Intensive course Adobe CS5 DreamWeaver & Flash

I'm a selfmade semipro in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign commanding these tools really well (I mean, I can always do what I want to, and if some piece of knowledge is missing, the help manual is enough). I've worked with DreamWeaver and Flash for fun but never really got it. I have no experience in scripting, though...
i'm looking for a intensive course in Adobe DreamWeaver & Flash.it should give me the skills to really start working, i.e. creating Flash animations, interactivity, and build websites.
Language: English or German
Place: Europe, USA, I'd prefer EU for travelling reasons
Duration: up to one week at a stretch
Any ideas?

Adobe CS5.5 - Flash Pro Fonts

Hi all,
I am enquiring regarding the location that Flash Pro 5.5 picks up its fonts from.
As far as I am aware, the rest of the CS5.5. suite looks to both the Windows\Fonts system folders and the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts\ howevever, Flash only seems to look at the Windows\Fonts folders, and not the common files, even though the is a folder within the common files called C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\FlashFonts 1\. But any fonts put in here are not picked up by Flash.
I ask this because installing 5000+ fonts to the Windows\fonts location has a detrimental effect on overall performance of the machine, thus installing them to another location (C:\Program Files\Common Files...\) works well.
Does anyone know of a file location where Flash will pick up fonts from? or a registry entry or anything that determines where Flash looks for fonts?

Thanks for the help Sharad but I don't think this is the problem.
Indeed I have two partitions on my mac air, but the one where OS X Lion is installed (the one with /Applications) is a non-case sensitive one. If I try to install on the case sensitive one, then, the Installation software does not allow me to continue. The /Users/fbnascimento is on the other hand in a case-sensitive device, althought it did not prevented me to install it on OS X 10.6. I have no idea what it might be, but as far as I can tell, it might have something to do with: "Install on Snow Leopard -> Trashing it withouth uninstalling -> Trying to reinstall on Snow Leopard". Maybe there is some uninstalled component I'm not aware of...
I've tried to download a new Flash CS 5.5 from adobe, the same error. If I copy a Flash App from another machine it does not run either.

Adobe Bridge Buttons in Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks?

Hello,
Adobe says that the button to connect to Adobe bridge is in
every CS3 application. I can find it in Photoshop, Illustrator, and
even Contribute, a former Macromedia project, but none of the other
Macromedia projects (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks) have one. Am I
missing it, or is this a glitch?

Go to Edit > Prefs > Enable Version Cue. Once you do
that look in the lower left corner of the flash
application - you should see "Open" with an arrow. Clicking
on it will popup "Reveal in Bridge" button.

One last thing... I have seen a post that states that future versions of CS are 64-bit. That may only apply to some
RAM intensive apps like After Effects and Premiere and the optional 64-bit version of Photoshop.
Also, have you tried running the installer as Administrator? That may solve the issue.

Is Adobe CS5 compatible with CS3 and Dreamweaver 8 files

All,
We have eight users that are using CS3 (Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat 8) plus Dreamweaver Studio 8 on Windows XP Pro 32-bit. Two of these users are moving to Windows 7 64-bit. We don't have it in the budget to upgrade all 8 users. Will Adobe CS5 Premium files (particularly InDesign and Dreamweaver) work with CS3 and Dreamweaver 8 files?

InDesign absolutely NOT! InDesign can only save back one version.
But...CS3 runs just fine on Win7 64 bit.
I'm not sure about what issues you'll have with Dreamweaver.
Please post followups in the InDesign and Dreamweaver forums.

I upgraded iMac to Yosemite, and my Adobe CS5 products (Photoshop, dreamweaver, etc) would not open. A message popped up saying I needed to load Java SE 6. The Apple Tech support person had me select all the Java folders and files in my library and delete the. I then downloaded Java 7. However, nothing happens when I click on the program icon. I went to reinstall the products, but the activation code was not valid (even though I got it off the Adobe site for my products with Adobe). I tried to install just one product (Illustrator) in the trial mode, but still nothing happens. How can I get my Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and other programs to work?

Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium Install Errors and Other Issues

I just installed Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium on my computer and had some errors pop up at the end of installation. I will paste the summary below. I've tried to install Procction Premium a couple of times. I've used the Adobe Cleaner Tool. From what I've researched, the Flash Issue is a a false error since Flash was already installed on the computer. Is the rest of it connected to the Flash issue as well?
Thr programs all seem to work fine except for the issue below.
My other question is that when I am in Windows Explorer and I Right-Click on say a .jpg file and select Open With... I am not able to select Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for that matter. I have Dreamweaver CS4 and that shows up as an option. I have gone through the process of trying to add the Adobe Photoshop .exe file, but it still doesn't work. However, if I open Adobe Bridge, I am able to select Photoshop or Illustrator to open a file. Is this connected to my install or is there something else going on? I did uninstall an ancient version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 that I've had for years, but that was prior to installing Production Premium CS5. Could that have caused an issue? I read that uninstalling an old Photoshop can cause problems like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, your installation errors appear to be the innocuous false errors related to the brain-dead Flash installer. If the programs seem to be working fine, don't worry about it. As far as not being able to open images with Photoshop from Windows Explorer, I recommend taking that question to the Photoshop forum.

Adobe CS5 on MBP?

Hey,
I already got an iMac to do the main work with all the applications of Adobe CS5 Master but want a MBP to get mobile going to custumors for presentations and so on. I should therefore be able not to run the complete Adobe CS Master Suite; just PhotoShop, InDesign, Flash or Dreamweaver will do.
Will the basic MBP (13", 2.4Ghz, 4GB ram) suffice for this basic stuff?

It's not going to be much slower, you can always add more RAM. SSD upgrade would also make a world of difference (especially in app startup time).
Also, remember MacBook Pro 13" is running just 1280x800, which is very limited work space for most CS5 apps.

Reinstall Adobe CS5 Design Premium

I had Adobe CS5 Design Premium on my iMac running now system 10.8.4. Going on travel, I uninstaled InDesign and Photoshop on my iMac to be able to instal it on my MacBook Air running 10.7.5 which is the highest it can handle. Back home, I unistalled InDesign and Photoshop on my MacBook Air to be able to reinstall it on my iMac, but guess what? My iMac does not recognize my installation CD because "You can't open the application "Install.app" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
I am very sorry but I can't afford to switch to an upgrade. I would like very much to be able to continue to use what I bought: it was still working on my iMac under system 10.8.4 so it is only the installation program which causes trouble. Can Adobe help me out of this?

Sorry to say, this doesn't work. I found this page already before asking help. But I tried it again as you mentioned it in your reaction. Any link I try leads finaly to upgrade to CS6 or Creative Cloud and says CS5 is no more for sale. I just want to reinstall CS5, but the install program on my install CD seems to be PowerPC and refuses to work on my iMac with OS 10.8.4. But it works on my MacBook Air with OS 10.7.5. What I also tried:
1.     Installing from my MacBook Air on my iMac via my network: is not accepted.
2.     From my MacBook Air I made a start-up extern disk with OS 10.7.5, then started up my iMac with this disk. The internal DVD reader does not recognize the install-CD. The external optical drive, who accepts the install CD with my MacBook Air system 10.7.5 rejects the install CD with the same extern optical drive connected to my iMac that also is started up with 10.7.5.
3.     Went to my Adobe order hystory. Found back the order of my CS5 but found no button to download it again. Is this because it was shipped in a box to me?
4.     Reinstalled Photoshop on my iMac with Time Machine: works to my surprise and satisfaction, but I think this is by accident. Reinstalled InDesign with Time Machine: after starting up, InDesign tells me: "Configuration error. Please unistall and reinstall the product. If this problem occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 5"
5.     Thinking something in the system is missing, with Time Machine I also brought back in Library > Application Support > Adobe back to the same date as the InDesign reinstallation: same result: error 5.
When I want to unistall as asked, the uninstall program does not sees any InDesign. It sees only Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Illustrator. So also Photoshop is not found, although it is back on my iMac and works perfect, which let me think the reinstallation of Photoshop with Time Machine was by accident. I tried other dates with Time Machine for InDesign but all in vain.
I realy wonder why software developers make life so diffucult for honest users. Why do they hide from direct contact? I want to be able to call someone who helps me out of this. ADOBE !?!

