Integration of Oracle r11.0.28  with clarify

hi,
Can any one tell how to go about integrating Oracle 11.0.28 with Clarify...is it possible with Oracle Integration server.

Hi Swathi,
Once your done with successful installation of Oracle Access Manager and Oracle Unified Content Management. Planning to integrate with components please do the following steps:
1) Create a UCM Host Identifer with <FQDN:80> of UCM.
2) Create an Access Gate Entry for UCM associated with an Access Server.
3) Create a Form Based Authentication Scheme for UCM and the login page to be deployed in Apache htdocs folder.
4) Install WebGate on UCM Server. Download the irequired nstaller Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_2_3_linux64_APACHE22_WebGate from OTN site or http://edelivery.oracle.com [I don't know about which OS environment UCM is installed]
5) Once webgate is installed successfully. Check the WebGate status in the browser by providing the URL (http://UCM_FQDN:80/acccess/oblix/apps/webgate/bin/webgate.cgi?progid=1)
6) Protect /idc URL in the OAM Policy Domain.
Thanks,
Ajay Babu Pentela

  • Integration of Oracle and Snap Engage with SAP Cloud for Customer

    Hello,
We need to integrate Oracle ( for opportunities, accounts and products ) with SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer).
And also Snap Engage ( for Sales Leads ) with SAP C4C (Cloud for customer ).
Is it possible to do it using custom APIs without engagement of any middleware system?
    Thanks,
    Shikha

    Hi Shika,
In 1408, we introduced two features in C4Service to enable Sales Contact Center scenarios
    1. Follow-up Sales documents from Tickets such as leads and opptys
    2. Flexibility to relabel the Ticket work center to anything you want to call the object such as "Sales Inquiry"
What this allows you to do now is have a Sales Contact Center which can process inbound sales requests from customers in a centralized organization across all supported interaction channels of Email, Social, Chat, CTI/Phone Calls, and coming in 1411 SMS. Given SnapEngage already provides certified integration for C4Service, you can basically setup the solution to create the following business process
    1. Customer contacts company via SnapEngage
    2. SnapEngage automatically routes and creates a C4Service Ticket (Sales Inquiry)
    3. Sales Contact Center agent can evaluate the inquiry and decide to create a follow-up lead or opportunity, which automatically copies the sales inquiry information into the lead or oppty
    4. Lead and Opportunity can use standard territory management capabilities to route it to the appropriate sales person for follow-up
    Good Luck!

  • Integration of Oracle Apex with EBS R12.1.1

    Dear All,
We are in process of integrating Oracle Apex 4.0.2 with EBS R12.1.1 with the help of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/apex-ebs-wp-cabot-consulting-169064.pdf.
After doing all the steps, the moment when we navigate from EBS application to Apex application by clicking on the EBS menu link it ends up with below error
    "404 Not Found
Resource /OA_HTML/null/pls/apex/f not found on this server"
After some analysis i found the below code in "LaunchApex.jsp" for getting the profile value (supposed to be 'http://myserver:port') from custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" and prefixing to "/apex/f?p=applicationid:page::APPS:::" is not happening properly
    String l_launcher = ctx.getProfileStore().getProfile("APEX_HTTP_SERVER");
    l_launcher = l_launcher + "/apex/f?p=" + p_application + ":" + p_page;
    l_launcher = l_launcher + "::APPS:::" + p_item_names + ":" + p_item_values;
as we found that the custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" not exist in EBS system. But it works without any page error if we hard code the entire apex application URL in l_launcher variable, but this takes us to EBS login page instead of Apex application page.
So i feel we can't bypass using profile value from "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" as it has some relation with EBS application session.
So could anyone please help me how we could create custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" or any other options to make the seamless integration of Oracle apex with EBS works without any second login page
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Create a profile under Application Developer Responsibility as follow:
    Name OAE_LAUNCHER
    Application <whatever>
User Profile Name Oracle Application Express Launcher
    Description Oracle Application Express Launcher
    2. Set above profile value under System Administrator Responsibility -> Profile -> System, and search for the ‘OAE_LAUNCHER’.
Set the value at Site Level as:
    http://<hostname>:<Apex port>/pls/apex
Then instead of hardcoding the URL in the jsp, just give the profile name OAE_LAUNCHER that you have just created in the jsp.
    Hope this helps you

    Folks,
Has anybody worked on integrating Oracle Applications with any Legacy System? I'm interested in discussing real time integration between Oracle i-Procurement and Legacy System. Can 9iAS Advanced Queue be used to accomplish this?
If anybody has any information on this topic please reply back or email me at [email protected]
    Regards,

Yes, we have experience with the product Oracle9iAS InterConnect. Adapters are provided to integrate with iProcurement and legacy systems. If your legacy system is non-standard either partners might already have adapters or you can use the adapter development kit to build your own specialized adapter. Check out: http://otn.oracle.com/products/integration/index.html
and I would suggest to contact your Oracle account manager to get a detailed product demonstration and references.

  • Integration of Oracle BI Publisher with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterp

    Hi,
I have started the tutorial " Integration of Oracle BI Publisher with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterp" today but got stuck at the very first step.
The tutorial shows that I can see "SH" and "CountryManagers" in the shared folder but I only see the Paint Demo rpd.
I previously completed the "Creating a Repository Using the Oracle Business Intelligence Administration Tool " tutorial.
Do I need to learn anything prior to this tutorial .
I already have the default rpd as SH in NQSConfig.ini
    Please suggest.

