Interactions in Adobe Presenter

I am unable to edit any interactions in Adobe Presenter. This appears to be a horrible and unuser friendly feature, I just can't believe it is that bad. Something must be wrong. I can't delete options at all. I can't control text in tab area - in process tab interaction. I can't type, or add pictures that aren't stretched. It seems to be slow and non responsive most of the time, and sometimes. I get an Allow/Deny box for Flash, but it doesn't even let me click either. It just hangs. I don't have this problem with any other software product I use including Adobe Captivate. I am really dissappointed in this product, I thought it was supposed to be easy, I cancode this faster in a variety of other tools. Please help - time is of the essence!

I'm using Adobe Presenter, and I'd like to download more interactions. There's a button in the Interactions Menu (called "Télécharger davantage" = "Download more"), but the link where it's pointed is dead. Is there a way to download new interactions (quizz, scheme, ...).

Using FMS Interactive server with Adobe Presenter or Camtasia?

Afternoon. I've been trying to search everywhere for being able to figure out how to host Adobe Presenter and Camtasia files on our FMS Interactive server. Has anyone had any success?
I think part of the issue is SWF files. Does FMS Interactive server support swf files?

Is there a book marking feature in adobe presenter?

Seems to major on the integration of presenter video with slides. Video seems to be winning the war against SCORM primarily because of mobile device friendliness I think.

Adobe Presenter 9 Scorm 1.2 package does not close..Help!

Hello. I am in the process of compiling some 90+ SWIF CBTS into SCORM 1.2 conformant LMS Lessons using Adobe Presenter 9.0 and MS Powerpoint 2010. All works like a charm when compiled in 2 different LMS systems up to the end.. The Lesson Window remains open and it needs to automatically close when the lesson is complete. . All the MS PPTX switches are off or not set.. (timing is off, on mouse click of not checked).
Some research indicates that Adobe may have not included the proper calls based on SCORM 1.2/1.3 standards to close the window - so it remains open and the associate will not get credit for the course completon.
Any ideas on what needs to be done to add the proper code to the Manifest XML (or other XML?) ... and bear in mind.. this is a non-programmer..
any help is appreciate!!!!

The content server is that of a clients so I'm presuming the CMI adapter is working fine as the log shows that the API interactions are working. All xsd files are included within the zip.
This package works fine in other LMSs e.g. testtrack.scorm.com but I think that objective PK error may well be the issue with this system.
I'll get in touch with support. Do you think that creating a more complex objective id would work? at the moment I'm setting each section as an objective with id section1, section2 etc.
edit: I also notice that cmi.objectives.n.objective_key is referenced in the log which is not referenced in my code nor is it part of the SCORM 1.2 specification. Could this non-standard value be required to be set?

Adobe Presenter and LMS

Help--if I create an e-learning course with Adobe Presenter I have three output options for publishing.
Creation of a flash presentation via HTML (SWF)
Run it through Adobe Connect Pro
Publish to a PDF
Can any of these be supported through an LMS other than Connect Pro? I'm trying to tie a developed course to an LMS on a large scale such that multiple companies can register many employees and manage, track course completion, etc.

My opinion is positive, depending on your needs. We use Presenter and Captivate for all of our courses. Presenter has ease of use going for it. If you can use PowerPoint, you can use Presenter. That can be good or bad. I believe Presenter is great for straight-forward, click-through courses. Quizzing is decent. It's not a robust, option-laden application.
Captivate is great for simulations and interactive learning. You can force the learner to participate.
I haven't used many others out there but Adobe has two winners in these products.

FlashVars in Adobe Presenter

I am trying to set FlashVars on a SWF inserted through Adobe Presenter. I right-click, go to Properties and bring up the inspector that allows me to configure the SWF's properties. There is a FlashVars entry there, but every time I enter a value into the field, it immediately disappears. I can hit Enter, hit Tab or click away and it happens the same way. I put in a value and poof! it disappears.
I have tried this with PPT 2003 and 2007 and with Presenter 6 and 7. I have had another person test this with PPT 2007 and Presenter 7 with the same result. I can't seem to find anything on this out there on the Web or here on the Adobe site. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please help!

