As Michael pointed out, configuring two syslog destinations on your switch is possible, and allows the switch to send to both CiscoWorks and CS-MARS simultaneously. This affords the safety that should one system be down, the other system will continue to receive syslog events from the switches. Should you not wish to configure two logging destinations on your switch, you could configure your switches to send their syslogs to CS-MARS and configure CS-MARS to relay the received syslog messages to CiscoWorks. I am new to adobe flex development. i am following a tutorial prepared by
Mr. Karthikeyan Venkatesan (Infosys Technologies Limited) Integration of Adobe Flex with SAP Web Dynpro ABAP-for ABAPers
He used flex 3 to develop the flex application. i am using flex 4 downloaded from adobe(At a time Build release I used low version only 3.5). I followed all the steps. At a time of Run the data was not came.
How to fetch the data?

Facing problem in integrating my custom jsp with the workflow engine

Hi,
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 for BPM 11g implementation on my Application.I have Weblogic Server 10.3 Installed and configured the domain. Also the server is up and running.
I am trying to create workflow and wants to integrate it with my custom jsp but i am facing problem in integrating my custom jsp with the workflow engine.Can you please answer the following questions:
1)how to link BPM human task with my custom jsp (Requester jsp).
2)how my custom jsp data(Requester data) will be stored in workflow engine and how the same data will be visible to the next custom jsp(Reviewer jsp).
This is urgent .Any early reply will be great help.

you forgot to add the usage dependency in the DC metadata section in your DC, you have to add the XSS~utils and fpm as a used DC's as part of your DC, try to add those, if you already done that, so check where missed the adding of used webdynpro components in any of the VAC's or FC's,

Confused about wheather to use session or some other technology

i have two jsp pages one is index.jsp and other one is display.jsp,from index.jsp i am passing a string value and collecting it in display.jsp ,after collecting it i am making use of that value in a sql query to display the result from the data base,and i am getting one line (row) of display ,when i repeat the process again that row is over written which i do not want , what i want is as long as i keep sending strings from index.jsp tp disply.jsp the number of rows should be added (as a display in display.jsp)
and i wanted to do that in jsp environment only as i am not aware of struts and some other technology.some sample code of display.jsp is as follows

I would add the String you get from the DB to an ArrayList, and store that ArrayList in the session. Then, at time of display, just iterate over the List. I would also look into putting the SQL into a JavaBean that does the work. Take as much of that code out of the JSP as possible.

May be this question has been asked thousand times. how do I use my mid 2011 iMac ( with thunderbolt) as external monitor for laptop/Xbox or other device with hdmi as output. if apple hasn't removed that feature and has just moved that functinoality to thunderbolt then how can I use it. currently there is no laptop available with thunderbolt output. no 3rd party converter available. whats the use of having feature on latest functionality if we cant use it. I wish they would have made one port has mini-dvi and other thunderbolt for backward compatibility untill some vendor comes up with converter.

Name one computer model/vendor which has thunderbolt as output for display + audio. this is so stupid to move to new technology without availbility of its compatible devices.

Integrating SuccessFactors PMS solution With SAP HCM without saving any employee master data in SF

We’re implementing SuccessFactors’s Performance Management Solution only at one of the client location in Saudi Arabia and trying to integrate with the On-Premise SAP HCM and Push the employee data to SF.
However, due to security concerns customer doesn’t want to store any data on SucessFactors cloud solution to run the PMS cycle.
During the purchase of license for SuccessFactors SAP has demonstrated client that, in SF a unique Id will be created for each employee, which will not be the actual UserID(PERNR)from SAP, and with this unique ID actual employee data will be tagged/linked in SF which will fetch the data from SAP On-Premise system to run the PMS cycle. Once the user logins in SF, based on the unique ID data will fetch from SAP On-Premise system to SF on a real time basis and when the user logged out from the SF system, data should be cleared/deleted and nothing will be saved or stored in SF with respect to employee Master Data.
I understand SAP has provided the standard add-on for the Employee Data Scenario between SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, which could have been leveraged here for integration using PI, however with the above limitation this solution is absolutely out of scope.

