Interacting with Camera Application with AS

Hello everbody,
I need help using the phone Camera application with
FlashLite.
For a Flashapp I need the camerafunction to make a photo
which should be sent
to a server. It works with a absolute path like
("z:\\system\\apps\\CamMojave\\CamMojave.app")
for NOKIA N90. But that makes no sense for application which
should run on different models.
Is it possible to launch the camera with a relativ path or it
there a other way to use the camera??

Dear Shekhar,
concerning EDI concept in SD: the EDI concept is intended to realize the sales and distribution process completely automatically with the help of electronical documents. These documents are sent from one customer to another, are processed mostly on the background and give a possibility to realize the sales process extremely efficiently.
If MM-customer would like to purchase the goods then he creates the IDOC of type ORDERS and send it to SD-customer. On the SD-side the IDOC is processed via the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and creates the sales order. As confirmation the SD-side can send to MM-side the Order-Response IDOC (function IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS). The MM-customer can every thime send a change to the existiong order, then on SD side the ORDCHG IDOC will be processed. It can change the order like in VA02. The creation of the invoice can be made via IDOC of message type INVOIC (function IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC).
So, the process can be realized completely automatically between SD and MM partners with the help of IDOCs: ORDERS, ORDCHG, ORDRSP, INVOIC.
That's all concerning the SD-EDI.
Additional processes in SD, where EDI are used:
1) application of delivery schedules to the scheduling agreement: IDOC of type DELINS
2) creation of a delivery order to the scheduling agreement: IDOC of type DELORD
3) creation of external agent service delivery to scheduling agreement: IDOC of type EDLNOT
4) creation of credit advice / credit memo in the frames of self-billing: IDOCs of type GSVERF, SBWAP and for external invoice creation SBINV.
It is all processes which are realized in the SD module via EDI.

Problems with EJB Application with many CMP's

I had been working with a Sun engineer in reference to a major problem with a large CMP Module with over 120 cmp beans with many relationships. It was filed as a bug and just recently they released Update 2. I installed this update and now I can build our complete application in Sun 1 Studio 5. Now, there seems to still be a problem in the application module. If we create the application and add our session module, cmp module and web module there is not problems. I can create the ear file and deploy this to S1AS7. Now if I exit the IDE the next time I return the Application shows that there is a error (red error indicator). I cannot expand the application to see the modules. The same problem was in S1S4 but it was not that big of a deal as it allowed you to add the modules back in, save and export the ear. But, now in S1S5 you cannot do a single thing with this module. Even the menu items to delete are not available. The only thing we can to is create the application again and add the modules etc. Also, if I right click on the application and select view error information it does nothing so I cannot even see the error that is causing this trouble. Also, we know it is something with the application and the cmp module because we can add just the web moduel and session module, save, exit and return and the application is fine. It is only when we add in the cmp module that after saving and returning things are wacked.
Has anyone else seen this problem with the application?

I have found the error. In the ide log it showed that the entity expansion limit was reached for the DOM parser. I added this to my ide.cfg and all works well now.

Apperently the limit is 64000 and with the very large modules it was just not enough.

I have a bug with camera & Walkman with Sony Xperia C3

When I'm shooting video every 2-3 seconds, the phone will refocus the image. During refocusing is getting totally blured. I tried different settings, but it didn't help. I've never seen so awful camera in the phone. I tested another phone Xperia C3 phone of my friend who had purchased the yesterday only, when i checked the video clarity, it had the same problem in a brand new phone also. I think sony has manufactured a worst Rear Camera for Xperia C3, not only i have the camera problem but My Walkman has a problem in it, I have updated the Walkman and after the every update every time i am listening to music the walkman would pause randomly or there would be no sound for atleast 5 to 7 second while a song is playing these would repeat twice in one track. I have gone through all the discussions from the sony forum i have tried all the possible things to fix it, but there is no use finally i came to know that its just a waste of time & Effort i'm making in it, I have the SD Card of San Disk of 16 GB with Class 10, When these problem's are gone be fixed by Sony. Please make sure to release an a update which might fix these issues.

Issue with Java Application with ECC - Connection Issue

We have developed one java application to connect to SAP to extract some data. We are using java API (sapjco) to connect to the SAP. Now we are facing one issue u2013 for the ECC while connecting through the java application we are getting u201CUserid or Password incorrect erroru201D, but with the same userid and password we are able to log through the SAP GUI. If we changed the password with all CAPS (Capital Letters) and without numeric values, its working fine in java application (Means its connecting to ECC)
We are facing this issue only in ECC; the same application is running successfully in SAP 4.7 etc. without changing password.
Please Help!

I would draw the conclusion that you have to provide the paaword in upper case. There is a standar java method there that does this for you. Just do it before sending the password.

