Inter-company pricing

Hi all,
I have a cross company sales process and I am setting up 1 pricing procedure to be used for both
1. Sale to the end customer-Customer who orders goods from the ordering company code.
2. Bill the ordering company code- This is Inter-company billing document generated from the supplying company code to the ordering company code.
So my question is when I create the step 1. my intercompnay price IV01 is a statistical conditon, but when I create the step 2. thye IV01 doesnt remain statistical condition.
could anyone explain how does it happen or what influeces this. Thanks to all for ur help!!

Check the pricing procedure.
This condition type might be assigned with routine 22 (inter-company), so this works only for intercompany scenario, where in the code checks t001-bukrs ne t001k-bukrs condition is satisfied.
The condition type  is checked as statistical condition type, but if you check the sub-total field in the pricing procedure, the value is assigned to value B- cost field KOMP-WAVWR. Hence the value is considered during pricing.
If you dont want this to be calculated, then the sub-total field should be assigned to value C-Carry over value to KOMP-GKWRT (statistical value). In this case, it will not be used in pricing calculations.
Also check  the link where SAP documents informs the same (but not in detail) [Working with Intercompany Condition Types|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/dd/5614e7545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm]
Hope this clarifies.

  • Intra-Company & Inter-Company Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
what is the difference between Intra-Company & Inter-Company Stock Transfer Order...with configuration guide...
    thanks
      mohan

    Hai Mohan,
STO is done mainly in two ways
Intra company stock transfer means , stock transfer between two company code.
Inter company stock transfer means , stock is moving in between two plants of same company code.
Configuration steps for Inter company STO:
1)you need to have  two plants assigned  to  two different company codes respectively,
2)one is supplying plant another is recieving plant , material should be extended to both the plants (ie. maintain views for both the plants for the material in MM01  t. code )
3)make sure the ordering plant and supplying plants are assigned to sales org and distri channel combination....in enter prise structure assignments)
    4) go to SPRO-->Material management > Purchasing>Purchase order-->set up Stock Tranfer order,
      >defone shipping data for plants
    >creating checking rule
    >define checking rule
    >assign delivery type and checking rule (with purchase order type NB , delivery type NLCC , checking rule B, (default order type in delivery type NLCC is DL )
    >assign document type, step procedure
    5) create a dummy vendor for ordering company by t. code xk01 and add delivering plant in the add prchasing data tab in xk02 , this vendor is the representation of supplying plant
6)in the sales order type DL , by t. code vov8 , ensure billing type IV inter company billing, and in the billing doc  IV ensure pricing procedure is 'I ' and maintain inter company pricing procedure assigned properly, so that to bill the ordering plant /company by delivering company
    7) create STO by T.code ME21N (create purchase order) with purchase order type NB
    8) create delivery,  by t. code  VL10 B (purchase orders fast display) (select the line item, and click on back ground, then click on the item and log button, then click on the item and documents , then the delivery will be showned in display mode, convert it to change mode and do picking and PGI
    9) then do MIGO  ( with that STO no.)
    Regarding Intra company STO,
the configuration is same as that of Inter company STO , except , the purchase order type is UB and delivery type is NLC
and steps are the same ME21N , VL10B and MIGO
    Hope this helps you,

  • Credit memo for Inter-company billing

    Hi
We are trying to create a credit memo with reference to an inter company billing document. The business requirement is to create a credit memo  to adjust the invoice value due to wrong value posted in the original inter-company invoice. Hence we do not want to use the sales returns route for this.
So, we are trying to create a credit memo request (ZCR) in VA01 with reference to the Inter company billing document (ZIV). We have maintained the copy control between ZCR and ZIV.
However, when creating a credit memo request (ZCR) with respect to the intercompany billing document, we get the below error in the sales order.
"Item category ZNLC is not defined" and "Check Item copy" with Message No: V1324.
ZNLC is the item category that we used in the intercompany delivery document.
We are able to ignore this message in sales order screen and save the credit memo request in VA01 and also create credit memo (ZG2) in VF01.
Pl provide your inputs on whether we are missing any other configuration.
    Regards,
    John

    Hi
I have maintained the item level copy control settings as below.
In the copy control (VTAF) between ZCR (Credit memo request) and ZIV (Inter company billing) at the item level for ZNLC (Inter company item category coming source document), the following setup has been maintained
    Copying requirements : 303
    Copy schedule lines : Blank
Pos / neg qty : Blank
    Pricing type : D
    Update doc flow : X
Do not copy batch : blank
Pl let me know if there are any other settings to be done in config.
    Thanks,
    John

  • Cost of Goods Sold account determination by customer type (inter-company)

We have a business need to separate the the cost of goods sold be customer type.  Specifically separating the inter-company cost of goods sold from the 3rd party cost of goods sold.
The standard COGS account determination in GBB/VAX only allows for differentiating between material valuation class.
Has anyone attempted this before and what method worked?

