Integration Proces Kicking off Cache

I am working on a File - > XI(BPM) - > Jdbc scenario. I created an Integration process for the outbound interface and the abstract interface. After I imported the Integration process into the directory, it threw the cache off, and the cache would never get refreshed. Why does this happen? After I delete them , the cache is back to normal. Is this a phenomenon of XI? Any help is appreciated.

a)Start transaction SXI_CACHE.
b)From the context menu XI Runtime Cache select Start Complete Cache Refresh.
c)Call transaction SM58 to check the status of the refresh process.If no entry for function module SAI_CACHE3_REFRESH_BACKROUND is Present any more the cache update is finished.

Many actions require to access System Landscape Directory content from the Integration Builder. To optimize performance, this content is loaded into a cache so that the System Landscape Directory does not have to be accessed directly each time that System Landscape Directory content is required.
However, this cache is not automatically updated if changes are made to the content of the System Landscape Directory. For this reason that we delete the System Landscape Directory cache if changes have been made to content in the System Landscape Directory. The cache is then filled each time that the System Landscape Directory is accessed. If we log on to the Integration Builder after we have made a change in the SLD, we do not need to delete the SLD cache.
To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment ® Delete Cache for SLD Data.
Once we have deleted the cache for SLD data, accessing objects in the SLD may take longer than usual initially.

I'm a newbie with a job that's way over my head and I'm thouroughly confused on
the logic involved with kicking off a business process (workflow) through the
reciept of a JMS message. The docs say it can be done. I have a business process
in one project folder of an enterprise app, its start node is a channel subscription.
Can I somehow send a JMS message directly to the business process? (Send a message
NOT from within the weblogic environment, but from outside) I have created a
Message Driven bean in a seperate project folder of the same application as the
business process. From an outside client, I think I might need to invoke the
MDB with a JMS message, then call the business process from there. Is this totally
off-base? What do event generators have to do with any of this?

Yes, you use the event generator.
Open up the Weblogic Integration console, click on Event Generators.
Add a JMS Event generator that listens to the queue you are interested
in, and then select the channel that your process has subscribed to.

I get kicked off safari on ipad air

Try this:
Apple menu / System Preferences / Network.
Click Location: and select Edit Locations..
Click + (plus sign), and enter a name for the new location - anything will do.
Apply this.

Unless as part of a backup, or stored somewhere else, they are gone.
Your son needs his own Apple ID for iCloud, FaceTime & iMessage. He can continue to use yours for iTunes content, but for everything else, he needs his own.
When you did what you did, as far as iCloud knows, this is the same person with multiple devices, and that's they way things are supposed to work: keep everything in sync.

How do I get my ipod back on the school wifi after being kicked off?

My school has password locked wifi, which every student knows the password to. Every so often, they kick people's iPod's off the wifi and it won't ever connect. Not during school, not football games or basketball games, not ever again. It really ticks me off because my iPod was kicked off today. I don't get on a lot during school but I do tweet and facebook during ball games. Is there a way to override/avoid the block? Could I maybe reset the iPod or the network settings? Payables Transfer to General Ledger does not kick off Journal Import

Hello,
This is on 11.5.10.2.
We have some invoice batches that are not posted in GL. This problem is sporadic and only happens for some batches and not all. It is unclear to why some batches are posted fine and others are not.
The problem is at payable trasnfer to General Ledger program. After these batches are validated and create accounting has been executed successfully, we submit Payables Trsnfer to General Ledger program.
This program does not kick of Journal Import child process for these batches. It just completes normally without showing any error detail on log/output.
What could be the reason? Why Payables Transfer to General Ledger is not kicking off Journal Import for these batches?
I have even verified GL_INTERFACE and there is nothing there.
Please advise.

Auto-kick off MaxL script after Oracle GL data load?

Hi guys, this question will involve 2 different modules: Hyperion and Oracle GL.
My client has their accounting department updating Oracle GL on a daily basis. My end-user client would like to write a script to automatically kick off the existing MaxL script which is for our daily data load in Hyperion. Currently, the MaxL script is manually executed.
What's the best approach to build a connection for both modules to communicate with each other? Can we use a timer to trigger the run? If so, how?

Global rules not kicking off when calling CHECKIN_NEW webservice

Hi All,
We are trying to call CHECKIN_NEW/CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL web services with mandatory fields like doctype, securitygroup, title, primary file etc..
It is working fine, but the global rules were not kicking off.
Ex: Say, we have a rule that says Field_A is mandatory when SecurityGroup=Public.
But when we are invoking the webservice with SecurityGroup=Public, content is getting checked-in even though we are not passing the Field_A value.
We need the global rules to kick-off and give us error/warning that there is field missing...
Can you please let us know if we are missing something here, or there is other way to get this requirement?

I now tested with RIDC code below, but still the global rule is not kicking off. I ahve a global rule, which says "xSwcDocumentSubType" should be mandatory. But if we see code below, i commented out that value, but still content is getting checked in.

How to kick off workflow from Web Dynpro?

Hi,
I have abap experience but haven't used workflow before. I have to kick off a workflow from a java web dynpro.
I think that I need to set up a business object and an event within this object, as step one. I then go to Status Management in the Business Workflow as I need to establish a relationship between the web dynpro and my event, step two.
The question is, what Status Object type do I use in this Status Management? For example if I was releasing a production order I could set this to ORH.
