Integration Repository not registering in SLD

I have had a server released to me for final config, (PI7.0 SP10) but I am having some errors during final config/post installation steps.
There errors are:
#10 13:24:04 [AWT-EventQueue-0] ERROR com.sap.aii.utilxi.swing.toolkit.ExceptionDialog: Throwable
Thrown:
MESSAGE ID: com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException
com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Cannot connect to Repository
I have checked the ExchangeProfile, SLD, Users are not lcoked.  I have looked into rep/support/public/index.html Log
407 12:54:13 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_188] ERROR com.sap.aii.ib.core.util.AbstractWebUtils: Internal error: Could not find SLD name for XI Application "RWB"
Thrown:
MESSAGE ID: com.sap.aii.ib.bom.landscape.rb_landscape.SLD_***_NOT_FOUND_EX
com.sap.aii.ib.bom.landscape.SLDElementNotFoundException: Unable to find an associated SLD element (source element: SAP_XIIntegrationRepository, [CreationClassName, SAP_XIIntegrationRepository, string, Name, repository.xib.vpsddbvirt, string], target element type: SAP_XIIntegrationServer)
Basically, the Integration repository will not register in the SLD.
Any ideas?  I have run SXI_CACHE, and /CPACache/refresh?mode=full but this hasn't helped.  I have asked Basis to check all Applications are running in Deploy in the Java Visual ADmin.
Everything appears to have registered correctly.  I am loathe to use OSS Note 764176 as this is a Major component.

I have only mentioned that I have checked them - and by that I mean compared to Test and Dev (with the domain changing for different servers)

Or, you can do it as mentioned below:
Integration builder is a fat client and the required java libraries are downloaded for the same from the server. Downloading of libraries only happen for the first time using the Java Web Start.
Sometimes there can occur problems while downloading theses libraries and error will show up as 'Unable to open Integration Builder'.Following is the checklist when this error occurs.
    1. Ensure that the required JDK is being used in the clent system
    2. Set the proxies to NONE in the Java Web Start by navigating
    Start>Programs>Java Web Start>File>Preferences-->Proxies
    3. Also check for the Host name & IP Address in the Hosts file under u201CC:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc hostsu201D

    Hello,

Is there a new address for this repository or it is not available anymore ?
    Kind regards,

there is a problem with Oracle Integration Repository which was available
at http://irep.oracle.com. The Welcome page is available but I cannot open the repository.
Is there a new address for this repository or it is not available anymore ?It should be available but looks like there is an issue with the site. Just wait for some time and it should be fixed.
There is no alternative site for iREP.
If you are on R12, you can use "Oracle Integration Repository" which is available as a responsibility.

  • XYZ.SystemHome.sapxyz not registered in SLD in HA environment

We have an HA (High Availability) Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 system (SID = XYZ) installed on Unix servers.  Virtual host names were used during the HA installation. The database runs on its own server (virtual hostname oraxyz) and the application runs on its own server (virtual hostname sapxyz).  The SLD is local on the Solution Manager system.  RZ70 (ABAP) and the VA SLD Data Supplier (Java) are both
configured and report regularly to the SLD.
We are trying to set up SMD agents.  In the Solution Manager system we execute transaction solman_workcenter -> Root Cause Analysis -> Agent Administration.  On the Agent Administration screen, we click on Agent Candidates Management. On the next screen, the following error is displayed: "Managing System 'XYZ.SystemHome.sapxyz' is not registered in the SLD".  Also, the 'XYZ.SystemHome.sapxyz' entry in the Information section on this screen has a yellow triangle.  The SLD connection tests work from this screen.
There are entries in the SLD for 'XYZ.SystemHome.oraxyz' but none for 'XYZ.SystemHome.sapxyz'. In SLD Administration -> Content Maintenance, the class SAP AS Java Cluster (SAP_J2EEEngineCluster) is named XYZ.SystemHome.oraxyz and is the only Content entry we found with that naming format (SID.SystemHome.orasid).  I could not find any SLD Content with the name of XYZ.SystemHome.sapxyz.
Has anyone seen this error on their HA (or other) installation?  Can the SAP_J2EEEngineCluster SystemHome property in SLD Content Maintenance be changed to XYZ.SystemHome.oraxyz without breaking anything else?  Is there another way to eliminate this error?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    WL

Thanks you Shailesh.  I checked out the link but it looks like it's PI and not Sol Man.  There appears to be a parameter in the PI ExchangeProfile to address this but there is no ExchangeProfile in Solution Manager.
I didn't see a way to change the SystemHome property of SAP_J2EEEngineCluster, but I don't know if that is the correct solution.  I don't know why the managing system is not registering itself properly in the SLD with the correct hostname.
    Any other ideas?

