Interactive rollover function isn't working in full screen mode.

I've created an interactive document with animation in Indesign CC.
Part of this document has menu bars that change to longer bars when rolled over. I export as an swf and then place that in a separate document to export to pdf. When I open it in Acrobat Pro XI everything works correctly...until I make it full screen. The text and images look fuzzy and low res and the roll over function on the menu bar doesn't work. Unless you click and drag over them, not hover.
Things I have tried:
Changing the document to A3, as it is currently A4 - no change.
Changing the resolution in both flash exporting options and interactive pdf exporting options. I've tried 72 dpi, 96dpi 110dpi (to match the acrobat settings) - still no change.
Have tried both multi state object method of changing the menu bar and a show/hide function - This hasn't made a difference either.
I've had a flick through Acrobat settings but I'm not sure what I am looking for.
The buttons used with the roller also have a on release or tap function to go to a destination as well as the rollover option. I'm not sure if this button having multiple actions might be affecting this as it seems to have no problems handling multiple interactive actions when not in full screen.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I would like to inform you that you need to use keyboard shortcut V to bring up the select tool (Ctrl-V does not work).
Also, you may try pressing the F8 key to un-hide the toolbar.

Hello,
When working in full scree mode, I notice that some of the photos appear indeed in full screen, but some apprear much smaller, even though they are from the same batch, and were shot under the same conditions. Why is that?
Is there a way to increase the size of the photo to really fill the screen (in full screen mode)

They are not vertical, and as far I can tell they are no different, shot with the same camera, the same day, same specifications.
Is there a way to ioncrease their size, so they fill the screen, as they should?

Visualizer has stopped working in full screen mode

Hi, since getting the 10.2/10.2.1 updates my full screen visualizer has stopped working. It works inside the iTunes window but when I make it full screen it just shows me a freezed frame of the visualizer, it does not move.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the same issue.... after going to full screen to windowed and then back to full screen it does plays normally.... won't Apple ever say anything about this?!? I'll have to downgrade to ver. 9 this way....

Annoying single page view in full screen mode

I have checked the “Enable Scrolling” in the “View/Page Display” menu to have a continuous page flow (with gaps between pages) and avoid page bouncing when moving from the bottom of a page to the top of the next page. It works as expected when in windowed mode but not in full screen mode.
- Why isn’t it possible to have continuous page flow (with gaps between pages) when in full screen mode? It is as if Adobe Reader disregards the “View/Page Display” menu preferences and always reverts to “Single Page View” when in full screen mode!
- Also it would be nice to have an option to display a vertical scroll bar to the extreme right of the screen in full screen mode to be able to quickly scroll the document.
These two features are the primary ones that make me still using Foxit-Reader instead of Adobe Reader albeit Foxit-Reader has a lower PDF rendering quality.

I have same problem.
In Full Screen Mode , most functions are *NOT* working. For example , Show/Hide Menu Bar , Show/Hide Toolbars etc. Even use keyboard shortcut , they just *NOT* working.
I am wondering is any chance to make Show/Hide Menu Bar , Show/Hide Toolbars working on Full Screen Mode ?
At least , please add some keyboard shortcut to change Page Display .

The keyboard shortcut (U) for highlighting doesn't work when you switch to full screen Acrobat switches to the article reading tool. You do not seem to be able to switch to the select tool so you can highlight.

Full screen mode: How to switch between open windows?

Is there way to get CMD + ` working in full screen mode?
Other shortcuts like CMD + OPT [ ] to switch between open tabs and CMD + TAB to switch apps seem to work - but without the ability to switch between open windows within the same app, full screen mode is kind of useless.
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
BTW I'm using Yosemite but the forums won't find a Yosemite community (not sure the community search is working properly)

Advanced Filter Behaves differently in Full screen mode

I have a power view report designed and published in SharePoint 2013. It has a filter on a text field -
I can filter it with filter conditions "contains" in regular view mode. But this same field is not editable in "Full Screen Mode". The Numeric filters work fine in "Full screen mode"
Is there any recommendations to fix this?

According to your description, you find the advanced filter in Power View is not working in Full screen mode. Right?
Unfortunately, this is a known and documented limitation of Silverlight, which does not support keyboard input in full screen mode. Please refer to a Microsoft feedback below:

Snapping function isn't working on clips in timeline.

I'm using fcp 7, which I just loaded onto my new iMac and it's behaving differently than it did on my MacBook Pro. The footage (codec apple pro res) looks stuttery, and a few other things are odd, but most bothersome is that the snap function isn't working. No mater how I select, deselect, reselect, it just ain't on. Help?

