Interactivity lost in browser

Hi,
i have an interactive pdf. I want to be able to use my navigation buttons, but have them work in a browser.
They don't seem to work.
Is this normal, or a bug?

You can't close the browser window. You can close the event library. Is that what you mean? Shift-Cmd-1 opens and closes the library. If something else is happening, post a screen shot of what you're seeing.

It may be as simple as going to Safari>View>Show Address Bar.
If that is not the solution you may want to try Safari>View>Customize Address Bar...>Drag your favorite item into the toolbar...(Address and Search)

Do I interact with the browser or Plug-in

I am interested in how Flash gets displayed in a web browser
and how much of the interaction and display is dependant on the web
browser.
If you interact with a flash application on a web browser are
you really interacting with the browser first which passes on the
message to the Flash plug-in. Or after an initial set up is all
interaction with the Flash application directly dealt by the
Plug-in where the browser has essentially no idea what is
happening?
For example when I click on a "Skip" button on a flash
animation shown on a web page, am I clicking on the browser or the
Flash plug-in that is installed on the browser?

I'm assuming fireflox with an L in the name is a typo?
If not, can you provide more detail about the plugin? Who is the publisher, where is it installed, what is it for, etc.?
By the way, if you see plugin-container.exe in the Task Manager, that is used to isolate Flash from firefox.exe so that crashes in Flash do not kill your entire browsing session. That's normal.
Regarding extensions, which ones did you disable that become re-enabled on their own? If you don't want an extension, you should be able to remove it. If it was installed by third party software, then usually you can remove it through the Windows Control Panel and/or options in the related software.

Adobe Interactive Forms with Browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to implement HCM P&F using Adobe Interactive Forms. These Adobe Forms will be accessed using Browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox. I have come across that the Adobe Interactive Forms are not supported on these browsers. In the same regard I have also gone through the Product Availability Matrix by SAP which specifies that Forms are not support on these browser and neither SAP has future plans to support them.

I would like to know from experts that if any of the project has successfully implemented Adobe Interactive Forms with browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox or
is there any solution which can make these forms work successfully on browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox is supported for Adobe Interactive Forms on Windows operation system.
Unfortunatelly we do not have support for Mac OS and Safari browser.
Please re-check the PAM.

After download upgrade to firefox 4 it won't load saying I need to re-boot computer first which I've done 4 times, also it won't let me repair or uninstall or download firefox 3 until I reboot, which makes no difference I've lost my browser. now what?

After downloading an upgrade to firefox 4 the computer shut down and restarted, but firefox wouldn't open, saying I needed to shut down and re-start the computer first. Which I did again. Same result. So I tried to repair the file but it told me to reboot. Which I did again. Then I tried to uninstall it, but it wouldn't saying I needed to reboot. Which I did again. Then I tried to download firefox 3 but it wouldn't saying I needed to reboot. Which I did again. Now I've lost my browser! How do I get firefox working please?

It seems strange to reply to my own problem, but I'm doing it in the hope it might help someone who's in a fix, as I was. First, let me say that the problem of Firefox 4 being jammed may not have been the fault of firefox; it might have been this cranky vista operating system... but if you're introducing a browser for use on a cranky system, you need to tailor it to that system.... After I posted this problem, I tried a system restore to just before the firefox 4 download, which re-introduced firefox 3.6 on my programs, but it was still jammed and blocked. .... Then a friend recommended a free download: Revo Uninstaller, which will force uninstalling if necessary; and after an initial protest, Revo got to work and removed all the firefox files.... Then I re-downloaded firefox 3.6... and amazingly: it works! Even my tabs and bookmarks have been preserved, although I don't know how!.... For the future: if mozilla can't overcome this problem before they force firefox 4 on their users, then if it jams again, I have been advised to go to Google Chrome- which I don't want to do.... So, do, please, Firefox, give us a fully workable and user friendly system before you force us to go over to it [Firefox 4, that is]. Thank you so much, in anticipation.

Flash interactive shown in browser

hi,
i just completed a flash interactive tutorial with
interactive buttons linking the menu page and the submenu pages,
its completely running as swf files. Now i want to show this
tutorial in a browser. how do i do this? any tutorials please. do i
just insert the main menu swf file in a blank html page and upload
it, would it play the other pages when i start clicking buttons?
would the buttons have the url path? i tried that and its not
playing the other swf files, i want the buttons working in the
browser inside an html page which i can upload.

I have lost safari browsing, reinstalled it, added update combo for lion and safari, now I don't have even have a drop down menu under my apppleon the top tool, sometimes no responses to anything....stange garbled messages....reset safari many times...

What you're describing makes no sense; it's a jumble of thoughts and supposed actions, but no concrete information to tell us anything.
If you downloaded Lion, that would not cause what you describe. If you had Snow Leopard running when you downloaded Lion, that also wouldn't cause what you describe. So you had to ahve done something to end up in this state. You say you reinstalled 105.1, but there is no such thing; more likely you mean Mac OS X 10.5, in which case you've answered your own questionn about having Snow Leopard installed anymore.
But if you did that, the question is why? Unless there was something catastrophic wrong with Snow Leopard, there would be no reason to reinstall Leopard. You also describe browsing with Yahoo, but that's not possible because Yahoo is not a browser. The Dock also does not just go "missing".
You're going to need to reinstall Leopard using the Archive & Install option, and then install Snow Leopard to get back to a usable state. If you have a backup from prior to when all these problems began, that's good. If not, then you will have to take your chances on losing all your data if this doesn't work.
Startup from your Leopard disc (if your system came with Leopard), choose your language, and then start the install process. Be sure to choose Archive & Install and Preseve Users and Network Settings before you start the installation. When it's done, let it restart and then check to be sure everything is in working order. If it is, put the Previous Systems folder in the Trash and empty it.
Then download the 10.5.8 Combo Update from the Apple web site and apply it. Restart and check to be sure everything is working.
Post back when you've done that.

CSM - insert header source ip - lost when browser refresh

inserting the client's ip address into the http header using a CSM works fine. But after a a browser refresh, the information is lost.
Is ther any way to overcome this?

do you have configured 'persistent rebalance' ?
If yes, I would suggest to capture a trace to see what exactly occurs in the network when your browser does a refresh.

TAB focus lost to browser

Hey Folks. Have an AS2 file that keeps TAB focus/order properly when using Firefox or Safari but NOT when using IE. It's fine at first but when I TAB to and select a button the next TAB goes to IE's address bar. This does NOT happen in Firefox or Safari. Can someone please point me to some info on how to avoid this?

maybe when you reactivate the browser, you reactivate the site(!) and not the applet.
The applet is only a part of the site and has to be activated, too.
I guess this is the problem.