    WL

  • IR and ID not registered in sld as exchange infrasructure ?

    Hi Guys,
We have installed NW2004s and SP 14.  The PI is configured for central sld on the solmanager. I did all the settings for the central sld.
If i go to Technical systems of type Exchange Infrastructure on central sld all the components except IR and ID are registred. I see there adapter engine, integration server,RWB but not ID and IR.
I cannot even import the SWCV from central sld into IR and i also dont see the list of adapters in ID and i get the error during the cache notification saying central sld cannot be reached.
any help would be really appreciated
    Thanks,
    Srini

    Hi,
They will register themselves when you run them for the first time. Try it, if they don't, I can give you more information on the issue.
Also, check your Exchange Profile parameters for the host names, users and passwords.
For the adapter metadata missing in ID, did you import XI Content to the IR?

  • Not able to import software component into Integration Repository from SLD

    Hi,
I am new in XI(PI). I have created Technical system, business system and software component properly.
But when I go to IR and import the software component, it gives me an error message +*'Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "sapxi:50000".
Can anyone tell me the reason for this...and solution...Please help me out...
    Thanks/Regards

    Hi,
As your question says that, your are not able to import your software component version in to IR.
First better you cross check your software component is available or not in the SLD.
Can you please go to SLD and got to search field and give your software component name and search for the availablity. If you are able to see your software component detailse and after referesh your cache.environment->clear sld data cache
and try once and also please check your SLD information like logical system name and everything and try If still your facing the same problem let me know.
Just check if the replies in this thread help you:
    unable to import from SLD
Unable to read software component versions from SLD

  • Error in Integration Repository: ..SecStore.properties does not exist

    Hi Guys!
I'm getting this error when I try to tick and save the values "Objects Are Original Objects" and "Objects Are Modifiable" in a software component version in the Integration Repository:
"ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseResourceException: SQLException thrown by the physical connection: com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException: Error while accessing secure store: File "
<hostname>\sapmnt\XIP\SYS\global\security\data\SecStore.properties" does not exist although it should.."
Would any of you know what might be wrong?
    I'm using PI 7.0.
    Warm Regards,
    Glenn

Is your XI installed on SQL Server? Seems like there is a db connection error woth XI to the underlying database.
Check if the DB instance is running.

  • Modification Buttons not active in Integration Repository

    Hello,
we have a strange behaviour in Integration Repository. With java 1.3 on frontend all looks fine but with 1.6 modification buttons (text-preview...) for message-mapping objects (tab Design) are not active.
Does anybody know this issue? What can we do to sail round this problem?
    Thanks
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
I faced the same issue some times back, when I upgraded java from 1.4  to 1.6 version.
So I had to disable all the java version later than java 1.4.2.
    Try this steps :-
    1. go to Control Panel - Java.
    2. In Java control panel , go to General tab.
In temprory internet files click View. Here delete all the entries related to Your XI link.
    3. In Java control panel, go to Java tab.
In java Applet Runtime Settings, click View. Uncheck all the version later than java 1.4.2.
In java Application Runtime Settings, click View. Uncheck all the version later than java 1.4.2.

    "Service Interfaces",

Do we have to import it explicitly?

  • How to create abapProxy in nw 7.01 not 7.1 from integration repository

i use nw 7.01 , it's sproxy inteface is different old and new ones like 7.1 so i couldnt create abap proxy in sproxy.I created an message interface in integration repository but i couldnt find any object releated to this in sproxy..
I found some documentation about 7.1 , it mentions that you must create a service interface in IR but in my version it doesnt exist.
so how to create or copy existing proxy class?
    Thanks alot

I guess it should be similar to PI 7.0 environment wherein you have to create message interface in IR. Then use SPROXY transaction at R3 (not XI). From there you may select the interface and create proxy. For this make sure that abap proxy is activated at your R3 system.