Either press the Snapping button on the upper right end of the timeline -
or go to the menu View > Snapping to toggle snapping on or off -
or type the letter "n".

OS X maverick - I want the swipe function to switch from one full-screen application to another, is it possible?

I just updated my mid-2010 MacBook Pro to the OS X Maverick. However, a friend of mine has Mountain Lion, and she has this really cool function that lets her swipe the keyboard to change the view from one "screen" to another, so for example she might have word open in one screen and safari in another. Can I do it in OS X Maverick as well? And if it isn't possible in Maverick, can I somehow update it so that I get the function? I've been trying to do the same with mine but it isn't working.. Really keen to get it to work as it would make life so much easier with writing essays and what not. I'm not very good with anything related to software, so forgive me if this seems like a silly question. Also, I'm not a native English speaker so my terminology might not be the best..

Not a silly question at all.
The function is called Spaces, which lets you switch between different desktops. You can read about Spaces here: Mac 101: Using Spaces to organize your windows and applications (Mac OS X v10.5, 10.6)
If you click the symbol with the two opposite arrows, in the upper right corner of the window of an application that supports it, an app will open in full-screen mode.
Then you can configure the gestures that control Spaces in Applications > System Preferences > Trackpad > more gestures.
On my mac, for example, if I do a three finger swipe upwards, it opens Mission Control. Mission Control organizes the different desktops in Spaces. I can open a new desktop for Spaces, remove a desktop, or switch apps between desktops.
It probably doesn't make much sense when this is described in words, but if I were you I'd just jump in and experiment with it a bit. If you have more questions report back here.

Show desktop not working in full screen app

The thumb & three finger swipe to show the desktop does not work for me if the screen is filled with a full screen app. If hte app is not full screen then the gesture works.
Is this a bug, does anyone else get this, what use is the gesture if it doesn't work with full screen apps??!

No, the gesture doesn't work in full screen since technically there isn't a desktop under the full screen app. I just swipe to an adjacent desktop.

Reply and forward not working in full screen mail app

In the full screen version of the Mail application in Lion I can't reply or forward any messages. I have to go back to the old view in order to respond to mail. Is anyone else having this problem and if so, is there a fix? The full screen apps and new mail program were a major reason I upgraded..

I regularly experience the same problem. It also occurs with Compose.
Sometimes Compose, Reply and Forward work fine in full screen mode. But frequently they don't, and I have to exit full screen mode to regain functionality. I have not been able to detect any pattern.

Monitor not working yet full screen does!!

Can U please help. The monitor screen only displays my half completed film intermittently. When I use the arrow on right to increase to full screen mode everything is fine but obviosly I can't get a precise edit this way. Help?!!

NB100 touchpad scroll bar stops working after exit full screen mode youtube

I have few Toshiba laptops, satellite, and now netbook100.
All of them share one problem, touchpad scroll bar:
It will stop working after exit full screen mode in youtube.
Here is how to reproduce the incident:
1. using any mainstream browser, start playing a youtube video, click full screen button at the bottom right corner of the video.
2. click on the [cross] to exit the full screen mode. (next to full screen button.)
3. check if you scroll bar still functioning.
4. a reboot will restore the function.
Currently, Im on vista, I believe in XP you will have the same problem.
Searching in google (touchpad scroll bar stops full screen youtube) will return more people share the same question but no answer.
Environments: win xp all, win vista all.
Windows all most updated driver, touch pad driver up to date.
This is not a major tech problem but for a netbook, this is very annoying.
If anyone have this problem or answers, please share it here.

I had the exact same problem on my laptop and after a lot of searching, I finally found the simplest solution that really works for me so here goes:
Once you exit the full screen video and the scroll pad has stopped working, click once anywhere on the youtube page(just to unfocus from the video) and press the spacebar button on your keyboard twice.
Et voila, your scroll pad should be working again. Beats the hassle of having to log off everytime.

I have Satellite A300-20P and VGA ATI 3650
I made upgrade to Windows 7 Professional
All games working well but not in full screen. I installed the last driver for ATI for Windows 7. It was working in full screen in Vista before I make upgrade.
Same problem on my brother`s laptop after he make upgrade to Windows 7.

Normally you can change the screen resolution in every game and if they should run in full screen mode or not. Check this!!!
Can you also tell us what display driver you have installed? The drivers from the Toshiba page are for desktop cards and not for mobile cards. So please use only the Toshiba drivers.

Go to System Preferences (under the Apple logo in the menu bar). Choose "General". Click "Always close windows when quitting an application".
That should fix it.