For those who may need an answer to this, our solution was the following:
    1)       Created new types for SO, SO Item, Sched. Line, Delivery, Delivery Item, Billing type
    2)       Created new Pricing procedure
    3)       Created new movement type Y61/Y62 modeled after 601/602
    4)       Mapped Y61/Y62 to account modifier ZAX.
    5)       Mapped GBB/ZAX to the new account.
Benefits, they now have better view of the orders going inter-company.  It is flexible enough to adjusting prices for intercompany separate from standard orders, even though for now it is a straight copy of cost.  They are able to remove the sales/use tax, from the calculations. They are able to plan with these orders separated out.  Plus, this will standardize their process for inter-company.
    Hope this helps someone.
    Cheers!
    Rick

  • Inter company PO is not pulling the valuation price from Material Master

    Hi Experts,
We have a scenario, Inter-company PO with pricing procedure which pulls Material Price from Material Master (Std Price), similar to intra company PO
Even after maintaining the std price in the supplying plant , system is not pulling the Valuation price from Material master only for a particular Material
I checked the Plant level attributes ( for ex: Plant Mat status, client level status and everything looks fine )
Could you guys please mention what would be the issue ?
    Thanks in advance
    Illayaraja

    Hi,
Is there a routine which pulls the value? then you need debug with ABAP help for that routine where its failing to pull

  • Inter company PO's invoice

    how the invoice works for inter-company PO's ( or STO's ) ??
    Please help

    Hi,
    Follow STO Process for this;
1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group :0007 using T-Code XK01.
    2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
    Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
    3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
    4. In Pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
    5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
    6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    10. After all settings , Create the STO using T-Code:ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
    11. Create Delivery :VL10G
Click on the Background Button after selecting line item
A message is flashed : See log for information> next Click on Log for delivery creation Button >click on line item>click on document button to get Delivery document No
    12. Picking, PGI:VL02N
    13. Billing:VF01
Save the document and its done
    14. J1IIN - Outgoing Excise Invoice
    15. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery
    16. J1IEX - Capture & Post Excise Invoice
    Pricing configuration for STO: -
In SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Schema Determination > Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders > Here assign Calculation Schema "RM2000" i.e. Stock Transfer Document to Schema Grp Pur. Org, STO Type (For e.g. UB) and Supplying Plant.
Calculation Schema "RM2000" has condiiton type P101 which will pick up the MAP of supplying plant automatically during creation of STO in ME21N ("Conditions" Tab).
You can create new freight/delivery cost conditions in M/06 and assign in pricing procedure "RM2000" in M/08
    At the time of PI, following accounting entry will get generated;
    Stock A/c - Dr - 110 INR (Receiving Plant)
    Stock A/c - Cr - 100 INR (Supplying Plant)
    Stock A/c - Cr - 10 INR (Supplying Plant)

  • PO Number Check on an Inter-Company Consignment Fill-up Order

    Hi Gurus,
I am working on an Inter-Company Consignment Fillup Scenario. When i create an order in CRM the order is error free. Upon replication i get an error. The error message is
Purchase order "TEST PO" does not exist in the system (see long text) (Notification E V1 583) - TEST PO is the PO entered.
The requirement is to enter any PO and ECC should not check if a Purchase Order exists for the PO entered in ECC.
This was working before we applied support packs in our environment 10 days back.
Well we do not create orders in ECC, if i try to create one in ECC the error is
Purchase order Test PO does not exist in the system
    Message no. V1583
    Diagnosis
You are creating an order for a consolidated company and must eliminate internal business volume. For this reason, the system tries to determine if the related purchase order exists. This is not the case, however.
    Procedure
Enter the relevant purchase order number
    Thanks,
    Kiran AV

    <b>Consignment Cycle:</b>
    1. Consignment fill up:
    Sales document type is KB
    Item category KBN
    schedule line category 1
In this step, you are not invoicing the customer. document flow is sales order -
delivery item category. It will not be relevant for billing and pricing because you are not charging money for these goods in this step.
In schedule line category, you will set movement type 631 & set for availability check and TOR.
    2. Consignment Issue.
Once the customer informed you that he used all the goods or partial goods then you will create consignment issue for used goods.
    Sales document: KE
    Item category: KEN
schedule line category: C0 or C1
Here you are invoicing the customer(because he used the goods). you are assigning the delivery document and billing document to the sales document.
In item category, you are setting relevant for billing, pricing, special stock.
In schedule line category, your setting is 633 movement type, relevant for availability check & TOR.
    3. Consignment Return:
Customer found that some goods are damaged or he not able to sold the goods he want to send it back. that you are creating this document.
    Sales document type: KR
    Item category: KRN
You will assign delivery document and billing to sales document. you will create return order, return delivery, return billing.
Your setting item category relevant for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
Your setting schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.
    4. Consignment Pick up:
Even if you create the consignment return the goods are not come to direct to your plant. For that you need to create consignment pick up. here the owner ship is not changing so you do not need to create billing.
Assign return delivery to sales document type.
    Sales document: KA
    Item category: KAN

