Integration Repository Issue in XI

Hi,
I am working on MM-SUS Classic Scenario, We have to still set up XI.
On configuring the XI Part,   I am unable to see "Service Procurement" and "Plan Driven Procurement"  option while Transfering Integration Scenario from Integration Repository in Integration Directory  of XI at the Tools option in Menu Bar.
Kindly Can you tell me what prerequisites required for it. We have maintained SLD correctly.
My question is  : What  and how we have to be configured in Integration Repository for this?
Kindly tell me the steps for it.
Thanks,
Pawan Keshwani

Hi Pawan,
Kindly ask your Basis team to install the SRM 7.0 Business Packages and install all SRM 7.0 content into the IR of XI.

Nikhil

  • Issue loading Meta Data for IDoc Type WPUKSR01 in XI Integration Repository

    Hi,
I want to load the Meta Data for IDoc Type WPUKSR01 in XI Integration Repository out of BI. Unfortunately, this IDoc is not available in the IDoc List. I checked in BI and the IDoc Type is available in WE60 and WE30. Also, I can load the Meta Data for the Idoc in XI ABAP (IDX2).
Can someone tell me why the IDoc doesn't show up in XI Integration Repository Import Object List?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards.
    Alex

    Hi Aamir,
The Idoc is released since Release 30A. I also tried to load the IDoc Meta Data from ERP with the same result: it does not show up in the list.
    Thanks anyway.

  • Error when starting the Integration Repository/Directory

When starting the Integration Repository or Directory I get the following error message when the Java Web Start is launched:
<i>JAR resources in JNLP file are not signed by same certificate</i>
    I am running on XI3.0 SP15
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,

    Solved this issue.
Go to Administration - Java Web Start Administration.
Click on 'Re-initialization and force signings' and start the Repository or Directory again.

  • Modification Buttons not active in Integration Repository

    Hello,
we have a strange behaviour in Integration Repository. With java 1.3 on frontend all looks fine but with 1.6 modification buttons (text-preview...) for message-mapping objects (tab Design) are not active.
Does anybody know this issue? What can we do to sail round this problem?
    Thanks
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
I faced the same issue some times back, when I upgraded java from 1.4  to 1.6 version.
So I had to disable all the java version later than java 1.4.2.
    Try this steps :-
    1. go to Control Panel - Java.
    2. In Java control panel , go to General tab.
In temprory internet files click View. Here delete all the entries related to Your XI link.
    3. In Java control panel, go to Java tab.
In java Applet Runtime Settings, click View. Uncheck all the version later than java 1.4.2.
In java Application Runtime Settings, click View. Uncheck all the version later than java 1.4.2.

    hi,
go to http://<host>:<port>/index.html -->User Management log in using j2ee_admin
When you go into one of the tabs, there will a client entry . Just change.
You should able to do the same thing with UME provider service in the visual admin.
Please check Note 938980 if you are using VPN.
This is probably a Java Web-Start issue. Please check logon with other JWS versions. Also check if you have any conflicting JWS versions installed.
This is a checklist for logon errors:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1688 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
Or, you can do it as mentioned below:
Integration builder is a fat client and the required java libraries are downloaded for the same from the server. Downloading of libraries only happen for the first time using the Java Web Start.
Sometimes there can occur problems while downloading theses libraries and error will show up as 'Unable to open Integration Builder'.Following is the checklist when this error occurs.
    1. Ensure that the required JDK is being used in the clent system
    2. Set the proxies to NONE in the Java Web Start by navigating
    Start>Programs>Java Web Start>File>Preferences-->Proxies
    3. Also check for the Host name & IP Address in the Hosts file under u201CC:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc hostsu201D

  • Authorization Error in Integration Repository

    Hi,
I have authorization issues with Integration Repository(IR) in XI 7.0 Server. While logging into IR, i use the PISUPER id which works fine. But if i use other id it throws authorization error.
I am using client 710 and have created an id with relevant roles to login to IR which failed. Then i created same id on 001 client and could logon to IR with that id. This means that while logging into IR, it points to 001 client and not 710 that i am using. Thus i need to use 2 different ids: one for IR that points 001 client and other for logging into SAP system on 710 client.
I referred the below thread which tells the same.
    Authorization Error
Can someone explain me about this.
Also can i use the same id for logging to IR and SAP system?
    Regards,
    Chintan Sheth

    Hi,
    Thanks for replying.
Yes i know that users and roles are client dependent. But my problem is different.
I hav created a new client 710 which is copy of 001 client and also performed the post steps as per SAP Note 940309.
The problem i face is while logging to Integration Repository. I have id PISUPER on both the clients 001 and 710. But for logging to IR it accepts the logon credentials of 001 client and not of client 710. I understood this when i changed the password of PISUPER on client 710.
As per my knowledge, for logging to IR it should use the user master record of client 710.
    Kindly help me on this.
    Regards,
    Chintan Sheth

