Re Importing Previous versions of Object / Namespaces in Integration Rep

Hi I have the following scenario.
I have exported my namespace as a tpz file from the XI Dev system. And then I make some changes to some objects in the same namespace . But I want the previous version (previously exported tpz file ) back . So when I try to import the previous tpz file back into the integration repository , I am able to do this activity sucessfully but no changes of the previous version are applied . The current version is still present in the namespace .
And a strange thing is happening . The 2 Object Attributes in the Display Software Components Version Page "Objects are orignal Objects" and "Objects are modifiable" are unchecked now for the SWCV .
But when I exported the previous version they were checked. I am not sure what is happening . Can any one please suggest .

Hi,
*You want to get back to the previous version.
If you have exported the very first verion creating a .tpz file then follow these few steps :
first export the current namespce.
Delete the current Namespce.
Import the previous version or the very first version of the namespace which you ,, you can trace it by the date&time stamp patched to it.
Activate the new namespace.
*the object are checked as because of the security reason.
there is absolutely no problem in that, these are unchecked so that no one will be able to edit it manually with the proper transport which you can see in production/ quality environment.

Integration scenarios from Integration Rep

Hi
I try to import integration scenarios from Integration respository to Inetgration directory. But when I click on Tools --transfer scenarios from Irep, and then click on the question mark, there are no scenarios showing up.The Table is empty.
Can any one help??

Hi,
Check whether your Integration scenario is activated properly or not....?once you activate it...you should be able to see the your integration scenario in the ID.
Tools--->Transfer Integration scenario from Integration repository.Go for help button....and wait for a while...u can able to see all the objects of IR and filter according to ur namespace where u have developed ur integration scenario.

Integration Directory - Business Scenarios organization

Hi,
In the Integration Directory for configuration, the business scenarios are the highest level for configuring a scenario.
After creating many scenarios, it is becoming hard for me to manage logically related business scenarios. I am resorting to structured naming to keep logically related scenarios grouped together.
Is there a better way that can be suggested ? Is SAP planning for similar grouping concept like software components / versions / namespaces for the configuration aspect too ?

Problem Logging it to Int Rep and Int Dir of SAP XI

Hi,
I m using SAP XI 3.0, I am maintaing 2 systems, one as server and one as client. In the client system I have installed J2e engine and SAP GUI. I have problem logging in to Integration rep and Int Dir in the Client system. I have no logging problem in SERVER, but I have in Client system.
So pls help me in this regard....

If its a problem in the exchange profile, then how is it possible to log in to the SAP XI Server, which is having the same use name and password.
User Name and Pass Word of Server System is Same as the Client system.I can log in to the server but I am unable to log in to client system which is another system.

I am having the same error when trying to start the IS com.sap.aii.ibdir.server.applcomp.StartupCodeEntry. Have you found the solution to this issue? If yes, can you give me some info on how i can resolve this error? I can get SLD and RWB to start but for Integration Rep and Integration Dir i am getting this error

Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository

I am in the process of setting up a 2004s PI system. I have gone thru the PI template installer in the NWA, applied note 939592 due to a central SLD and I am not stepping through the readiness check from note 817920. I am using version 3 of the check. I am running into an error at step 2.7. This is the step to test the connectivity between the Integration Directory and the Integration Repository. When I press the F4-Help for the Field name, the search results returns "No objects found!". I checked all the connections in the exchange profile and they all seem to be set properly. Yes, I checked everything under the "Connections" section to make sure port, host name, user and passwords were correct. From what I can see, it is all correct. I also checked under the IntegrationBuilder and IntegrationServer sections to make sure the port, host, user and passwords are correct. From what I could see, it was all correct.

Error when loading wsdl"No global key defined"

I am working on a IDOC -Web Service scenario.The wsdl provided from the destination has been uploaded as a External definition.When I add it to the mapping part, I get an error saying that "No global key defined".

Error while Exporting IR SWC

Hello,
i am trying to export one SWC in IR from dev to Quality.
But while exporting i am getting the error:
Workspace was not defined for sofware component version
Assign the SWC in the landscape configurator of the change management service to a track.
But i have already assigned my SWC to the correct track in CMS.
Any ideas what could be the problem.

I was just told by a Lenovo CS rep that the W520 doesn't support 6Gbps for "data integrity" reasons

The main HDD bay in my W520 drops from 6Gbps to 3Gbps shortly after boot. The speed drop is triggered when I start to pass data over the port. I can take the same drive (Vertex 3 240GB) and put it in the ultrabay and I get full 6Gbps speeds. It seems pretty obvious to me that this is a problem with the SATA controller on the laptop's motherboard (my specific laptop, not the whole run; other prople have the same drive with no issues), but after arguing with Lenovo support for over a week now, a customer satisfaction rep just sent me this email:
"I was able to confirm with are technical support that SSD transfer rate for the W520 ThinkPad is 3,0GB/s (chipset has the capability but we limit it for data integrity). So, your system is working as designed.
One bay for removable devices, Ultrabay Slim-compatible, 12.7mm high, bottom access

Obviously, these numbers refer to the speeds of the drives that Lenovo sells, not the speed that the port itself is capable of. Additionally, there are dozens of people that have confirmed that the main bay is capable of 6Gbps speeds. I also confirmed this with several sales reps before I purchased the laptop.
How should I handle this? He is going to have his tech support people call me back tomorow, but I seriously doubt they're going to be very helpful.

Integration scenario in rep

hi,
i'm creating an integration scenario inthe repository. B2B. the scenari has two action one which picks a file and pother which drops a file. i'm creating the applicaiton component as template. after doing the entire configuration when i import it in directory and when i'm tryin assign communcation channel for the first action its showing communaction channel not required. but it is required. i've created the party, service and communcatio channle in the directory. and the sender party and sender service is being properly assigned from the integration scenario editor. anybody can suggest something.. please.

Hi Rahul,
it is necessary to add the required interfaces into the /servicesparties (including BPM service) in the directory, which are connected to the process.
receiver agreements are not stand alone but connected to interfaces.
Possibly this will solve your problem!

REP integration with STP Networks

I would like to know what are the recommended steps that I need to put in interaction one REP ring and a STP Network. This is because I have a ring of Cisco Devices supporting rep, but my others devices aren´t so I need to make a new connection but I don´t wanna create a loop. I know thar ports REP enabled drop STP TCNs.
What would be the best way to do this?, is there docummentation available for this?.

REP-56055 exceedign maxconnections

Hi ,
i m getting error REP 56055 while running a report form a in a browser output format pdf
I searched on many forums and i have made the changes like
1. repserver.conf : maxconnect :3000 idletimeout :40
2. reports/dtd/rwserver.conf : EngineResponsetimeout :5
i restarted the reports services after that but still the REP 56055 is coming
pls help me for the solution

The change is not to be made in DTD (rwserverconf.dtd).
It has to be made in $OH/reports/conf/server_name.conf
