Interactive forms not opening..

Hi experts,
I am having a problem with the interactive forms,
I have nade an iview in which i have used a interactive form ui element, i deployed the application but the form is not opening, previously i was using adobe 8 now i have uninstalled adobe 8 and installed adobe 7.08 in my machine and made again the application and deployed it, and it is now poening in my machine but notin other machines where aobe 8 is installed,
Please give me suggestions to rectify this problem.

I have a browser enabled, Infopath 2010 form that has been in production in Sharepoint for a couple of years now. The form is a browser enabled form but it keeps opening in the Infopath client when the forms are opened via Sharepoint. As far
as I know, there is only one user in our entire organization that is having the problem. The problem did not start until a new site master page was implemented a few weeks ago.
In addition to the form not opening in the browser, he does not get the sharepoint drop down arrow when hovering over a file name in this library. I was going to have him try selecting "edit in browser" but he does not get the menu.
I've seen dozens of posts on how to resolve this Infopath issue as an enterprise wide solution, but my problem is limited to one user.
The following has been confirmed:
Infopath Forms Services feature is active
The form was designed and published as a browser enabled form
The library advanced settings for "Opening Documents in the Browser" has the option selected for "Open in the browser".
The affected user is using IE 9 32-bit. I made sure he was not using 64-bit as I've seen a lot of other Sharepoint problems with that before.

For a better troubleshooting, I suggest to do as follows:
1. Please check whether add the following code in the master page(<head/> tags).
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8"/>
2. Check whether it works on the user colleague’s computer.
3. Try to use IE8 to check whether it workds.

Adobe LiveCycle Forms not opening in Chrome.
Today, I noticed that if the PDF from is opened from Chrome when it is rendered from an IIS server using the following methoed:
Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.adobe.xdp+xml"
Response.WriteFile(""...file-path-name...")
Just Yesterday morning it was working fine.
If I open the PDF over a direct link to the PDF file, it will open fine.
I reported this problem from Chrome using "Report Issue". I hope someone can help me to solve this problem.
Note: I have disabled the built-in PDF Viewer, and Enabled the Aodbe Reader Plugin in Chrome long time ago. I also reset the Chrome Browser, and still not working

This is an update to give more details.
Following is the environment I use:
Chrome Version (type about:version into your omnibox): 32.0.1700.76
Adobe Reader: XI
Adobe Acrobat 9.5
Operating System (Windows 7/8/Vista/XP, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS): Windows 7
Extensions (type Chrome:extensions into your omnibox): SnappySnippet 0.4
- Adobe Reader Plugin is enabled.
- Native PDF Viewer is disabled.
- All other extensions are disabled.
Note: I am rewriting the problem discription to clarify.
Few days ago, I noticed that if the PDF form will not be rendered properly, if it is opened from Chrome over ASP.NET Website, and when it will be rendered from an IIS server using the following method:
Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.adobe.xdp+xml"
Response.WriteFile("...file-path-name...")
I am 100% sure it was working fine before. Also, it is working fine from IE 10 and Latest FireFox version.
If I open the PDF over a direct link to the PDF file, it will open fine.
Note: I have disabled the built-in PDF Viewer, and Enabled the Adobe Reader Plugin in Chrome long time ago. I also reset the Chrome Browser, and still not working.
When I navigate to the link using Chrome to render the PDF Form, I can see that Adobe is trying to open the PDF Form, and then I get a black Window.
Sometimes the PDF form will open in the following cases:
1. After waiting for several minutes
2. When I detach the browser tab from main browser window
3. When I resize the Window or Minimize/Maximize it
I have no problem whatsoever when I use IE or FireFox.

Oracle forms not opening after FNDCPASS & adconfig in 11i

i changed password of user SYSADMIN
FNDCPASS apps/apps 0 Y system/manager USER SYSADMIN WELCOME
and then run adconfig
. adconfig.sh contextfile=/d02/oracle/proddb/9.2.0/appsutil/PROD_erpx.xml appspass=apps
. adconfig.sh contextfile=/d01/oracle/prodappl/admin/PROD_erpx.xml appspass=apps
after this oracle forms not opening. adconfig ran successfully for db tier and apps tier .
please help me where the problem occcurrred.

Data forms not opening

Hi All,
We have got hyperion planning & workforce planning plan types in Planning APP,.......all of a sudden the dataforms connected to main plan type stopped opening.....dataforms connected to workforce planning are opening......
I refreshed the planning.....still dataforms are not opening.

The issue with data forms not opening.....we have recently enabled YTD & QTD in the planning App..........
1.In the columns if we have YTD(&CurrentMonth) with Suppress missing blocks option selected then dataforms are NOT opening...and if we Unselect Suppress missing blocks the dataforms are opening.
2.In the columns if we have YearTotal with Suppress missing blocks option selected then dataforms are opening.
The issue is with using YTD ....how can we solve this issue

WebDynpro ActiveX Button in Interactive form- not working in IE

Hi,
1) I am working with Interactive forms in WebDynpro. When I deploy the application, the PDF form is opens in a browser window, But the WebDynpro ActiveX button ( to call a method in view Controller) is not working.
When I copy the URL and try in another sysetm, its working.
I hope the probelem is with the browser settings.
2) And also, the 'https' URLs does not work properly in my IE.
Can you give me a solution for these problems?