  • Order related Inter-company Billing (Third Party Order)

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We are using SAP R/3 4.6C version.  Normally, the inter-company billing are delivery related and this is working fine.  I am configuring the order related Inter-company billing, i.e. Third Party drop shipment  with Inter-company.  I refered to SAP notes 203876, 63459, 381042 and maintained the copy control between OR => IVA (for TAS) as follows:
    Copying requirement      = '013',
       Invoiced quantity        = 'F', (*)
       Quantity/value          = '+',
       Pricing type            = 'G'.
The issue I am facing is when I try to create an Inter-company invoice (after the F2 Customer invoice), the End customer details is being pulled instead of the Inter-company customer details.  In other words the Inter-company invoice is also being issued to the End customer.  Also the prices are showing in negative.
Kindly share with me if any of you guys know a solution for this.  I have searched all the SAP forums, but couldn't find a similar issue.
My concern here is, in none of the SAP notes, there is no information about the copying requirement at the header level between OR=>IVA.  I am not sure whether this is causing the issue.
    Regards,
    Saravanan

    Hello Mrinal,
Please review the note 381042 Order-related intercompany billing in Releases.
o  Report RVIVAUFT instead of report ZZIVAUFT
        o  Standard requirement 036 'Item/order related IB'
Use this requirement in the copying requirement for billing
           documents for your process flow.
o  Standard requirement 018 'Order-related IB' instead of
           customer-specific output requirement 990.
Use this requirement in the output determination procedure of
your billing documents (in the standard system, this is procedure
V10000 'Billing outputs') for output type RDIV.
o  Standard ouptput type RDIV instead of customer-specific output
           type ZZIV.

  • Inter Company Stock transport order - invoice posting

    Hello,
I have a group of materials getting delivered from one plant to another plant and both the plants are in different company codes. Both the plants are in different company codes and so we adopted inter company STO process.
The STO process works fine with out failure. But during goods issue and invoicing some of the materials stock and amount values are getting posted differently than what is listed in PO.
Our end user complains that goods receipt is OK but sap goods issue and invoiced too much.
I tried looking at the purchase order history and every thing looks fine. When I look at the pricing conditions, I see one of the pricing condition is displayed with a red radio tab ( indicating a failure) but this pricing condition is not adding any amount to PO.
The end user runs the customized MM report  to correct these issues.
Can some one explain why their is difference showing up during invoice and goods issue time.
    Thanks
    Rakesh

This could you be material price diffrent in both companey codes.Check the VL03N post goods issue material document accounting doument and check th Billing document in vf03 transaction accounting document. It seems in invoice some extra conditions added in your case.Chack MM invoice through MIR4 invoice.
Normally when inter companey sto you have to do sales invoice and it will generate Miro invoice background.Check these things you will get some clue.

  • Inter company Billing for service industry

    Hi,
I never workded over inter company billing. Please suggest me what to do? I am in a service industry project where no delivery takes place. So how should i go about for intercompany billing configuration?
    Thanx in advance.
    Regardds,
    Satya

