/p in the determination procedure. See if there is any condition to triggger ZD05 & ZD02 together.
