Interactive reporting - how to share reports to IC_AGENT?

I am able to share the report to an employee, if i login as sales professional i am able to view the report. But if i login as IC_AGENT role which has Reports workcenter from sales professional navigation bar profile, i am not able to run the report. i am able to see the shared reports. but i am not able to execute.
How to run the shared report for IC Agent business role?

Hi Sven,
i am able to share the report. When i login to IC agent business role and click the report. It is not showing any results. It is not showing any error even.
Later i checked with SAP. Arvind devalla from SAP gave a solution for the issue.
I forgot to add Generic OP mapping CRM_OR_DISPLAY in the navigation profile. Which solved the issue. Now i am able to see the report output for IC agent.

    I suggest you read the documentation and HOWTO's on Interactive Reports, since it is covered in there

    basically configure the report how you want it (as a Developer) and then save it as the default for all users.

  • Interactive Reports - how to add a link to a document?

    Hi there,
    I have an interactive report that displays a list of items, I would like to add a column which displays a link for each item in the report, the link should display the Word/Excel document which is located somewhere on our network. The path to the document is stored in the table along with the items. Does anybody know how I can do this?

    I got an answer from the Edge Commons dream team and I am very grateful to them :
    "The problem that you bumped into was that you hadn't included a valid URL so far. We weren't sure if you wanted to include them within the SVG file or if you wanted to implement the functionality within Edge Animate. We came up with a solution for the latter one, with a simple switch in the js code:

    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to enhance the SAP given reporting areas in CRM Interactive Reporting tool. I have the SAP documentation, I know I have to use transaction code CRMD_IREW; but I am not sure of the rest of the steps SAP has given.
    Does anyone has any experience with this; can anyone share their thoughts and possible configuration steps and if possible please give a brief overview of how the fields get added to the reporting area, do they get added to the datasources first and then we need to manually add them to the virtual cubes and also in BEx query and then it gets reflected in Reporting area or how does it work?
    Any inputs will be greatly appreciated!

    In general, we add enhanced field to extract structure by appending method.
    later we  can implement logic at COMD or by using BADI to fill the data for added field.
    do test run at RSA3 and replicate into bw side.
    About CMOD Logic, WIth help abap epxert you need to find relation between data source base tables and added field base table. then only we can fill data to into it.
    Can we know what is your data source?
    Which field you want add from which table?

  • How to get the item name from a column in an interactive report?

    I created an interactive report. Then on the same page I added a tabular form region. What I want to implement is that, when I click a column link button on a specific row, the name of the row will be passed to the tabular region, so that the tabular region can list the corresponding items that belong to that specific row. But I have no idea what the name it is. Any idea? Thanks!

    Thanks! I've got it work! Now I can associate many product to a specific ProductNumber.
    Another issue comes up: I want to be able to add more products in this category. But when I press the "Add Row" button, it generates a new line but with ProductNumber null. This results me in failing to insert the new record, because the rule is that ProductNumber can't be null, and also it can't be assured that the new record is associated with this category (ProductNumber). What can I do to make it automatically come up with the same ProductNumber for new records? I guess some kind of a trigger may be needed, but I don't know how to do it.

  • Interactive Report: how to get value of given row/col cell in selected row

    Hi -- I have an interactive report. Instead of the default behavior of the link going to a single row view, I want it to
    go to a form for editing the row. This means I have to be able to populate the form w/ the correct row's information...
    so need to get the value(s) for the PK column(s) in the selected row of the interactive report, so I can select the row
    from the database.
    How can I do this? I see in the report attributes, Link Column section, I can set Rows Uniquely Identified by, and a Unique
    Column (though there could be more than one in a PK). I imagine I'd want to use the rowid, but I'm not sure how the
    rowid of the selected IR row can be referenced. And at that point, I'm not sure how to get the IR column value for
    that row. (Say I'm on the 8th row and I need the first column... How is the column referenced? By a number, it's name,
    its heading?)
    Or maybe I'm not on the right track at all...

    What I´m trying to do is: defining a button such as when you click it a pl-sql procedure is called, which needs as an input parameter the id of the row selected in my form. what I need first, then, is to get the id of the selected row. how did you get it?

  • Interactive report: How to display "count" column on total data set?

