    Driverversion is: 8.0.0.1008

Can anybody help me? Where do I find the actual driver?
    Thanks in advance.

The Intel Chipset driver handles USB drivers. You can download it from the Toshiba Support/Drivers Website.
But if you installed a strange USB Device recently (perhaps a USB keyboard/mouse/HDD), its driver may be conflicting. So you would need to remove that driver from Control Panel -> Program Features first, then reinstall the Intel Chipset Driver.

This component is supported by Microsoft inbox INF USBPORT.INF on Windows7, there should be no need for "drivers" for this [very old generation ICH5] component?
Only old OS like WinXP etc would need to have non-inbox INF installed e.g. 82801EB USB Universal Host Controller - 24D2

I didn't find any solution after searching on Google, but it seems there are a few other people experiencing the same problem as me. I haven't actively tried anything yet.
I don't have much experience when it gets to this kind of things, so I hope there are some of you who can help me.
    Thank you!

In case someone else has the same problem, there's actually a package in the AUR that fixes the problem : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ricoh-e823-fix/
Install it and enables it with systemd and it should work correctly!

  • No IEEE 1394 Host Controller found.

While attempting to update my iPod..actually, just while saying "Do Not Disconnect" my iTunes has been shutting down.
I ran diagnostics on my iPod and the subject showed up -- "No IEEE 1394 Host Controller found." Any idea what this could mean?

I think I am having the same problem, my iTunes is hanging and not responding. I am not very technically minding, and have now been trying to update my Ipod, and my husbands Ipod, for 3 days. In the same time I have, I think, downloaded Ipod version 7.0.1. I therefore do not know if it is my husbands Ipod which is at fault, or the new software. I ran the diagnostics tool and got the following outcome, which leads me to believe that there is a problem with the host controller, however.. i dont appear to be able to do "anything" with iTunes without it hanging, e.g., i cant burn a backup of the library. I have restarted, restored, downloaded the latest version of itunes, all to no avail. Is there an "idiots" guide to this somewhere? I am totally lost and cognitively challenged. • Usb pci1033,e0 Enhanced Host Controller G5 PowerPC 1.8GHz

    Hi every one
need help to sort this silly problem out
We have a PowerPC G5 1.8 duel fitted with 8GB ram - everything works great until I ftted this USB PCI card
We have just fitted a PCI card into it:
usb pci1033,e0 Enhanced Host Controller (into slot 2)
When I look at mac info it say:
    Card                                                       Type
    Driver Intalled
pci1033,e0                                              USB Enhanced Host Controller               YES
but under neath type it says:
    Card                                                       Type
    Driver Intalled
    usb                                                          usb                                                            No
    usb                                                          usb                                                            No
Now since this PCI card has been fitted - The PowerPC G5 mac will not go to sleep or even shut down.
I have ran the CONSOLE - and cleared the cash prior to asking it to go to sleep and it, when I leave it for 5 munites and move mouse the screen comes back on it says
    PROBLEM:
mac will not go to sleep - will not shut down - just says on all night !!!!
    The Console gives me this
    Anyone know the answer:
    would be very much appricated
    thanks

    Anyone know the answer:
    Remove the offending PCI card.
If it is a USB 2.0 PCI controller make sure it has the NEC chipset.
ALI or VIA chipset cards will always cause problems.
NEC chipsets are natively supported in 10.4.3 and onward.
Do NOT install third party USB drivers. Most all cause incompatibilities.
Read more about USB 2.0 PCI cards in PPC Macs:
    B8B574BC-BB45-4B3E-9D9B-F97EBB3230BC.html
If it is a USB 3.0 PCI card, forget it. There is no support in PPC Macs.

  • Virtu Universal and Intel Extensible host controller

    Hello guys, two questions
    1) In the drivers cd I can't find the Virtu Universal MVP installation program, just the driver.
    2) Before upgrading to Win8 , the system forced me to uninstall Intel Extensible USB 3.0 host controller, because it was not compatible. Now at the Intel site there isn't the Win8 compatible download.
My question is, what's the function of this controller ?

Just download the mvp drivers either from www.lucidlogix.com or msi.

Is this related to the fact that ClickBIOS don't work ?

  • Intel(R) USB 3.0 Host Controller Switch Driver

    Hello All,
As part of our software install we are installing the Intel(R) USB 3.0 Host Controller Switch Driver (iusb3hcs.sys) on machines that have Win 7 Embedded (x64). When this driver is installed I have noticed that the USB controller behaves differently:
When shutting down (or rebooting), the controller does not completely lose power. Therefore, if I reboot or shutdown from Win7, and immediately boot to a WinPe usb stick, the driver in winpe seems to have an issue loading and the stick is not recognized.
To fix the problem I can simply unplug the machine (allowing for the controller to lose power) and then booting into WinPe the stick is recognized.
Wondering if anyone knows what OS setting or change I can make in the inf to tell the driver to make the USB Controller power down when doing a shutdown. Any help appreciated

  • Intel usb 3,0 extensible host controller driver not working

    I have a hp envy sleekbook 6 1100se.
Im facing a problem with the driver of usb 3.0 extensible host controller 0100 microsoft. It says that the device cannot start. gives a CODE 10 error.  Im using windows 8. i've tried updating it and uninstalling and reinstalling it but it doesnt help. I've restored the laptop to its factory settings and then for like 10 minutes the usb 3 ports worked fine and so did the driver. but i restarted my pc and again it gave me error code 10. Its also got something to do with the date of the computer. in the events of the driver it said device started in the date 8/28/2012. but after i changed the date it stopped working. but now this fix doesnt work when the second time i reset my computer.
i also know its not a hardware fault because when i plug in my usb in the usb 3 port, the device turns on its light which means that its working. put the computer does not open it or detect the usb drive.
    Help please. !