Requesting documentation or tool(s) to create a completely silent installation of Adobe Presenter 9

I have several computers I need to install Adobe Presentor on, is their a way to install Presentor 9 silently. Let me be perfectly clear, NO USER INTERACTION, NO SCREENS, NO LOGINS. I have ran into to many companies that do not understand the true concept of SILENT INSTALLS.

Yes you can perform silent installtion of Adobe Presenter 9 using CCP(Creative Cloud Packager). CCP will be available in your LWS website(www.licensing.adobe.com) . Download CCP from LWS website and create a package for Presenter 9.
Note: Make sure that the If you are using 64 bit OS then you have to create 64 bit package and if you are using 32 bit OS then you may need to create 32 bit package. Also this process is only applicable for 32 bit Powerpoint.

After creating the package:
Steps to follow to deploy silently on single machine:
1. Open CMD in Administrator mode.
2. Give the path till inside the build folder of the package. For Example if the build is saved on your Desktop the path in CMD should be as below:
                     C:\Users\[username]\Desktop\Packagefolder\packagename\Build>
3. Now type the following installation command: msiexec.exe /i packagename.msi /quiet
4. Launch Task Manager.
5.There will be three process of “msiexec.exe”
a)   6.One will be under System
b)   7.Other Two will be under [username].
8.Installation will be completed once both the process of msiexec.exe under the [username] are finished.
9.The installation process with take 5 to 10 minutes

Is there a way to attach files into a Captivate Project like Adobe Presenter?

All,
There are things I like about Adobe Presenter and things I like better in Adobe Captivate. Is there a way to attach files like spreadsheets, PDFs, and Word documents in Adobe Captivate like you can in Adobe Presenter? It is real easy to do and I find it hard to imagine tha Captivate does not have an easy mechanism for doing this unlike Adobe Presenter which does it naturally.
I am working on a project that has a complicated Table of Contents that Adobe Presenter cannot handle (yet Articulate works creates TOCs without any issue). All the slides visible or none or lack of grouping options are not accpetable. So I am redoing this in Captivate. For the most part I am having no issues with the TOC but the point of this little project is to disseminate a spreadsheet to audience members that care to download it. Here is where Presenter is better since it is real simple to do this. Am I just lost in Captivate or do I need to do something "un-godly" complicated for a simple task?

Hi Mike,
I'm using Presenter too, not only Captivate. Use Presenter often as wrapper for CP-movies (if I do not need the right click functionality). And I agree: some aspects are more attractive in Presenter (thinking about the Notes panel, the automatic adaption of the languages...). But you have to miss grouping in the TOC, and for real eLearning with interactivity, branching, I go for Captivate.
If you want some features transferred to Captivate, why not filling in a feature request? The form is on the main page of these forums.
Just wanted to help you. The action 'Open URL or File' is not that complicated to use.

In shorts: I would like to have a good-looking presentation
on my webpage, but I don't care about interacting with other people
using adobe connect. Can this be solved in any way? Or do I have to
pay 375US$ a month just to have a good-looking presentation?

Yes thats possible. You only have to purchase one Adobe

Recording iSight Video plays back too fast in Adobe Presenter/Office 2010?

Running Presenter within PowerPoint detects and records using iSight. But the Playback is too fast, chipmonk like.
Perhaps its an FLV codecs issue.

Do you mean that when you see the video inside Video Creator, slide 10 appears for a split second and then jumps to slide-11?
Can you record the same scenario in diagnostic mode and send us the logs.
Follow these steps -
1. Close Video creator if it is already opened
2. In Windows > Programs > look for "Troubleshoot Adobe Presenter Video Creator"
3. Launch the same and record the exact same steps
4. Stop recording > Ensure that the issue has been reproduced.
5. Close the application.
6. While closing, it will prompt you to send us an email with collected log reports.
Kindly send the logs. We will go through it and get back to you.
It will also be great if you can send us the presentation in which the issue is reproducible.
