Interactions, Jigsaw too big when run in browser

When using the Jigaw interaction the Jigsaw is too big and will not fit within the slide.
I have used an image 300 x 300 and even 100 x 100, no change.
I have tried every combination of size and position that I can think of.
I am sure that I have overlooked something simpe.
Has anyone any idea's ??

Unable to interact with Flash content when running Firefox with restricted user

When running Firefox with limited Windows user on Windows XP the Flash elements are displayed, the content that is set to auto-play does so even, but the flash area doesn't receive any mouse input: e.g. when I right click in the area instead of the flash context menu I get the browser context menu as if the flash plug-in wasn't even there. The exact same page on the exact same computer but with Administrator user works as expected: can press buttons, interact with flash controls and the context menu upon right-click is of course the flash one. This behavior occurs even if I disable all add-ons.

Blu-ray says capacity too big when burning DVD Rom Folder Encore CS4

I have tried 3 times now to burn a Blu-ray Image file with a DVD rom Content Folder. The Blu-ray Image size is 45.90gb and the content folder is 1.6gb. The disk is a Sony DL 50gb Blu-ray. I have not tried to burn direct to disk because cost of Blu-rays. I am using Encore CS4. Is it that you cannot make an image file with DVD-rom for DL Blu-rays. Is there a number preset by Adobe for image file size for DL Blu-ray. Please help

In computer GB, (47.60 x 2^30) that's over 51 billion bytes. Sony and other blank media manufacturers report the capacity of their blank discs in normal GB (50 x 10^9), or 50 billion bytes.
Your project is too big to fit on the blank media that you have.

Files sizes too big when I burn CDs

I am fairly new to itunes and the imac. It seems that file sizes are pretty big when I burn a CD to itunes and are going to take up my ipod nano quickly. For instance, a 10 song CD took up 423 MB. The import settings I have use the AAC Encoder option and the quality is 128 kbps. Should I be using different settings to get the copied song size down? If so, what do you recommend?

Please double check your import settings as the avg 4 minute song imported in AAC @ 128 should yield an approximate file size of 4mb, for a 10 song disc, 40mb. A total file size of 423mb really sounds like an uncompressed format such a Lossless, or AIFF. Also, verify the format/bitrate by ctrl-click on any song in iTunes, the "get info" . The summary tab at this point will give you the format/bitrate used to import the song. I just imported a 3 disc set tonight by "Genesis" in AAC @ 256kbps, the 40 songs on this set using the above settings only gave a total file size of 438mb.

Help! Size of garage band song too big when exported

I'm trying to share songs I've created with Garage band. For some reason they are way too large (40 - 60MB) to attach to an email and send. They shouldn't be that big, they are just average sized songs. Thats the size that they each came out when I exported it from garage band to itunes. A friend recomended a program Audacity to reduce their size (or bitrate?) but I haven't a clue as to how to use it to make my songs normal size. Is there some simple way to reduce their size so that I can send them to people?
Also, the second part of my question is I would like the songs to be in a format readable not only by Mac users but by PC users as well.
As you can see I know very little about this stuff but I really need to send these songs out, any bit of help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou, Marc.

We get posts like this one here fairly often, and I can't understand it.
Go look at your CD collection. Every 3-minute song on any CD takes up 30 MB of file space. Every 5-minute song takes up 50MB of file space.
It's the same with GarageBand, because GarageBand records and mixes music to 16-bit, 44.1KHz two-channel stereo, just like on a CD. One minute of stereo music takes up approximately 10 MB.
Complaining that a five minute song in GarageBand takes up 50 MB is like complaining that a foot has twelve inches in it, or that a kilogram contains 1000 grams.
Use iTunes to burn your GarageBand songs to a CD in the regular audio CD format. Then mail the CD to your friends. They'll be able to listen to it on a Windows PC or a regular CD player at home or in their car.
You can use iTunes to convert your recording into an MP3 that is as small as you want it, but the smaller the end result, the poorer the audio quality.

Silverlight 5, SharePoint 2010 and Require elevated trust when running in-browser

I cannot get a Silverlight 5 application hosted in the SharePoint SilverlightWebPart to have elevated trust.
Steps I have taken.
1. Edited the registry to allow the Silverlight 5 app to run elevated as per

The Silverlight 5 app runs fine in Visual Studio 2012, but when I upload the xap file to SharePoint and try the same action,
Application.Current.HasElevatedPermissions is always false (i.e. the Silverlight 5 app has not gone into elevated trust).
What additional steps have to be taken in SharePoint 2010 to make the SilverlightWebPart allow its enclosed XAP to go into elevated trust?

[Macbook5,2] GPU runs too hot when running any 3D accelerated games and shuts down.

