Integration of OA notification with workflow

Hi,
In AP Invoice Hold Notification workflow i have to add one more new column and show in the notification page.
Eventhough i add link in notification page tru personalization but it wont displayed in workflow mail. but i can able to see in notification page.
can any one help me achive this....

not sure.. but just make sure that you are testing this for new notifications after you done changes. Don't test it for old notifications.
Please tell me all the steps done by you in detail..

Guys,
In Integration Directory, I create one Comunication Channel, but, when i actived one, it dosnt appears in RWB Comunication Channel Monitoring.
In Integration Directory -> Environment -> Cache Notifications, show the following error:
Integration Server (Central Adapter Engine) | Directory Change List | pisuper | Standard Change List
With "Standard Change List" as: Not Yet Started
Details: Never change Status.
Can anybody help me?

Facing problem in integrating my custom jsp with the workflow engine

Hi,
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 for BPM 11g implementation on my Application.I have Weblogic Server 10.3 Installed and configured the domain. Also the server is up and running.
I am trying to create workflow and wants to integrate it with my custom jsp but i am facing problem in integrating my custom jsp with the workflow engine.Can you please answer the following questions:
1)how to link BPM human task with my custom jsp (Requester jsp).
2)how my custom jsp data(Requester data) will be stored in workflow engine and how the same data will be visible to the next custom jsp(Reviewer jsp).
This is urgent .Any early reply will be great help.

you forgot to add the usage dependency in the DC metadata section in your DC, you have to add the XSS~utils and fpm as a used DC's as part of your DC, try to add those, if you already done that, so check where missed the adding of used webdynpro components in any of the VAC's or FC's,

Installing Workflow Notification with Gmail as email server...IMAP4

I'm trying to install notification for Workflow and instructions say to use an IMAP4 type of mail server connection, not just IMAP. This is all through the Oracle Application Manager web interface.
We use a special type of Gmail hosting for our company email and I've tried all kinds of combinations of server naming but the Workflow Notification service never succeeds in connecting and then the server never starts up.
Has anyone succeeded in using Gmail for an IMAP4 type incoming email system?
I do have an option to use MS Exchange and may try that if easier...any problems with setting up MS Exchange with Workflow Notification?

What is the error you are getting? Did you try to run "Workflow Java Mailer Setup Test" and see if it reports any errors?

The notification with the ID of 43533 experienced problems when attempting to dispatch an email notification to the role ~WF_ADHOC-62. Subsequently the notification preference for the following users has been set to DISABLED. Please correct the issue and re-enable their notification preference.
so now i have to find out the log file for this notification error.I can get it under $APPLCSF/$APPLLOG directory starting with FNDCPGSC<process_id>.txt. But i dont know how to find out the process id.Can someone please assist me.

Document Management integration with Workflow

Hi anybody,

The existing document management feature in Workflow is reserved for future use. If you want to use iFS and Oracle Workflow together, there is a technical whitepaper available on OTN. Navigate OTN:Products:Oracle Internet File System->Technical Information.

I'm using openbox with whole set of KDE programs (I prefer it this way over KDE with OB as WM).
Is there any way of integrating KDE notifications with OB to make it look neat?

What do you mean "integrating KDE notifications with OB" ?
If it's related to launching KDE applications from OB menu, you can have entries like that :

14. Once my photos look the way I want, I then export them to JPEG. I have set up a Photoshop droplet for Lightroom that will then do all my sharpening after export.
That's it! I know it sounds like a lot of steps, but once you've done it a couple of times it goes by really quick. I'm really loving most things about Lightroom in terms of its cataloging and export options. But the image quality of the Lightroom raw conversions just isn't there yet. I've found by integrating both Capture NX and Lightroom I can get top quality results while still gaining advantage of Lightroom's many nice features. It took me a few days of exploration and experimentation to nail down the optimal workflow for my needs. Hopefully this will help some others out and maybe give them some ideas of their own toward a better workflow.
Please feel free to share your thoughts or own experience on all of this.

Oracle Files with Workflow in OCS release 2

I am trying to configure email notification in the Workflow that comes with OCS release 2. Refering to Oracle Files Admin Guide, page 7-10, it says that I should conifgure sendmail to be used. I want to use OCS mail. Can this be done?
In fact, I need this to be done this way cos SendMail is turned off. My mid tier, calendar, Files, Mail, is sitted on a single server.

Files R2 integrates with Workflow 2.6.2. I believe Workflow 2.6.2 on UNIX requires Sendmail to be configured, but they support other mailers through UNIX gateways. Please refer to the Oracle Workflow Guide for more details.

QM - Procedure for notification standard workflows

Dear everybody,
I Know nothing of the QM module. I have enabled triggered QM quality notification template, but when I create a notification for QM01 transaction, only the coordinator receives a workitem in her workplace. The users responsible of the tasks donu2019t get any workitems in their workplace. Could I get some help with the QM procedure for notification standard workflows? Or else, I ´d appreciate it if anyone knew how to proceed so that the responsible user gets a workitem in his workplace.

This task need to be done by Workflow consultant. But if u have authorizations then pl follow the steps to assign other users to QM notification WF so that they will also get mail in Workplace if any defect raised in QM
1) Enter T-code = OQNW
2) Click on Assign Agents
3) In the next page select QM: Quality notification - INFO and click on Agent assignment in the menu (Top left) and select Create
4) Select User in the pop up window(Choose agent type)
5) Give SAP user name(SAP log in id) in the window and press enter. Like this u can enter the other users

Integrating EC organizational structure with SAP OM

Hi experts,
Do you know if someone has successfully integrated EC Organizational Structure with SAP HCM OM Structure? I mean cases when the organizational struture is created and maintained in SuccessFactors and then transferred to SAP HCM OM (organizational units, positions, holders) in order to avoid double maintenance in SAP. Is there for instance an iFlow delivered by SAP to help with the integration? Just wondered if this kind of integration is worth trying or if it would too complicated.

You should read the EC to SAP ERP integration handbook (found at http://service.sap.com/ec-ondemand) as there are certain caveats regarding field lengths, etc. Ensure that your enterprise structure in Employee Central makes sense from an SAP perspective, because certain objects (e.g. a Department) can be shared by multiple parent objects (e.g. Divisions) and you need to ensure it will make sense in SAP in terms of workflows etc.

Do we have to purchase Advanced Security option of 9i database if we want to use SSO with Workflow ?

I don't belive so, but you might want to check the licensing terms for using the Oracle Single-Sign-On server. For workflow to work, all you need it the mod_osso module which comes with Oracle SSO server.
