Integration Server not found while creating Business system

Hi all,
I m facing following problems in XI.
While creating Business system, "integration server" name is not displayed in the drop down box. and
I m getting the error "Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "XXXXXX:50000"" while importing software components in Repository from SLD.

Hi Vijay
Please check if you have assigned the correct Integration server to the business system in SLD.
and for the the software component error check if the user has required access (roles assigned) for importing the software component.

Technical System not appearing while creating Business System

Hi
We had already created business system and assigned a technical system and all the interfaces was working fine.
Now we removed the technical system and created a new technical system, since we need to point to different server.
I created a new technical system, oped the old business system and in integration tab, when i click on change technical system.
The newly created technical system is not appearing.
Thought of assigning the business system directly in technical system, but it is not allowing and i am getting message business system is already assigned.
Can you pls help

Hi Madhan,
When you create a Business System, it will ask for the type of Technical system like Web AS ABAP, Web AS Java etc.
So, the new TS type should match the TS type you selected for your BS so that you can see your TS in the dropdown, when you click on "Change" link.

CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Error while creating Business System

Hi,
I am getting following error while creating Business System in SLD, the Technical System is already created from RZ70 transaction in the IDES system

Hi,
This error means that a business system with this name(or associated with this technical system) is already there in SLD.
You need to check that before you try creating it (might be someone else have created it before)

If you have created and deleted a business system and then trying to recreate one then you need to delete all the instance of it from Content Management (in SLD)

PISUPER not able to create business systems

Dear All,
I am trying to create business systems in ID using PISUPER by importing from SLD. However, I keep getting a warning message saying 'Insufficient authorisation to create communication component'.
I check for all the required roles for PISUPER and they exist.
When I checked the J2EE logs, i can see the below error:
Context does not exist session id=com.sap.engine.session.exec.UserContextImpl@254ea7b6[ clientId=null, clientSessions=[], persistent Model=null]
Location: com.sap.conn.jco
Please could someone help me to resolve this.

check if you have USERS: PIDIRUSER & PIREPUSER
with Roles:
SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER
SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE
And User Type must be service.
Also check Users are not locked.
also check if everything is fine with user SAPJSF...
(TCP/IP) LCRSAPRFC should point to correct Integration Server. Also the Program ID should be registered in the JCO connections of Integartion server with user SAPJSF.

System Type ERP not available while creating Buisness System For ECC in SAP Sourcing 9.0

I need to import Master data in SAP Sourcing but when i am uploading master data i am getting this errror
Business system ECQCLNT340 does not match with local SAP Sourcing System ID SOURCING.
i have followed the steps in config guide of SAP ERP with SAP Sourcing.
when i am creating business system in SAP Sourcing system type ERP is not available.
i have also attached the error file, please check

this issue has been resolved and i have completed the installation part of SAP Sourcing and Contract generation.
Now , I am getting error while uploading clause document, my functional team member are not able to upload clause document. kindly suggest.
----------------------Error Description---------------
Login with buyer link into the system-> it has all authorizations
then Goto -> Contract Management -> Clause Library -> Clause list -> Click on New button -> Click on Add button -> Browse Document
it is showing POPUP with Error that "There is a problem with the Contract Generation web service Contact your system administrator"

Problem while creating business system...?

Hi All
My Scenario is RFC - To - File. For this i am trying to creating a business system with web as ABAP. I have specified all the parameters but when i click on next i am getting "The selected client has an associated logical system name that is already used for another business system. Select a different client" message.
Now how to create an another business system as web as abap with same server , client , installation number and all.... Could you please tell me...
I dont want to use the existing business system

There is no problem in reusing the business system.
The selected client has an associated logical system name that is already used for another business system. Select a different client" message. if u want to create another business system...give dirretent Logical System name
and different client

Integration Server not found

All,
I am not able to see Integration Server in the drop down while creating a Business System for third party.
Is this something to do with configuration? How to resolve this issue? Please help.

performed that you have to do all of them yourself
as you might have a lot of problems during development

Audit types which are configured not found while creating Audit

I have configured new Audit types in Audit managment. But while creating Audit in transaction PLMD_AUDIT, I could not find these in drop down of Audit type. How to rectify this problem?

Country specific "Israel " not found while creating wage type in ECC 6

While creating the wage type , I am not able to find Israel as a country in the drill down.
Should this be taken as Others or what is the procedure when we are unable to find a country to select.

You dont have payroll driver for Israel.. You have to assign Molga "99" in u r user profile, and u also need assign "99" as molga in the node assignement of personnel area to company code.

We are using BI7 and source system ECC6 ,We are about to move to production, When creating the source system in BI PRD system we getting the Error Modification not possible.we created RFC connection, background user and remote connection works fine.

Check if your logical systems are in place in SCC4 and also in the transport connection.
Also check if you are connecting to the source system by IP Address or by logical name.
Accordingly you would have to maintain the source system connections.

We had a work around.
When the sales order was saved, being in Partner function Tab we got the error message. However when we returned to the Overview and saved the Order, we were through with the same. But, Iam not sure how could this happen.

Vendor not found while creating SC after replicating from r/3 to srm

I tried to replicate some vendors from r/3 to srm and when i used the t-code bbpgetvd i got a message that it has already been replicated but wheni am trying to create a Shopping Cart and assigning vendor to the cart it is giving me a message that no supplier is assign and no possible source of suply found in the system?PLS answer my question its urgent.

I understand that you have moved your partner information from R/3 to SRM. In SRM, all the Partner(vendor) information is stored in BUT000 master table. The type of partner = 02.
Go to transaction BP in SRM and check for the partner data. If found, go to master table BUT000 and check there. If you dont find your data overthere track the msg flow.
Else you should be able to create the cart.

Ora driver not found while creating an SPL based adapter

I was trying to create an SPL adapter.
When I select the database ("ORCL") where the SPLs are locate I get in the notes
of Design Console:

Exception Type: java.lang.ClassNotFoundExceptionMessage: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
I copied ojdbc14.jar the from OIM_HOME/xellerate/ext to OIM_DC_HOME/xlclient/ext
as recommended by the manual.
Do I need to do something else? The IT resource ORCL should be ok, it is used
in other modules.

SQL> select file_name, tablespace_name, file_id, status from dba_data_files where file_id= 255;
If this is a temp data file, you can work with resolution of below SAP Note.

How to create Business System in SLD with Role "Integration Server"

Hi,
We were trying to create a Business system of role "Integration Server" in SLD. However, we are getting an error saying "There is already an Integration Server defined foer the selected Technical System. Select as Application System."
We could not find any relevant BS with the role "Integration Server" for that Technical System.
Please advice.

I have same situation on a fresh installation.
Also error "There is already an integration server defined for the selected technical system; select the Application System role".
But, there is no Business system at all visible and also the Business system tab of the technical system is completely empty.
What to do?

I had difficult understanding why we need to specify the assigned Integration Server when we create Business System. What is the reason for this? What is the mechanism underbeneath this?
It is easy to understand that when creating BS, you need to specify TS name, product and SWCV. But why integration server?
Will you please explain to what your understanding it regarding this topic?

This is because the same SLD could be used to connect to more than one Integration Server. This is a typical requirement wherein the system landscape has Dev, Quality & Production systems and all the XI servers uses same SLD. At that time it would be easy to specify which Business system will refer the Integration Server of which XI system.
