Just download the Intel Video driver from Lenovo and resinatall. It won't bother again.

Windows 7 Control Panel Display and Intel Graphics Media Control Panel Constantly

I have a Nvidia NVS 5200 M running with Intel 4000 and Windows 7 on a Lenovo T430S.
Whenever I load the Control Panel -> Display settings, I can see options just fine, but I click on any of the drop down menus and they appear for a second, then immediately disappear (fast enough that I can't change settings).
There's a similar problem when I look in the Intel Graphics Media Control Panel. It constantly appears to be "loading" - the mouse icon turns into a little blue circle off an on, continuously. Similar thing with the settings, too - they appear and let me change them, but immediately return to the original setting. I can change them if I act SUPER quickly to make the change then click Apply. But 99/100 I'm not fast enough.
All drivers are up to date. I have no idea what to do (reinstall or uninstall this Intel Graphics control panel? How? Or somehow change a setting on my graphics card).
Please help!

Try uninstalling both drivers, then reinstalling them. Sometimes a clean driver update works better.

I dont have the Intel Graphics media 3600 series driver, I only have 2600, how do i find the update?

I finally have the Windows 10 icon, but theres one little annoying catch, it says I dont have the Intel Graphics Media Accelorater 3600 series. I have Intel 2600 on my acer Aspire one netbook. It says my display won't work. I tired downloading the driver from Intel website but it says this: The driver being installed is not being validated for this computer, please obtain the appropriate driver from the manufacturer. Does anyone have a link and driver that works? I'm here on the Acer's website, and I'm not finding what I need. How can something so small become such a big hassel? Intel drivers can't install until you uninstall Acer's Intel VGA drivers. To check drivers support:http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support keep in mind that only this models will have Acer driver support for windows 10:http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/windows10-eligible-models

However, after registering for my copy of it and being told everything is fine and my pc will run windows 10, it now appears I cannot. Which models? UMA refers to shared memory, and is not the actual chipset. So this is simply a case where the video card isn't listed (while in the 3150 model, it is).

does anyone know how to grey out the options to stop local users changing graphics options from Intel media graphics for Mobile?
As well if anyone know what is different in BIOS updates, any option to cancel booting devices (not only change order)

Sorry but something like this is not known to me. You can disable a lot of different functions but display properties and settings are always available.
BTW: I do not see some problem there is someone change resolution or whatever if the resolution is high and symbols to small.
As far as I know it is not possible to cancel booting devices.

Media Controls for the Qosmio x505 q870

Hi there,
I recently purchased the Qosmio X505 q870 machine, and it came with the side media center control panel. Everytime one of those buttons is pushed, a loud beep is produced, and even muting the speakers still causes this beep. I am wondering if there is anyway to remove this beep from the machine, and still keep the functionality of the media control panel.

Lenovo V460 - onboard Intel Graphics

Good Day,
I have a Lenovo V460 with the following specs:
Intel Core i5 - M450 (http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=49022)
4 Gb Mem
+- 300Gb HDD
Onboard "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator" (NO switch to NVIDIA here)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
The graphics card driver is the latest @ version 8.15.10.2008 (from Lenovo site).
So, my issue is the graphics performance:
When I right-click My Computer -> Properties -> System -> Rating = 2.2 (For 3D Business and gaming graphics performance)...
I can`t even play Age of Empires III on this machince.
Is there a way to update the graphics drivers or something? According to the Intel site the performance should be a lot better...
Any input would be appreciated!

Screen goes to neon colors in Intel HD Graphics control panel

This computer comes with an Nvidea 850 GTX + 4gb card
Whenever I try to change brightness settings in the HD Graphics control panel, my entire screen become illegibly pixelated and turns to neon colors. I can't read or see anything exept pixels and neon colors when this happens. This happens when I move the slider, I don't even need to apply the settings for it to happen.
The only way to get back to a normal display is to close my screen and open it back up again.
How can I fix this? I just got this computer after sending another one back for a hardware issue?

Intel Control Panel and Nvidia

Hi, I will order a new screen for my lenovo y50-70 tomorrow! right now i added about 40 saturation in the intel hd control panel to make the TN screen look a bit better (BY FAR NOT GOOD).the TN panel is terrible. but i was wondering if the changes that i make in the intel hd control panel will affect my games which run on the nvidia card? Despite having the File Associations in both Windows Control Panel and Firefox Options set to Windows Media Player for *.mwv files Firefox tries to open them with Foxit pdf Reader, which bombs out - what now?