    Nico,
    That didnt help.
    I already have the

I have tried restarting OC4J and Oracle BI Server.
Is there someplace where we need to put the rpd so that it appears in the shared folders.

    Hi,
The Primavera intergration works with the "Standard Intergration" of Oracle 11i & R12.1 with the version of P6, this is the statement was in by the market experts. Even I have not worked on this intergration part of primavera with Oracle. still, I can provide you some search engine links, which could help you in http://www.projectp.com/products/op3.php ; http://www.projectedconsulting.com/index.php/community/blog/2010/04/primavera-and-oracle-projects-integration/

  • Integration of Oracle BI Publisher with OBIEE 11G

    Hi, all.
I want to know How to Integration of Oracle BI Publisher with OBIEE 11G?
Because I can't create data set using Oracle BI Analysis now, and the analyses and dashboards in BIEE presentation catalog is unvisible. Why?
    Thank you.

I may be missing something, but BI Publisher Enterprise is installed at the same time as when you install BIEE on the server. You wouldn't install BI Publisher Desktop on that server. You can use BI Publisher Desktop locally to create templates for use in BI Publisher Enterprise.
I'm much more familiar with XML (BI) Publisher as part of Oracle Apps moreso than BIEE, so I could be wrong in my assessment.
    Hope that helps,

  • Integrating Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service (BICS)

Ever wondered how to integrate Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud with Business Intelligence Cloud Service (BICS) ?
The blog outlines how to programmatically load Sales Cloud data into BICS, making it readily available to model and display on BICS dashboards.
    http://www.ateam-oracle.com/integrating-oracle-fusion-sales-cloud-with-oracle-business-intelligence-cloud-service-bics/

I wouldn't try installing Oracle VM itself on an EC2 instance, as EC2 is essentially Xen itself. Rather, you should just be able to transport existing Oracle VM images to the EC2 cloud. I think this is what you mean, but your opening paragraph is slightly ambiguous. :)
From a VPN perspective, I'd use OpenVPN as it has clients for all major operating systems (Windows, MacOS X, Linux) that are fairly easy to package and install. Packages for OpenVPN exist in EPEL so it's easy to install on OEL5. You could also consider using a firewall instead of a VPN and only allowing connectivity from specific IP addresses/ranges. This has the benefit of not requiring client software, but it does require a fixed IP address/range on the client-side.

  • Integration of Oracle Financials (OF) with Oracle Retail (OR)

    Hi ,
We are currently doing a integration of Oracle Financials with Oracle Retail.
We have deployed BPEL processes for this. The Bpel process which transfers set of books from Oracle Financials is SendGLCCToRetek.
The problem is that the process is not transferring set of books id from Financials to Retail.
Any pointers on how what could be the reason. Is there any other BPEL process which should be deployed ?
Other deployed Bpel proceses are working as expected
    Best regards,
    brinda

The integration of set of books between Financials and Retail (through AIA) is not incorporated, it needs to be manually setup in Retail.
Ex: The Ledger ID's in EBS Financials or PSFT Financials, needs to be manually created as Set of Books in Retail (FIF_GL_SETUP table)

9iAS comes with an Email Server, if that is what you are asking.
You could always write an IMAP portlet, which allows you to read/send mail.

I tried it out but it didn't help.
    I also came across a script initxa.sql (%ORAHOME%/javavm/install)which hasthe
DDL queries to create the JAVA_XA package in oracle. But iam not sure ifthis
is to be manually run on the server or if it should have been run whilethe Database
Creation was done. Any info about this would be helpful

    Hi Raja,

Here is an extract from the documentation:
    ===================================================
Enable XA on the Database Server
To prepare the database for XA, perform these steps:
a.. Log on to sqlplus as system user, e.g. sqlplus
    sys/CHANGE_ON_INSTALL@<DATABASE ALIAS NAME>
b.. Execute the sql: grant select on DBA_PENDING_TRANSACTIONS to public
If the above steps are not performed on the database server, normal XA
database queries and updates may work fine. However, when the Weblogic
Server Transaction Manager performs recovery on a re-boot after a crash,
recover for the Oracle resource will fail with XAER_RMERR.

  • Enforcing integrity using oracle specific data base commands .v. using fron

Full subject : Enforcing integrity using oracle specific data base commands .v. using front end.
It ought to be generally accepted that it is better to enforce integrity directly in the data base using constraints, dependencies, triggers etc rather than leaving it to specific front end programmes.
In my view, the chief advantages - of enforcing integrity directly in the data base - are:
    (1) No process can violate the integrity.
    (2) Being server centric, these commands run on the server and so can be easily sized in one place.
    (3) One time data migration (imports) into the system using Oracle tools or SQL commands would also need to conform to the integrity constraints. Thus an implementor would be assured that the basic data is alright.
I am faced with a situation where we are about to implement a new Oracle based package. During data migration, when we discovered that there are no integrity constraints built into the target data base, the package vendor asserted that it is not necessary to build in integrity into the database. This seems to be an extreme and risky view.
Further, it is argued by the package vendor that putting constraints directly in the data base would significantly increase the needed resources (RAM) on the server. In my view, this increase is trivial and anyway, hardware costs are crashing day by day.
In the absence of integrity checks in the data base, it seems to me that every program would have to extra zero value work to ensure integrity of the end user data. It will still never be complete.
I would like to know the pros and cons of implementing without integrity constraints.
    OK.

OK.It's a shame you seem to be so far into the process and committed to this vendor. I once had a vendor tell us his product would run on Oracle but they recommended MS SQL Server because "oracle can't handle more than 5 concurrent sessions." I made sure that vendor didn't make the short list.