Opening files tiff files from desktop always open with Camera Raw with Photoshop 2014

Why do my desktop tiff files which in the previous version of PS CC, opened directly into Photoshop (File>Open), but with PS 2014 always open into Camera Raw first? Is there a setting/preference that needs to be changed?

Preferences - Camera Raw...
Under JPEG and TIFF handling, change to "Disable TIFF support" to have images open straight into Photoshop.

Cookies (working with another application)

Hello,
I am currently working on a project. I finished everything in the project but there are many requests to bypass the login page. Currently users log on to a facutly site which then gives them the link to my application. The password for the faculty site and my own differ. They are requesting that the login page can be avoided when opening the application from the faculty site.
I read a similar thread at Re: How to co-work with another application with Cookie or something
So, the faculty page would authenticate. My application uses the same database, but should work well as is. There is no transfering of information between applications. Basically all my application needs to do is log the user in automatically.
I believe this is done via cookies. I've tried some OWA_COOKIE procedures, but I think I am doing it all wrong. It is an area that I've never covered.
Any help would be great. Thanks

Applescript application with UI dialogs auto relaunch !

I have a strange behavior with Applescript Application with UI dialogs (for exemple, just display dialog "toto" ). These scripts run, quit and then always relaunch with no end, a king of "keepalive" option.
The problem doesn't appear when I run the script from the Applescript Editor, neither with scripts without UI dialogs. I've tried my application script on another Mac, and it was okay, just on normal run and quit.
I can't find the source of my problem on the particular mac, both Macs are up to date (10.8.2). I've cleaned up some startup damemons, relaunch the dyld database. I tried to find a clue with the ps command, but I just can see that my application is relaunched by launchd, without more information.
Has anyone experienced the same problem, or have an idea to find the source of this, thanks.

You're a little light on details there, which is going to make answering your question tricky.
Are you saying, though, that launchd is starting your script? repeatedly?
If so it would help to know what your script is doing. Launchd expects to launch executables and doesn't expect them to quit. If it quits (or dies) within 10 seconds then launchd assumes the process failed and relaunches it. That sounds to me like what you're saying (/var/log/system.log will confirm that).
If that's the case, the problem is that your script is too quick. Slow it down by ensuring it takes at least 10 seconds before it quits (a simple delay added to the end of the run handler should take care of that), then launchd won't try to restart it.
You can also edit the launchd configuration to not be so sensitive to short-lived tasks, but that's probably more work.

I read that it is not on Snow Leopard only on Leopard....so do I need to get only Leopard? Can u advise?

FaceTime HD Camera (Display) not working with most applications

The Thunderbolt 27" LED Cinema displays built in camera is not working with most applications. The camera does not work with FaceTime, iChat, Skype and Google Talk. FaceTime says "There is no connected camera", even though there is. Weird thing is it DOES work at http://www.testmycam.com. I can't get it to work with any other flash based apps, just testmycam.com.
My MacBook Pro 17" (late 2011) built in camera works perfectly with everything.
Things I've already tried:
- Shutdown
- Restart
- disconnect/reconnect
- removing power from display
lame, lame, lame. $1k monitor, flippin' webcam doesn't work.

I think I have found the problem. I decided to go page by page through the forums and found this argument when running a Java program through the console:
-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true
So it would be like:
java -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true SwingSet2
That works flawlessly, so it has to do with direct draw (So it's either DirectX or my video card drivers which are up to date).

Using UI Automation Framework to interact with Flex applications

Hi all,
I created a small flash app using Flex builder 4.
I am writing a tool to interact with flash applications using UI Automation Framework which is similar to UI Spy. I've read in so many forums that accessibility can be done using UI Automation or MSAA.
Using the tool, I am able to get all the fields that are present in the application. (button, text, edit fields etc). Now, I want to use InvokePattern on buttons from my tool so that, if I click "Invoke" in my tool, the associated button will be clicked in the flash app. Here, I find no issues to do anything.
But, if there is a textinput field on the flash application and I use ValuePattern of UI Automation to set some value in the field using SetValue(), then I am getting
"System.InvalidOperationException"
even when I tried simple SetFocus() on to that field, I am getting the same exception Looks like, I cannot interact with flash text fields in the same way I do with other window's fields.
I used UISpy and other tools to see if they are doing any better with setting values on a text field. But, they too failed with same exception.
Can someone tell me why this is failing? Does flex/flash support UI Automation to this extent? Are there any examples or links that can help me here?

I downloaded flex sdk to see if there is anything that will help me. But, In flex sdk, I cannot find anything that would ease my path. I want to stick to developing in C# to talk to Flash applications. What is the best way to proceed? Are there any sdks that I can download and use for C# development to interact with the flex controls? What is the way to go? I seem not to find any good hits in the web as well

Your iTunes account sounds like it does not have a credit card or payment attached to it. Even free apps require that you have entered payment information even though you won't be charged for the app.
