Intercompany Invoice with different currency

Hi,
I would like to ask for intercompany sales, i.e. there is an invoice (F2) from Company Code A to a customer and there is an invoice from Company Code B to Company Code A (IV). The F2 invoice has to be in GBP and the IV invoice has to be in EUR.
How is it possible?
BR

Hello
You can take use of SD Document Currency (VBRK-WAERK). Generally, the system proposes the document currency from the customer master record of the sold-to party. You can change the currency manually in the document. If you change the currency, the system recalculates prices for the entire document.
Also refer the following link for understanding - Intercompany currency to be same as the customer currency

It seems you need define translation ratios of currency by SPRO - General Settings - Currencies - Define Translation Ratios.
FYI. If you maintain lots of currency please considering UNI. That means to define all the translation ratio between UNI with other currencies.

  • Invoice posting with different currency for the same PO

    Hi,
Can we post the the Invoice with different currencies for the same PO.
    For example.
PO has Qty 100 pcs.  amount 100 USD
    GR   Qty 100 pcs.
Is it possible to post Invoice of 50 pc with 50 USD, and 50pcs with some other currency.
    Any sugggestions pls.
    Thanks,
    Satya

    Hello
As per my knowledge, that is not possible.
And in whjat scenario, we need to do that?
In MIRO header itself we have the vendor currency, so it is not posbile to maintain different currency in different line items in MIRO.
If you want, you can do MIRO in different currency that what is in PO.
In the example given, you have o post 2 invoices, one for 50 qty in USD and the other 50 in different currency in other invoice transaction by giving the currency in basic data-invoice header and then only press ENTER after giving the PO number.
    Hope this helps

    Dear Valued Consultant,
Can i Match invoices with a currency different from the purchase order curr
    Thanks

    Hi,
As a functionality, Payables will not allow matching an invoice to a purchase order that is in a different currency.
Refer Oracle Public sector payables user guide for 11i (page 4-94).
I understand that there is an enhancement request (3286623) logged for this functionality.

  • Unable to clear vendor with different currency being posted

    Dear Experts,

Full payment has been made to the balance of ZERO, but we still unable to clear this vendor account. Any expert can help me how to clear the above mentioned vendor.

    Hi,
Please check whether the customisation for exchange difference accounting has been done.  If so then
    T Code is F-44 or F-04
Either use Local Currency. : In this case if there is any exchange rate difference between the invoice and payment date the difference will be posted to exchange diff account.
Or Use the Doc Currency : In this case you can provide the exchange rate in the transaction so that you will not get any exchange rate difference.
    Hope this solves your issue.

  • Register 2 purchase contidions with different currency

    Hello All,
In our project we are facing to a big issue with different currencies in the PO conditions.
An example of the situation in the PO is the following (but should be different currencies, not always the same currency for the same condition):
        - the condition for price is in GBP
        - the condition for transport is in USD
        - the condition for "custom" is in EUR
For each condition, we have a different vendor. We work in France, so we have also the PAM activated.
    Our requirement:
        - we need to keep the original amount in currency for the GR (so in this case to have 3 postings due to the currency in the header of FI posting) because due to the big amount of currencies in the company, we need to follow exchange rate at the end of the month
        - we need to enter the invoice in the currency of the condition
Today when we have a GR, the system, even if we have 3 vendors, create only one global posting by translating the different condition to the PO currency (here in GBP). In fact, when the PO is created, the condition is immediatly converted.
Does anyone have a solution to do that ? Apparently in IS-OIL solution, this kind of posting is possible. But no information is available in OSS about this point.
    Thanks & regards

    hi iswari
you can acheieve this prodided you have maintained the corresponding currencny in the Schedulling agreement, kinldy maintain the curren in ME32k and assing the agreement while converting purchase requisition to purchase order .Since you are creating the order the price will be in the currency you have maintained in customizing.
youcan also enter the price in MO, just double click the operation and in external tab page select the FULL SERVICE button in the bottom of the screen, anew screeen will appear where you will enter the overall limit and expected value

  • Purchase Order and Invoice in Different Currency

    Hi All
Is it possible to capture an Invoice with foreign currency agianst an order created in local currency using T.Code MIRO
    Vishnu

    Hi Vishnu ,
The Currency is defaulted from PO in MIRO and in PO it is defaulted from vendor master. So there is no option to change the currency in the MIRO. if you have to change it you have to change the PO and also set the conversion factor and also maintain the values in t-code OB08 for the same .
I am sorry but i dont think that there is any possibility at MIRO level for changing the currency.

  • Contracts with different Currencies

Hi SAP experts,is it possible  to create a Contract with different currencies in line items for a vendor???.Thank you for any advice.

No, the currency is a header field (EKKO-WAERS).
It is possible to enter conditions with a different currency, but this will then be converted into the "PO currency"

  • Does Oracle E-Biz 11i support intercompany Invoice with a negative line?