  • Storage of IDOC definitions in Integration Repository

    Hi there,
I'm trying to define development standards for the use of XI and I can't seem to find any recommendation for the storage of SAP interface definitions (IDOCs, RFCs, etc)within the Integration Directory.
We have an environment with multiple SAP systems including regional R/3 systems which have differing definitions of standard IDOCs - eg different ORDERS05 IDOCs, so do I need to store these definitions in system specfic SWCV?
My thought is to create a Product in the SLD (OUR_BASIS) with multiple SWCV relevant to specific SAP systems (OUR_BASIS_R3_EUROPE, OUR_BASIS_R3_USA etc) each of which could be brought into the Integration Repository to store the system specific objects. The names are non-SID specific to prevent naming issues moving through development, quality and live XI environments. I would then link the product to each of the SAP systems in the SLD, adding new SWCV as more systems are put into the SLD.
Does this seem like a reasonible solution? Does anyone else have or know of other recommendations?
I will be grateful for any assistance and will dish out reward points as appropriate.
    Many thanks,
    - Ian

    Hi Ian,
I tried to understand the reason of why would you want to create custom software components in your SLD for multiple SAP systems and import IDocs arising out of these systems into different software component versions? I guess this would defeat the basic purpose of developing objects under software components and the idea of developing integration objects (mapping, data type etc) under software components and not based on phycial system or geographical location.
Let's take an example. If you consider software component X release 1.1 installed on SAP system A. Consider this is a standard software component version delivered by the vendor. And you don't have any authorization to change the objects under this software component. In such scenario, whether you have this software component installed on SAP System A or B or C you just need to import it once under that software component version. Say IDoc ORDERS05. Irrespective of which system you download it from, it's definition is going to remain the same.
Also, system dependencies and actual source and target definitions should not be part of your software component versions. They should be in Integration Directory and should be kept independent of the software components.
Any custom development will be obviously grouped under custom software components.

    Hi,
It seems that jar files for IR has not been imported into your local machine and that is the reason it is not opening. What happens when you click on IR is, it just connect to your server and imports the neccessary jar files to your local machine but some time if system is very busy then the connection breaks, so in this case you may have to click many times on IR so that all jar fils will be imported on your local machine. The percentage of jar files imported will be displayed at the time of import and at the same time if conncetion goes down then next time it starts from the point where it got disconnected (not from the starting). I guess this is the problem.

  • Error launching integration repository (Java)

    Hi,
When trying to launch the integration repository side (within the explorer), I get a poup requesting a network password to a scheme. I am not sure what to enter after clicking on the No button, the box pops up saying that it is checking for latest version.
Any ideas, I can not get into the repository.
    Thanks,
    Leanne

    Hi,
It seems to be a problem with the Browser proxy setting that Java web start is picking up by default.
go to preferernces and set the proxy to none.
Proxy has to been set none in Java web start not in IE.
    Also
Your browser settings might be restricting you to access web start every time and asking for your authorization before it logs on. Try to access your XI Server from some other machine and check that are you still getting the same issue:
To access XI Server use this path:
    http://<xiserver name of IP Address>:<J2EE port number>/rep/start/index.jsp
You can check proxy settings in : Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet options -> Go to Connections tab -> Lan Settings.
    Thanks

  • WebServices in the 'Oracle Integration Repository

Recently we are upgraded to Oracle 11.5.10.2 and trying to integrate with our custom application using ‘WebServices’.
I found couple of webservices in the ‘Oracle Integration Repository” list, which is at ‘http://irep.oracle.com/index.html’, But how to configure in Oracle 11.5.10.2 and expose/use/access those webservice’s from other IAS servers/Applications (like BizTalk).
I will appreciate if any one helps me.

there is a problem with Oracle Integration Repository which was available
at http://irep.oracle.com. The Welcome page is available but I cannot open the repository.
Is there a new address for this repository or it is not available anymore ?It should be available but looks like there is an issue with the site. Just wait for some time and it should be fixed.
There is no alternative site for iREP.
If you are on R12, you can use "Oracle Integration Repository" which is available as a responsibility.
    Thanks,

Ensure below steps has been performed correctly:
    8. Enable ASADMIN user using the following steps:
    1. Log on to Oracle E-Business Suite using sysadmin/sysadmin.
    2. Select the User Management responsibility in the Navigator.
    3. Click the Users link from the navigation menu to open the User Maintenance window.
    4. Locate 'ASADMIN' user by entering information in the search area to retrieve the 'ASADMIN' user.
    5. Click the Update icon next to the ASADMIN user to open the Update User window.
    6. Remove the Active To date field and click Apply.
    7. Click the Reset Password icon next to the ASADMIN user to open the Reset Password window.
    8. Enter new password twice and click Submit.
    9. After activating the ASADMIN user, verify if the ASADMIN user has the 'Apps Schema Connect Role' (UMX|APPS_SCHEMA_CONNECT) role in wf_user_roles.
If the 'Apps Schema Connect Role' role is not present in the wf_user_roles for the ASADMIN user, then run the 'Workflow Directory Services User/Role Validation' concurrent program to grant the role.
    10. Reset the 'ASADMIN' password in the file system.
After 'ASADMIN' user is enabled from Oracle E-Business Suite, update the file
$INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/config/system-jazn-data.xml as shown below to reset the password:
    <user>
    <name>ASADMIN</name>
    <display-name>Default Apps SOA User</display-name>
<description>Used by SOAProvider for DB connection</description>
    <credentials>!<NEW PASSWORD></credentials>
    </user>
Note: The password should be preceded by a '!' (Exclamation) so that when OAFM is started,
it gets encrypted. For example, if your password is 'welcome', then you should write it in the above file as "!welcome".
    11. Bounce the middle tier.
If password in above file not matching what asadmin user password is setup in fnd_user, it will give that error.
