    Message no. APPLG225
    Diagnosis
The required graphics product is not available on the current platform. It is either not permitted, or it does not work properly.
The application does not have a fallback strategy.
    Procedure
    Application/Specialists
Contact your developers to see if a fallback strategy can be implemented.
    Development
Check the call method of the graphics proxy. If the graphics product is not mandatory (parameter FORCE_PROD), then the graphics proxy can select a different graphics product that is available on this platform.

    Dear Adam,
The prerequisite for graphics in planning folders is the SAP Internet Graphics Server. The connection between the SAP Internet Graphics Server and the system in which you operate BPS must take place using an RFC destination of the type TCP/IP with the predefined name IGS_DEST_POFO.

  • Changing the Chart Title in Graphic View in Interactive demand Planning

    Hi All,
Is it possible to change the Chart title in Graphic View in interactive demand planning screen.
When we go to interactive planning after loading the data we go to Univariate forecast then switch to graphic, the chart title shows the selection at which the planning is done. For eg; If I plan at die level and i select a particular sap material, the chart title displays Die value and not the material value.
Is it possible to change the chart title such that it displays all the selections made in selection winodw, like in the above case both Die value as well as SAP Material Number.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Diana

    Dear Diana,
    unfortunately this is not possible.
The chart title is build from the planning book name + the Show characteristic in the shuffler (+ available nav. attributes of the Show char).
The functionality you requested doesn't exist in standard.

  • How to add new product in interactive demand planning(IDP)

    Hi gurus,
How to add new product in interactive demand planning(IDP), can you suggest me, when i click data view in IDP, it will show new product.
    Regards
    babu

    Hi Raj,
Since the New Product is already in MPOS what you need to do in your Data view is to go to "Selection Window" on the left side of the screen(make sure you dont click on the existing selection ids). Select Product at the top, the planning version will come in the next row and then you again select the Product as charateristic and enter the New product name against the Product(Characteristic) and then save it in case you want it to use for your future references. When you will double cilck on the newly made selection id you will be able to see you product with the keyfigure details in right side.
Please let me know if it works.
    Thanks,
    Anand.

  • Interactive demand planning  -statistical forecasting error

    Hell APO DP experts,
We are implementing CBF functionality in demand planning. In /SAPAPO/SDP94 - Interactive Demand Planning, when we try to run forecast we are getting a message:
Not possible to carry out the forecast  -  no historical data
    Message no. /SAPAPO/MA502
although the historical data is there.
    Any info on this?
    Regards
    Pandit

    Hi,
If you are working on SAP APO 4.0/4.1,
Check OSS Note 790517 - No error message "No historical data available".
Implement the corrections as mentioned in the message.

  • Demand Planning Aggregates

    Hi All,
I am trying to use aggregates in DP but I am facing the following error messages when I try to load data from the aggregates in interactive demand planning:
There are no plannable characteristic combinations
Error reading data - Planning book cannot be processed further
Using /sapapo/ts_pstru_tool  and Technical Info. for Aggregate, I noticed that number of entries for the aggregate in 0. I tried to fill it again but nothing happened. I have already tried to deactivate and reactivate, but it did not help.
I also tried to activate and fill the aggregate using the cube generated in BW. In the log I have the following error:
SQL Error: Operand data type nvarchar is invalid for sum oper ator.
    SQL Error: 8117
Has anyone faced this problem before and knows how to solve it?
    Thanks in advance.
    Emilie

the reason for the error and the repair is as in the section below.... and looks like it says there is no solution
i suppose you have tried to activate it again... and have not got any result
you might as well try to inactivate it and recreate the aggregates
then go and refill the cvcs with a fresh create CVC using /SAPAPO/MC62  variant
(be careful - deactivating the MPOS itself will cause data loss)
if you create your CVCs in the MPOS after your aggregates are activated it would automatically aggregate in the right level
    Use
The system checks whether the relevant characteristic value combinations
in the master planning object structure exist for the combinations in
the aggregate(s). If this is not the case, that is there are
combinations in the aggregate for which there are no corresponding
combinations in the master planning object structure,  the data in the
planning area(s) is inconsistent and error messages are issued, in
         interactive planning for instance.
In the results log the system displays the characteristic value
combinations in the aggregate  that do not have corresponding
combinations in the master planning object structure.
The aggregate has not been filled correctly.
    Repair
It is not possible to repair this type of error automatically since the
superfluous combinations in the aggregate  cannot just be deleted.
Reactivate the aggregate. This only leads to a loss of data if values
have been fixed on the aggregate.

