Integration Services Console cannot start

Windows XP Professional SP2
Installed the following;
- Hyperion Shared Services Release 9.3.1
- Hyperion Essbase - System 9 Release 9.3.1 Server
- Hyperion Essbase - System 9 Release 9.3.1 Client
- Essbase Administration Services Release 9.3.1
- Essbase Integration Services Release 9.3.1
When I tried to start Programs > Essbase > Integration Services > Integration Services Console, olapbldr crashes.
Anyone seen similar problems?

Installing Reporting & Analysis software changes the value of the system variable ARBORPATH, perhaps that's causing EIS to hiccup. If you still have Reporting installed just make sure your ARBORPATH on your server & clients is:
C:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices
(or whatever the path is to where you have AnalyticServices installed). Remove the extraneous entry that Reporting creates! It is not needed unless you have it installed on a box that has no Essbase installed, and only if you plan to use Essbase as a reporting data source. It causes issues with the Excel add-in for sure and I suspect it may be messing with your EIS.
Let us know if that helps. I assume this is 9.3.1?

I've installed successfully Essabase integration services in standalone mode,
The EAS works correcty,
now every time I try to log into the Essabase integration services console the OLAP METADATA CATALOG combobox is empty and I got an error

Even iam getting the same error when loggin into the EIS console. before getting into the console i started the EI Server.
when entering the EIS console this above error is thrown, i am new to the EIS, and OLAP and meta ouline configuration, some DSN creation little confused with the configuration.
i have ORacle 9i as the DB.

Integration Service will not start

When I try to start the SAP Business One Integration Service will not start.
Windows says it could not start the service... see the System Event log...if this is a non-Windows service, contact the service vendor.
This is what the System Event error is:
The SAP Business One Integration Service service terminated with service-specific error 0 (0x0).
System details:
2003 Server Standard 32bit
Duo Core processor
4gb memory
SqL 2005
SAP 8.8 PL15

I have exactly the same error. I have set the log level to INFO and the log shows following messages when trying to start the service:

Windows Server 2008 64bit
SAP 8.8 PL15 Server and Client
SAP B1iSN 8.8 PL03 -> 64bit
Installation procedure of B1iSN was run as administrator (after I removed old components of integration component).
I have also tried to install it in different folders (c:program files and c:sap)
Java JDK 1.5.0_22 is installed both for 32 and 64 bit. (Folders in progam files (x86) and program files)
And I have tried to start tomcat6w manually from bin and bin_64 folder with administrator rights, everytime the same log entries are created.
Can someone give me a hint where and for what I should look for?

Hive_1074 the integration service failed to start hive session

i am using Informatica 9.6.1 BIG Data Edition developer tool.I am trying load data from hive to hive database table, I am able to import and view data from hive database, but when mapping run it got failed. Below error message captured at mapping log. Hi all, i am new for informatica Big data edition(BDE). I am trying to load data into hive table, the mapping is running long time in informatica Developer tool. i am not able to understand why it is running long time.administrator service log shows error message as "hive_1074 the integration service failed to start hive session", Please look attached error message screenshot.Before this error message i got below error so i configured inormatica home directory at data integration service.[HIVE_1108] The Informatica home directory property [Informatica Home directory] for the Hadoop node is not configured.Configure the property for the Integration Service. Then i created the DSN name in Oracle Installed Machine.
I mentioned that DSN name in Integration Services Console [Essbase Installed Machine], after doing this i get following Error.

Did u configure EIS to Essbase server? and did u see essbase server Services is running ?
Once u confirm above steps
Try to Check the Network Connectivity between the Server and Client Machines by using the commands:
* telnet
* ping
Using ping:
On Client Machine, open a Windows command prompt.
1. Type the Command:
C:\>ping <Server_Machine_IP Address>
2. Press "Enter" key which should return Ping Statistics with all Packets Sent. This confirms if there is Network Connectivity.
Using telnet:
On Client Machine, open a Windows command prompt.
1. Type the Command:
C:\>telnet <Server_Machine_IP Address>
2. Press "Enter" key which should return either an error or an open telnet session with the requested server. This confirms if there is Network Connectivity.
try checking these ..Hope this helps to show ur connectivity between ur client and server

EPM 11.1.2 hyperion integration services is not started

Hi People,
I have an issue in my EPM 11.1.2, sometimes the service "Hyperion Integration Services" not start up.
I dont know if I need this service running... all others services are running sucessfully.
Does anyone know why would I need that service running ?

Have you met the prereqs:
When creating a Microsoft SQL Server database for use as a repository, ensure that you set these options:
Set READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT = ON
Set ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION = ON

Chinese Character Problem in Essbase Integration Service & Oracle9i

I installed oracle9i on windows2000,which character set is SIMPLIFIED CHINESE_CHINA.zhs16cgb231280. And I installed Essbase Integration Service 6.5.4 on HP-UNIX server. I designed an OLAP Model in Integration Services Console and I defined some dimensions name using chinese characters. When I saved the model, the chinese characters I inputed is saved as some question marks(?) in the tables in oracle 9i. After I loaded the dimension data which include the chinese charaters, the dimension data which is chinese characters also displayed question marks in the EIS console. I have added the variable NLS_LANG="SIMPLIFIED CHINESE_CHINA.zhs16cgb231280" in the .profile, but it did not work either. How can I solve this problem? Can I do any configuration on EIS files to solve this problem? Would you please help me? Thank you very much!