Cannot Install Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection in Win7 x64

I've purchased many adobe products in the past, and i have been generally pleased with them.
However, I downloaded a trial of the CS5.5 Master Collection, and it won't install.
I've followed all of the solutions in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/628980?start=100&tstart=0 , but to no avail.
I've diagnosed the root of the problem, and it's C:\Users\Yunyu\Desktop\MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1\Adobe CS5_5\payloads\Microsoft_VC90_MFCLOC_x86\Microsoft_VC90_MFCLOC_x86.msi won't install.
I get when i try to install, and the registry key trick does not work for me, as there is no registry key.
Win7 Ultimate x64
No antivirus
What should i do? I've contacted adobe but they don't answer.
I really want to try and buy this product.

No programs at startup. no antivirus, no firewall, this is a fresh install with all updates.
The individual CS5 (not 5.5) programs I purchased earlier installed perfectly (photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, flash, fireworks), however, the newer ones fail.
I've tried reinstalling .NET, Windows Installer, sfc /scannow, registry fixes, disable services and startup items, etc... to no avail.
The Adobe LOG analyzer doesn't even say I have a problem!

Adobe CS5 Master Collection System Requirements - A Mistake?

I am a student who purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection a few weeks back.
Before purchasing the product I looked at the system requirements at the link above.
I thought, "Cool! That's not too hectic, I have enough cash to build a computer with those system specs."
So I went and bought Adobe CS5 Master Collection, all amped up and ready to get a computer for it, excited to start learning the program.
Looking at different options around the specs, in Adobe's link above, I started asking questions, and soon I was advised by many users that those specs WOULDN'T do it for Adobe CS5 Master Collection.
Looking at my budget, comparing it to the suggested builds in this Forum, I am now depressed, because the cheapest Budget Build is way out of range of my budget.
I feel let down, because I purchased a program with the trust that Adobe provided those system requirements SO THAT the program can run nicely on those specs.
So my question:
WHY are the system requirements, at the link above, 2GB of RAM (4 or more reccommended) and Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Phenom II, if there are so many warnings on this and other forums that those specs will not be enough? (The Budget Build in this Forum suggests a quad core and 8GB of RAM)
Does this mean that had I bought a computer going on the specs provided in Adobe's link above, say a Core 2 Duo and 4GB of RAM, that I then would NOT have been able to get started nicely, learning and working with Adobe CS5 Master Collection?

Yes, at this stage I do indeed find it VERY confusing as a newbie looking to put together a new PC, within my budget.

The reality is that there are newbies who are just starting out for the first time, having no clue what all Adobe is about and what they can and are going to do with the program.
I think that newbies like me who have to settle for a very low budget PC at first, just to get started, have to content with the AWARENESS that their system will allow only so much performance and nothing more.
It would be nice if there were benchmark results of low budget PC's for beginners working with DV and HD, to help them at least not buy utterly useless systems, but systems that, though not super fast, will perform tasks specified in such a benchmark, with an added note that while using such a low budget PC (for the purpose of at least getting started with some projects as newbies/students), they could read about upgrades and start saving their coins for upgrades.

Based on the Adobe minimum requirements, no way. Even a single application like PR with AVCHD codec material will effectively come to a halt. Multi-tasking DW and PS is doable on such a system.