    Dear Satya,
You can create the inter company bill with refrence to the service order
To do inter company billing settings go through this IMG path
    IMG>Sales and Distribution>Billing-->Intercompany billing
Process steps for normal inter company process with delivery.
    INTER COMPANY BILLING
    Definition:
A company arranges direct delivery of the goods to the customer from the stocks of another company belonging to the same corporate group.
To put in simple terms, Company code A orders goods through its sales organization A from Plant B belonging to Company code B.
It is imperative that both Plants A & B should have the material. In other words, the material is created for both the Plants A & B + their respective storage locations.
Sales Organizations and Plants are uniquely assigned to Company codes. It is not possible to assign either a plant or a sales organization to more than one company code.
Sales organizations and plants assigned to each other need not belong to the same company code.
In other terms, a plant belonging to Company code A & assigned to Sales Organization A can also be assigned to Sales Organization B of Company Code B. This enables cross company sales.
    PARTIES INVOLVED
    1) End Customer 2) Ordering Company code 3) Supplying Company Code.
    End customer:
Customer who orders goods from the ordering company code.
    Ordering Company Code:
Which orders goods from Plant belonging to Supplying Company code through its sales organization and bills the end customer.
    Supplying Company Code:
Supplies goods from its plant to the end customer specified by the ordering company code and bill the ordering company code.
    CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
Assign Delivery Plant of the supplying company code to Sales Org + Distribution channel of the Ordering company code in the Enterprise Structure.
DEFINE ORDER TYPES FOR INTERCOMPNY BILLING:
Menu path: IMG/ SD/Billing/Intercompany Billing/Define Order Types for Intercompany billing
    Assign Organizational units by Plant:
Menu Path: IMG/ SD/Billing/Intercompany Billing/Assign Organizational units by Plant.
Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization:
Menu Path: IMG/ SD / Billing/ Intercompany Billing/ Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization:
Creating / Showing Ordering Sales Organization as Internal Customer for Supplying Company code:
    Transaction Code: XD01
The ordering sales organization is represented as Internal customer of Supplying company code.
We need to create customer master in Account Group - Sold to Party and maintain minimum required financial & Sales Area data.
This internal customer number has to be assigned to the ordering sales organization. Hence, the system automatically picks up this Internal customer number whenever there is Intercompany billing.
    PRICING:
We need to maintain two pricing procedures RVAA01 & ICAA01. Pricing procedure RVAA01 represents condition type PR00 & any other discounts or surcharges that are meant for end customer.
We assign Pricing procedure RVAA01 to combination of Sales area (Of Ordering company code) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure of Sales document type.
This pricing Procedure (RVAA01) is determined both at Sales Order level & Billing processing for the end customer. We maintain PR00 condition type to represent the ordering company code's price to the end customer.
Condition records for PR00 are maintained using organizational elements of Ordering company code, end customer & the Material.
Eg: Sales Org. of Ordering company code + End customer + Material.
We also need to maintain PI01 condition type to represent costs to Ordering company code (in other words revenue to supplying company code). It is statistical condition type & meant for information purpose only.
Condition records for PI01 are created with the following key combination:
Ordering sales Org + Supplying Plant + Material
Pricing Procedure ICAA01is determined at Intercompany billing processing level.
Pricing Procedure ICAA01 - Pricing Procedure for Inter company billing is assigned to the combination of: Sales Area (of supplying company code) + Document pricing Procedure of Billing document type IV + Customer Pricing Procedure of the Internal customer.
Pricing Procedure ICAA01 has condition type IV01 that represents revenues for Supplying company code in the intercompany billing.
PR00 condition type also appears in Intercompany billing document. It is for information purposes only and does not have bearing on the value of the document.
PI01 represented under pricing procedure RVAA01 is reference condition type for IV01 and the same is defined in the condition type IV01. Due to this these two condition types represent same value.
The condition type IV01 in intercompany billing document represents revenue to the Supplying Company. But its corresponding condition type PI01 in the billing document to the end customer is shown as a statistical item meant for information purposes.
In your requirenment there will not be delivery process in between service sales order and the intercompany bill so do the settings accordingly in the copy controls between service sales order type and inter company billing type.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

    Transaction Code: XD01
The ordering sales organization is represented as Internal customer of Supplying company code.
We need to create customer master in Account Group – Sold to Party and maintain minimum required financial & Sales Area data.
We maintain PR00 condition type to represent the ordering company code’s price to the end customer.
Pricing Procedure ICAA01 – Pricing Procedure for Inter company billing is assigned to the combination of:
    1)     Sales Area (of supplying company code) + Document pricing Procedure of Billing document type IV + Customer Pricing Procedure of the Internal customer.
Condition Type VPRS in the intercompany-billing document indicates cost to the supplying company code.
The use of two different condition types in Intercompany billing is necessary to ensure that data is transmitted correctly to the financial statement (Component CO-PA).

PI01 represents cost to ordering company (in other words, revenue for the supplying company). It is represented as statistical item only.
    DELIVERY:
Delivery is carried out from the supplying point & hence we can observe that it is done from shipping point assigned to the supplying point.

If the ordering company enters the incoming invoice manually, the delivering company can print out an invoice document with the help of output type RD00, which is then sent to the Payer.
If automatic invoice receipt has been agreed, we must use the SD output control functions to ensure that output type RD04 is found in internal billing. In R/3 system, output determination procedure V40000, which includes this output type, is assigned to Intercompany billing type IV.
The automatic posting to the vendor account is initiated when output type RD04 is processed. The system uses the EDI output type INVOIC in the FI variant.

It is not possible to assign either a plant or a sales organization to more than one company code.Sales organizations and plants assigned to each other need not belong to the same company code.