    Hi,
    I'm a relative newbie to APEX and would appreciate some help with the following:
    I have an interactive report that will usually contain around 8000 rows.
    I need to report the total number of distinct values in one of the columns - but I need to get around the limitation of APEX where it only counts the number of rows displayed on the screen.
    I thought to create a separate region and use a separate SQL query to show the full total regardless of the number of rows displayed - however, I've now got the problem of not being able to access the interactive report "query", so, for example, if someone running the report adds a filter, I need the total to report with this new filter applied.
    Does anyone know if I can:
    a) get around the the limitation of only counting the number of rows displayed?
    or, if not,
    b) how to access the interactive report "query" that is being run?
    or
    c) any other way of doing this!?

    Sorry I'm not being very clear about what I want. Why are these things always so hard to explain in words :o)
    I'll have another go....
    I have an interactive report that would report around, say, 8000 rows. Obviously I don't want to display all 8000 on the screen so I'll probably display them in chunks of 15 rows. If I use the aggregation function on the report, I can add a count of the distinct account numbers to the bottom of the display, but it will only count the ones displayed on the screen. I need the count to be of all the rows - so 8000 instead of 15 - but still displaying only 15 rows. When a user then applies a filter to the report, I need the count to change in accordance with the filter - so if the number of rows returned as a result of the filter is now 4000 instead of 8000, I need the count to now say 4000 instead of 8000 even though still only 15 rows are actually displayed on the screen.
    I'll try and pre-empt the questions...
    1) There will always be duplicate account numbers in there so the count will never be the actual number of rows - but I'm simplifying above to help explain the problem better
    2) Why would they want 8000 rows? Don't ask. I'm sure it's something to do with exporting the lot into an excel spreadsheet but they'll never admit it :o)

    I tried and set all the possible field types, but I found no ways to display the content exactly as it is (with carriage returns).
    Obviously I cannot use HTML
    , since I cannot ask users to digit it when inserting their text.
    Could someone suggest me how to reach this result? In need to use the interactive report because the searching/filtering tool is fundamental.

Put this in the page HTML Header, replacing the <tt>T_EMP_NAME</tt> etc selectors with the actual <tt>id</tt> attributes of your column headers:

    I have an interactive report.
    If i filter column A and don't want to show column A in the download spreadsheet or PDF(NVL(:REQUEST,'column A') NOT IN('XLS','PDF'). All of the rows will show up in my download file. How could i show just filtered rows in the download file and also don't show the filter column?

    Hello,
    I'm trying to create a computation on an Interactive Report from the Actions menu to compute a percentage.
    I have two Status columns, one for open and one for closed. I have to count the number of open and count the number of closed and then divide the two.
    I created an aggregate, count, on the open status and closed status, but how to use them in the computation? There's no 'count' in the Function list in the Compute box.
    I was hoping that those aggregated columns would be displayed in the Compute sub-menu on the Actions button but they don't appear to be.
    Can someone help me with this?

    Maybe an alternative would be to put this logic into the select.
    select u.object_name,
           u.object_type,
           count(case when u.object_type = 'TABLE' then 1 end) over () count_tables,
           count(case when u.object_type = 'VIEW' then 1 end) over () count_views
    from user_objects u;This would count the number of tables and views in the data dictionary. And it is returned as a column value.

    Hi,
    you can do this in your style sheet.
    Look for class .apexir_worksheet_data and change the font-size.

  • How to make an interactive report, non-interactive

    Hi,
    I have an interactive report. I have disabled every interactive control from the report by setting "include search bar" to NO and also at column level i didnt allow to sort or group or any other thing. Only problem is that when i click the column heading, i see a text box poping up and asks to enter some value so that it could filter the report and if i provide any value and pres enter, it returns message "ERR-1777: Page 1 provided no page to branch to. Please report this error to your application administrator."
    How can i disable this text box from appearing and making report fully non interactive. I don't want to rebuild the page as not interactive report and want to disable this popup from my current interactive report.

    Hi Salman,
    You can "disable" the column links by hiding them.
    The simplest method would be to change the column heading to something like:
    &lt;/div&gt;&gt;div&lt;EnameThe link is created on a DIV tag that contains no text. The above will close this DIV and open a new one for the heading. As there's no text in the first DIV, the user can't see it nor click on it.

    When you're logged into the development interface, run the page with the IR. Set the rows from 15 to 5 (for example) and click "GO". Now click on the Actions Menu icon (the green gear), click "Save Report". "Save as: As default report settings". Click Apply and your rows will be set.
