Integration point in bom

hi ALL
I would like to know the integration point with pp and co with respect to bom
Thanks in advance
Mahesh

Dear Mahesh,
Added to Above inputs,
in some industries  people go with costing BOM's like R&D departments
the only point we need to note is whether it is costing BOM or sales order BOM or Production BOM
there is Costing relevancy indicator tick in BOM it should be ticked
then only system will updates the components price while CK11N & CK24

  • Oracle RTD Integration Point Invoke: Read Timed Out Error

    Hi All,
We are getting the Read Timed Out Exception while invoking the integration points in Oracle RTD after running the batch job.
Till the model doesnt have any data or very less data, we are able to invoke the integration points.
But after executing the batch job even with as less as 100 records we start getting the timeout error when the integration points are invoked explicitly.

I have tried flushing the statistics as well as increasing the IntegrationPointGuaranteed RequestTimeout to 3000.
    But its not helping.
Only for the empty model the integration points get invoked explicity from the test view or the interactive integration map or through the web service. Once executed the batch job I just get a Timeout error.
When i try to set IntegrationPointGuaranteed RequestTimeout to 0 and invoke the integration point it hangs.
    Wat could be the issue/resolution?

    Supriya

    Hi Vamsi,
    Am experiencing the same SDTimeOutException.
And by the way, the Siebel Application Version We are using to integrate to RTD is 8.1.
Can you please throw some light on how to get this Exception resolved?
    Thanks,
    Hariharan

  • What are the integration points with sd and qm

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
what are the integration points with SD and QM.
    in r/3.
    regards,
    balaji.t

    Dear balaji
Before doing PGI, there will be a preinspection stage where SD will have to integrate with QM.  Similarly after sales, whenever there is sales returns, QM will come into picture.
To control the above scenarios, in material master, go to "Quality management" view and click on "Insp.setup" where you need to assign Inspection Types like 04, 06 etc.
    thanks

  • Integration points between SD and PP

Can some one explain the integration points betwwen Sd and PP. Related materials would be very help plz
    thanks

    SD and PP Link
In SAP, there are basicaly some configurations items which provide link between SD and PP, to mention some of them:
    - Requirement type
    - Requirement class
    - Checking group
    - Checking rules
In operation wise, depends on the mode of manufacturing. There 2 basic modes of manufacturing: make to stok and make to order. There are many variants in between, but let just concentrate on the 2 basic types.
    1. Make to stock
    - Production department will produce finish goods base and stock them on the warehouse. They will produce the goods base on forecast. In this case the link is in the forecasting module of PP where all the historical sales order can be taken into account to create a sales forecast.
    2. Make to order
    - Production department will only produce the goods when there are sales order created.
    - During data entry, user can select product variant and this information must be transferred to PP module.
    - The sales order number can be reference during planning and production of the goods.
    - The stock can also be referenced to a sales order number.
    - The product costing module can also refer to sales order number so that if you wish you can identify the margin for each sales order.

  • Integration points QM-PP-SD

Please tell meaning of Integration Points.
And in QM-PP-SD what are the Integration points?

Integration means how two module are interlinked.
As we know QM can not be stand alone module. Its take help & do help to other modules
    like say QM_SD
In two stages, Quality will integrate with SD.
    1) Before despatching the final goods to customer, there will be a final inspection randomly.
    2) Once goods despatched to end customer and in that if there is any quality issues and customer returns the material, at this juncture also, quality inspection will be carried out on the issue raised by customer. For this SD will raise a necessary quality notification thru which, the message will be passed on to quality.
For both the above stages, in material master under Quality view, we would assign inspection type (one for pre despatch and another one for post despatch).
In material master --> go to quality management view --> select inspection set up --> select inspection type --> In inspection give 06 and 10 and click on active --> save it.
Similarly when it comes to PP-QM
Inspection type like 03,13,04 ,05 & 89 can be part of Integration points. Also thing like Inspection points,Control key & work centers can be integration points as they also play imp role in PP-QM integration.
Now this is my own experience ,You may explore more.

  • IRecruitment,SSHR,OLM Integration points with Core HR

    Hi,
We are going for implementation for the above mentioned modules. Can I have these modules integration points with core HR?. Also can any one provide the BR100 docs of these modules?
    Thanks & Regards
    Raaid

My suggestion is to get the white paper of each product.
SSHR is same as Core HR. It is Self Service funtionality of Core HR.
Irec integrate with HR at the person, applicant assignment etc.
OLM intregrate with Core HR at person and assignment, org level.

  • What are the integration points with sd and pm

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
what are the integration points SD and PLANT MAINTAINCE.
    REARDS,
    balaji.t
    09990019711

    Balji,
There is no major integration b/w SD and PM.
But PM is integrated with CS for all service and repair orders.,
If you really want to see where they can be ssen integrated
    Eg:
Pm deifines the roles for the people in shopfloor,if you can make use of these roles and give authorization of removal of credit block to them then it is integrated.
Even when a new machine is purchased or repaired or overhauled the amount is passed to repective cost center internally.
    regards

Imran for your information SDN provides different forum for specific modules, if you had posted MM related issue at Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP)
you would have got a quick responses as expert from respective module often answer to a particular forum.
Hope this help, feel free to revert in case of calrification.

  • Enterprise structure with reference to integration points

    Hi,
Can some one send me information on  Enterprise structure with reference to integration points in SAP-IS RETAIL plz.
Edited by: sayee on Feb 20, 2008 11:54 AM

    Hello Sayee
In the Sales and Distribution module of SAP, there are three different perspectives for an enterprise structure. These are:
    •     Market Oriented Organization structure
    •     Internal Organization Structure
    •     Shipping Related Organization Structure
    Market Oriented Organization Structure
Market oriented Organization structure in the Sales and Distribution module consists of sales organizations, distribution Channels and a reference division. A combination of sales organization and distribution channel forms a Distribution Chain.
    Internal Organisation Structure
Sales Office and Sales Group represent the internal Organization in SAP. The internal Organization structure is used for performance management of sales personnel.
Shipping Related Structure (*For Stock Transport Orders)
Independent Organizational entities, such as shipping points, are responsible for scheduling and processing deliveries to Stores from the Distribution Centre. A delivery is always carried out by one shipping point only. The shipping point depends on the following criteria:
    •     Plant/Site (Distribution Centre)
    •     Shipping Condition
    •     Loading Group
    Thanks

  • Wireless keyboard with integrated pointing device

I would really like to buy a keyboard that has a good pointing devise integrated into the keyboard.
Here is one of the only devises that appears to satisfy this but it is Windows only:
    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/192&cl=us,en
Does anyone know of one? It seems like a logical product for Apple to offer since it frees users from the confines of the desktop only computing experience that mouse dependency requires.
Also, for these forums should there be a Peripheral section under hardware since Apple sells mice and keyboards?

    Hello skarlsrud
    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
I don't have that keyboard, but a little searching turned up some folks using that keyboard with there iMac's.
Have a look at this ☞ [Logitech Forum Thread|http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/message?board.id=mackb&thread. id=397] to see what other users say.