I doubt this is anything to do with the browser. Please let me know if you have already installed SAP Active Control Framework on your desktop.
I think this might be an issue. Also check for Adobe Reader version in both the machine.

ADOBE Interactive Form not getting displayed in Browse

Currently I am working on EhP4 project on ECC 6.0 environment. For HCM, We have interactive ADOBE forms for MSS. While testing we found that all buttons are displayed in a browser (we are are window 7 IE 8 ) but interactive form is not getting displayed in the browser (Fill out Form as part of MSS). It only displays a line
Checked ADS configuration as per oss note and works ok. Did HTTPWATCH - browser is getting (GET) the Adobe forms with values but not displaying it. If I copy URL from HTTPWATCH GET line in a separate browser window it displays the form.

We were having this same problem, and this Note fixed the issue (thanks!). However, we are still experiencing another issue with HCM Processes and Forms under EhP4. Before this Note, it took about ten minutes before "single line display" would show up. Now after the Note, we get the full form, but it still takes ten solid minutes of waiting before it appears in the window. We're pretty sure it's not a Portal issue, nor an ADS issue, but something with the web dynpros on the ABAP side. However, we have not yet been able to resolve it. Anyone else run into this performance problem with HCMP&F after upgrading to EhP4? We don't have the problem with EhP3.

Dynamic table in webdynpro interactive form not working. Urgent

Hi guys,
I am facing a problem when trying to retreive data entered in interactive form dynamic table.i can get the data entered in non dynamic fields no problem.
I have a node structure like this
Root
Data 1...1 singleton and non tried both
Table 1...n singleton and non tried both
In my adobe form i tried adding rows using add instance, and also using add button in webdynpro native. In the same method that adds row i simulated the submit button to create row in WD context! It adds rows but any data entered later is lost. One more thing i have noticed is it sometimes works after adding just one row! Data is passed to context but from next row it doesnt work! What am i missing?
I also tried adding a button in webdynpro tray and adding the row directly to the context. new row is created in form but any data entered in new rows is lost!
I am unable to obtain the data entered in Dynamic fields. I thought i would try the xml reading method but the problem is after crating a couple of rows dynamically if i go save pdf locally the new rows are not showing up in the pdf!
I have seen a post which said using the if_wd_iactive handler to set the form as dynamic but that method is not available in our system! Sorry i am not in front of an SAP system so i cant type exact names!
I tried using zci update program/ etc etc but i am still struggling at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated! Pls ask if you need more info.

problem solved! I had to recreate the form. not sure if i corrupted the webdynpro scripts etc by mistake.

Adobe Interactive Form Not Editable

I have created Adobe Interactive Form using Web Dynpro Java Application.When i run the application i get the pop up message [The document enabled extented features in Adobe Reader.The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available.please contact the author for the original version of this document.].When i click for the pop up message the form is not interactive.If there is Adobe Life Cycle Designer and Adobe Reader version problem for this.Let me know if any one facing the same issue.

1. Check the Adobe form Version (from 7.1 to 8)
2. Installed Adobe form Extended Language Support Font Pack to Adobe ,if you are using some other language in Adobe form
3. Check the ADS Version.

Again i am running adcfgclone after changing apps password.Why do you have to run adcfgclone after changing the apps password? The cloning procedure is to run adcfgclone and make sure it completes successfully on all tier nodes, then change the apps password and run AutoConfig.
Have you added the application URL to the trusted sites list from the browser?
Can you find any errors in the application.log file?

PDF Forms not opening in Windows 7 Pro and 8

I am having problems with editable PDFs I have created using Mac Acrobat Pro 10.1.13 not opening with editable features. These PDFs open correctly when opened with Mac OSX and Windows 7 home version. They do not work correctly when opened in Windows 7 Pro or Windows 8. I get the following error message in Windows 7 Pro. Any ideas how I can make these forms work on all operating systems will be helpful. This document enabled features in Adobe Reader. The document has changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.

Interactive Form not so interactive

Hello,
I am trying to embed an interactive form in my WebDynpro application. I succeeded on displaying the form, but I cannot make it interactive.
The form actually has only one interactive element, which is a URL launch button. I unfortunately cannot make without this button, so I don't have much choice.
I can see the form is not interactive in the WebDynpro because clicking on the buttons does nothing, the cursor does not even change to the pointing finger. When I test the form from SFP (with interactive flag set) it works as expected.
What is already done to make the form interactive:
- Set the form layout type to ZCI.
- Checked the "Enabled" attribute in the INTERACTIVE_FORM element of the webdynpro view.
- Created an empty action for the on_submit event of the element.
- Tried with both Native and activeX displayType for the element.
Any suggestions ?

I have just made some tests and indeed when creating the form from the webdynpro, and the only different I can see is that it generates a XML based interface instead of an ABAP Dictionary based one. But indeed the interactive elements work in that case.
Concerning your last suggestion, I would really like to, and the actual code to launch a URL from a button is Javascript and client side, but it simply does not work, the click event seems impossible to trigger from a non-interactive form.
If you have no further idea I will see with the customer if it is worth it to remake the whole PDF just for that.

Why does the link to the forms not open the form?

The email link to the form only works when I am trying to view the page however it does not open for other participants.

Its possible they have email clients that can't properly handle the URL. Do you know what email clients they are receiving he email with?
When you send out the email make sure it is formatted as HTML and not plain text/rtf.