So I recently got into running Windows on my late 2009 Macbook with the integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M chipset.
Now, I know it has been pointed out this is not an amazing piece of graphical hardware, and that is of course understandable.
I do not see however, why when my fans run at max (6200 rpm) it can not deal with me running some games. (Whether or not I decrease the quality of the graphics seems to have no bearing on all of this.)
Interestingly enough I can run a stress test on both cores and the CPU cores only gets up to 89C and maintains that or drops down to 88C at full fan usage.
The GPU makes the computer instantly shutdown (or when I am lucky suspend, so I can wait, come back, and save) around 90C.
What is also interesting is that when I used WinE based technology on Mac OS this did not happen. My guess is this is because Mac OS does not let programs access the hardware directly (or so I have heard).
My question is basically this: Can I keep this from happening, and if so, how?
I've read articles about underclocking the CPU, but I assume that reducing the heat from the cpu would not greatly (if at all) affect the temperature of the GPU. Can I underclock the GPU?

Oh yes, just to be clear, the reason I do not "just use the WinE based technologies" is that with the added compatibility layer the games run extremely sluggish.

Top margin too big when printing to shared printer

We have a Canon Pixma iP6600D printer that is connected to an iMac on our home network and shared for printing with other macs in the house.
Suddenly, since a few days ago, any prints made from these other machines are printing with too large a top margin (i.e. the print starts too low on the page by about an inch), and so the bottom margin is consequently too narrow (and sometimes the ink even overflows past the bottom of the page).
When I attach the printer directly via USB to one of these machines then the printouts look just fine.
All the machines have OSX 10.7.2 installed.

This worked for me too, though I was in a rush and didn't really read what I was doing. This tip removes all printers configured on your Mac, not just the one that is selected. If you also connect to networked printers (not those with configured with Bonjour) or any other advanced printer, you'll want to write down any IP addresses or settings before proceeding. My guess is that simply removing and then adding the Bonjour printer again would also do the trick.

Non-MAC laptop fan too loud when running iTunes

Recently I experienced very loud/fast spin fan with heated laptop whenever I run iTunes, especially if I downloading apps. And it wasn't brief. Spin vigorously throughout the downloading process. I never experienced this problem before. I am using iPhone 4S with latest iTunes on VAIO laptop. And this problem actually not permit me to install large updates (iOS), therefore, I am still using iOS 5.XX

yes, it is normal for them to run on the hot side, especially when using programs like photoshop.

Canvas becomes too big when generating tabs on a content canvas

I want to generate the following layout:

Also MR block which is a detail of block 1

Problem is that the height of the tab canvas pages becomes 46 and not 31, so the height of the window becomes 61. I've tried several options, als with view height and width, but it is always reproducable and wrong. And with every module I build with the same sort of layout.

When i'm not been able to get the right size i will add a pre-form-trigger and resize the object at runtime. It's saves me a lot of time instead of trying to instruct the generator to do so.
I'm always using the pre-form-trigger and not the when-new-form-instance-trigger because Headstart will do the initialization after the pre-form-trigger is fired and so it's taking the changes made in the pre-form-trigger into account.

Saving animated gif error - canvas size too big?

i have been asked to create an animated gif which has a snow effect in the background. The animation runs pretty well using the pattern style to move the animated snow down. The problem is when I try to export the animation the save for web dialogue window freezes and I can't quit photoshop. I have tried to make the canvas (image size) smaller and it works.
Is there a memory problem with creating animations in Photoshop if the document size is too big, im running a 3000x1000px at 72dpi
TThe animation would be used on a web app, which a script could probably do a better job, but I need to try this first.

Something is very wrong here. The point behind using GIFs is that they are small and OK to put on a Web site.
First thing: forget all about PPI - this has absolutely no relevance to Web/screen images; it is only used for printing. You need to think about the pixel size.
So, how big in pixels are your starting images?
How big do you want the resulting GIF to be? Again, you have to decide in pixels, as the viewing size will depend upon screen resolution of the person looking at it. You can use a notional PPI of 70-100 to guess how big it will be in inches, but that's all it is - a guess.
Is this getting you going in the right direction?
I cannot resist commenting that I hate almost all animated GIFs as they reduce Web site usability so much.

PcSync2.SML file grows too big with Outlook calend...

My problem is that file PcSync2.SML grows way too big when I am synchronizing Outlook calendar information with my N95 phone. In first synchronization time PcSync2.SML file size is about 8MB, second synchronization gives additional 3MB, altogether ~11MB even tough I just synchronize calendar items one week past and one week to the future. Can somebody explain why file size of PcSync2.SML is so ridiculous?
This is big problem for me, because our company has limited profile space to 30Mb and I am running out of that right from the start. This is global setting for our company and can not be changed.

PC Suite releases including and after 6.85, contained some changes to reduce the size of the PC Sync control file. It is still possible, however, in very restricted environments, that this file could grow beyond the size limit.
Further changes are being considered that would allow Administrative control of the location of the control file, such that a less restricted location could be selected.

How do you change the size of display in Firefox, I get Hotmail too small and Flikr too big

I get the font size too small on Hotmail when viewing through Firefox. The screen size and font size is too big when viewing Flickr through Firefox. I am sure it is a simple question of adjusting zoom and I have seen it change while I am online. I just can't work out what I did to change it.