Making this entry from my Linux computer which handles the situation correctly.The real situation involves only a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP.

I used this link for tiff http://www.nrl.navy.mil/content.php?P=IMAGES
QT was opening the tiff files. When going into the QT control panel Browser>Mime settings>Images-Still image files I was able to uncheck tiff, which held. I was also able to uncheck all the file types under File Types tab(Images-Still image files) in the QT control panel. However the preference would not hold. Went into Start>Set Program Access and Defaults that also was of no help.
The only way I was able to get QT to release the tiff's from the website I posted was to go into the Folder Options control panel for File Types and change the tif & tiff from QT picture viewer to windows picture and fax viewer.
So not sure why the QT control panel will not respond, there are other file types in the Folder options control panel on this computer other than tiff's that are still associated to QT, but didn't try changing them, perhaps that needs to be done?

*FIXED* No sound and 'No Audio Device' in Control Panel. *FIX

I?m having a problem with my sound. Basically all I get is a system sound, which means no sounds from itunes but the error prompt sounds still play. I?m tempted to say that this is a detection issue because of several things:
-First, when looking in the ?sounds and audio devices? in the control panel I get grayed out selections and a ?no audio device?.
-Secondly, when running the directX diagnostic tool (typing ?dxdiag? in the ?run? window) I get several troubling indications. First under device I have no manufacturer or product ID. Second under drivers I have (copied from dxdiag text file):

I have seen another similar post that seemed to have the same problem, but they didn?t provide much information and the fix was to pull out the audio card, run start up, turn it off, and then put it back in and run start up. I found that once you reinstall your sound card you need to make sure you hook everything back up correctly.
basically all you need to do is run a start up with your sound card out ofyou computer and then re-run start up with the card back in.

T520 with Optimus - Can't install Intel Graphics Driver in XP

Hello,
I have T520 with Optimus FHD screen.
I have XP installed in my Ultrabay HDD.
I understand that XP doesn't support Optimus and that I must go to BIOS and choose either Discrete or Integrated.
OPTION 1 (Discrete Only) Which someone what works:
- So, when I have Discrete enabled in BIOS - and installed Nvidia Drivers in XP - everything works fine, expcept on 90% initial boot ups after going from Win 7 to XP (F12 Options) - I assume the NVIDIA driver doesn't get initially recognised and the XP boots up in non native resolution.
- It's only after I restart again and use (F12 again) to pick Ultrabay with XP, the Nvidia gets properly loaded. But this time, there is a prolong delay (60 to 90 seconds) of black screen after the WIndows XP Welcome screen before the desktop appears.
OPTION 2 (Intgrated Display Only) - Of couse, this after uninstalling NVIDIA Graphic Driver in XP
- In BIOS, Integrated Graphic in choosen.
- XP boots up in basic resolution.
- I download (From Lenovo T520 Driver Page) - Intel Integrated Driver for Win XP 32.
- When I try to install it, it says "The computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"
- BTW, I do have all the WIndows Updates including NET 3.0 and higher
- So then, I try to forcibly installed through Device Manager and Having DISK - but I get Error message.
- But somehow, it works after.
One guess I have and that confuses me is the Otimus Graphic Card - where maybe it can only work with either Optimus Drivers in Windows 7 or Nvidia Drivers in Windows XP. And that the Integrated Intel HD Graphic Drivers in for XP on Lenovo website are only meant for T520 with Intel Graphics ??!!
Or can optimus be used with intergrated intel drivers only in the XP?
If anyone can shed a small light, I would be grateful.

Glad to know everything is working for you.
You shouldn't need the discrete to watch flash videos, the Intel integrated should be able to handle that on its own.
The nVidia card shouldn't be running at all when the machine is in integrated . In fact it doesn't even run in Optimus except when it is actively being used. nVidia proved this when it was first demoing the technology. nVidia removed the nVidia chip from the motherboard of an active system that was running in Optimus using only the integrated graphics, and the computer kept running without issue and the power consumption was the same with and without the chip on the board.
If you really wanted FireFox to always run with the nVidia card (again, I don't know why you would want this) you can change the settings in the nVidia control panel to force FireFox to run with discrete.