    Hi,
As far as i know when you use Adobe forms in a WD4A application, language is your "web" connection language.
You can have a look at standard class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICE, it's used when generating an adobe forms from WD4A. , more particulary look at method DETERMINE_DOCPARAMS.

  • 21st  Interactive list goes to short dump?

    Hi,
Why does the 21 st  Interactive list goes to short dump?
I know this is due to memory is it correct?
If it is mentioned in the kernal, then where can i find this info?
    aRs

    Hi,
    Please see this test program
    report.
    uline.
    set user-command'PF08'.
    at pf8.uline.
    set user-command'PF08'
It is giving short dump of "No further selection list possible"
I need to avoid short dump in this scenario. For avoid this i am writing a C call
    if sy-lsind > 21 then resetting to 0.

(Due to this same kind of logic applied to lot of programs i don't want to change all)

  • Not able to Upload data in Demand Planning data view

    Hi
I am trying to upload a csv  file in to Demand planning interactive planning through " Upload Data " functionality
First I exported data from interactive planning , updated some data in file and again trying to upload same file.
    I am getting following error
    File cannot be uploaded
    Message no. /SAPAPO/SDP_UPLOAD009
    Diagnosis
File  has no technical information or incorrect technical information.
    Procedure
Save the file again locally. Make sure that the file has the technical information.
Could u please suggest what needs to be done
    Thanks and regards,
    Nitin Lavhe

    Hello,
For using the upload data functionality from interactive planning grid, you need to first download the data. While downloading the data, please check the check box for "Prepare the file for upload at later time", and then select the option of putting the technical setting into the file or into the system. Either way is okay. Then try uploading the same file.
    This should solve your problem.
    Thank you.

    Jacky Jain.

  • Short dump in report CLEAN_REQREQ_UP

    Hi,
I'm in classic scenario with SRM 5.5 . I've created a PO in backend and when I run this report, a short dump  appears
    Have anybody any idea?
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards

    hi dinesh
    my business steps are :
I'm in srm server 5.5. and sap ERP 6.0
I'm in classic scenario with plan driven procurement.
I replicate my PR from PS to SRM, create a bid invitation. Receive bids and when I accept one of them I create a PO in backend.
These steps work fine, but I can't run this report.
    The dump is as follows:
    - " UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION"
    -  "The exception 'CX_BBP_PD_ABORT' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along the call hierarchy"
    - Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'SAPLBBP_PDH' has to be terminated.
    Do you need anything more?
    Thanks in advance

  • ECC 6.0 bar chart short dump

We are starting an upgrade from 4.7(non-Unicode) to ECC 6.0(Unicode), using SAPgui for Windows (version 7.10).  In our 4.7 systems, the graphical bar chart on the Project Planning Board (txn CJ2C) works as expected.  However, in the 6.0 development system, before displaying the gantt chart, the system short dumps with CREATE_ERROR.
I have searched the forums and looked through OSS notes and was unable to find anything that described the problem or was pertinent to our release.  I have debugged through the transaction and am finding that the short dump occurs in method cl_gui_barchart=>constructor around the following code:
at line 83 if the system is unicode (which it is), the code calls method cl_gui_frontend_services=>check_gui_support, exporting 'ganttcontrol'/'usedataasstream' and expecting a result in variable l_guisupp_data_as_string.  When it returns from the check_gui_support method, l_guisupp_data_as_string is blank, so the next "if" statement raises an error that is not handled:
         if l_guisupp_data_as_string = abap_true.
.....code not executed because the variable = abap_false.
         else.
.....raise create_error.    <<<<< this is where the dump occurs.
         endif.
Note that in the debugger, if I force l_guisupp_data_as_string to be = abap_true, the gantt chart/barchart displays as expected.  (gotta love the debugger)  But since it is standard SAP code I would prefer to resolve the problem without a modification and am hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction.
This short dump occurs with gui versions 710 and lower.  (I personally am using sapgui version 710, patch level 7.)  Has anyone had problems like this with the graphical elements in SAP or does anyone have a suggestion as to why the gui is not displaying the barchart correctly in our unicode system?
Sorry for the very long message, but thanks in advance for the help!

I just installed the latest patch on the SAPgui, so I am now running:
    Release: 710 Final Release
    File Version: 7100.2.8.1039
    Build: 983952
    Patch Level: 8
But I am still getting the short dump.  I have done extensive searches of SAP Help, OSS notes, and this and other forums (even just looking up the problem on "google") but can't seem to find anything that applies to this scenario.  I'm not very familiar with the methods in cl_gui_frontend_services, so if anyone can give me a pointer of where else I can look, I would greatly appreciate it!
I also have edited the Subject line to be more informative about the problem