We are using Oracle E-Biz GL/AP/AR/FA (Oracle E-Biz 11.5.2.10). Now we are facing this issue: When we create an intercompany Invoice with a negative line it does not generate proper inter-company entries.
    For eg:
    Invoice Amount 1000 for company1
    Distribution:
    Company2.account.company1 : 300
    Company3.account.company1 : 300
    Company4.account.company1 : 500
    Company5.account.company1 : -100
when transfer to GL process is done following entries are generated.
    Company1.Liab account.company1 Credit 1000
    Company2.Exp account.company1 Debit 300
    Company3.Exp account.company1 Debit 300
    Company4.Exp account.company1 Debit 500
    Company5.Exp account.company1 Credit 100
on posting following Intercompany transactions are generated.
    Company2.Interco Payable account.000 Cr 300
    Company3.Interco Payable account.000 Cr 300
    Company4.Interco Payable account.000 Cr 500
    Company5.Interco Recievable account.000 Dr 100
    Company1.Interco Recievable account.000 Dr 1000
where as the correct entry should be :
    Company2.Interco Payable account.company1 Cr 300
    Company3.Interco Payable account.company1 Cr 300
    Company4.Interco Payable account.company1 Cr 500
    Company1.Interco Payable account.company5 Cr 100
    Company5.Interco Recievable account.company1 Dr 100
    Company1.Interco Recievable account.company2 Dr 300
    Company1.Interco Recievable account.company3 Dr 300
    Company1.Interco Recievable account.company4 Dr 500
Have you faced this kind of issue? Does Oracle support intercompany Invoice with a negative line (credit)? If 11i doesn't support this feature, does Oracle E-Biz 12 support this feature?
Your insights will be very helpful.

    Hi,
Now we are trying to convert the 11g-Database UTF-8 characterset to AL32UTF8 characterset. Why do you need to change the database characterset?
As per metalink Notes, there is no very clear steps on how to deal with Apps Environment after DB characterset change using CSALTER.Did you go through these documents?
    Note: 788156.1 - AL32UTF8 / UTF8 (Unicode) Database Character Set Implications
    Note: 260192.1 - Changing the NLS_CHARACTERSET to AL32UTF8 / UTF8 (Unicode)
Note: 124721.1 - Migrating an Applications Installation to a New Character Set
    Note: 225912.1 - Changing the Database Character Set ( NLS_CHARACTERSET )
    1) After DB characterset change, do we have to run Autoconfig, after editing the DB XML file to reflect new characterset value.Yes.
    2) Does the same apply to Application CONTEXT file also for APPL_TOP, etcAre you also changing the application tier characterset? However, I would say you will have to run AutoConfig in both cases.
    3) when shud we run adadmin- filesystem cahracterset conversion. Before or after autoconfig.Run the "Convert character set" via adadmin, then run AutoConfig -- See "Oracle® Applications Maintenance Utilities" manual for details.
Also i am facing issues in connecting to sqlplus from applmgr user after the DB characterset change.
It just core-dumps.Did you implement all the steps mentioned in the documents? What is the complete error message? What does "echo $NLS_LANG" return as oracle and applmgr users?

  • Currency conversion with different currency and company code

    Hi all,
how could it be done if in the report different currencies have to be managed / displayed?
The InfoObject 0Comp_Code has to be handled for example with different currencies. There are different company codes available and their currency should be converted in the query. But for example we have different currencies like dollar, yen and euro. So the currency should be dedicated correctly.
And the credit control area (the highest level in organisation) has only Euro.
The data (currency) of credit control area and company code in the cube is available only in Euro at the moment.
I thought it would be more flexible when the conversion is done at query level then at transformation level. We have filters in the query and the query is very fast. Is it also possible to include a currency for selection in filter?
Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi,
Yes, it is possible to have a filter for selection of target currency if multiple currencies are involved. However, you would need to define a currency translation first in RSCUR. Here, you can specify EUR to be the fixed source currency & a variable in case of target currency which will be used as a filter for user input when the query is executed. You also need to have a reference date (exchange rate date) & a exchange rate type (avg. mthly rate, daily buying rate etc.) associated with the currency translation.

  • How to do consolidation using two chart accounts with different currencies

    Hi
How to do consolidation using two chart accounts with different currencies and do we need to use same fiscal year variant ?
What would be the impossible factors when we use two company codes with two chart of accounts ...
    Regards
    Kesharika

    Good Afternoon
You need to use translationa and/or valuation
translation takes account in foreign currency and translates to group currency
valuation takes account in currency 1 and restates into currency 2 for a company with currency 2
so depends on which company you are consolidating for, a company in a foreign currency in that currency or consolidating a compnay in foreign currency to parent company in another currency