1)Portal is an integrated component of 9iAS. You need to download all of 9iAS and select the minimal install option.
2)We haven't tested this configuration, but as long as you set up apache appropriately to use different ports than the existing software it should work.
3)Portal requires 8.1.6.2 Enterprise edition or 8.1.7 Standard edition. Personal Edition will not work.

Integration of Oracle Apex with EBS R12.1.1

Dear All,
We are in process of integrating Oracle Apex 4.0.2 with EBS R12.1.1 with the help of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/apex-ebs-wp-cabot-consulting-169064.pdf.
After doing all the steps, the moment when we navigate from EBS application to Apex application by clicking on the EBS menu link it ends up with below error
"404 Not Found
Resource /OA_HTML/null/pls/apex/f not found on this server"
After some analysis i found the below code in "LaunchApex.jsp" for getting the profile value (supposed to be 'http://myserver:port') from custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" and prefixing to "/apex/f?p=applicationid:page::APPS:::" is not happening properly
String l_launcher = ctx.getProfileStore().getProfile("APEX_HTTP_SERVER");
l_launcher = l_launcher + "/apex/f?p=" + p_application + ":" + p_page;
l_launcher = l_launcher + "::APPS:::" + p_item_names + ":" + p_item_values;
as we found that the custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" not exist in EBS system. But it works without any page error if we hard code the entire apex application URL in l_launcher variable, but this takes us to EBS login page instead of Apex application page.
So i feel we can't bypass using profile value from "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" as it has some relation with EBS application session.
So could anyone please help me how we could create custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" or any other options to make the seamless integration of Oracle apex with EBS works without any second login page

Hi,
Create a profile under Application Developer Responsibility as follow:
Name OAE_LAUNCHER
Application <whatever>
User Profile Name Oracle Application Express Launcher
Description Oracle Application Express Launcher
2. Set above profile value under System Administrator Responsibility -> Profile -> System, and search for the ‘OAE_LAUNCHER’.
Set the value at Site Level as:
http://<hostname>:<Apex port>/pls/apex
Then instead of hardcoding the URL in the jsp, just give the profile name OAE_LAUNCHER that you have just created in the jsp.

as I found out, the most appropriate technologies applications built with Process Composer are WebDynpro for Java and enterprise service invocation. I have to queations regarding other technologies:
1. Is it possible to use other UI technologies like WebDynpro for ABAP, Visual Composer or Adobe Forms?
2. Is it possible to make direct function calls like RFCs instead of indirect enterprise service calls?

No, with current version (7.1.1) only Adobe Forms (online scenario) from above are supported. Some Others will be supported in 7.2
2. Is it possible to make direct function calls like RFCs instead of indirect enterprise service calls?
No, not possible to make direct RFC calls. You need to use Services for this.

I am integrating Oracle Apps R12 with the third party Label Printing Software(Bartender).
For generating the Label, I have to create the XML file in Oracle Apps and with the help of Oracle WMS i have to transfer the XML file to the TCP/IP Port.
Third Party Label Printing Software will pick the file from the TCP/IP Port.
I am not able to find the way to send the XML file generated by the concurrent program to the TCP/IP Port using Oracle WMS.

Hi,
I assume, i have already setup profile 'WMS: Label Print Mode' to Synchronous - TCP/IP.
Basically, you dont have to create any concurrent program for XML creation, Oracle will do it for you 'out of box'.
Also set 'WMS: Synchronous TCP/IP label request delay' to 100, this is a required step, though none of the documentation talks about it.
if you think that all the requests are not handled correctly, then you will need to increase this delay further.
Lastly, verify that the printer is setup correctly in Oracle (Place where you specify IP Address and port)

Hi,
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <itab> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
I want to validate mara-matnr with <itab>. The values in <itab> is coming at runtime, so i want to validate first field values in <itab> for all the records with mara-matnr.
The values which are coming at runtime in <itab> is matnr, bukrs, lgort. I want to validate only matnr with mara-matnr.
I don't know about field-symbols validations?