  • Can't Install Enhanced USB Host Controller

I keep getting these popups each time that I load windows xp that its found some new hardware for the USB 2. The hardware is the Universal Serial Bus Controller. However it does mention Intel 82801EB USB 2 Enhanced Host Controller -24DD. I let it search for the needed drivers but it never finds them or there is something else wrong. I keep getting "An error occurred during installation of the device. The data is invalid". Whatever in the hell that means!!! Any clues? I'm running the 875P Neo board.

Well the drivers for the other USB drivers were automatically installed when I installed Windows XP. The USB 2 drivers however are not installed for the hardware even though the hardware is recognized. I have the SP1 update installed. Here is what happens: when I load windows this screen comes up:
    http://www.angelfire.com/space2/tmoum/newhrdwr.JPG
I press next and after a few seconds (takes longer if the MSI CD is in the CD-rom) and this screen comes up:

I'm not sure where the drivers for the device are located so I just let windows search for them but this doesn't seem to work.

  • USB 3.0 host controller and USB Root Hub xHCI not showing up on Windows 8.1 laptop

Greetings and thank you for taking the time to read the following message and 'maybe' attempt to help me with my current plight...
I have an HP envy m6 laptop running Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. The problem i am facing at current is that i have only 1 out of 4 usb ports working on my Windows 8.1 partition however on my Server 2012 partition, all four ports are working fine. After asking
around i have come to the conclusion that i'm having a driver issue. I compared what was present on the Windows 7 USB controllers (in Device Manager) to what was present on the Windows 8.1 controllers and i found that my Intel(R) USB 3.0 extensible host controller
    - 0100 (Microsoft) and my USB Root Hub (xHCI) was missing on my Windows 8.1 partition.
Now for some background....the problem first occurred when i was trying to solve an external hard drive issue in which none of my external hard drives where showing up when i plugged them into my usb ports, i came across an online solution telling me to
uninstall all my USB drivers in device manager, restart the laptop and let the computer re install the drivers automatically, the result was that i only had 1 out of 4 ports working. Could someone please point me in the right direction in order to fix this
    problem?

Windows 8 has native USB 3.0 drivers which explains why you are not seeing an option to roll back. I do not believe you can make the Windows 7 driver work. Have you tried uninstalling in the device manager all usb items and then rebooting to let the drivers reload? Do that with the computer off the dock and then plug it into the dock. As a general rule you should not do driver updates to a laptop through a docking station.

  • How to restore, reinstall to WIN 7 vers. USB 3.0 Host Controller after driver upgrade to Win 8

After an undate for the Intell USB 3.0 Host Controller (extensible) as a WIN 8 driver update my DynaDock does not work properly for any devices using the USB ports on the dock and connected to any USB port on the HP Envy 4-1043 laptop. Reading everywhere I can find anything it seems that there is a problem with the Microsoft or Intel driver for the USB 3.0 Host such that the USBs work find when things are plugged directly into them. BUT, when the dynadock is pluuged in and any of its 6 USB ports are used the devices either cannot be found or behavior extremely sluggishly.
This Dynadock has worked well with my last 4 HP computers and worked fine under WIn 7 and 8 on this Envy until the last update of the driver.
I do not know how to re-install the old driver (Hps' WIN7 version sp56724. Can someone please give me the steps or refer me to a source to do this properly?
There is no roll back option in the device manager for this driver. It is grayed out.
I have take pride in not experimenting with 'brihg tiddeas' of how to fix things on this machine. Not that 99% of my gut plus resources from help pages and Miscrosoft did not work before. I do not have a backup computer anymore and I cannot afford the lost of time and productive in making a mess and then spending days trying to undo and fix something that I know others have done well.

    Hi,
The first suggestion I'd make is to try downloading and reinstalling the switchable graphics driver on the following link as it lists a fix for WIDI.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-114949-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
When the reinstallation has com[pleted, restart the notebook.
If you find this has not corrected the issue, try the download available from Intel on the link below.

The USB connection used for connecting to a printer failed. Trying to fix it I removed the Standard USB Host Controller Port_#0001.Hub_#0009 and as a result the device is now marked as "unknown device" with status= error#43.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I have followed the following steps (from Microsoft support forum) but it didn't solve the problem:
    Lets reinstall the USB Controllers.
First, please disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:
    1. Click "Start" button, type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotation marks) in the “Search” bar and press "Enter". Click “Continue” if necessary.
    2. In Device Manager, double click to expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers", right click on the Host Controller, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
    3. Repeat the step 2 to uninstall all items under "Universal Serial Bus controllers".
Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will reinstall all USB controllers automatically.
All usb driver items restored correctly with the exception of one line that still shows "unknown device", with the following details:
    Standard USB Host Controller
    Port_#0001.Hub_#0009
    Error 43
    What else can I do?