Hyperion analytic integration services

How to add formulas on members of metaoutline in hyperion analytic integration services console? It is throwing up error like "members only with dynamic hierarchy can be added with formulas".How to give a member as dynamic hierarchy in integration services ?
Pls help me out with some formula-- as the client needs to have the avg of the members of profitcenter dimension in its parent instead of the consolidated sum.Eg: i have a member velocity1 in measure dim and in profitcenter dim,asia underwhich i have india ,china ,pak etc. so teh client wants the velocity1 value for asia to be the avg of india,china and pak instead of sum.

By default, only the accounts dimenion can have formulas, If you want formulas on other dimensions they have to be set as dynamic. As the last poster said, right click on the dimension go to properties and on the member info tab set it to dynamic. A couple words of warning. Dynamic hierarichies are not stored in aggregations so they can cause retievals to be slower. Also, you may have to use solve order on members with formulas to get the formula to work correctly

Cannot start iPS3.0SP4

I have just install iPS3.0SP4 on Solaris 8, on this machine i aslo installed Checkpoint firewall for testing.
After i install iPS, i start "ipsserver start". I got the following error, i think it related to library from firewall, but i don't know why because i haven't setting those parameter on installation:

Cannot Start Devi

hello, i am having an issue with my Audigy 2 card. i have installed cards many times before but for some reason this one is giving me this error. i previously had an onboard sound card, which i disabled in BIOS before installing the new card. i read the post pertaining to the pci slot problem in this forum, i have sort of the same problems, except thtat there is no unknown pci slot, just that there is the yellow "?" on my sound card processor inside of device manager, the creative game port is working fine, just the processor portion has the "?".
when i go to device properties on the processor it says the device cannot be started. i then updated all of the drivers, to the latest version possible. and ended up with the same problem. i then uninstalled the drivers and changed PCI slots from 2 to 3, still have the same problem. After that i figured i had a bad card, which has been mentioned in other topics, so i got a new card and sure enough it still has the same problem.
im out of options, my tech's dont know what to do, they said it might be an IRQ problem, is that a Possibility?
if anyone can help me with my situation please reply, or if u have any comments please share

Cannot start widget - Ensure that SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One Event Sender Service have been started

Dear Experts .
I'm trying to enable widget for my company db but getting the following error :
Ensure that SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One Event Sender Service have been started; then wait 1 minute and try again
I can connect to the B1iF locally and remotely .
I have the db configured in the SLD and connects successfully .
I have the event sender service and proxy started and configured for the company db.
I can access the Dashboard web portal and login with database sap credentials (but I see nothing there)
I've checked that there are no duplicate entries in the SSLD table for SBO common (note : 1619422)
I've also tried to re-activate the xelcious from the B1iF->control.
My Setup :
I'm runing SBO server, B1iF installed locally and B1iSN installed on a 3rd party server.
I'm using B1iF as even forwarder for B1iSN.
I know this has been discussed many times through out the forum and I've tried most of the stuff other than clean install.
I would appreciate any input before removing B1iF completely and re-installing.

Cannot start OEM console & agent service

I have 8i database, client & OEM installled on the same laptob (OS W2k). Machine is not connected to any network.
I have created the OEM repository.
I can start OMS service.
But the agent service fail to start.
Microsof Mgt console error msg: could not start Oracle Agent service on Local Computer. Error3221356559
Is it true the machine need a static IP address ?
Any advice, deeply appreciated.

I had an agent service problem which after a lot of trouble resorted to a reinstall of OEM. It created the last 2 service errors being teh OEM and apache. I used a registry cleaner from
www.iomation.com. After running this utility I rebooted and the agent service worked again. The apache service was fixed by starting it in the console and reading the error to find that multiple entries were being made to the http.conf when reinstalling. The OEM service still doesn't work. I am assuming it is a problem with a configuration file which I am working on now.
Hope some of this helps, I know what a pain these problems are. Darrel, I dont know if its me, but that link doesnt work. Its a water/landscaping site.

Transport agent service does not start. Cannot load project in dev station.

I am facing a strange problem in my Mobile QA development station. This machine is a development workstation for an ARS.
When i logged in today, i cannot load my project in the visual studio. It asks me for the user id and password and hangs. It doesnt ask me to select the changelist, but hangs.
Also, i noticed that the transport agent isnt working as well. the service just says "Starting" and does nothing for a ling time and fails when i manually start.
Until last time i loaded my project, everything was fine. I do ConnTrans everyday.

You'd first need to check if login from Upgrade Console to your ars_db is possible.
If you're facing issues logging into the ars_db, please stop the SAP MAR Central Service(which would be present most likely on your MAR machine), wait for about 20 seconds and then start the service again. Then try logging into MAS.
If MAS doesn't hang while loading your project and you're able to proceed to selecting the changelist, then you can fix your transport related issue as follows -
1. Stop the Transport service from the Service Console(services.msc).
2. Login to TransportInstaller.exe and uninstall the previous Transport Service.
3. Browse to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\MSA\Workbench\Server\TAgent in the registry and delete all the keys under the key 'TAgent'.
4. Install a new Transport Service using TransportInstaller.exe
5. Start the new Transport service from the Service Console.

Cannot start SAP B1 DI Proxy Service

Hi,
After i restart my machine, my SAP B1 DI Proxy Service cannot start.
Even i go to services.msc to start this DI Proxy Service manually, a message appear as per below :
" The SAP Business One DI Proxy Service service on local Computer started and then stopped.
Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"
Please advice how to start this DI Proxy Service ?

You do not have to re-install everything. It's enough to run the integration package from your installation media and it will perform an repair.
You might need to re-activate the mobile package if you are using that one after the repair is finished.

I have found some information about this, it relates with HResults.DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTNOEOR Field. I would like to know why this happens, and how to fix it. Also I can run CDC Source in another
similar environment, but cannot run on Cloud environment.

But why is '0x0000006A000002620003' and '0x0000008A0000008B0001' invalid?
